Chapter 5
AS OUR FAMILY THEY ...
Teddy Lupin
Teddy was looking around Draco's new quarters when Ginny firecalled. "Draco? You there."
Teddy stepped near the fire place, "Hi Ginny. No Draco's not here, but he told me to let you through."
"Okay."
Moments later Ginny walked in, with her husband holding Islet, right behind her.
"Hi Teddy. Don't you have classes?" asked Ginny Weasley.
"Later in the day. Yes." He smiled at Ginny.
She was as much a mother figure to him as was his grandmother. On second thought, their relationship could be recognised as more of an older sister and younger brother. She had taken care of him most of his life. Even after Harry and her split, she had been there for him. Ginny had been the person to hug whenever the memories of his grandmother was too much to handle after she had passed away, when she would share the memories of her own brother Fred to make him feel understood, a sister to ask for dating advice and then complain to when the date falls through. She had been there through it all, right along side Harry, treating him just like her family, like James, Al and Lily. He had been forever grateful to have them as his family.
He had tried to be there for her too, during her hard times. When she herself struggled with being a mother with mental issues, to be away from her children and miss them, yet not wanting to subject them to her degrading mental heath. She had been through too much, and he had tried to be there for her. Tried, he been too busy with trying to set up his own life that his tries weren't as many as he would have liked, he just hoped there would be more opportunities to be there for her and Harry, in any way that he could.
"Where is Lily?" She asked.
"She went in a little while ago. I think she is sleeping."
He looked towards Blaise, and shook hands with him. He then turned his attention to the little girl standing near her father. He crouched down to her level.
"And you little Islet. How are you?"
"Hi Teddy." The little girl said with her hands behind her back and a huge smile on her face.
"You get prettier and prettier every time I see you. What's your secret." She giggled at him.
"I like you hair." She told him as she batted her eyes.
"Thanks for noticing. I just got them today." He said as brushed then tips of his hair. He made them grow an inch longer just to see the little girl's eyes and smile get bigger.
"Oh. It's really nice." The girl nodded fiercely, before Blaise leaned down to pick her up in his arms once again.
"You are a troublemaker, young lady." Her father told her.
Teddy stood up to his whole height. "What did she do now?" He asked.
Almost too eager to know what new mischief Islet had performed. He was low-key excited and frightened at the same time to have her enter Hogwarts, when it's her time. She was gonna be a real trouble maker, just like her brothers James and Albus, and Teddy loved trouble makers. Ofcourse nobody knew that. It had been most fun when both James and Albus had been at the school at the same time. It been generic couple years since one of the Potter brothers have been out play Quidditch. Yet he had a feeling that Islet would be more than a handful than both her brothers combined.
"You wouldn't believe if I told you. Even I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes." Replied Blaise, a bewildered look on his face.
Teddy frowned curiously, but it didn't seem like Blaise was gonna enlighten him. So he turned to Ginny, who had situated herself at one of the sofas at the centre of the room. She seemed to be holding in her laughter from the way she was covering her mouth.
He saw Blaise frown at her, "I don't think we are gonna stay, Ginn. See you at home."
Ginny stood up and walked towards him with her big smile.
"Sure, honey. I will see you at home later." She pecked him on his lips and then kissed Islet on her cheek.
"But I wanna stay." Whined little Islet.
Neither of them listened to her, as Blaise stepped into the Fire, and they were gone.
When Ginny turned to him, Teddy felt confused as hell. She stepped close to him and ruffled his hair, as she passed him by.
"Cheer up, you magnetic man." She walked back to her seat with a smirk, which reminded him so much of Lily.
That's when her words registered in his mind - Magnetic man, Blaise's leaving and Little Islet's unusually quiet behaviour. His cheeks warmed. Oh my.
"Stop blushing, Ted. I am sure that's not the first underage girl to have a crush on you. Now come sit down."
He chose to sit beside Ginny. He would have preferred the chair opposite her, which would have been more conducive for their conversation, but he didn't want Ginny laughing at him every time he looked at her. It was bad enough that he might never be able to face Blaise again.
Ginny had now picked up one of the magazines from Draco's table and was looking through it.
"The best part of about having an Gay ex Husband, you wouldn't mind going his their porn stash."
She told him without looking up from the magazine. Teddy got curious and scooted closer, to have a peak.
And there on the page was a leather clad wizard with open robes, showing off his abs. Another slender man was wrapped around his side, showing off his perfect naked butt. His thigh covering the other man's groin as the he held his knee possessively in return. They were staring into each other's eyes, look of pure lust shared. As Teddy perused he noticed that Nothing except the other guy's face and Arse was visible.
His faced felt warmed again. Before Ginny can comment on something, he rose up from the sofa and adjusted his robes.
"I have to leave. Got a class to prepare for." He threw over his shoulder, making sure not to make eye contact with her.
He hasten to take his leave, he felt like his heart was on fire.
Lily Luna Potter
Lily felt refreshed and energised when she came out after taking a long hot shower. That was the first time she had been left by herself since her last potions class. She had always liked being with her own thoughts, it was therapeutic for her. If the Meditation Retreat had taught her anything, it was that all the answers that are worth finding will always be found within. She touched her not yet growing stomach. It's been not even a month, but she felt like she had changed. She looked herself in the mirror, she had dawned on a fresh new school uniform. She looked the same as everyday, but she felt different. Suddenly everything seemed bright around her. She smiled to herself, "you can do this."
She heard a laughter from outside, and banging of a door. She quickly opened the door and went out to investigate. Her mother was sitting on a sofa in the middle of livingroom, in a fit of giggles.
"Mom?" She asked.
Ginny turned to look at her with watery eyes. She gestured for her to come sit by her, which Lily did.
"What's so funny?" She looked at the magazine in her hands and rolled her eyes.
"I don't think that's funny, if anything it's...
"Nope." Her mother interrupted her, raising her dramatically, "I can't handle another of my daughters drooling today."
"Mother!" She said horrified, before putting two and two, then found herself grinning in anticipation for listening to the next shenanigan of her little sister.
"What did Lettie do?" She asked her mother.
Her mother rolled her eyes, clearly mimicking Lily.
"It's that Teddy. He has the charm of the Devil. There is no Weasley girl or woman who hasn't had a crush on him. Even your Grandma Molly gives him extra sweets to get extra hugs from him."
Lily laughed at that asking, "where is she then, Lettie?"
"You won't believe. Blaise was right there when she started giggling and flirting with Teddy. Blaise got so mad he took her home. Bless his heart, when Teddy realised what had happened, he got all flustered and started blushing."
Lily was giggling like school girls with her mother now.
"Please don't tell me you made fun of him."
Ginny gave her a wicked grin, "Ofcourse not. I just showed him this And watched him run out like his arse was on fire." She said pointing to the picture in the magazine.
"Oh mom you are wicked."
They have been laughing for a few minutes discussing Teddy's embarrassment, when the portrait opened and in walked Albus and Scorpius. Matching bruises on their cheeks.
Lily was about to storm up-to them, when her mother grabbed her hand to stop her. Ginny pointed to the both of them to take a seat opposite them. Which both them did obediently.
"Seriously. I expected better from you Albus." Lily shouted at him.
"Hey! He hit me too." Albus exclaimed. The nerve!
She looked at Scorpius with accusing eyes. Scorpius only smiled at her, which only served to fuel her temper.
Just then the fire in the floo lit up and in walked her dad.
He smiled at the group, "So how is my family?"
None of them answered, all of them staring at the bruise on his cheek, so much like Scorpius and Albus's.
"What?" He asked when no one replied to him.
Lily finally spoke up.
"So how many more of them should I expect. Are you people trying to create a matched set?"
"If Blaise had stayed any longer, I am sure, Teddy would have fit right in with these three." Ginny told her.
That's when Harry noticed the bruises on the boys' faces. He gave them a disapproving look. That's when he seemed to remember about his own face, and he touched his own face.
"Seriously, dad. What happened?"
Harry waved a hand at the group and took a seat on a near by sofa.
"Just a scuffle with a prisoner gone wrong."
"You are the Head Auror and Harry Potter. How come it's not in the news." Ginny asked.
"We decided to keep it under wraps. Anyway. What were you saying about Blaise?" He asked, clearly trying to change the subject.
Her mother seemed to let go off her interrogation and started telling them about Little Islet's antics.
While they were still talking, she motioned for Scorpius to follow her, which he did.
Scorpius Xenophelius Malfoy
Scorpius closed door behind himself. They were in a room not quite decorated but looked clean enough. The bed was made up with violet sheets. It looked like silk. It was framed by two side tables with individual lamps. There were two sets of closets on one side of the door he had just closed. There was one door that he assumed led to a bathroom on the right side of the room. Right beside it stood a long mirror, with intricate silver gold frame that he recognised from Malfoy Manor, it used to belong to his grandmother Narcissa. There were two sets of windows on either side of the bed, hidden by shimmery violet curtains.
On the other side of the room stood a pair of study tables with matching chairs. Between the two tables stood another window, again hidden by the curtain. On the other side of the door stood an empty bookself from floor to ceiling.
He turned his attention back to Lily. She was now sitting on the the silky sheets, at the foot of the bed. Her hair were loose and fell over her shoulders. Her ankles crossed were hanging off the floor, and her hands on the sheets, made her look so inviting. Scorpius swallowed and asked.
"Is this our room?"
"Yeah." She seemed distracted, her eyes glued to the dark blue strip of rug at her feet.
He decided to lean against the closet near the door instead of joining her on the bed, which seemed dangerous.
"What are you thinking?" He asked.
"No, Scorpius. What were you thinking? Why did you hit Albus." Scorpius sighed.
"Lil, that wasn't about you. I promise. It was about us. We have been friends for a long time. We needed to sort a few things out."
"I didn't know sorting require punches."
"It does with us."
She looked at him with fire in her eyes. She was about to clearly shout at him but she stopped and ran her hands through hair, pushing them over her head. Then she rose up and stomped towards the chair near of one of the study tables. He forceful drew back the chair and She plopped down. She visibly took a deep breath. He wanted so bad to laugh at her antics, but he controlled himself. He knew what she was doing. He had seen her do that a hundred times. She seemed to think if she changed the places she can change her mood.
He cleared his throat to let go of his laugher and walked to the place on the bed which she had just vacated. He sat and ran his fingers on the duvet. It was soft, Silk. Image of him rubbing the fabric on Lily's bare skin came into his mind. He could drag her naked body to him as he brought himSelf into her over and over again, without leaving sheet burns on her naked skin. As his breath quickened, he closed his eyes and tried to shake the image out of his mind. This wasn't the time or place.
When he looked up at Lily once again, she was staring at his hand on the sheet, as he stilled caressed it. He thought about how her her hair had felt between his fingers that morning. He would very much like to hold on to them as he took her lip between his teeth. Vivid images started bombarding his mind. He saw a blush creep up Lily's face, and he knew what she was thinking about.
His breathing increased by tenfold.
"Lily." He said.
When she looked up to meet his eyes, he asked. "Can you please come here?"
It was an invitation. He wasn't gonna force her, it was all new for both of them, with each other. But if she wanted she could come to him. Or they could wait. He could wait a hundred more years for her. Now when, what he had desired for so long was here, he wasn't gonna ruin it by being impatient.
She opened her mouth to say something, a little of her tongue peeking out, but she didn't say anything.
Then she rose up from the chair, her skirt rose just a tiny bit to give him a peak of her upper thighs. As she walked towards him, she didn't break their i contact. She came to stand in front of him. Their knees almost touching.
He took her hand and pulled her to sit beside him. He reached up And ran his fingers through and moved her hair behind her ear. She reacted by leaning towards him, just an inch. He was more than happy to meet her halfway. He buried his fingers in her Hair and touched his lips to hers.
...
Lily Luna Potter
She believed in multiple realities. She believed that there were hundreds of dimensions where she existed at that time, and infinite other possibilities. She believed that time was non linear and space could be bent to give way for new realities. She believed in possibilities and in, what people might call, impossibilities. She had given thought to the good and evil and everything in between so much, that she had an opinion on everything. She had played with the concepts of everything under the sun, that she could write a thesis on them. On a good day she might even predict future.
But never had she ever imagined kissing Scorpius Malfoy. The concept, if presented to her a few days ago, she wouldn't have given it a second thought. Why would she. It was one of the impossibilities. Ofcourse. For Him being her stepbrother.
Yet when she had seen his fingers caressing the fabric of the bedding, the only thought that remained in her continuously bustling mind was, those fingers on her skin. Then bombardment of images was into play, all of them with his skin on hers, them in each other's arms, under those soft violet sheets. His silky white strands of hair between her fingers as he kisses her neck. Her straddling his lap as he sat there, and making him moan.
That is when she had heard his voice, sultry and thick with desire, as he asked her to come near him.
She opened her mouth to tell him if she came near him, she will do something he wouldn't expect. The look in his eyes told her, he expected exactly that.
Without giving it a second thought, she had walked towards him. As she stood in front of him, she realised he was eye level with her Breasts. It was on purpose. It wasn't her first seduction. He pulled her to him and sat her beside him.
She would very much have liked to sit on his lap, to straddle him to be technical.
He raised his hand and touched the back of her ear, her eyes closed with the tiny touch on her sensitive skin. Then she felt his lips on hers. And it had been official. She was gonna devour Scorpius Malfoy, father of her children.
And her eyes flew open, her hand going to her stomach.
She realised that she had pulled away from him so fast that he might have taken it as a rejection, which was far from the truth.
"The babies." She said. His eyes widened in panic, and he placed in hand on her stomach.
"What! What happened?"
"I. Don't panic. I just remembered you are ... we already have babies on the way and this is our first kiss." She told him nervously.
"So. You don't want to... kiss me?" he asked with an unsure voice.
She licked her lips, his eyes glued on her mouth. The hunger was evident on his face. She gave him a seductive smile, which has always worked in her favour several times.
She watched him swallow before he asked,
"So you want to talk, discuss something?" his eyes didn't move an inch from her lips.
"I do." She whispered to him.
"Oh okay."
"But everything can wait for this..." she told him and pulled him to her with his tie.
He came willingly, as his lips turned into a smile and touched hers. His shirt collar was already open so she slid her hand in, lightly dragging it up to his neck until she could hold on to the hair at his nape. She caressed his scalp as he kissed her. The uneven temperatures of their skin excited her as she massaged his scalp.
Their lips and tongues tangled. Her ministrations seemed to fuel him, as he grabbed her waist and made her lay on her back. Lily was fired up as she let his chest cover her, the electricity between them was undeniable. She wrapped her other arm around his shoulders and pressed herself to him. He dragged his lips down her jaw to her neck. With the expertise he was manipulating her skin at all the right places, told her that he was no less than the master of the craft either. Which sent a thrill down her spine, making her arch into him. He took that as an invitation, because he opened two of the buttons of her shirt and caressed the top of her breasts with his lips. She grabbed his hair and pulled. He rose up to bite her collarbone. She moaned as she felt him coming up to kiss her again.
"Lily! Scorp! Come out. James is here." She heard her dad's voice calling for them.
The voice and the words had a really sobering effect on both of them. They stayed still, their eyes locked together. The electricity between them rolling off their bodies in waves. This was so new, and was totally spur of the moment for them. They have never even between attracted to each other. They had never touched like this, yet when the moment had come, it had felt so natural, that Lily couldn't believe that she hadn't fallen in his arms before this. Images of kissing in libraries, sneaking out of dorm to meet in secret, kisses under moonlight; all the times that they have been alone together over the years, and hadn't tried this, it just seemed like waste of opportunities now.
They reluctantly pulled away. When they rose up to sit beside one another again, they had a hard time breathing right. She reached up and put her hand on his shoulder, to soothe. He went a step further and grabbed her by the waist. She went to him willingly, her other hand going around his waist. He kissed her forehead and then pecked her on the lips.
"Yeah. Coming." He shouted for the people outside to not come in to investigate.
Then he lowered his voice to say, "How about we have that conversation in the evening once we are done with them. Then we... start where we left off."
She smiled at him and bit her lip.
"Do I have a choice?"
"Don't." He warned her. "Don't mess with my head when your brother is sitting outside, possibly coming up with ways to kill me and not get caught."
She touched his bruised cheek. "Don't worry. I will protect you. I wouldn't want you to not fulfil your promise for the evening... conversation." And winked.
He kissed her cheek and stood up. She reluctantly let him go.
She sat their combing her hair with her fingers, to seem like nothing untoward had been happening. He stood near the door waiting for her. When she was done. She stood up and went near him. He opened the door, and there he was.
James Sirius Potter.
