CHAPTER 3

Welcoming the Gallian Beasts

When Caineghis and his beast soldiers settled in Pantala, Sequoia, Queen of the LeafWings, was already there waiting for them. Lethe was shocked about how big the LeafWings were.

"Laguz of Gallian lands, welcome to Pantala, the lost continent." said Sequoia. "As you are here on orders of the HiveWing Queen Jewel, please consider seeing her."

"You must be the great Queen of the LeafWings, Sequoia." said Caineghis. "I am King Caineghis of the Beast Tribe Laguz of Gallia. We are, in fact, here on Queen Jewel's noted order."

"I will guide you through Pantala to the great Jewel Hive." said Seqouia.

Caineghis later ordered his beast soldiers to shift into their beast forms. Once done, Sequoia later flew away to Jewel Hive, where Queen Jewel of the HiveWings was. Caineghis and his beasts–transformed into their beast states–all ran to catch up to the LeafWing Queen Sequoia.

When everyone reached Jewel Hive, Queen Jewel was already there waiting for the group. She welcomed the beasts of Gallia to Pantalan lands, hoping they could help restore the continent from the antagonistic humanoid beorc of Daein. Everyone else remained in their beast form while Caineghis shifted back to his humanoid form.

"You must be King Caineghis, the mighty Lion King of Gallia, I am assuming?" asked Queen Jewel.

"Yes, yes I am." said King Caineghis. "My faithful beasts of Gallia will assist you in restoring Pantala's lands."

"Very well, then." said Queen Jewel.

"We are looking forward to the help." said Queen Monarch of the SilkWing tribe.

Ranulf later shifted back to his humanoid form, asking the three dragon queens where Wasp was being kept.

"The Daein beorc are keeping hold of Queen Wasp of the HiveWing tribe." said Queen Monarch of the SilkWings. "Where exactly is a good question."

"Yeah…talk about being disrespectful to the dragon tribes of the lands of Pantala." said Queen Sequoia.

"Sequoia, I'm pretty sure that Caineghis and his Gallian beast soldiers can save our tribes from the Daein beorc from their world." said Queen Monarch.

As Caineghis said that he and his men would do everything they could for Pantala's dragons, more dragons interfered with the group. Sundew, a female LeafWing dragonet and the LeafWing daughter of Belladonna and Hemlock, wanted to know what was going on with her queen. Hazel, Sequoia's six-year-old great-granddaughter SapWing member and the Princess of the LeafWings, was accompanied with Sundew along with SilkWing couple Luna and Swordtail.

"Dragons, we have told you not to interfere!" yelled Sequoia.

"I'm sorry, Great-Grandmother Sequoia." said Hazel. "We just came to see if the Beast Tribe Laguz of Gallia have arrived yet."

"Um…yes." said Ranulf. "We have arrived."

Hazel turned to Ranulf.

"Oh, hello." said Hazel. "My name is Hazel LeafWing Princess and member of the SapWing division of LeafWings."

"Hazel's only six years old, but she has a lot to learn from me if she's going to be the next Queen of LeafWings." said Sequoia.

SilkWings Luna and Swordtail introduced themselves with Sundew.

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you." said Caineghis.

Giffca, the shadow of the king of Gallia, shifted back into his humanoid form while Caineghis was talking with the dragons he was meeting up with. He later walked over to his king with Skrimir, the king's nephew, who was still in Beast form.

"What is it?" asked Caineghis to Giffca.

"Look up." said Giffca.

Caineghis later looked up.

"I don't see anything." said Caineghis.

A HiveWing swooped down, almost hitting Caineghis. A SilkWing and two LeafWings were also accompanied with the HiveWing.

"I'm sorry, I didn't watch where I was going." said the HiveWing Cricket.

"Cricket, please!" said Belladonna the LeafWing. "You don't know if these bloody beasts are on the bloody side of Daein!"

"They're not, Mother." said Sundew.

"Sundew!" yelled Belladonna.

"Enough!" yelled Hemlock the LeafWIng. "Now, please, I am assuming you are the Beast Tribe Laguz of Gallia." said Hemlock to the beasts of Gallia.

"We are the beasts of Gallia, indeed." said Ranulf. "I am Ranulf, right hand to the nation's future king."

"Yes…like I see you accompanied with that lion right there." said Hemlock. "Oh, well, not that much to worry since Wasp hasn't arrived yet. I am Hemlock. This is my mate Belladonna." Hemlock said as he introduced himself and Belladonna to the beast laguz.

"Pleasure to meet you, Hemlock." said Giffca. "My name is Giffca, right hand man and the shadow to King Caineghis of the Gallian nation."

"Pleasure to meet you all." said Caineghis.

"So they're the ones helping us with Pantala's beorc crisis?" asked Cricket. "Or…..that's what I have been…..hearing….."

"Yes, Cricket." said Jewel. "The Beasts of Gallia are going to help us Dragons of Pantala."

"Then we're on this side then." said Belladonna. "I cannot have my daughter harmed by Daein's beorc."

"Same thing with my SilkWing daughter Luna." said Admiral of the SilkWings.

"So…shall we hunt down Queen Wasp?" asked Caineghis.

Lethe and Lyre, still in cat forms, hissed.

"I guess the hisses of the cats means yes." said Hemlock.

"Let's go!" yelled Hazel.

"Hazel, wait!" yelled Sequoia. "...She must be excited for her battle."

"She's been wanting the Daein Beorc gone she had told me." said Queen Monarch.
