A year later 1982

It was October and all were present at Potter Manor except Bill who was at Hogwarts.

Currently two of the 9 year olds were dancing around for their birthdays which was still 2 months away but they had been promised a combined birthday so they didn't care.

Although they were a trio everybody could see how close Charlie and Lyra were. Remus even joked to Sirius and the Weasley parents about how they should start planning the wedding. The Weasley parents just laughed it off while Sirius glared daggers at Charlie which in turn caused Remus to laugh and Harry and Ron to stare at all three.

While all this no one noticed Ginny walking slowly towards Charlie.

She went to Charlie and said "up". She had not yet spoken anything other than 'Mama' 'Dada' 'up' 'down' and because of Sirius 'Paddy'. Ginny calling Sirius paddy was not missed by Harry who himself started calling him that or better 'Unca Paddy'.

Charlie picked his little sister up who looked at Lyra and said 'Ly' she couldn't pronounce the r sound yet but she tried with Charlie's assisstance but ended up with 'Lia' which Lyra seemed to like and said only Ginny, Harry and Ron and maybe the twins could call her that seeing Charlie's mischievous look.

The Weasley kids were all very close to Lyra and Tonks. The twins and Ginny adored Tonks and always ask her to change her hair colour.

Lyra was Ginny's favourite cause she always played with her and scolded her brothers. The twins loved her cause she helped the pull pranks. And Bill had become another brother to her.

While Ron was a bit shy he still came to her when wanted to play.

Harry and Lyra were very close. Harry wouldn't let Lyra go without him anywhere and Lyra absolutely adored Harry.

Even at the age of 2 Harry was smart. He understood that his parents weren't with him anymore. He didn't mind he had his Unca Paddy, Unca Moony, Aunty Andy, Unca Ted and Unca Reg at home. And at the Weasleys he had his Aunty Molly (which came out as moi) and Unca Arther(which came out as Ather)

He still struggled with his R's and L's but he was getting better. He still called Ron Won though. Which everyone thought was funny.

Skip to December 16, 1982

Charlie and Lyra's combined birthday celebration had finally come. Both of them had matched each other's dresses and Tonks matched her hair to them.

She was also supposed to be matching them but she claimed that she didn't want to intrude in their party and instead would match her hair to them. The first comment earned her a punch from Lyra and a hit on the head from Charlie.

The twins were also matching each other. Even at the age of 4 they could caused havoc in the house. Remus claimed it was the influence of Sirius.

Harry hadn't left Lyra's side the whole day and was eager to give her his gift. Ginny also refused to leave Charlie's side so Harry and Ginny ended up playing with each other for the whole day.

This again made Remus tell the Weasley parents and Sirius about another wedding. But really they did look so cute together that even Arthur melted at the sight, who looked put out about his daughter marrying someone.

Just then they saw Lyra chasing Charlie.

"Ok what happened?" asked Remus

"He called me Lia. Only the kids can call me that" said Lyra

"But I am a kid so I can call you that" said Charlie smirking

Lyra biting back a smile pretended to look annoyed.

The adults just laughed at them while Sirius rolled his eyes.

Lyra's actual birthday came next.

Today Charlie and Lyra were staying at Potter Manor for the whole day.

Tonks couldn't stay as she had gone to her father's family reunion, grudgingly.

When Charlie arrived at Potter Manor he looked around to see Sirius and Remus in deep thought.

"Hey! Where is the birthday girl?"

They said her room so he went upstairs into her room.

He immediately rushed in to room at the sight in front him. He saw Lyra crying sitting on her window sill holding a small canvas.

He hugged her while she continued to cry.

"They...they said that Lily and James left me a gift for my 10 birthday. It was a painting Lily made for me when she was pregnant with Harry. And then it clicked that... that she was pregnant with another baby when she died. She had told me that this painting would be her gift for me when she had another baby"

She continued to cry as Charlie rubbed her back tears in his own eyes.

"How would Harry react when he learns this in the future?" she asked.

"He will get through it. We will make sure he does. I know everyone else will too. I don't know how I would have reacted if it was my sibling probably mourned for years. But this is different he didn't have his parents or the baby near him for that long"

She nodded and the two of them fell asleep holding each other.
