"So, let me get this straight. You two are supposed to be heroes, and this Eggman guy wants to take over the world? You said he made a weapon with these... Chaos Emeralds? And something happened? Sonic, you said it was like something called Chaos Control?" Ocelot recaps, quite unconvinced by the information given.
Sonic smiles. "Yep, that's about the gist of it!"
"And we can't afford to let Eggman do the same to your world, too! If we're here, Eggman must be as well!" Tails continues, twirling his tails in worry.
Snake walks towards the two Mobians. "Ocelot, we can't afford to let this Eggman guy become a threat. I need you to look into it immediately." He places his hands on Sonic's shoulders. "I really hope you aren't bullshitting us. If this man is as dangerous as you two say he is, we will need all the help you can give us."
Sonic puts his thumbs up. "Don't worry, Boss man! Anyone against Eggman is a friend of mine! But, uh, a bit of space?" he says, slipping Snake's hands from his shoulders awkwardly.
Qingdao, People's Republic of China
"So if you won't let me stay here, my short friend, where can I go?" Eggman grumbles, playing with a pencil, bending and running his fingers along it.
Another immigration officer approaches. "Egg men, you no be China, must go away other place." he says carefully, apparently even less experienced with the English language than his colleague. Before he can embarrass himself further, a woman with short hair walks up to them, smacking her glossy red lips.
"接待区后面有一位苏联大使。 你拘留的这个人是俄罗斯科学家。" (There is an ambassador behind the reception area. The man you are detaining is a Russian scientist.) she says, and the two immigration officers back away, allowing the woman to take Eggman by the arm. "Ты причинил много неприятностей дома, Иван. Вас немедленно вернут в Москву и поместят под рабочий арест." (You have caused a lot of trouble back home, Ivan. You will be returned to Moscow immediately and placed under working arrest.)
Eggman, still unable to understand the language, smartly remains silent. He does, however, catch the name Ivan. So, they think he's one of their citizens? This is a blessing! Chaos be praised, he will be able to get back to plotting his revenge against these weird people! He can almost taste another victo-

Sorry about the long delay and short chapter. I've been very busy lately with family drama and I'm waiting on getting a tooth extraction. It's been a stressful Christmas, but I may as well give my excuses before they become too abundant to list in one go. It's also January 1st, so happy new year.
This chapter was incomplete, so I just added a bit of story to get Eggman out of China. Furthermore, as you have almost certainly noticed, I try to use the native language of the characters in this story when it fits the situation, such as the immigration officers being unfamiliar with the English language, and the agent being a speaker of both Russian and Chinese. Since this story is not made to be multilingual, I have and will continue to provide the translation in brackets. Apologies for any inaccuracies, as I translate all foreign languages online.
