Chapter Ten: Epilogue

Kagome walked out of her large hut that was only about twenty-five feet away from where the Goshinboku is. She is wearing her miko robes that she aquired a while ago. She looked into the distance and saw her husband and mate with their three children.

The half yokai, half human twins were playing and giggling as they were tugging on Inuyasha's ears. They are five years old and both very strong. Inuyasha and Kagome noticed about a year ago that little Izayoi had miko powers. The first in history that they know of to be a miko hanyou. Kagome started training her daughter to be able to use her powers and control them properly. Inuyasha has been helping little Kenzo with his attacks. He is turning out to be a very strong little fighter. Kagome did forbid her children from fighting unless absolutely necessary and to stay behind their parents whenever danger approached.

The third little pup is a boy. He is a quarter yokai and he is two years old. He is currently laying relaxed in Inuyasha's lap, staring intently up at his fathers face. Opposite to his siblings who have long hair, he has very short hair. It is black but with a few streaks of white down the sides. His eyes are beautiful. He has one amber eye and one brown eye. Instead of having two doggie ears on top of his head like his older siblings, he has very normal looking human ears on the side of his head.

Kagome stopped in her tracks as she remembered her conversation with Midoriko five years ago. She felt an insane hit of déjà vu when she looked at the scene before her. She realized in this moment that Midoriko didn't just show her what could be her future, she actually showed her a piece of her future. An exact moment in time that she was going to live through.

She wiped the stray tear from her face and continued to walk towards her husband and children.

They visit Kagome's family in the future at least once a month. She hangs out with her friends and covers up her childrens yokai features whenever they go out. They actually found out about two months after the twins were born that Shippo was now able to transend time with them. She figured Midoriko knew about him being their adoptive son and gave him access as well. They were all so happy the day they found that out, and Kagome's mother thought Shippo was so adorable. Souta loved hanging out with a kid yokai and showed Shippo all his video games and toys. Gramps warmed up to this new life a lot quicker then anyone thought he would. They really are a big happy family.

Sango and Miroku had a family of their own now. They first had twin girls that go by the names Kin'u and Gyokuto. Their baby boys' name is Hisui.

Sesshomaru and Kagura had twins of their own. The two girls names are Towa and Setsuna. They are already proving to be an amazing addition to the Inu family.

Sesshomaru wasn't happy with his adoptive daughter Rin, when she told him she fell in love with Sango's little brother Kohaku. But finally, he gave them his blessing and now that Rin is sixteen and considered an adult, he allowed her to live in the village with Kohaku. They are already talking about marriage and starting a family of their own. Sesshomaru, Kagura and their twins visit the village every few weeks or so. Always with a new kimono for their adoptive daughter.

Kagome received a visit from Koga and Ayame a few times the last couple years. The two ookami yokai also have had children of their own. Two sets of triplets. One set of girls and one set of boys. The girls names are Aki, Akari and Aiko. The boys' names are Akihito, Akito and Akihiko. Inuyasha and Koga shook hands a couple years ago when Koga showed up with his own mate. Kagome was so proud of her mate and husband for the mature man he turned out to be.

Kagome stepped up to her mate under the Goshinboku and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright, Izayoi and Kenzo. I think your father has had enough of his ears being tugged on."

"Awwwwee."

Kagome picked up her two five year old twins and held one in each arm. Inuyasha stood up with the baby boy and smiled at her.

"You alright there, Kagome? The pups are getting kind of heavy."

"We are NOT pups!" The twins yelled in unison.

Inuyasha ruffled their hair and scratched behind their ears. They immediately forgot about what was happening and started to pur.

"You know Inuyasha, I told you years ago that you pur. And now our children are doing it."

"Keh.."

Kagome snickered at the oh so Inuyasha like comment and started walking towards the village.

"Where are we going, Kagome? The hut is that way." He points in the opposite direction.

"Sango and Miroku said they can watch the kids and Shippo is going to play with them. I figured you would want some alone time.. but if not.. I guess we can -" She was cut off with Inuyasha nipping her on the neck and letting out a soft growl.

"Let's go, Koibito."

Kagome giggled at Inuyasha's eagerness and followed him to Sango and Miroku's hut.

They dropped off the kids and after Miroku gave them some not so decent comments about why they want some time alone and Sango yelling at her lecherous husband once again, they left their friends' hut and Inuyasha picked Kagome up bridal style to run straight to their own hut.

When they made it to the front entrance of the hut, he let her down on her feet and led her in behind him by the hand. As soon as they got inside, he spun around and captured her lips to his. He backed her up against the wall and pressed his body to hers. She could feel his obvious erection through his Hakama and it stirred something warm and tingly within her.

Inuyasha chuckled against her lips and when he pulled away, he whispered into her ear, "you smell nice."

Kagome blushed and then laughed at herself for still being able to blush when he says things like that.

"Do you remember the first time you said that to me, Inuyasha?"

"How could I forget? We barely knew each other back then. I turned human for the first time in front of anyone and you proved how much I could trust you. When I almost died to the spiderheads, you cried for me. I had never had anyone cry for me before. Who knew back then that we would be right here, right now?" He put his clawed hand behind her head and pulled her in for another kiss.

When they broke apart again, she responded. "I didn't know we would end up in this spot. But I did know how much I already cared for you. It wasn't too long after that when I admitted to myself that I fell in love with you. We have been through so much and now we get to spend forever together. I love you more than anything. Thank you, Inuyasha. Thank you for being mine."

"Thank you, Kagome. I love you so much. Thank you for forgiving me for everything stupid I ever did. Thank you for believing in me and staying by my side. Thank you for forgiving me for the biggest mistake of my life. I am still so so sorry about what happened almost six years ago. I know I'll never be able to take that back, but I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you."

A tear ran down her face at those words. It's true, she never forgot that night. The night that felt like hell. But she forgave him a long time ago and they definitely came back from it and became closer to each other then ever before.

She put a hand to his cheek, gave him a chaste kiss on the lips and responded. "I forgave you a long time ago, Inuyasha. And I think about it this way, if that night never happened, then we wouldn't have our beautiful twins. We might not even have our baby boy. Who knows where we would be right now, so even though I endured a ton of pain and suffering during and after that night. I don't regret a thing. Because without that night, I wouldn't have what I have right now."

Inuyasha pinned Kagome back against the wall of the hut and captured her lips to his again. This time he put as much passion and love as he could into the kiss. He lightly licked her lips and she opened her mouth for him to enter.

Their tongues are fighting each other for dominance until Inuyasha let out a dominant growl. Kagome immediately submitted to his warning and allowed him to win the war. He smiled against her lips as he lifted her up off the ground.

Kagome's legs are wrapped around his waist as their lips never part. He carries her to their room and lays her down on the large cot with him on top. He pulls away from her lips in order to lick, kiss and nibble on her mating mark on her neck.

Her moans and cries are causing him to get more aggressive with his mouth. He takes his claws and swipes her Miko robes right off of her.

"Inuyasha!"

He pulls away from her neck to smirk down at her mostly naked body. "What? You have spares."

"Yeah. Because you keep destroying them! Do you try to get me angry with you?"

"Well, you are very cute when you're angry." He leans in to speak huskily into her ear and said, "and it's a real turn on."

The spike in her scent told him he was no longer in trouble. He quickly pulled off his Suikan and Obi, then his Hadagi and Hakama. Then he took his claws once again and swiped off her bra and underwear.

"Inuyasha! I'm running out of my modern undergarments!"

"We'll just get more when we go back. Now be quiet."

She growled at him when he told her to be quiet and he returned her growl with one of his own. She immediately shut up and allowed him to continue what he was doing before.

He recaptured her lips with his own and plunged his tongue deep into her mouth. Her moans are like music to his furry ears. She wraps her arms around his back and then lifts her right hand to tweak his left ear. He purrs at her touch.

Inuyasha lightly scrapes his claws down her body, not enough to injure her but enough to get her moaning out his name against his lips. He reaches her womanhood and starts to rub circles around the small nub that holds her most lecherous desires.

After a few minutes of this, Kagome feels herself get too close to her release. She pulls Inuyasha away from her lips by the back of his hair and looks into his amber gaze.

"Inu.. please."

"Please what, Koibito?"

Kagome growls in annoyance. Her hanyou just loves to hear her tell him exactly what she wants.

"Please.. f-fuck me Inu."

As soon as she spoke those dirty words to him, he aligned himself to her entrance and thrust in as deep as he could go. Kagome yelled out in extacy at feeling his large hardened member enter her in such an intimate way.

Inuyasha leaned in and bit her neck, leaving another one of his 'love bites.' These marks are much more feint then their original mating marks and they only stay visible for a few months before they completely fade and then he just leaves more.

He starts to thrust in and out slowly and sensually, enjoying every second of feeling her moist center around him. His ears are twitching and listening to each and every one of her moans and cries.

Inuyasha captures her lips again and then starts to pick up the pace. He moans against her lips as he feels her move her hips with his in perfect rhythm.

He pulls away from her lips to look into her chocolate eyes. "K-Kagome. C-can we make another pup?"

Kagome looked up at him with wide eyes and then she smiled. "Y-yes Inuyasha."

At her permission, he sped up to only the speed in which a yokai could possibly reach. He held onto her hips to keep her still as he pounded into her as fast as he can.

He slammed his lips back onto hers as he felt both of their releases approaching. Both of them are moaning and whining against each other until they both came together.

Kagome's walls tightened around Inuyasha's member and milked him for everything he has. He released more of his hanyou seed into her awaiting womb in order to continue to grow their family.

Inuyasha slowed down his thrusts until he came to a complete stop. He pulled away from her lips and lightly kissed her neck before laying down next to her and pulling her into his chest.

Kagome is laying on her right side now with Inuyasha's arm around her and his hand rubbing circles along her abdomen. His face is resting in the crook of her neck and they are both breathing in each others scents.

Inuyasha turns Kagome's head to face him. Chocolate meets amber and they smile at each other with more love in their hearts then ever before, if that was even possible.

"I love you, Kagome."

"I love you too, Inuyasha."

He leaned in slowly for one final kiss of the night before they settled into a comfortable cuddle and let sleep overtake them. They smiled contently, knowing that for the rest of their lives, they will have each other.
