Like his other friends, Bill was enjoying Winter Break and being able to do his own thing without school breathing down his neck. Instead of being with Steven, Bill was in the house with his dad and his dog, Buster.

Unlike his friends, Bill was actually adopted by his current dad after his parents lost custody of him due to them being abusive towards him. Only Steven knew this information as he didn't like telling anyone about it. It didn't bother Bill that he only had a dad now because he thought his adoptive dad was awesome and cared deeply about him.

But one thing that did bother Bill was his size or how other people felt about his size. To put it simply, Bill was a big kid, bigger than most kids his age. He wasn't morbidly obese, but he was large, which made him a prime target for bullying. At first, the constant bullying made him want to cry and avoid everyone but after a while, he stopped letting it get under his skin. He knew the kids who were making fun of him were losers and they didn't deserve his attention. Not to mention, his size did have its advantages, as he could easily intimidate others if he wanted to. But he didn't want to have a scary reputation. He just wanted a friend he could trust. And that friend happened to be Steven.

When he met Steven, he didn't judge him at all over his size and actually found him cool. That's when he knew that he didn't just make a friend, he made a best friend. Ever since, he and Steven have done pretty much everything together and they cared and trusted each other deeply.

Now, Steven had a boyfriend in Jake, and Bill was really happy for him. He was never jealous as he never felt romantic feelings toward Steven, and he just wanted Steven to be happy. Plus, Bill wasn't interested in anyone romantically right now. Maybe he'll find love in high school, but romance was not on his mind right now.

Instead, chilling out in the nude was on his mind, as he was in his bed under the covers, so his dad didn't see that he was naked. He knew his dad probably wouldn't mind his nudity, but he really didn't want to have a painfully awkward conversation with him about the subject. Instead, he thought it was for the best that he told him nothing.

While in bed, Bill decided to take a nap because he didn't exactly have any plans today. Bill was a heavy sleeper which meant it took a quite bit to wake him up. Unfortunately, this meant that he wouldn't immediately notice if anything was wrong while he was sleeping. In this case, Buster thought it would be a good idea to pull the covers off Bill, leaving him completely exposed in the process.

Buster then got on the bed and proceeded to lick Bill's feet, which Bill didn't mind, as he found it ticklish. But while this was happening, Bill's dad knocked on the door before slowly opening it. And when he saw his son, he was surprised by the visual.

"Bill?" asked Bill's dad.

Bill didn't respond as he was still asleep. Bill's dad shooed Buster away from Bill and tapped Bill's shoulder, which got him to wake up.

"What is it, Dad?" Bill asked before he quickly realized he was naked in front of his father, which freaked him out, as he covered his crotch in a split-second.

"Dad, what are you doing in here?! Can't you knock?" Bill asked in a panic.

"I did knock, and you didn't respond," said Bill's dad.

"Well, I was sleeping, and you know how I sleep. I'm sorry you have to see me like this," said Bill.

"Son, it's okay. If you like sleeping naked, that's perfectly fine. Lots of people do it. It's natural." said Bill's dad.

"Thanks, but…since you're already here, can I ask you something?" asked Bill.

"Sure, son," said Bill's dad.

"Is it okay if I walk around the house in the nude? Casually?" asked Bill.

"I don't see a problem with it. As long as you don't take it too far and you know your limits," said Bill's dad.

"I know my limits," said Bill.

"Good. Now get out of bed. I want to show you something." said Bill's dad.

Bill got out of bed and followed his father to his bedroom, feeling a little weird but he knew the feeling would go away over time. Once in his father's room, Bill watched his dad show him what was on his PC.

"Is that Toys "R" Us?" asked Bill.

"Yep. I'm allowing you to pick out one early Christmas present from here. As long as it doesn't bankrupt me." said Bill's dad.

"Really?" asked Bill.

"Really. You've been my son for over a year now and while I couldn't give you a great Christmas last year because everything was so hectic, I want to make it up to you this year," said Bill's dad.

Bill hugged his dad without a second thought and said, "Thank you. You're the best dad ever."

"And you're the best son ever," said Bill's dad.

Once Bill let go of his father, he looked at the website for a bit before he figured out what he wanted for Christmas.

"I want a Nintendo DS Lite," said Bill.

"Good choice," said Bill's dad, who quickly purchased the Nintendo handheld.

And for the rest of the day, Bill hung out with his dad and felt very comfortable in his own skin.
