This is Part III of the New Years Special. Last time, Darkblood and company began their attack on Nanda Parbat. Dick Grayson, the new Deadman, attempted to use those powers to stop the attack by possessing Darkblood. But, it didn't work and Enchantress used a technique of Tala's to banish Dick Grayson not only from Darkblood's body, but from this entire realm, sending him into the depths of Hell before they can get any intel out of him. So, what's going to happen next? Read on to discover...

(Our tale resumes only an hour or two after Armageddon's assault on Nanda Parbat. Everybody is still licking their metaphorical wounds, and Blaze is currently speaking with John Constantine.)

Blaze: We have to get to Dick Grayson. The Deadman is still necessary to seeing this madness end peacefully.

John Constantine: Trust me, Blaze. I'm with you. But without knowing exactly where Enchantress sent him, we'd have to scan all nine rings of Hell, and that could take ages!

Blaze: Surely there's a way to speed up the search!

John Constantine: (Thinks about it.) There is, but we'd need somebody on the caliber of Nabu to pull it off!

Blaze: What about Belial? Do you think he's equivalent?

John Constantine: You're asking the wrong guy. I've only known him for about a fortnight. But then again, he is the son of a god, so... maybe? If he's got somebody backing him up, almost certainly.

Blaze: Then go get him. I figure you and maybe Zatanna backing him up should do it.

John Constantine: (Opens a portal to the Tower of Fate) Here's hoping.

(As John Constantine steps through his portal, closing it behind him, Batman steps up to Blaze)

Blaze: Bruce, I know you're about to go insulting me for getting Dick trapped in Hell, but we don't have time to argue about it. It was his idea to try that, so if you want to hell at anyone, yell at him once we find him. Right now, I just need to coordinate efforts to finding him. So you just take the rest of the team and go back to tracking Brainiac.

Batman: I'm coming with you.

(At this point, Blaze has some reservations, but realizes she has no time to argue about any of this, and just relents)

Blaze: (Sighs) Fine.

(As soon as this wraps up, John Constantine returns, this time with Zatanna and Belial Aether)

Belial Aether: Heard we had a spiritual situation to attend to.

Blaze: Indeed we do. (To John Constantine) Did you get them caught up?

John Constantine: Everybody knows we're looking for Dick Grayson in Hell, yes.

Belial Aether: Let's see if we can't make the search a bit easier.

(Wasting no time, Belial Aether summons his magic and casts it into a map of DC's Hell, which John Constantine augments with his magic, casting in Dick Grayson's energy signature primarily. Then Zatanna readies her wand and points it at the energy map)

Zatanna: Etacol Eht Namdaed, Kcid Nosyarg!

(And it seems the trio's magic is just enough to get the spell to work, and soon enough, they have Dick Grayson's location narrowed down to the City of Dis of all places)

John Constantine: There we go. Looks like he's stuck in the City of Dis. No idea why Enchantress's spell sent him there, it's been abandoned for nearly a thousand years!

Blaze: No time to question it, we have to get moving. (To Red Hood) Get the others back to base, Jason. We'll go see if we can't rescue Dick.

Red Hood: On it.

(John Constantine opens a portal for them back to Legion HQ for Red Hood and the rest, and then once their through, opens up another portal for the remainder, one straight to Hell.)

John Constantine: Well, all out for the City of Dis.

(Little hesitation in their step, Blaze and company step through John Constantine's portal, ending up right in the center of the City of Dis. But we don't spend much time with them, instead transitioning back to the Nameless City, where Darkblood, Enchantress, and Armageddon have just returned.)

Enchantress: Darkblood, you haven't said anything since we left Nanda Parbat. What's going on?

Darkblood: It's the whole situation with that Grayson kid.

Enchantress: He won't bother us again, he's trapped permanently in Hell.

Darkblood: Do you want to bet on that with Blaze and her cadre of fighters?

Enchantress: (Almost forgetting John Constantine was on the team of their enemies, and remembering there's others) Good point.

Darkblood: It seems to me we should ensure your little trick worked. Get us to the location Grayson was banished to. Stat.

Enchantress: On it.

(And with that, Darkblood and Enchantress step through a portal into Hell as well, on the opposite side of the City of Dis as their opponents, as our tale ends for today)

Admittedly, not much really going on here, just both the good guys and the bad guys setting off to either rescue Dick Grayson from his confinement in Hell or make sure said thing doesn't happen. But that's honestly because I had to get everybody into this environment for something else to come up. Another character I've been meaning to introduce and found a way to introduce by using this stuck in Hell thing. More on that as things go on, though I'm guessing Null already knows who I'm talking about. Anyways, it's a race across the City of Dis to find Dick Grayson before something horrible can happen.
