Chapter 70 – Family Moments
Luke woke up. It was already day light, and he was happy to see he was back to his home, and back to his bedroom with his wife back into his arms.
Smiling, he pressed his lips on her forehead, which made Ines moved and wrapped her arms even more around his waist, and opening her eyes, she also smiled seeing the blue eyes she always loved.
"Morning handsome. Did you sleep well?" she asked him.
"You know that every time we have our night exercise, I always sleep well. You should know this after almost 7 years of marriage."
"Like we only do those exercises after we got married in Endor, right Skywalker?!" she replied making Luke laugh and pulling her closer to him, he took her lips into his.
"I know we exercise way before that. And the first time, we made a perfect human being. That's how good I am."
Ines rolled her eyes laughing.
"Cocky Jedi."
"It is true. Actually our Padmé even asked me last night if we would be making her baby sister."
Ines looked at him with wide eyes.
"What? Where did she got that idea?"
"Well because apparently is not only her twin who knows about their baby sister. And she even called silly Papa. These kids don't have respect for their parents." he giggled.
"Well, don't spoil them too much like you do."
"They are my baby little girls. Sooner I will be no longer their favorite guy in the galaxy." he pouted making Ines laughed and ran her left hand through his blond hair.
"Babe, you will always be their favorite guy in this galaxy. Trust me."
"Padmé asked me if she could sleep with us last night. Poor thing missed us very badly."
"I'm surprise you didn't say yes. They can get anything from you only by doing one of their looks."
"Well let's say that my man needs spoke first."
"Your man needs?" she repeated staring at him.
"I mean having you for myself all night. And you didn't mind either," he winked and leaning down he kissed her neck, making Ines moan at the feeling of his lips on her skin.
"Well I didn't but get ready cause I have a feeling in a few minutes, two 4 years old will running into this bedroom in 3, 2, 1."
And in fact after a few seconds, they hears running steps and the door opened, and running towards their bed, their twin girls, just jumped on and got under the covers.
"Morning Mama. Morning Papa," they said at the same time.
"Morning my sweet girls," Luke and Ines said kissing their little girls.
"Did you sleep well?" Padmé asked looking at her father.
"Yes we did, and what about you sweetie?" he asked kissing her forehead.
"I did. I miss my bed." she said making Luke and Ines smiled.
"We miss you seeing in your bed sweetie," Ines said running her hands on her daughter's long blonde hair.
After a while of playing with the girls, Ines remembered something.
"Oh I forgot to tell you. Luma and Reed are engaged."
"Papa's other twin," the girls said laughing, making Luke shake his head.
"Girls."
"I'm sorry sweetheart but the girls are right. You two do look alike. But yes, they will married at the end of the year in Varykino and I know they want us there, and also want to ask us something."
"Really? What do they want?"
"They were waiting for you to return. I told them everything cause being a lieutenant of the Guard of the New Republic, he needs to know what is going on. And we trust him well enough."
"You did well baby. I'm happy for them. I have to send the congratulations when I see them."
"Me too."
"Mama?"
"Yes Padmé!" she said kissing her cheek.
"Will Ezra be here today?"
Ines glare at Luke and then back to her daughter.
"Yes, he will. He will have dinner with us, and with uncle Han and aunt Leia and aunt Ahsoka. Why are you asking sweetie?"
"Because. I like him. Will he stay here with us?"
"I don't know baby girl. It is up to him. So we have to accept his decisions okay:"
"Okay." she said.
"And you know what you need to accept too. To get up, get dress so Mama can get your baby brother ready cause I'm sure he is awake and wondering where am I." Ines replied making the girls laugh.
"Okay," they both said and everyone got out of bed to get ready.
Later at night:
Everyone was already in Luke and Ines's apartment waiting for Ahsoka and Ezra.
"So, any news about our dear threat?" Han said sitting on the couch, holding a snack that Ines had put on the living room table.
"No really, and you know that is never a good sign," Leia replied looking at her husband.
"He knows what happened to Geonosis by now," Luke spoke.
"Did our new friend say anything by now?" Han asked talking about Ezra.
"I don't know. Ahsoka was with him the whole day but I believe she was telling him what happened for the last 11 years since he went missing." Ines replied to him.
"Did his friends know he is back?" Leia asked to her.
"I know Reed was told to informed Zeb and also General Syndula was also informed. I don't know about the other friends of him."
"I hope they don't take long cause I'm starving," Han said looking at his youngest nephew, who was on the carpet floor, staring at him. Then baby Luke crawled towards him, and supporting himself he raised on this little legs, holding himself on the couch, and with his little left hand he tried to reach the snack his uncle had, making Han grabbed it and stare at him.
"Are you trying to steal my snack?"
Luke, Jr frown at his uncle and tapping on the couch he started to babble back at Han.
"Don't frown at me young man! I'm not your father. I'm your uncle and you will respect me."
"Babbgbbjoollll."
"Excuse me. You don't tell me what to do. You still wear diapers and drink breast milk from a bottle."
"Bjkkkskkkmmmmm!" The baby babble tapping his left hand on the couch.
"I will not give you this snack. And I don't care who you are."
"Brrrrjjjjkojjhhhhnnnbbb."
"Don't yell at me, Luke Skywalker Jr. I dealt with your mother and father long enough to not be afraid of you."
"Brrrrr."
"You ask for this, now you will pay." Han said and grabbed the baby, he made him stand on his legs and started to tickled the baby by kissing his little neck making Luke, Jr laugh at loud, which made everyone laugh at that.
"One because is a baby the other because has the mentality of a baby," Ines laughed.
The door opened and Ahsoka entered with Ezra following her.
"I see someone is having a good time," Ahsoka said.
"You should see the interaction before that, aunt Ahsoka," Iris replied shaking her head towards her father.
Looking at Ezra, Ahsoka raised her arm from him to approach.
"To the people who still don't know him, this is Ezra Bridger and I have to say what he has to say is a little concern." she said looking at Ezra, while everyone stay silence staring at each other.
OMG Han is sooo good with babies. And what Ezra has to say that is not good?
