Bo turned over and moaned. She suddenly shook and opened her eyes. She was in bed. She sat up and found Lauren's pajamas, empty. "Lauren?! She jumped out of the bed and ran. She ran down the hall. Down the stairs and screamed for the Doctor again. Taking a deep breath, she bowed her head and walked down the hall, she peeked in and found the blonde, in another bed. She growled and walked in. "What the hell is this?!."

"Good morning, Bo." Sam turned back around.

"Do not say good morning, tell me what the hell is going on?". Bo asked as she pointed to Lauren.

"Dr Lewis asked for this." Sam replied as he took notes.

"Asked for all of these needles?." Bo stormed over to the bed. "Why?."

"She woke up early this morning, once we put you to bed, we went over my tests from last night. After a few hours of putting our heads together, she wanted me to do this. To hook her up in the attempts of pumping your blood out of her." Sam responded and took Lauren's vitals.

Bo growled again. She yanked at the cords and pulled them out. "No". Her eyes went blue and she bent over the Doctor. Gently, she opened her mouth and pushed Chi in. Once Lauren's eyes opened she stopped. "Not like this, Lauren."

"Bo?!". Lauren groaned.

"That could kill you, and I'm not about to watch you do that." Bo spoke softly and gently let the Doctor's head go.

"Sam unhook these." Lauren rolled her eyes.

Once Lauren was bandaged properly she turned to Bo. "You had no right to do that. That was my choice."

"If you want to take my blood out, you're going to have to try a different way." Bo gritted her teeth. She loves Lauren but she is not about to watch her do something so dangerous. "We don't know your blood type and how soon we would be able to find donors. Try another way."

Bo turned over and moaned. She suddenly shook and opened her eyes. She was in bed. She sat up and found Lauren's pajamas, empty. "Lauren?! She jumped out of the bed and ran. She ran down the hall. Down the stairs and screamed for the Doctor again. Taking a deep breath, she bowed her head and walked down the hall, she peeked in and found the blonde, talking to Sam. She sighed and walked inside.

"It's conclusive, Lauren. You used Bo's blood. Not Aife's." Sam spoke softly.

"What's going on?." Bo asked.

"Bo this is confidential. You shouldn't be here." Lauren rolled her eyes.

"Well, I am here. Now tell me what's going on?." Bo looked back and forth between them.

Lauren shook her head and sat silent. "She's not going to talk about this with you Bo. Given her stance, I can't either." Sam set his tablet down and locked the screen.

"Lauren, I just want to help. I've been helping all night. Until I fell asleep at least". Bo stared at the blonde. She looked more rested and more focused. When she looked at Bo, she still looked pissed. "Sam, can you give us some time, alone?." Lauren asked.

"Of course, I will be in that office." Sam pointed towards a door in the corner of the room and left the women.

"What do you want, Bo? What? Haven't you done enough? Or not enough?." Lauren corrected herself.

"Lauren. I brought you here so he could help you. I have no other long game but that right now." Bo shook her head. The woman still doesn't trust her. She probably hasn't since Bo slept with Dyson a few weeks ago.

"As you can see, I'm better." Lauren stretched her arms out.

"If you are better, then why were you huddled up with him?." Bo raised her eyes to Lauren.

"Sam?." Lauren spoke into the speaker phone. "Can you come out here?."

"Sure, I will be right out." Sam replied. His heels were the only sound surrounding Bo and Lauren. Other than their breaths.

"I want you to go get a gurney. I am going to lay on it, and you are going to pump Bo's blood out of me. I had no intention of blood seeping into my pores. It was only supposed to heat in the water bottle and heal my paralysis. The condition Bo left me in." Lauren gritted her teeth.

"Are you sure about this Lauren? It's dangerous. You have a rare blood type and we don't know if we can find someone with your blood type that fast." Sam's eyes went wide as he spoke to Lauren.

"You're talking about transfusions. No. Lauren will not be put in that type of danger." Bo shook her head.

"I don't want your blood in me!". Lauren screamed. The sound shook the papers on the table.

"Holy shit!." Sam stood back.

"What?." Bo looked at him.

"Her eyes were blue and went back to her normal color." Sam stood still.

"So, her blood brings out the darkness. Like the darkness in her Succubus. Great. I fucked myself up. Royally." Lauren stood and paced and paced.

"You could be a Fae, Lauren. Should you keep the blood." Sam took a seat.

"What? And be like Bo? No. I don't want that. Let's call around to some blood banks and see if we can find my blood type. Once we get it, we can proceed with the procedure." Lauren sat at the desk and picked up the phone. She'd use her cell, but she left it back at her hotel.

Bo took a seat and wiped her face. She stared at Lauren for as long as she could. The Doctor is about to change again. A change that may not want Bo as a friend, at all. "Lauren, you can't be serious about this. You could die."

"I'm going to die someday. I'm a human. Life is always a risk. Like the risk I took falling for a Fae." Lauren never looked at Bo. She didn't need to. The words hit the Succubus right where she lives, in her heart.

"If we're going to play that game, I chose a human over a Fae." Bo said coldly. Her voice was her Succubus.

Lauren's eyes went wide when she found her blood type. "Let's go."

"To where?." Sam asked.

"To get the blood. The sooner we get it, the sooner we can start." Lauren pulled her jacket on.

Bo couldn't say anything. She might as well not have been in the house. Lauren stood and left. She sat in the chair, waiting for them to come back.

The Ash and Morrigan.

"I don't like this Evony. We haven't heard from Lauren. Nobody has seen Bo. The fate of the entire colony rests on the both of them. Bo's Succubus is in Lauren's hands. Good or bad. Good if she doesn't get angry and can protect Lauren. Bad if she gets pissed off and starts killing, again." Hale sighed into his drink.

"We sent the wrong Succubus with her. It was our mistake. They need sex. They can't go without it. Lauren is a beautiful and smart woman. Bo's dumb if she doesn't see what she has. What she could have had." Evony drank her wine.

"Bo showed up here thinking we were going to live by her rules. I watched her pit Dyson against Lauren. It was cute for a minute. But then she made a choice. Lauren made one too. She should have ran after the Garuda. But she never came to me to request to be freed. Besides, this is also dangerous for us. She still has the plague plan. We almost didn't survive last time. We're all in Lauren's hands. Not just Bo's Succubus." Hale sat back in his seat.

"Megan and Vivian are still to be her escorts. I don't want the Doctor having to start over with new ones. But they must be trained to control themselves. Lauren can have as much fun with them as she likes, but they are never to make the first move." Evony wrote down and passed the letter over for Hale to sign. "If that contract is broken, they are to be hung before the High Council".

"Understood. I wrote that down too." Hale signed the letter and handed it to his assistant. "See that they read and sign this in front of you." He ordered.

The Dal

"You should have requested to be Ash before Hale did. We wouldn't be sitting here worrying about Bo." Dyson nearly broke his beer glass.

"She's not in danger, Dyson." Trick spoke from the far end of the bar.

"She could be. If her Succubus takes over, we may never get Bo back." Dyson shook his head. He longed to be out there chasing them down.

"It's all Lauren. Lauren is controlling everything. Bo. The Ash. The Morrigan. Everything. Damn I picked the wrong team. That girl has game." Kenzi shook her head. Trick had made her a cheeseburger and it's good.

Dyson took in everything Kenzi had just said and ordered another beer. His wolf was chomping at the bit to be with Bo again. But the other side of him is starting to realize this is all bigger than his mate with her.

Bo

She sat in the same spot. She had gotten up a few times to stretch her legs, but other than that, she sat where she was when Lauren left. It was starting to feel like hours when it had only been thirty minutes. She is not educated on doctor protocol but it must take badges and signatures to get what Lauren went for. Blood.

Bo doesn't like what Lauren is doing. But she can't stop her either. She had just had this nightmare. Seeing Lauren hooked up to all of those tubes. She's seen a lot of horror movies and is now living one.

She doesn't blame Lauren for not wanting her blood. She knows she herself is evil. Or she can be. Imagining that in Lauren is almost making her succubus surface. But they have to sit tight. Be strong. Above anything they have done before, stay calm. She jumped when she heard the doors opening. "Lauren?."

"We're back." Sam spoke from the other room.

When Lauren walked in on her own, Bo sighed in relief. She didn't have any obvious wounds. "Let's get started."

Bo frowned. She'd hoped Lauren had abandoned her plan but here she is. Blood in her hands and a few gurneys being rolled behind her.

"Do you need another doctor or two? I can find a few." Bo choked out.

"No. I read Sam's credentials. Aife did very well finding him. He's as skilled on Succubi as I am. Everything should run smoothly." Lauren shook Bo's offer off. She didn't even get near the woman.

Bo stood and followed them to a bigger room. She watched Sam hook up everything he needs. She watched everything Lauren did and was doing. She pulled her clothes off and put on a hospital gown. She must have picked it up when she left because they didn't have them in Aife's house.

"We..I don't want anything besides you, Lauren. I want you to be well first." Bo spoke. She bit the inside of her mouth to keep from crying. Crying out to the woman that she loves more than life. She wants to tell her that very thing, but privately on a beach and under the stars. Not the same beaches that she followed her to. One they have never been to, together.

She cringed when Sam hooked up the equipment. She nearly screamed when Lauren was given an anesthetic. She watched those beautiful eyes close. Like she had many times before. This time, she prayed they would open again.

"It will be a few hours, if you want to get some air." Sam shook Bo out of her head.

"I'm not going anywhere. I leave, and she will leave me. No. Never again." Bo shook her head. She noted the time on the clock on the far wall and wrote it down.

She closed her eyes and opened them again. She didn't need coffee. She needs Lauren. To come back to her. Alive and well. Well like the woman she fell in love with. Well like the woman that helped her control her feeding. Well like the woman that never thought she was a monster for needing to feed. Well like the woman nice and warm against her in bed. Well like the scientist that napped on her couch.

She cringed when she saw the blood coming out of the woman. She wondered how much of it was hers and how much of it was Lauren's. Two hours had passed and Bo started to become restless. She should have stopped this whole thing. She could have stopped the whole thing by asking Lauren to believe in their love. Yes there is darkness that comes with her blood but their is also love and healing. Spiritually, anyway.

She took some deep breaths and watched the tubes again. She shook her head and mentally kicked herself. She wanted to leave the room and kick herself like Nelson kicked Lauren around. She gritted her teeth at the thought. She'd left Lauren exposed. The Light Fae shits did too. But they aren't Lauren's love. Her partner. Bo is. Or she was and hopes to be again. But all of that is in Lauren's hands. Her heart feels it too. The warmth of holding something precious in your hands and arms.

She looked at Sam. He was sitting too. Sitting and taking notes. He only stood to adjust the blood flow and sat down again.

"If she dies, my mother will be the least of your worries." Bo spoke softly.

"Aife prepared me for your Succubus." Sam never looked at Bo. He could feel the Fae in Bo nearly surfacing.

"You will never be prepared for me. Let something happen to Lauren and I will let her out all over you." Bo leaned forward. Her Succubus isn't going to hold out much longer.

"It's time for the transfusion." Sam said hours later.

"This is so dangerous. For you, I mean." Bo shifted in her chair and shook her blue eyes back to normal. It is the kind of feeling of knowing you're about to be up shit's creek and you don't have a paddle.

"Lauren!?." Sam screamed. The Doctor was starting to convulse.

"You fucking idiot!." Bo stood and was over to Lauren in a matter of minutes. "Take those tubes out". She pulsed him and bent over Lauren.

She froze when she felt cold lips beneath hers. "No. Lauren. No." She opened her mouth and pushed chi in. When it wasn't working she stood up and raised her arms. "You will not die." A strong voice broke the silence in the room. Chi flowed from everywhere it could flow from. The chimney. Floorboards.

Bo licked her lips knowing she had taken enough. She bent over Lauren again and tears fell as she pushed chi into her for what she hopes is the last time. She pulled back and gently rubbed Lauren's chin. The doctor started to stir and more tears fell. When her eyes opened, Bo pulled up.

"Bo? What happened?." Lauren asked.

"Water!." Bo ordered and watched as Sam ran to get it. "You started shaking during the transfusion. He panicked, so my Succubus took over."

"I just want to go home." Lauren sighed.

"I'll take you, I promise. Right now we need to get you hydrated." Bo moved away so Sam could do whatever doctors do for hydration.

Bo called for a chef to cook for Lauren. Aife didn't hesitate sending someone over. But this time Bo made sure it was someone that really knows what the fuck they are doing. She didn't lie. She's going to take Lauren home. Once she's been fed properly. Once they get home, she will get her out of that Fae contract with Evony. Lauren is going to be free. But without having to blackmail the fae for it.

When Sam gave the all clear, Bo carried Lauren to a fresh bed. She laid her down and they waited for dinner to be brought in. Bo stood back and watched chefs coming from every direction. Lauren had food all around her. Bo smiled when she started eating everything she could get her hands on. Sure she fed her chi, but humans need actual food. Nutrients. Protein. The doctor had her choice of all of it.

"When you are done eating. I will let you shower and take you home". Bo stood in a corner.

Lauren nodded and continued to eat. She also drank everything that was brought to her.

"You are all excused for the night once the doctor has had her fill." Bo spoke softly as she finally plopped down in a chair.

"I'm done." Lauren pushed the trays away.

Bo hurried over to help her stand. "I'm fine, Bo."

"I know. I'm just making sure." Bo gently let go and followed Lauren to the bathroom. "Fresh towels are in this closet. Everything else is in the shower or on the counter." She stepped out and left the woman alone. But she stood at the door in case she will be needed.

"How should she be?". Bo asked Sam.

"Thanks to your chi, she's farther than any other patient would be in this situation." Sam replied.

"Good. Your time here is done." Bo waved him out.

"But, Aife said I'm to stay here until the Doctor walks out on her own." Sam turned back.

"Then sit. But you will still go the minute Lauren walks out of here." Bo gestured at the door.

Lauren

The doctor took a longer than normal shower and finally stepped out. She knew Bo was standing at the door. She could see her boot heels. She wrapped a towel around her head and squeezed. She smiled as she looked in the mirror. She squinted her eyes and lifted her hands to pull the towel off. "Bo?!". She called.

"Yes?!." Bo nearly pulled the door off when she opened it. "Holy shit."

"I can't make it stop." Lauren shook her hands and it didn't work. They were still glowing.

"I have an idea." Bo walked over and kissed the blonde. Once she pulled back. She took Lauren's hands and they weren't glowing anymore.

"I want to go home. I have better equipment there." Lauren quickly grabbed her clothes to dress.

"Pull my car around". Bo threw her keys to Sam. He ran out and Bo watched Lauren finish up.
