Ever since Liko, a young girl from Paldea who started attending Indigo Academy in Kanto, received a special pendant from her grandmother, Diana, her life has been turned upside down!
First, she was almost attacked by this group calling themselves the Explorers, and would have ended up in a bad situation if not for Freide, the leader of the Rising Volt Tacklers! Thanks to Friede and his Charizard, Liko, and her partner Pokemon, Sprigatito, we're saved from the Explorers!
Despite everything that happened to her, she felt a spark ignite inside of her like nothing ever before. She felt the call of adventure and decided to join the Rising Volt Tacklers, who had been assigned to protect her by her mother.
Now Liko wonders if that was a good idea, since not only was she looking at a angry black Rayquaza, who came out of an old looking pokeball that belonged to a boy named Roy, but she also ended up in the crosshairs of the Explorers again!
The black Rayquaza did not look happy to see her and instead decided to use Draco meteor on everyone!
"Sprigatito!"shouted Liko, who tried to protect her partner Pokemon with her body.
It was in that moment that Liko's pendant began glowing, and a mysterious power enveloped her. The black Rayquaza quickly noticed this and charged towards Liko!
"Liko!"shouted Freide before he and his Charizard tried to fly towards the girl.
Unfortunately for him, as soon as he did that, a huge glowing light enveloped Liko, Sprigatito, the black Rayquaza, and anything else that was in proximity! A moment later, the light dissipated. And anyone that was in range was no longer where they were standing.
It was like they were never there in the first place!
"Liko!"shouted Friede, wondering where the girl went.
"My ancient pokeball!"said Roy, noticing that the pokeball that he was holding, the one that once contained the black Rayquaza, was gone as well.
"What in the name of Arceus just happened?"wondered Amethio, an admin for the Explorers!
He and his two underlings Onia and Zirc had seen the whole thing, but they could hardly believe it.
Little did any of them know that Liko and Sprigatito had just been sent to a place where she would be safe, or would she?
After all, she was about to end up in a world full of superheroes and supervillains!
And she was about to meet a grumpy Dark Knight!

Meanwhile, Liko and Sprigatito found themselves in a dark place. Liko was immediately frightened, so Sprigatito quickly jumped into her arms to calm her down. Liko felt safe with her partner Pokemon by her side. So she was able to come down enough to try to look for a light switch.
A moment later, Liko managed to find the light switch, and when she turned it on, what she saw next certainly surprised her!
Liko immediately found herself in some kind of cave, but it was clearly not an uninhabited cave. The cave is clearly filled with man-made objects like platforms and walkways. It also had a variety of vehicles that Liko didn't recognize. She also spotted what appeared to be a giant joker card, some kind of huge metal coin with a man on the front, and what appeared to be some strange looking Tyrantrum.
"Sprigatito, where are we?"wondered Liko, who felt extremely scared.
One moment, she was on a beach being attacked by the Explorers and a black Rayquaza, and the next moment, she was in someone kind of cave you would see in a comic book! Liko was not sure what to do at that moment, as she was extremely frightened.
"We need to find a way out of this cave and meet up with the others!"said Liko, who quickly tried to find a way out of the cave.
As she was looking around, a pair of white eyes was watching her from the shadows. Liko was oblivious to the fact she was being watched, mainly because she was too busy trying to find a way out.
"Oh! Where do I go?!"wondered Liko before she took a few steps back.
As soon as she did that, she felt like she had hit something. Liko at first thought it was the wall since it was so hard, but as she felt it, she noticed it felt more like the torso of a living being than a wall. Liko then nervously looked up to see an intimidating site!
Just behind her was a tall man wearing a scary looking costume! His black cowl covered a majority of his face, except for his lower half. The cowl had two bumps for his ears, along with pointy looking fake years that made him look like some kind of monster. On his back was a long black tape that went all the way down to the floor. On his torso was a full body black suit covered with interlock plate black armor. On his waist with some kind of yellow belt filled with all kinds of items. And on his chest was some kind of Zubat symbol.
Liko looked at the man with great fear, as Sprigatito growled at him, likely trying to intimidate him so that he got away from Liko!
Unfortunately for the grass cat Pokemon and her trainer, the man was not intimidated.
"What are you doing in my cave?"inquired the man with a scary sounding voice.
"I...I...I promise I'm not an intruder or anything! I was on a beach a moment ago, and a black Rayquaza attacked me. That's when this pendant given to me by my grandmother started glowing, and I found myself here!"said Liko, who looked like she was on the verge of crying.
This did not appear to phase the man in the scary costume, as he simply grabbed the pendant with his gloved 6 began inspecting it.
"Who are you?"inquired the scary looking man.
"My name is Liko! And may I ask who you are?"inquired the girl, hoping she wasn't being disrespectful to the scary man.
"I'm Batman."simply said the guy called Batman.
"That's a wonderful name..."said Liko, who honestly found the name a little scary.
"So you're saying this pendant brought you to my lair?"inquired Batman, who was scanning the pendant and found some strange energy surrounding it.
"Yes, sir."quickly answered Liko, who was still very scared.
Why wouldn't she be when the man in front of her was extremely tall and scary looking. She barely reached the lower part of his chest. Sprigatito, on the other hand, was trying to figure out if she should attack this mysterious man so that both her and her trainer could escape!
"And who is that green cat with you?"inquired Batman, who noticed Sprigatito.
"This is my partner Pokemon, Sprigatito."said Liko, holding up the grass cat Pokemon as she said that.
"Look. I don't know where you came from, or how you got in the batcave..."said Batman before an alarm went off in the batcave.
Batman quickly grabbed Liko by her wrist and brought her over to the bat computer. He then looked up the screen where he saw a black serpentine dragon flying through the streets of Gotham.
"That's the black Rayquaza that attacked me!"said Liko, quickly recognizing the creature as the black Rayquaza.
"So you know what that creature is?"said Batman, making Liko nod her head.
"Then you're coming with me."said Batman before he picked up Liko like a princess and began taking her to the batmobile.
Liko, meanwhile, was blushing nervously, as this was the first time she's ever been princess carried. She could feel Batman strong muscles and could tell right away he was very strong! Sprigatito, on the other hand, was not liking the way her trainer was being dragged around and figured she should do something about this rude man. But before she had a chance to do anything, she and Liko were strapped into the batmobile's passenger seat.
"You tell me everything you know about that dragon, and I'll deal with it."said Batman, as he got in the driver's seat.
"Liko was about to say something, but she couldn't because Batman quickly drove the batmobile out of the batcave. Liko had never gone so fast in a vehicle before, and in that moment, she closed her eyes and held Sprigatito close to her person.
A moment later she felt the vehicle slow down, and that's when she opened her eyes again to see that they were now outside..She also saw that she was no longer on the island she was a moment earlier, but instead in some City she did not recognize.
"What in the name of Arceus happened to me?"wondered Liko while Batman continued driving to where the black Rayquaza was.
Little did any of them know is that they were being watched by some kind of Pokemon, who is paying particular attention to Batman.
I was trying to write a Batman story that was centered around pokémon, but I came up with zilch!
That was until I get a binge watch of the new Pokemon Horizons anime, which you guys should totally check out if you haven't checked it out yet. It's awesome and I love the story arc. Anyway, I decided to do a story where instead of Batman going to the Pokemon world, the Pokemon world comes to Batman!
And who better than the new main protagonist Liko!
Now the story is going to be Bruce Wayne x Liko, and I don't want to hear any complaints! This is fanfiction people, and fanfiction romance should be allowed to be explored on a fanfiction website!
Now, before you ask, yes Batman will get a full team of Pokemon. I'm not sure if I'm going to give him a bat themed Pokemon yet, cuz I want to save it for another fanfiction...But we'll see where the story goes.
Next chapter Batman will officially face the black Rayquaza. Will he be able to stand up to the mighty legendary Pokemon of Lucius? And who is the Pokemon looking at Batman with an interested look! And how did this Pokemon end up near the batcave?
All of these questions answered in the next chapter... maybe. I like to leave you guys with some suspense.
