Total Sole Survivor Season 2 (Spies at Sea) Ep 1 Part 3 "The only problem is the 15 people in the way of me and my money"

**Commercial Break Over**

Both teams were presented with the puzzle that would create a map for the scavenger hunt.

The Killer Kinkajous

"So who is good at puzzles?" Jolt asked her teammates.

Mikaio raised his hand.

Mistral and Melissa whisphered, which received an eyebrow raise from the others principally Jolt.

"Have anything you two would like to share with the class," Jolt narrowed her eyes.

Mistral gave her an eye roll before saying,

"I'll take a crack at it."

"Okay, so Mikaio and Mistral," Jolt finalized.

"I think I got a good view of the ship, so this shouldn't be too hard," Mikaio stated. Mistral nodded and cracked her knuckles.

The two were presented with about 20-30 pieces, and they began working on it.

The Colorful Cobras

"Anyone taking up the puzzle?" Alanar looked at her team.

"I'm up for the challenge," Tamashini stepped up confidently.

"Anyone else?" Beatrice questioned.

Frederick shook his head.

Nicholas shrugged and yawned.

Shelby stood back.

Davy and Uma were too busy flirting.

"So can I see your guitar.." Uma grinned.

"You can see anything you like," Davy responded.

Beatrice frowned.

Confessionals

Beatrice- "This whole Davy and Uma thing, I'm not the biggest fan of it. I hope Uma has good intentions."

End

"Okay, I guess I'll do it," Alanar volunteered. "I mean a puzzle is just a picture, but scrambled."

"It's settled then," Tamashini motioned for Alanar to assist him.

So the two teams got to work.

On the Killer Kinkajous, Mikaio was instructing Mistral as she quickly moved the pieces around. The only issue was Mistral was a bit head strong.

"I said move that one," Mikaio instructed.

"It would be easier if you stopped moving your mouth-" Mistral grunted.

Alanar and Tamashini were working very well together on the other hand.

"I work on this side, and you get that side," Tamashini suggested as he worked on one portion of the puzzle, and Alanar did the other.

So the first team to finish the map puzzle was…the Killer Kinkajous.

"Yes! Nice going!" Jolt leapt up in excitement.

"Bada bing, bada boom!" Mistral did finger guns and winked. "That's how it's done!"

"Okay, now we have the map," Mikaio stepped back for all the team to see.

It could be seen 4 locations were marked.

"Four places: the game room, control room/captain's room, luxury suite; and the tower; let's split it into 4 pairs of 2," Zarian suggested.

"I'm with Mikaio," Rosalina pulled Mikaio to her side.

"I'm with Mistral," Godfrey claimed.

"I'll be with Phillip," Zarian decided.

"Which leaves me with.." Jolt scanned around. She frowned. "..Melissa."

Melissa waved awkwardly.

Confessionals

Rosalina- "I picked Mikaio cause even though we just did a puzzle, he's a puzzle I still need to figure out. He's someone I want to know how he fits into this game. Or more importantly: My game."

**Static**

Godfrey- "Mistral peaks my interest. One of the few I can't read. Yet."

End

Zarian took off with Phillip.

Rosalina allowed Mikaio to lead the way.

Mistral walked over to whisper something to Melissa. "Tell me if anything of interest happens on your end."

"Oh um ok-kay," Melissa nodded.

"MELISSA!" Jolt screamed although she had already dashed in another direction.

"G-got to g-go," Melissa scurried in the direction Jolt went.

Godfrey had also watched the two of them. He stroked his chin.

"So Mistral ready to go?" Godfrey questioned, to which Mistral just skipped ahead with no answer.

"Not a talker I see," Godfrey denoted, though he followed after her.

It wasn't long till the other team got the last bits of the puzzle with the aid of Nicholas who piped up on some pieces that stood out to him.

"Okay, so how are we doing this?" Beatrice looked at her teammates. "To find the flags for the scavenger hunt."

"We're together," Davy, Nicholas, and Frederick all said together, each referring to Uma, Shelby, and Tamashini respectively.

"Let's split into 2 groups of 4," Alanar then proposed. "Me and Beatrice can go with.."

She saw Uma's alluring smile, and Uma met her eyes. "..Uma and Davy."

"So we're going with them," Tamashini frowned as he gestured to Nicholas and Shelby.

"Oh relax, failure is not a look I'll be wearing today," Nicholas assured. "We'll certainly manage."

"Ya, we'll manage!" Frederick pulled the other 3 into a hug.

"Hopefully so.." Tamashini supposed as he pushed on a smile.

"Okay, well let's split up," Beatrice then chirped happily, and the 2 groups ran off.

Confessionals

Tamashini- "Working alongside Frederick is fine. It's Nicholas and Shelby that I hope I can manage. They're both a lot. I can manage a lot, but that doesn't mean I want to deal with it. But hey, I'll make it work."

**Static**

Alanar- "Maybe I'll get to spend some more time with Uma afterall." She smiled as she had a dreamy look, before remembering. "And of course win the challenge! That's what's most important."

End

Melissa and Jolt were running to one of the 4 areas of the map to get a flag for the scavenger hunt.

Well more accurately, Jolt was running while Melissa was struggling to keep up.

"Slow d-down!" Melissa pleaded.

"You speed up!" Jolt ordered. "I'd think with those long legs of yours, you'd at least put them to use!"

"These legs weren't made for running," Melissa protested.

"Clearly," Jolt rolled her eyes. "Just come on, I know where we're supposed to go. We're almost there."

Confessionals

Jolt- "Out of all people, I was partnered with Melissa. I'm NOT losing just because you run like a baby deer just out of the womb."

End

They came to a stop as they reached a tower of the boat. It was a large structure that seemingly overlooked the whole boat.

"Okay, so the tower was one of the areas," Jolt recalled. "Let's go in."

Melissa wasn't even paying attention as she was working on her invention.

"Would you stop that!" Jolt snapped, which made Melissa jump and she fumbled dropping her invention to the ground.

"S-sorry..I j-just..w-well I was f-focusing on this for the t-team," Melissa explained as she picked it up again. "It's a j-jetpack or it w-will be"

"Let's focus on not making the team lose, how about that," Jolt remarked as she dashed ahead. "And what it will be is the crap going home with you if we fail."

Melissa gulped.

Melissa entered and Jolt was already basically flying up the staircases. Which there were a lot.

"W-wait up," Melissa scrambled up to catch up.

"Hey..just wondering but what's the deal with you and Mistral?" Jolt called back to Melissa.

"W-what do y-you m-mean?" Melissa asked.

"Like are you guys friends or what?" Jolt wondered.

Jolt finally got to the top and she waited for Melissa to catch up and to answer. At the top was a extensive looking telescope, some maps, a speaker, and a bell.

Melissa got up, bent over catching her breath. "It's um.. c-complicated. W-why d-do you w-want to k-know?"

"I'll be honest, the two of you aren't a good look in my book. Or in any book if I'm being real," Jolt flat out said.

"R-really..is t-that w-what people are s-saying?" Melissa questioned.

Jolt ignored her as she saw a poster.

"Okay for the tower, to retrieve the item you desire you must complete one of two challenges. You can either bungee jump or do a puzzle," Jolt read. A smile came to her face.

"Jolt p-please answer m-me-" Melissa begged.

"Bungee jumping!" Jolt grabbed an accessible rope and harness. "Are you ready?"

"B-but my q-question-"

"Yea, I asked a question: ARE YOU READY?!"

"R-ready for-" Melissa was confused.

Jolt then jumped, taking Melissa down with her.

Confessionals

Jolt- "I honestly don't know why Melissa would be friends with Mistral. Maybe they bonded over..both being weirdos or something. All I know is I'm not a fan of either of them, and whatever they got going on I'll figure it out!"

**Static**

Melissa- "L-look it wasn't m-my idea to b-be f-friends or allies, or anything w-with M-mistral. S-so I b-better not g-get in trouble b-because of it. You w-want to know w-what else w-wasn't my idea: bungee jumping!"

End

Jolt screamed the whole time

In excitement. It was Melissa screaming in dread.

The flag was hanging on a rope line below.

"There's the flag, but.." Jolt frowned. She murmured, slightly embarrassed. "I'm too short.."

"W-what was t-that?"

"JUST GRAB THE DANG FLAG, I'm not repeating myself-" The girls went back up before Melissa could snatch it.

"Oops, w-well um so d-did you s-say something about a p-puzzle as another opti-" Melissa started.

"We're doing it again!" Jolt eagerly jumped pulling Melissa down with her.

On the other team, Alanar, Beatrice, Uma, and Davy were looking for the captain's quarters/the control room.

As they made their way along, Uma and Davy were flirting up a storm much to the discomfort of Alanar and Beatrice.

"Okay, so if I was in your band," Uma was saying.

"Continue," Davy prompted as he put an arm around her shoulder.

"You think the boys would mind," Uma wondered.

"I've never seen you dance," Davy smirked. "But I can just imagine. Although I considering what I've seen from you so far, what I can't imagine is them saying no."

"Where would I be," Uma went on.

"Right beside me. You don't belong anywhere else," Davy pulled her closer.

"I didn't think anyone could become that close overnight.." Alanar murmured, watching the two of them. "..just on day 1."

"I'm happy for them," Beatrice supposed.

"I mean yea.." Alanar finally looked the other way.

"Let's focus on the challenge afoot," Beatrice said.

Alanar glanced at Uma again. "I- yea, let's do that."

"Wait a minute-" Beatrice noticed the look. "You like her."

"What? No. I like her as a teammate," Alanar brushed it off.

"Alanar, you can be real with me," Beatrice placed a hand on her shoulder.

Alanar glanced at Uma and Davy who were toying about something else, Uma was messing with his hair ("It's sexy pushed up," She teased)

"Okay fine..what if I did," Alanar admitted. "..besides I never openly dated a girl, and my parents are just easing into becoming supportive."

"Hey," Beatrice held Alanar's hand. "Take a chance. The worst thing you can do is not try."

Confessionals

Alanar- "She has a point. It's just not easy. My parents having a lesbain daughter obviously wasn't their picture perfect chinese household. Like hey mom and dad, I like girl. Cool Alanar, do you also like being kicked out." She sighed. "Not to mention they didn't expect me to go into art. My brother saved me big time. He knows the real me. Hopefully my parents see it too and can actually love me for it."

**Static**

Beatrice- "I really hope everyone finds love. What I worry is..I don't know if Uma's and Davy's love is genuine. It might just be.." She shivers. "lust."

End

"Thanks Beatrice," Alanar took her advice.

"Always here to help," Beatrice grinned.

"Speaking of help, you found the room," Alanar stated and they rushed inside

Where they found the captain's chapter. It was a large room, with a queen bed, huge closet, and was ultimately like a high class suite. A door on the left supposedly led to the control room.

Inside, they found Phillip who was already in the room.

"Eh, what up other team!" Phillip waved to them.

"Dude!" Davy greeted him by putting out his hand.

"Dude!" Phillip smiled and the two did a tight handshake.

"I think I'm loving the captain's chambers, a girl can get used to this," Uma laid upon the bed.

"So how is it going?" Phillip asked Davy.

"That's going," Davy smirked as he pointed to Uma.

"Dude, luccckky, a man can only dream," Phillip snapped his fingers.

"Davy don't even have to dream, mate cause last night-" Davy whispered in Phillip's ear.

Phillip's mouth shot open. "Bro, you need to get me in on that, like pronto!"

"Ahem, we need to do a challenge," Alanar reminded Davy. "So what do we need to do here?"

"Oh hush up, I'm talking," Davy silenced Alanar, but he then turned to Phillip. "What she said. What we doing?"

"This poster thing, we're supposed to either memorize the control panels or we are supposed to find the right outfit in the captain's closet," Phillip explained, and just as he said that Zarian came tumbling out of the captain's closet.

"It is wayyy bigger than it looks," Zarian warned.

Confessionals

Zarian- " I was working with Phillip. Finding the room was easy, but apparently to get the flag we need to complete some kind of challenge. Not so easy now." He crossed his arms.

**Static**

Davy- "Time to get this challenge done. I am the only man in this group of 3 ladies, time to show these ladies what Davy does." Davy winked. "Which is rock."

End

"Let's try the control panel," Phillip decided, and he and Zarian got to work trying to memorize the controls on a control panel sheet.

"Ladies sit back, Davy got this," Davy smirked. "But Uma can join if she likes."

"I wouldn't mind being some ASSistance," Uma hopped up as she ran to join Davy in the closet.

Beatrice crossed her arms, apprehension appearing on her face, while Alanar added "Just focus on the challenge you two.."

"We KNOW Alanar," Davy shot her a look before he grabbed onto Uma's hand. The two entered.

Soon Zarian and Phillip finished memorizing the panel and they went into the control room.

Confessionals

Zarian- "The whole memorization thing isn't my thing, but when it comes down to winning or losing, you know your boy will pull out a dub."

**Static**

Alanar- "Uma's and Davy's relationship is starting to bother me. Not cause I'm jealous- or like anything- it interferes with the challenge."

End

Phillip memorized a small chunk of the control panel, while Zarian memorized the majority of the rest. The two got the flag.

"Yes! Let's head back!" Zarian cheered as him and Phillip then ran out.

"Hey again, other team!" Phillip waved as he ran past Alanar and Beatrice. "Bye again, other team!"

"What are they doing in that closet," Alanar wondered as she tapped her foot.

"Making out?" Beatrice guessed.

She was right on the nose.

"Should we go out..we have a challenge," Uma recalled

"Five more minutes won't hurt," Davy pulled her closer.

"It won't hurt at all," Uma agreed. "Let's make use of our time."

As the boys left Phillip stated, "That was nice going, Zarian."

"All it a day's work, we got this win down," Zarian remarked.

"If we do lose we're cool though, right?" Phillip checked.

"As far as I'm aware, all the dudes are good," Zarian assured him. "Let's do a quick rundown of the ladies."

"Let's go," Phillip cracked his knuckles.

"Jolt: great competitor," Zarian stated. "You?"

"She fine," Phillip said.

"Melissa: She is..I don't know yet, but overall she seems

"She kind of fine," Phillip said.

"Mistral: I definitely don't know about her," Zarian admitted. "But I think she's..decent for now."

"So, she fine," Phillip said.

"Rosalina: Let me guess she is fine," Zarian assumed.

"Nah," Phillip smirked. "She HELLA fine."

"You're something else dude," Zarian chuckled.

"I know, I'm half man- half sexy god, all me," Phillip grinned.

Confessionals

Phillip- "I think I'm sitting pretty. Everyone digs me. So the party isn't stopping for this guy anytime soon!"

End

Meanwhile, Rosalina and Mikaio had found the luxury suite thanks to Mikaio's guidance.

"And here we are," Mikaio opened the door for her.

"Thanks," Rosalina entered. "Let's make this fast and easy."

The luxury suite was smaller than the captain's chamber with two beds, and an ocean view. Although it clearly was meant for anyone seeking a first class experience.

The two encountered a poster.

"Okay, either find a key hidden in the room to unlock a box or find a way to touch the ceiling to find the flag you seek," Rosalina read. She looked up, the ceiling was pretty high.

Rosalina stroked her chin. "Let's do the key one."

"Looking around for a key, that's my jam, doesn't sound too hard," Mikaio stretched. Another though occurred to him. "By the way Rosalina, why did you like..pick me?"

"Cause well..I just did," Rosalina answered. "Can I ask you a question?"

Confessionals

Rosalina- "The reason I picked Mikaio was because I wanted to know where he fitted into my game. Does he fit in it. OR out of it."

End

"Shoot," Mikaio allowed as he began drifting around the room, checking the beds for a key.

"So why are you here," Rosalina questioned, and she began searching too.

"Free boat ride, how can anyone say no, you dig," Mikaio answered. "And money if you get to the end. Like that's some easy cash."

"Except this game isn't easy," Rosalina claimed. "I expect it'll only get harder."

"I mean you look like the type that is good at this game stuff, why are you here," Mikaio then looked at her.

Rosalina sighed as she looked at him. "Don't laugh."

"No promises," Mikaio smirked with a cheeky smile.

"My friends dared me after I lost a drinking game," Rosalina revealed as she pinched her nose.

Mikaio blinked, took a deep breath.

Then started laughing.

Confessionals

Mikaio- "Nah, her friends are wildin. Not the craziest dare I've heard, but definitely one of the funniest."

**Static**

Rosalina- "It's kind of embarrassing. But I will win this, so who will be laughing in the end." She paused. "Me. The answer is me if you didn't get that."

End

" I said don't laugh," Rosalina chastised as she then went back to searching.

"You shouldn't have said something funny, if you didn't want me to laugh" Mikaio retorted, snickering a bit still while he went back to searching, now looking at a plant vase.

"It may be funny to you, but I want to win..I wish someone here would just get that," Rosalina groaned. "Ahora, dónde está esa maldita llave." (Now, where is that dang key.")

Mikaio stopped laughing, and he walked over to Rosalina. "You know laughing doesn't hurt your lungs. FYI. Or smiling. You could try it sometime."

Rosalina sent him a look. She then punched a picture that was on the wall.

"I know how to smile, it's hard to do that when you're in a survival game and a wrong move can lead to defeat. I don't lose."

"Did you..um mean to do that?" Mikaio just asked as he then curiously put his hand in the hole of the painting.

"It was either that or your head, so be thankful," She remarked.

"Was that supposed to scare me? Cause it totally didn't work," Mikaio expressed. "It was cool though, not gonna to lie."

"No it wasn't meant to scare you," Rosalina sighed. "Look, I just am not good at the whole friends thing."

She brushed back her hair, and looked down. "I'm sorry. I just take this game seriously. I didn't mean to be rude..I apologize."

Mikaio then smiled, and chuckled. "And that's why I'll help you."

"What?" Rosalina looked up.

"Look, you can help me with the strategy stuff and I can help you with the social stuff," Mikaio proposed.

"Like an alliance," Rosalina deduced.

"Yea that thing," Mikaio nodded. "An alliance."

"That could be a good arrangement," Rosalina considered.

"I could be the key to your success," Mikaio placed the key they needed in her palm.

"The key? Where did you-" Rosalina examined it.

"The picture you punched," Mikaio gestured to it.

"Oh yea, sorry about that," Rosalina scratched the back of her head.

"No, it was behind the picture you punched," Mikaio clarified.

"Mikaio, that's great!" Rosalina used the key to open the box that had the flag in it.

"Umm so about the alliance offer.." Mikaio wondered.

Rosalina turned to face him.

She put out her hand.

"I'm looking forward to our partnership," Rosalina actually grinned. "You help me socially. I will help you strategically."

"Wouldn't have it any other way," Mikaio beamed as he shook her hand.

Confessionals

Mikaio- "Rosalina being partnered with me was pure luck on my part. I really wanted to align with her and I did it. She has her screws on tight. REAL tight. While I like to kick it back a bit. So I feel like we can balance each other out."

**Static**

Rosalina- "The last thing I was expecting was to get an alliance out of this, but I'm not opposed. Mikaio..actually is a nice guy. He seems level headed as well, which I can work with. I'm usually someone that keeps to myself, but Mikaio is right..I'll need help with the social bits. If things go right we can be a powerful duo."

End

The two covered up the picture and left the room.

Elsewhere, Nicholas, Tamashini, Shelby, and Frederick were on the move.

"Okay, so you sure it was a right and not a left," Tamashini directed at Nicholas as he crossed his arms.

"I said a left, you said a right" Nicholas argued back.

"No you said left, and I said that's right," Tamashini stated.

"Then why didn't say that's left, the sense isn't sensing," Nicholas rolled his eyes.

"I did, I said it was right to go left," Tamashini groaned.

"Oh wellll sorrry, that you're bad at directions," Nicholas huffed. "And directing at directions. Quite pitiful skills if I don't say."

"Um guys-" Shelby tried to grab their attention

"And you're bad at listening," Tamashini retorted.

"Guys-"

Nicholas did a dramatic gasp, as he stepped into Tamashini's face. "Excuse me, I'll have you know my hearing is to the most high caliber."

"Guys-"

"Well then hear this: You are a jerk to the highest caliber," Tamashini derided.

Confessionals

Nicholas- "Who does Tamashini think he is? Definitely not an artist with quality taste that's for sure."

**Static**

Tamashini- "I'm a nice guy, but when it comes to people like Nicholas. I don't put up with their crap. You would think an artist would know the art of kindness."

End

"GUYS!" Frederick finally was loud enough. He then smiled sheepishly as they all turned to him. "We um- we found the luxury room."

"Oh, nice job Freddy," Tamashini patted his back, and fist bumped Shelby. "And Shelby."

"I was actually going to point it out myself, but I decided to award you with a chance to do something of use," Nicholas brushed past Frederick.

"Sure you were," Tamashini doubted.

"Thanks Nicholas!" Frederick missed the jab in his comment.

"I mean your welcome if that's what you like to hear," Nicholas shrugged.

"Here is a poster," Shelby observed. "It states either: find a key hidden in the room to unlock a box or find a way to touch the ceiling to find the flag you seek."

The four considered what to do.

"Oh, I know, let's climb on the bed and then stack and get to the ceiling," Tamashini devised gleefully.

"Smart idea," Shelby nodded.

"Okay, but I'm on top," Nicholas just said.

"Let's get to it!" Frederick got on the bed.

Tamashini climbed on his shoulder.

Shelby got on top.

"Carefully, don't miss up my outfit," Tamashini advised Shelby.

Shelby balanced herself, fixing her glasses.

Nicholas then clambered up purposefully, roughly trampling on Frederick and Tamashini.

"Ouch- my nose-" Frederick whined.

"My shoulder-" Tamashini griped.

"Pardon, apologies, the top awaits me," Nicholas chuckled innocently.

"You did that on purpose," Tamashini scowled.

Nicholas got to the top. He could just barely reach the ceiling.

"I'm not high enough. Frederick, you're too short!" Nicholas accused.

"Why is it my fault?" Frederick asked.

"Cause I said so. Duh," Nicholas rolled his eyes.

"Just jump," Tamashini ordered.

"What? No way, and fall and break my ankle. How barbaric," Nicholas refused.

"Fine, I'll do it," Tamashini decided.

"Go Tamashini!" Frederick supported.

Shelby and Nicholas got down. They then rearranged themselves. With it going Frederick, Nicholas, Shelby, and Tamashini.

Confessionals

Shelby- "So..I have been minimal help. I've been trying to conclude if the events are predetermined or..well if free will can alter things. As of now, my teammates apparently believe in free will..so I will offer at least some assistance."

End

Shelby stood on her tippy toes to add an extra boost.

"Break a leg," Nicholas told him. "...or two."

Tamashini jumped, pulled a tile off the ceiling and a flag dropped.

He landed, and Frederick catched him.

"Nice catch," Tamashini smiled.

"Nice jump," Frederick replied.

"I really thought I was going to fall..but for the team, I'll take any leap," Tamashini asserted.

"Hey…if you ever worry about falling, just know I'll be there to catch you," Frederick promised.

"That's um- that's nice," Tamashini cleared his throat.

The two stared at each other for a moment.

"Okay whatever, you know what else is nice, winning. So let's get going," Nicholas clapped his hands, rushing them.

Shelby retrieved the flag. "Everything is going as planned. Depending on if these events are a fixed chain or not."

"It isn't, we decide if we win or not," Tamashini asserted. "So let's be winners."

Frederick dusted Tamashini's outfit off. "That was amazing, and you looked good doing it!"

"Thanks, but um Nicholas is right. For once. Let's get going," Tamashini hustled along.

Confessionals

Tamashini- "Okay 1 flag down. 1 more to go. I hope it is going well for the other 4."

**Static**

Frederick- "Tamashini is so cute. Especially when he comes up with ideas, when he succeeds, when he leads…basically all the time. But he is right though, focus on the game."

End

Jolt and Melissa were running back to the start.

"I c-can't believe y-you m-made me jump 8 t-times," Melissa shivered.

"Well I can't believe getting the flag took you 8 times to jump," Jolt shot back.

"Well s-sorry, I d-don't exactly t-throw m-myself off high p-places in m-my free t-time," Melissa crossed her arms.

As they ran, coming in their direction was Alanar, Beatrice, Davy, and Uma.

"I can't believe you guys wasted our time, we could be behind," Alanar worried. "And if we lose-"

"Oh give it a rest, did we finish the challenge or not," Davy waved the flag, which Uma and Davy had gotten out of the closet. They had to find the right outfit which it was in.

"Guys let's just focus on getting to the next area," Beatrice prompted.

They slid to a stop as the 4 came across Jolt and Melissa.

"Watch it- oh hey," Jolt became flustered as she saw both Alanar and Uma. "W-we were j-just-."

"We w-were j-just um- oh h-hi," Melissa paused. She looked at Jolt who had also frozen "J-jolt, why do y-you s-sound like m-me."

"Shut up," Jolt ordered. "So um, how are you guys doing?"

"Watch this," Uma winked at her teammates. She strutted towards Jolt and Melissa, who were stuck in place. "You two ladies, wouldn't happen to know where the tower is now would you?"

"I'm don't know if we should-" Melissa began.

"Shut up," Jolt told Melissa again. "That way. It's um- that way."

"Thanks," Uma blew a kiss, and she motioned for her teammates to follow her.

"Jolt, s-should we h-have-" Melissa spoke apprehensive.

"Thanks," Alanar told them as she passed by.

"Oh y-your w-welcome," Melissa changed her tune. "N-nevermind, I agree w-with helping t-them."

"Nice trick, love," Davy grinned at Uma.

"I wouldn't have us losing, now would I," Uma slyly grinned.

Although what the two girls were losing was their composure.

"Y-your f-face is r-red," Melissa observed.

"Yours is too!" Jolt pointed out.

"Well w-what if I t-told you..I like g-girls?" Melissa shared.

Jolt crossed her arms. "I'd say I do too."

"Wait- y-you like g-girls?" Melissa questioned.

"Yea, what about it," Jolt narrowed her eyes at Melissa.

"N-nothing- I s-said I d-do too," Melissa put her hands defensively.

"Oh," Jolt nodded. "Is that why you and Mistral-"

"What n-no? Oh definitely not!" Melissa shook her head. "I'd l-lose m-my other arm f-first."

"Okay, then seriously, be real with me. What is the deal with you two," Jolt questioned.

"W-why d-do you w-want to know.." Melissa frowned

"Melissa just give me something," Jolt demanded. "Everyone sees you guys whisper. Godfrey sees it. Rosaline sees it. It's shady. Do you want to look bad-"

"Fine! M-mistral f-forced me into an alliance w-with her on the f-first day, I never w-wanted to b-be a part of it, I don't know what to do and it's t-terrible," Melissa blurted. She then had an afterthought. "Oh and she s-stole Rosalina's b-book too, but I d-don't know if t-that's what you wanted to hear."

She winced as she awaited Jolt's reaction.

Jolt put her hand on Melissa's shoulder. She then smirked. "That's exactly what I wanted to hear."

Confessionals

Melissa- "I d-don't know if I w-was s-supposed to s-say that. I just p-panicked, and um- y-yea. Jolt s-said something earlier ab-bout s-suspicion being on m-me and M-mistral..I already h-have m-my own w-weight, so I c-can't have this alliance t-thing d-dragging me d-down."

**Static**

Jolt- "Mistral. Mistral. You sneaky little rat."

End

"You sneaky little rat," Mistral was skipping along when she caught a rat. "Gotcha!" The rat had a bottle cap, which she took and placed in her bag.

Godfrey was strolling behind her, and the two had been walking in mostly silence trying to find the game room.

"So that's what the bag is for," Godfrey commented with interest.

"If you're going to ask to look inside the answer is no," Mistral gave him a look. "You can have the mouse though."

"Don't worry about your little bag, and I'll definitely pass on the rat," Godfrey told her. "What I want is to get to know you. What are you… a collector of sorts?"

"You could say that," Mistral kept going forward. "Let's find that game room, I want to see what goodies are inside. And to win this challenge thingy."

"Why did you come?" Godfrey continued to ask questions.

"To win, duh, besides its fun," Mistral answered.

"What do you make of our teammates?" Godfrey inquired

"I don't think of them," Mistral groused. "Now can we stop with the questions, this isn't an interview."

"If it was you'd be failing," Godfrey murmured. "If I'm being frank I'll really don't really just don't know anything about you...yet you also are intriguing, it's kind of weird."

"Well maybe I want it that way, ever thought about that," Mistral attested. "I'm not here for the friends stuff. I'm here for the game."

Confessionals

Godfrey- "The reason I partnered with Mistral was to get a read on her. And if I'm being honest, I feel like she is on my level. Zarian he's decent, but Mistral seems like she is actually willing to get a bit dirty. Figuratively and apparently also literally: cause that imp touched a rat. A rat. Disgusting."

End

"Trust me, I can relate," Godfrey connected. "Also here is the room."

He held pushed the door open.

The game room was full of card games, a pool table, ping-pong, and some other assortments.

"You can relate?" Mistral looked skeptical as she walked in. "Aren't you the guy that wants to be everyone's best friend."

"Everyone's best friend, yet their biggest threat. I know the game. I know the assignment. Only one can win," Godfrey designated.

"What are you getting at?" Mistral questioned.

"I feel like me and you think alike," Godfrey denoted

"And? Even I wouldn't trust me, so why should I trust you," Mistral crossed her arms.

"Cause in a game where you can trust no one, believe it or not, you have to trust someone," Godfrey informed her.

"Hold that offer," Mistral just said.

Confessionals

Mistral- "Is he speaking a language I can understand? Yes siree. Do I trust him? No siree."

End

"Here's a poster," Godfrey said. "It says either get a perfect score on the pinball or stack cards in a perfect pyramid," Godfrey read out.

"I stopped listening when you said pinball, I can do that," Mistral sprung into action.

Just then the door opened, and in came Tamashini, Shelby, Frederick, and Nicholas.

"Oh great, the other team beat us here," Nicholas grumbled. "We better win, losing does NOT look good on me."

"Calm down, let's read the objective," Tamashini instructed as he rushed to the poster.

"And where exactly did you guys come from?" Godfrey questioned.

"The luxury room, we got one flag alr-" Frederick shared a bit, but Nicholas covered his mouth. "Don't converse with the opposition."

"Pinball or card stacking basically," Shelby told her teammates after reading.

"Card stacking takes delicate hands, which I happen to possess," Nicholas stated, waving his hands around.

"I'll help," Frederick offered.

"And I'll provide the much needed emotional support," Tamanish added.

"You just standing there and looking cute is emotional support enough," Frederick quipped, which Tamashini smiled at that.

"Let's chop to it, cause we have to beat that small one," Nicholas pointed to Mistral who was one the pinball machine.

"You will obey me, you stupid ball!" Mistral banged on the machine as she kept playing.

Godfrey stroked his chin as he observed.

Confessionals

Godfrey- "Depending on how our other team members are doing it might come down to me and Mistral to win this thing. The ball is in our court."

End

Alanar, Uma, Davy, and Beatrice had found the tower, and had navigated to the top.

"Bungee jump or complete a puzzle," Beatrice read aloud. She looked at her teammates. "What are we doing?"

"I'm fine with the puzzle," Alanar volunteered. "Bungee jumping sounds a bit..much. Davy and Uma?"

The two were having a totally different conversation.

"So where did you buy this jacket, and you think you can get me one," Uma traced her hand down Davy's jacket. "Maybe one that shows a bit more skin."

"You could always wear mine," Davy offered. "Although it might look better off-"

"Enough," Alanar got in between them. "Guys, this has to stop, it's been a distraction."

Davy rolled his eyes. "The only thing that has been distracting is your annoying bloody voice."

"Davy, I'm trying to focus on the challenge," Alanar claimed.

"Then focus on the challenge, I ain't stopping you," Davy glared.

"It would be nice if you would help!" Alanar actually was getting annoyed.

"Guys can we not," Beatrice didn't like where this was going.

"Listen here prat, remind me who got the first flag," Davy now stepped up to her. "So shut the hell up, and get a flag before you run your trap."

"You will not talk to me like that," Alanar glared.

"I'll talk to you anyway, I bloody want," Davy stated.

Confessionals

Alanar- "Davy is going to learn quickly he cannot speak to me like that."

**Static**

Davy- "She had it coming. Don't run your lip, if you don't want to hear it."

End

"You sound like a jerk!" Alanar accused.

"And you sound like a whing gizzard!" Davy snapped.

"What the heck is your problem?" Alanar glared. "This whole punk thing isn't cute."

"You're the one having a kick at me, so zip it," Davy snarled.

"You're the one with an attitude," Alanar stated. "A bad one!"

"Well I don't have to like you!" Davy declared. "You sure aren't giving me reasons to."

"Davy, just cut it out, I don't need your negative attention!" Alanar shot back.

"Just cause Uma isn't giving you any attention, doesn't mean you should be a bloody slag!"

"It isn't about UMA!" Alanar roared.

"Enough!" Beatrice finally voiced. "Davy, you. Me. Outside the tower now. Uma and Alanar, on the puzzle."

"Fine," Alanar crossed her arms. "Fix your attitude, Davy.

"You fix your voice, mate," Davy shot back as he followed Beatrice out.

Confessionals

Beatrice- "That wasn't pleasant to watch at all. All I could do was stop it."

**Static**

Uma- "Quite the show. If I didn't know any better I'd say Alanar was a tad bit jealous."

End

Beatrice and Davy descended the tower in silence.

"Davy, what was that about-" Beatrice began as they exited the tower.

"Oh get off my case," Davy shoved past her.

"No I won't, Davy, we're a team, we can't be fighting each other," Beatrice lectured.

"So it's my fault!" Davy rounded on her.

"No, it's..no one's fault," Beatrice sighed. "We can be better than that."

"You don't know me!" Davy screamed as he turned to her.

"But I want to!" Beatrice raised her voice. "Davy, I want to know you! I want to be your friend! Is that too much to ask?!"

Davy sighed. "And what if when you know Davy Davy..you don't like him."

"Davy, you're not the bad guy. No one is," Beatrice told him. "We're all just people. Imperfect people forced to live together."

"What do you want to know?!" Davy demanded. "Why do you care!"

"..I want to know you," Beatrice supposed. "I care because everyone deserves it. Just let me in!"

"I'm a foster child okay, I never had a family other than my band," Davy spat out. "Is that what you wanted to hear?"

"I- Davy I didn't know," Beatrice took that in. "I didn't think.."

"You're right you didn't think," Davy began to walk away. "You thought everyone came into this with a happy princess life like you."

He continued walking away.

"Where are you going?" Beatrice called to him.

"To the dock," Davy answered. "I got a flag, I did my part."

Confessionals

Davy- "That was a wake up call. They don't know Davy. They don't know what Davy's been through. Who he is. They don't know Davy at all. I can get close to these people, but they aren't Davy's family." He sighed. "And they never will be."

**Static**

Beatrice- "Davy doesn't need romance…he doesn't need a teammate…he needs a friend."

End

Alanar and Uma began working on the puzzle. It was a sliding puzzle.

"Hey..um, I'm sorry by the way..that was uncalled for..that isn't who I am," Alanar apologized.

"No need to apologize, I understand," Uma dismissed.

"You do?" Alanar was surprised. "But you and Davy-"

"-are nothing," Uma finished. "He's cute, but it's just..a fling. Nothing truly there. Now you on the other hand, I've been wanting to talk to you."

"Really? I mean, great um- me too," Alanar chuckled as she awkwardly rubbed her arm. "Um- but why me?"

"You're pretty, smart, and..I think you're kind," Uma listed. "Me and Davy, it's surface level. You. I can talk to you."

"Oh wow, I didn't..I don't know what to say," Alanar admitted.

"You don't have to say anything," Uma's hand rested on hers. "And you don't have to be nervous with me."

"It's just your so pretty and I'm-" Alanar tried to explain.

"Pretty too," Uma smiled at her as she brushed back Alanar's hair. "You're an artist. You of all people should be able to recognize beauty."

Alanar laughed. "Thanks. See you know exactly what to say too."

Uma just smirked almost cunningly. "It's my specialty."

Uma finished the puzzle, and the last block ended up sliding out of the hole in the slide puzzle box and containing the flag.

Alanar seemed to be thinking about something.

"Alanar- you okay?" Uma checked.

"Oh yes, sorry I was just having a thought..sometimes when ideas come to my head I drift off, and one came now," Alanar explained. "Can I ask you something?"

Uma nodded

"It might be soon, but..what would you say to an alliance?" Alanar put forward.

Uma just smiled and laughed. "I would say, I thought you'd never ask. To a cutie like you, I would never be caught saying no."

"Yes! Yes!" Alanar cheered.

Confessionals

Alanar- "Oh wow. I'm practically speechless. That fight with Davy wasn't enjoyable, but it gave me a moment with Uma. And now we're allies and we have a growing connection. Talk about good luck."

**Static**

Uma- "Davy is fun and all, but I need someone more grounded to get me far. That someone is Alanar. Now that I have her heart..I can play with like a little toy. I just love it when they fall."

End

Back at the deck, for the Killer Kinkajous: Jolt, Melissa, Rosalina, Mikaio, Zarian and Phillip were there.

"Where the heck is Godfrey and Mistral.." Jolt impatiently tapped her foot. "If they screw this up for us."

"Patience," Rosalina advised. "I'm worried too, but let's not freak out. Yet at least."

"R-really cause I'm f-freaking out- I'm f-freaking out!" Melissa panicked.

Jolt slapped her.

"I..I n-needed that," Melissa confessed. "T-thanks."

"Let's go get them to step it up," Zarian suggested.

"And tell them otherwise their #ss is grass!" Jolt grinned.

"Um you have the spirit, not the message," Zarian shrugged as he ran off with Jolt on his tail.

For the Colorful Cobras, Davy arrived at the deck, followed by Beatrice.

Not long after that came Alanar and Uma.

"We got a flag," Alanar proclaimed.

"Good that you could be bloody useful," Davy shot crossly.

"I was the whole time," Alanar claimed. "But you were too busy to see it."

Uma smirked, seemingly enjoying the tension.

"Drop it you two," Beatrice eyed them.

"Whatever," Davy crossed his arms. "We now need 4 others."

Confessionals

Alanar- "Well Davy isn't much of a friend anymore. That's unfortunate. If we lose I know who I want out though."

**Static**

Uma- "This conflict isn't bad. It keeps me out of the crossfire. I like attention, but not that kind so I don't mind."

End

Jolt and Zarian found the game room, where Mistral was still on the pinball machine, while Frederick and Nicholas were almost done with the card stack.

"Hey, I just came to say your #ss is grass if we lose!" Jolt warned.

"Oh and you're doing great, keep it up," Zarian encouraged as he gave a thumbs up. Him and Jolt then exited.

"She's annoying," Mistral rolled her eyes. "And I didn't even get to explore the boat."

"Mistral, I'll finish the pinball for you, you can explore the boat," Godfrey offered.

"Huh, really?" Mistral tilted her head.

"Consider it an act of trust, I'll come and get you afterward," Godfrey told ger.

"Hmm..thanks," Mistral ran off.

Confessionals

Godfrey- "I did that cause I want to be the one with win it for our team. Then again..."

**Static**

Nicholas- "Losing is not an option we will win. Once we finish the cards we'll receive the flag, and then victory!"

End

Both teams waited.

Caleb looked at the time.

"We still have a chance.." Alanar hoped.

Jolt shifted antsyly.

They then noticed someone coming.

It was Godfrey.

"I made it, and I have the flag," Godfrey announced.

"Yes!" Jolt cheered.

Melissa clapped.

Mikaio and Phillip high-fived.

Zarian embraced Godfrey in a hug.

"Wait but- where's Mistral?" Rosalina questioned.

"I said all team members must be present," Caleb reminded them.

"She wanted to go off for some reason," Godfrey told his team members with a shrug. "I got the flag for us."

They then noticed Tamashini, Nicholas, Shelby, and Frederick.

Frederick waved the flag overhead with a bright smile on his face.

"Your victory is on its way!" Nicholas shouted.

The remaining four Colorful Cobras reached the deck.

Shelby walked over and handed the last flag.

Just then Mistral came rushing in.

"With that the Colorful Cobras have won the first challenge, granting them safety from the first elimination!" Caleb announced.

The Colorful Cobras celebrated!

Beatrice passed out hugs.

Alanar threw up her arms

Frederick squealed

Tamashini congratulated his teammates.

Davy pumped up his fist.

Nicholas posed like he was a star of his own film.

Shelby blinked.

Caleb turned to the losing team, all their faces appearing dejected.

"As for the Killer Kinkajous, I will be seeing you at the elimination. Tomorrow!"

"Hey," Mistral marched up to Godfrey while tugging her backpack which was more full. "You said 10 more minutes then to come back."

"I didn't know they'd finish that fast," Godfrey innocently shrugged. "My bad. We were close though."

"You lost us the challenge, so the only thing that should be in that bag of yours is a good excuse," Jolt fired at Mistral, who rolled her eyes.

Confessionals

Mistral- "So I went and I actually stole some stuff from Darrel's room and the intern place. And let me tell you, I got loaded on the goodies! This will last me a couple weeks!" She then frowned. "Godfrey told me I could explore for 10 more minutes, but then I saw the other team take off..so the lost isn't on me."

**Static**

Tamashini- "I think I pulled my weight, and everything paid off. Now we get to just sit back, look pretty, and rest our heads. Just the way I like it."

**Static**

Godfrey- "..I didn't finish what I wanted to say in the other confessional. Then again, I want to lose. That's right. I wanted us to lose on purpose. It forces everyone to play the game. Keeps them on their toes. Puts them in survival mode. You don't see what type of player someone is when they're safe; rather when they're in danger and their back is against the wall. That is when you see what type of player they are. Unfortunately, Mistral kind of took some of the heat. But when you play with fire, someone ends up getting burned." Smirks.

End

Team room (Killer Kinkajous)- Day 2

"So how do we want to do this," Godfrey looked at his teammates.

Rosalina just said nothing and observed.

"Maybe we break off into groups, but don't exclude anyone," Zarian suggested.

"I second that. I feel like we break off in an orderly fashion," Rosalina contributed.

"I dig what she said," Phillip nodded.

Confessionals

Rosalina- "Going to elimination wasn't what I was hoping. But now that I'm here, I just need to make sure the elimination goes the way I want it to go."

End

"Well if one wants to talk to me, I'll be anywhere but here," Mistral walked off.

"I'll be outside reading," Roslina then walked off.

"Well she's going home," Jolt said suddenly.

Melissa perked up, pulling out her..special invention. Turning it on.

Mikaio and Phillip but said "Whattt?"

"Rosalina?" Zarian asked.

"No, Mistral," Jolt specified.

"Reasons?" Godfrey requested.

"She kind of cost us the challenge, and she's sneaky. Like none of us know a thing about her," Jolt crossed her arms. "Apparently she is also a thief and stole stuff from Rosalina."

"Well it's 6 of us here," Mikaio counted.

"And Rosalina, one of us can tell her," Jolt decided. "So are you guys in or out?"

"I'm down," Zarian declared.

"I'm down if he's down," Mikaio stated.

"I'm down if he's down with being down," Phillip grinned.

They looked at Melissa and Godfrey.

"I'm also d-down?" Melissa assumed that's what they wanted to hear.

"Down.." Godfrey sighed.

"Great! Mistral's goose is fried," Jolt smirked.

"Cooked," Phillip added.

"Roasted, chopped up, and served with curry and rice with a garlic hint," Mikaio added on.

Everyone looked at Mikaio.

"What, I had it one time at a restaurant in India. It was delicious," Mikaio clarified with a smile.

Godfrey was thinking. "Right… Mistal is done."

Confessionals

Godfrey- "Me not going home, cool. Mistral going. Less cool. Mistral is someone that I feel like I can work with. So the question now is should I put my neck out to save her."

**Static**

Melissa- "I d-do h-have an alliance with M-mistral, s-so I'm thinking..s-should I s-save her. It is only r-right..right?"

End

That night, Mistral was looking through her collections. She played with Darrel's golden line shades. "These babies are sweet..I wonder how much he bought them for."

Melissa breathing anxiously.

"Melissa, you good?" Mistral asked her.

"I'm g-good.." Melissa lied.

"You're a terrible liar," Mistral stated bluntly. "Spit it out, I don't have all night."

"Okay, I'm g-good..b-but y-you're not," Melissa revealed.

"If this is about me stealing, that isn't going to stop," Mistral next tried on a cap.

"No the v-vote.." Melissa gulped. She thought out her next words. "..Jolt wants you gone."

Mistral rolled her eyes. "Why am I not surprised."

"Listen to this," Melissa used her recording device to play something "'She kind of cost us the challenge, and she's sneaky. Like none of us know a thing about her- Apparently she is also a thief and stole stuff from Rosalina'"

Mistral sighed, contemplating this.

"Well at least she made my decision who I want to vote for me," Mistral grumbled. "She is so gone."

"B-but the n-numbers..who w-will v-vote with us," Melissa alerted her.

"Shoot your right," Mistral realized in frustration. "Ugh, I hate people."

"S-so?"

Long pause.

Mistral blinked. "I'll figure it out tomorrow."

"Are y-you s-sure-"

"Shut up, I'm going to bed," Mistral closed her eyes.

Confessionals

Mistral- "Okay, so I'm on the chopping block. Not surprised. But since when did I fear a bit of danger? Never once and never will. One thing you should know is that Mistral always has a trick up her sleeve."

End

Mess Hall (Day 3)

"So the plan is Mistral?" Rosalina understood.

Jolt nodded. "Everyone is on board."

"What do you think," Rosalina whispered to Mikaio.

He gave a thumbs up. "You?"

"I don't think she is trustworthy," Rosalina mouthed back. She looked back at Jolt. "I'm on board."

"Okay, so all votes go on Mistral," Jolt pumped up her fist.

Confessionals

Jolt- "The vote is going exactly how I want it. Giving Mistral the good ol boot!"

End

"Morning," Mistral popped out of nowhere, surprising the 3 of them.

"..morning," they all said back awkwardly.

"Cut the crap," Mistral snapped. "Look, I know you want me gone."

"And what if I do?" Jolt stood her ground. "Cause if you want to start something it's not going to end well for you."

"Look I'm not stupid, I'm not here to fight or whatever," Mistral dismissed.

"Then what do you want?" Jolt asked.

"Just-why me?" Mistral genuinely asked.

"Cause who else would I say?" Jolt pushed back

"I just don't get why you're saying my name," Mistral stated.

"Okay, fine. Melissa told me during the challenge you did all these shady stuff," Jolt divulged. "Stealing Rosie's book, forcing an alliance, and then you lost the challenge."

"Interesting.." Rosalina took note of that. "..my book did go missing."

"What?!" Mistral exclaimed.

Confessionals

Mistral- "I'm stuck in this pickle cause of Melissa! Melissa of all people!"

End

"You know what, what if we vote someone else.." Mistral proposed a devious smirk growing on her face.

"One of the boys?" Mikaio assumed.

"No," Mistral put her hands together. She smirked "...Melissa."

"Why would we do that?" Jolt challenged.

"Melissa ratted out your plan to vote me off to me. Isn't that a tad bit, I don't know shady," Mistral pointed out. "Also I bet she didn't tell y'all she had a device that recorded your little chat."

"She what!" Jolt was fired up.

"I know right. So untrustworthy," Mistral shook her head. "Look if you want me out, whatever. We can fight it out next elimination. Let's get out the real shady one: Melissa."

"You make a tough bargain," Jolt thought. "And I do hate Melissa. Talk to the boys, I'll also see what I hear."

Confessionals

Mistral- "Goodbye Melissa. I would say I feel bad, but then I'd be lying

**Static**

Mikaio- "Something tells me for a first vote. It will NOT be easy."

End

"So do we vote Melissa?" Mikaio pondered.

"Honestly, we just need the boys to vote whatever way we vote," Rosalina responded. "On one hand..there is no trust with Melissa. On the other hand, Mistral seems like the type to lie to you for fun."

"That doesn't sound fun," Mikaio claimed.

"It isn't. It isn't at all," Rosalina denoted. "We'll figure it out, Mikaio."

Mistral got together with Godfrey. She found him reading.

"I heard my name is out there," Mistral remarked.

"I'm quite aware," Godfrey said casually looking up from his book.

"Okay, and what should I do? You said you wanted to help me, so do the helping!" Mistral urged.

"Now you want my help," Godfrey slowly placed his book down.

"Look I don't have time for you to be a cocky b####," She glared.

"Okay, who are you putting the vote on?" Godfrey asked.

"Melissa," Mistral answered. "Jolt seems to also be on board. Rosalina and Mikaio, I don't know where they stand."

"That's..workable. Okay, talk to Zarian. If you can flip Zarian, then at that point we can at least tie the vote and from there, we'll figure something out," Godfrey directed.

(A few hours before the vote) (Day 3)

Zarian was just eating before the vote.

"Zarian, we need to talk," Mistral rushed over to him.

"Okay sure, hit me," Zarian nodded.

"I'd love to, considering I get the vibe everyone wants me out," Mistral jokingly quipped. "But I'll pass on smacking you across the face."

"Look I'll be straight with you, Mistral, I'm just doing what's best for the team," Zarian confessed.

"Which is me going?" Mistral quiered.

"I don't think I've connected with you," Zarian sighed. "Or..anyone for that matter. Except Melissa, but that..that's a different situation."

"But you connected with Melissa? What's so relatable, the way she stutters or the way she fumbles like a buffoon," Mistral mocked.

"Melissa, she is trying. She got us a flag. Her stuttering and everything. I won't hold that against her," Zarian said.

"Forget it, I'm not going to the beg if that's what you want," Mistral declined.

"I just want to know you. Melissa, I know she's a good person. She means well," Zarian argued.

"So I'm just the bad guy," Mistral understood.

"Look..I know how you feel," Zarian claimed.

"You know nothing, you just want to vote me off like everyone else!" Mistral shouted, she turned to walk away.

"Wait! No- I mean, I was a troubled kid. I acted out. I..wasn't always nice," Zarian revealed.

"You're joking," Mistral turned back around.

"I'm not," Zarian insisted. "I know how it feels to be rude. To be a troubled kid. To act out. But when I realized I was hurting the people I cared about..that's when I made a change."

Mistral sighed. She looked upset. "..I do care about someone."

"Ah, so there is something," Zarian observed.

"Look, in my life not a lot of people cared about me. I had to care for myself. Live for myself. Do it all. By myself…it's not easy when the only person that loves you is..yourself," Mistral finally gave in

"I've been that kid before. But if you make an effort to change…the way people see you will to," Zarian guided her.

"Does that mean I have your vote?"

"Will you change?"

"If we can make the vote happen.." Mistral started. "..then maybe. Just maybe I can make something happen."

"That's what I like to hear," Zarian smiled, and…Mistral did too.

Elimination (Day 3)

The Killer Kinkajous had a seat at the deck where they met Caleb. The overall vibe was actually a bit tense, which contrasted with the beautiful night sky with the beaming stars.

Rosalina sat attentive.

Phillip looked chill.

Jolt crossed her arms, eyeing some people.

Zarian looked conflicted.

Mistral looked irritated.

Mikaio looked unphased.

Melissa looked worried.

Godfrey looked..pleased.

Caleb slowly strolled over taking his place in front of a podium.

"Well Kinkajous..first night, here..how are we feeling?" Caleb gazed at them, taking in their faces.

"Not good," Jolt spoke. "Let's hope it can be our first and last night here."

"Okay, well what went wrong and resulted in you guys ending up here?" Caleb then questioned.

"I don't think it can be narrowed down to one person," Zarian said. "Right, now it is a team game. So we win as a team and we lose as a team."

"Well that's funny, cause one person has to be voted off due to this loss."

"So we're just going to do what is best for the team," Godfrey responded.

"And that would be?"

"Uh well we'll have to see-" Mikaio began.

"-Melissa go straight back to whatever dirthole she came from," Mistral cut in.

Everyone turned to Mistral.

"Were all thinking it, I just said it," Mistral shrugged.

"H-hey? W-what the h-heck!" Melissa was alarmed.

"Mistral, care to explain," Caleb prompted, his interest growing.

"I would love to. For those of you that don't know, me and Melissa had an alliance. Don't worry it's dead now. More importantly, Melissa had a device that could record all of our conversations," Mistral exposed.

"I c-can e-explain!" Melissa exclaimed.

"Can you?" Mistral smirked as she took the device out of her pocket.

"Hey t-that's mine!" Melissa shouted. "B-but it's n-not like t-that!"

"Don't worry I'll be sure to give it back as a parting gift once you're off the boat," Mistral retorted.

"Godfrey, thoughts?"

Godfrey shook his head. "I mean considering Melissa had a secret alliance already and this device. If that isn't shady, I don't know what is."

"Melissa, care to explain," Caleb granted her time to defend.

Melissa was breathing hard.

"I-it isn't w-what it l-looks like. M-mistral b-blackmailed me, s-she f-forced me into the a-alliance and m-made m-me use the d-device for h-her!" Melissa protested.

Mistral rolled her eyes. "Aren't you the one who also leaked the plan to vote me off to me. Yea, not a smart move, shady boots."

"I'm not s-shady! Y-you are! You e-even s-stole R-rosalina's book!" Melissa let out.

"Which you willingly kept a secret until now, isn't that funny," Mistral pointed out.

Rosalina's eyes widened at that.

"Rosalina..I saw that face. Thoughts?"

"I..well this is a lot to take in, and it definitely is going to effect the vote," Rosalina shared. "But the right choice has to be made."

"Y-you are j-just t-throwing me under the b-bus!" Melissa proclaimed. "Guys, s-she's t-tricking you!"

"Wrong. I'm not throwing you under the bus. I'm driving the bus, and running you over like the dirty rat you are," Mistral shot back. "Now shut up!"

"NO!" Mistral slapped the device out of her hand, and it broke.

As the two argued, Rosalina whispered something to Mikaio, who then nodded.

Mikaio then whispered something to Phillip who passed it on to Zarian who passed it on to Godfrey. Godfrey seemed to think for a moment, before finally whispering something to Jolt.

Jolt sighed, and then nodded.

"What's the whispering?" Caleb inquired.

"We made up our mind, and we're ready to vote," Jolt affirmed.

"-I never should have worked with you," Mistral was still arguing.

"I d-didn't even w-want to!" Melissa exclaimed,

"Okay, let's vote," Caleb then said. "Ladies enough…wow crazy first vote. Let's get to it."

Everyone went to put in their vote. Melissa and Mistral wasted no time. The others were also rather fast about it as well.

"And done! We have the votes!" Caleb informed them as he gathered papers. "For this season, you'll be getting sea salt crackers."

"First, cracker goes to Godfrey."

Godfrey put on his handsome smile.

"Jolt."

Jolt caught it in her mouth.

"Mikaio"

Mikaio caught it.

"Phillip."

"Cheers brother," Phillip and Mikaio bumped crackers before eating.

"Rosalina."

Rosalina nodded expectantly, and ate her cracker.

"Last, safe person is Zarian."

Zarian smiled as he received his cracker.

All heads turned to the remaining two.

"The two who caused the most conflict tonight. I guess your team members decided only one of you was worth the trouble."

Mistral crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing on Melissa bitterly.

Melissa looked down, she fiddled with her thumb.

"The person voted out will be the first person out of season 2, and will lose the chance at the million and title of sole survivor.

"With all that being said, the final cracker goes to…."

"Mistral, not you. Your time here has ended. Melissa, you will see another day. A vote of 7-1."

Melissa let out the biggest sigh of relief. "T-thank you. T-thank y-you. T-thank y-you. I c-can't even ex-xpress it-"

Mistral stood up enraged. "Enjoy your crackers, I hope you all choke!"

"Mistral-" Zarian stood up.

"Screw off," Mistral gave him the finger.

"For this season, Mistral, you will take the plunge of shame," Caleb notified her. "On the plank."

Mistral walked over to the plank.

Caleb pressed a button, and she dropped.

Some items went flying out of her bag.

"Wow, it's like Christmas, bro," Phillip caught a random hat.

"She must have gotten around a lot," Mikaio

Caleb then walked over to the edge of the boat, putting his hand to his ear..until her heard a

Splash! Below.

"With Mistral gone 15 remain on this long journey. If that elimination told you anything, it's that this game isn't easy. What will happen next? What will be the fall out of this vote? Will Davy and Alanar's fight have consequences? And will we see any more romance, preferably NOT between Darrel and my sister..find out next time on Total. Sole. Survivor! Spies at Sea!"

The Votes

Rosalina- Mistral

"If everyone listens to me, you'll be gone. At the end of the day, I couldn't trust you. If you're willing to steal from me, what else are you willing to do? I'm sorry, but as a player you're too unpredictable. I can't have someone like that in the game."

Phillip- Mistral

"I heard your name, and that's the name I'm putting down. Didn't really get to know you, but didn't seem like you were vibin with the group."

Mikaio- Mistral

"Rosalina said you're the best person to go. I trust her, and I certainly don't trust you. So hey, everything works out."

Mistral- Melissa

"I didn't think I'd write your name down so soon, but honestly better sooner than later. This is a game, not a charity. Go somewhere else for people to give you money for your pathetic problems. Goodbye, and good riddance!"

Melissa- Mistral

"Y-you were r-rude f-from the j-jump. And if I g-go home..I r-rather go h-home t-than b-be on a team with s-someone like you. S-since y-you like to t-take things f-from me..well here, have my vote!"

Jolt- Mistral

"I was on the fence, but you're the worst of two nuisances. Rat begone! Don't worry about Melissa, she'll definitely be joining you soon enough."

Godfrey- Mistral

"What can I say? I tried, but you did this to yourself. I'm just going with the votes, while you're going home."

Zarian- Mistral

He looked really sad. "Mistral..I'm so sorry. This really wasn't any easy vote. Don't take this personally please. Please, try to understand. I meant everything I said..but unfortunately I couldn't do much. Everyone had their mind made up. I'm sorry. I really am.

Voting Total

Mistral- 7 (Godfrey, Jolt, Melissa, Mikaio, Phillip, Rosalina, Zarian)

Melissa- 1(Mistral)

Mistral's final message

"I'm pissed! But screw these people, I don't need them! I didn't want to play with them anyways," She crossed her arms. "..but whatever, for reflection..maybe I played a bit too hard, but other than that I regret nothing. No regrets. No sorries. No mistakes. If I ever return, this game will be my playground. And I will not make the mistake of trusting anyone. Ever. Again."

Eliminated

16. Mistral Rivera-Hwang (The Contrary Hoarder)

Authors Note: I really loved Mistral's character, and it was fun writing her. I did originally have her going forward, but that was when I was going to have Davy on the Killer Kinkajous, and the two of them would be a duo. Although I changed it for a different plot. Although like I said I really liked Mistral, the trouble she caused on her short run, and the drama she stirred up in the first elimination. They'll defintely by a chance for her to return in the future.
