While the party is staying at the Gold Saucer, Tifa takes Aerith aside to talk about what Cloud told her about Zack and the two discuss what it means for Cloud and themselves.

Amidst the rising tensions, a Human boy and half-Cetra girl meet, grow up, and struggle to prevent the Planet from being engulfed yet again by war.

The alternate timeline continues, based on Dirge of Cerberus and two original stories. Kalm is suddenly attacked during a festive celebration, leaving Vincent to pursue the mysterious Deepground. But this time, Lucrecia joins him on his quest. Meanwhile, a sailing endeavor goes horribly wrong, as does a mother-daughter trip to Eros Nova. Rated M for violence, nudity, and profanity.

What if Advent Children starred Zack instead of Cloud? It's mayhem in the alternate timeline! Sephiroth must be caught, and Tifa attempts to land a job nobody had expected her to even consider. The life of a private investigator is never an easy one, especially after an over involved job that almost gets you killed more than twice & you end up trying to explain the whole thing to your buddies & ex-boss. Fun times. (An homage to my favorite noir movie & the title’s in reference to the book) I had to cast Reno as a noir, hard boiled detective - he has the sass & smart ass.

Cloud comes home from a long day of deliveries only to have Tifa waiting for him with a special surprise that will test every boundary of his strength and control. OR Three Tifas are better than one?

"Tell you what, Mr. "I'll die trying"," She began. Reno felt that comfort washing over him. "I'll make you a deal. If you can get your little plan to succeed then I'll find a way to come and visit. But only for a little while." Reno bit his lip to stop from grinning. Like he needed more incentive to meddle in Elena and Tseng's personal lives.

Cloud did join Shinra, but he just did his tour and got out. Once discharged, he moved under the plate, earning gil by doing odd jobs and monster hunting in the wastes around Midgar. On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done. This is just a little short one I wrote for rare pair week - I don’t know how the two came together, but I found them together and I like it -though for the record, whenever I ship these two I consider it AU as I can’t rain on Zack’s parade

Pursued by Shinra's forces, Cloud and the others press onward. But the price of victory may be higher than they can possibly imagine.
