CHAPTER 2

From Gallia to Pantala

Gallia-a southwestern country in Tellius known by many to be the warm, climated home of the Beast Tribe Laguz. The Beast Tribe Laguz–consisting of cats, tigers, lions, and the forgotten Hatari wolves, used their sharp claws and mighty fangs in battle while shifted into their respective forms. While the mighty Gallian Lion King Caineghis ruled over the Gallian cats and tigers with his nephew Skrimir and his shadow Giffca, the wolves were ruled in the lost land of Hatari by the Wolf Queen of whitened fur, Nailah.

As Caineghis was busy talking to Skrimir and Giffca, he had received a letter from someone. Caineghis opened it up, and read this:

Dear Caineghis, Mighty Lion King of Gallia,

Hear my strong draconic words from the land of Pantala. We are being attacked by people claiming to be from the hu–I mean, beorc country of Daein. We have blacklisted them from our lands due to their racist means towards the laguz that we have heard about. As Daein people have entered our lands, I, the mighty HiveWing Queen Jewel, have been working tirelessly with the SilkWing Queen Monarch and the LeafWing Queen Sequoia to exterminate them. But now that we have confirmation that the people may be releasing the wicked HiveWing Wasp from the flamesilk factory, we are fearing for our lives; Sequoia is now fearing for her great-granddaughter, Princess Hazel. And now we have Sundew fearing for her parents Belladonna and Hemlock.

Caineghis, hear me out. We need your country's help. We have always trusted the beasts of the laguz changelings. If you can help us exterminate Daein, it would be grateful.

Caineghis quickly gathered his beast soldiers.

When the beast soldiers were gathered around Caineghis, Giffca was the one to speak out about Pantala and the terrorism from Daein's beorc.

"We have never trusted Daein's beorc, have we?" asked the cat laguz Lethe.

"Mordecai say Lethe is right." said the tiger Mordecai. "Mordecai don't like Daein's nastiest people."

"Listen well, we must march to Pantala." Caineghis proclaimed. "Queen Jewel of the HiveWings has written to us, asking for our help in restoring the continent."

"It's best we go right now if Jewel is desperate of our needs." the blue cat laguz Ranulf said.

"I'm leaving all the people not going in charge of my throne." said Caineghis. "I can't leave it abandoned for that long."

"We're ready whenever you are, King Caineghis." Lethe's twin sister Lyre said.

Caineghis nodded, and shifted into his mighty lion form.

"Alright." said Skrimir. "We're off!"

Everyone later shifted into their animal forms. Off to Pantala the Beast Tribe Laguz went!

Back in Pantala in the flamesilk factory, Wasp was speaking with the Daein people. There, the beorc of Daein were getting ready to release the wicked Wasp into Pantala lands to assist with their terrorism to Pantala. Her sisters Yellowjacket and Cicada were watching everything unfold.

"Sister!" yelled Cicada.

"What?!" asked Wasp.

"Can we go with you?" asked Yellowjacket.

Wasp thought twice. "NO!" she yelled. Wasp later flew away with the Daein people who were releasing her.

Jewel had just gotten word that Wasp was released. Disappointed as she was, Jewel hoped that Gallia's beast laguz would arrive soon.

"The terrorism will get worse, huh?" asked Sequoia.

"I bet it will now that Wasp is released." answered Jewel with a sigh.

"Well, now what do we do?" asked the LeafWing Sundew.

"Sundew, go check on Hazel." ordered Queen Sequoia.

"Yes, my queen." said Sundew.

"We shall not back down when it comes to the former HiveWing queen working with outlanders." said Sequoia.

"You really have a point, Sequoia." said Monarch as she arrived unannounced.

"Ah, Monarch, when'd you get here so quickly?" asked Jewel.

"The Beast Tribe Laguz of Gallia are on their way." said Monarch.

"Very well, then." Sequoia said. "I'll go greet them."

"And send them to me once you find them!" yelled Jewel.

"I will!" yelled Sequoia.
