Chapter 68 – Finally At Home

Ines was in the hangar of the Jedi Temple, nervously waiting for Slave 1 to arrived.

The moment Boba, Fennec and Luke left Geonosis and head back to Coruscant, that they had to sent a scripted message to inform them that everything went well, but also that nobody outside would know what and who were send it.

With her at the moment was also Leia and Han. Of course the wanted to be there to hug their son right away and also with them was Ahsoka, Din and Grogu and Cobb. Apparently once everything was okay and back to normal with Luke, they decided it was for the best to leave right away, just in case. The last thing they needed was for Thrawn had any suspicious that Boba was involved in all of that. They still needed him.

"What time it is?" Han asked.

"5 minutes from the last time you asked that again," Ines said looking at him.

"Sorry but I want to have my son in my arms."

"I also want to have my daughter too but asking every 5 minutes will not make them arrive sooner. Just relax, they will be here pretty soon."

Han sighed and nod and Ines glare and Leia.

"And I thought you were the one who would be like that."

"You know. Men," Leia replied making the two sisters in law laughed.

Since they found out they were returning with the kids, Leia and Ines were more relax and smile and laughed more.

The Jedi Temple hangar door opened and the Slave 1 entered and landed a few minutes later. Once the door opened and the ramp touched the ground, Ines and Leia took a deep breath and a big smile appeared on their faces when they kids appeared holding Luke's hands.

The moment they saw their mothers, the kids ran towards them, while Leia and Ines did the same, picking up their kids and kissing them non stop.

"Mama," Padmé and Ani said at the same time.

"Oh my sweet girl," Ines said holding her daughter tightly in her arms.

"Sweetie, mama loves you so much. Are you okay?" Leia asked her son, kissing his cheeks over and over again.

"Yeah. Uncle Luke brought us back."

"Yeah, and Ezra too" Padmé said looking at her mother.

"What did you say sweetie?" Ahsoka asked right away,

Ines and Leia looked at each other and smile. Luke had informed that they also had brought someone with them, and who that person was. Since they knew, they decided to keep it secret and don't tell Ahsoka about it, they want to be a surprise for their friend.

Looking in front, Ahsoka gasped when she saw Ezra walking towards them with Boba and Fennec right behind them.

"Ezra!" she said and hugged her friend right away. "It is you!"

"Of course it is me. I'm home thanks to your friends."

"You all knew and you didn't tell me?" she said smacking Luke's arms making him laugh.

"Well it was worthy to see your shocking face," he said laughing.

"You will pay for this," she said smiling.

"Come on, I think you need to inside." Han replied having his son now in his arms.

"Yes, besides I want my husband back, if you don't mind," Ines replied looking at Ahsoka.

"You guys can go, I will take Luke to the lab and bring him back."

"Are you going to look like you Papa?"

Luke laughed.

"Yes I will. I hope so," he glare at Ahsoka who rolled her eyes.

"Come on mister."

Heading towards the lab, the rest of them went to kitchen, where they gave something to drink and eat to the Ezra and to the kids.

"Here," Aurea put the plates and cups in front of them. "There is more if you want."

"Thank you," Ezra replied starting to eat, indicating he was hungry.

"I see the food was not good in Geonosis," Han said helping Ani with his food.

"Not really," he answer and then looked to Aurea. "This is delicious, One the best I ever had."

"Aurea food is yummy," Ani replied with his mouth full.

"Anakin, what mama told you about speaking with our mouth full."

"Sorry mama."

Leia smiled and kissed his blond hair. She missed that golden hair and those deep blue eyes.

"Well you can eat as much as you can and don't worry bout where to sleep. We already arranged that, and Aurea and Noah already have your room prepare here in the Jedi Temple if you want to stay. After all all help is needed with our students." Ines said to him, making Ezra looked at her with a surprise look in his face.

"Thank you and yes, after all I want to help with Thrawn. After all you all know that by now he knows what happened and he is not happy."

"What happened after all?" Leia asked looking at Boba and Fennec.

"I think I let Luke tell all of you what happened, but I think it is time for us to go. We need to be in Tatooine, just in case." Boba said.

"What about you Din," Ines asked him.

"We need to go too. I need to talk to Bo about all of this. But we will be back, and I have a feeling it will not be far away."

The moment they rose up, Luke entered in the kitchen with Ahsoka.

"Leaving already?"

Seeing that he was back to his normal feature, Padmé got out of Ines lap and ran towards him, making Luke pick his little girl and laughed when she stoke his face.

"Now you look like Papa. So Handsome." she said making everyone laughed.

"I agree sweetie. Welcome back my love," Ines said hugging Luke kissing quickly on the lips.

"Thanks to Ahsoka," he said looking at her and then back to the others. "But I see you are leaving."

"The sooner we got to Tatooine the better," Fennec said. "But we will see again, and I hope this time it is to end all of this for good."

"Me too. Thank you, both of you."

"Anytime," Boba said.

"Luke is right. I never thought I could say this but I own you," Han said raising his hand and both men shook their hands.

"That is something I never thought I would see," Leia replied smiling.

"Be careful," Ines said hugging Fennec and Boba.

After saying goodbye they all left leaving the others alone in the Jedi Temple kitchen.

"Well I think you need to rest,"Ahsoka said to Ezra. "But tomorrow I want to know everything."

"I agree, besides we need to get home cause I'm pretty sure everyone is waiting to know what happened and to see these two." Luke replied adjusting his daughter in his arms.

Saying goodnight to Ezra, Aurea and Noah, they all head to Luke and Ines apartment.

Ezra will stay now. And let's see what will happen now.
