Crisis City

Crisis City is a city that's always in crisis from the intense, burning flames and the tornadoes that like carrying cars. It's also a fan of having destroyed buildings burn at every instant from the intense red hot flames of the future. All things considered, even though this place shouldn't exist, it does, because it's a burning aftermath of breaking the space time continuum.

10. Jewels In The Fire

The Crisis City was burning hot as you would expect, as Team Dark members Rouge The Bat and E-123 Omega were collecting the various bright jewels located all over the burning city, all while both were being chased by the anthropomorphic first form of Iblis, who bellowed with rage as he destroyed various buildings with his four magma arms and fired giant fireballs at the walking arsenal and flying anthropomorphic bat.

"Why are we gathering jewels here again?" Omega asked as he turned his upper metal body around and fired several lasers at Iblis from his arm cannons.

Rouge smirked as she gracefully dodged the fireballs, flapping to Omega's level. "Because the diamonds that were hidden all these years in these smoldering, burning ruins are more precious than even the Master Emerald!"

"...And it took you this long to figure out." Omega responded as both of them were suddenly picked up by a fiery tornado, with Iblis roaring at it as he slashed through the tornado in an attempt to get Team Dark.

"Well yeah. I do have a life beyond being a government agent and lusting over jewels, you know!" Rouge exclaimed as she and Omega were dealt damage by Iblis' claws, with both of them spiraling upwards as they were launched out of the tornado, being high in the apocalyptic dark sky as they fell through the red clouds, with them landing on a broken green skyscraper as the entire tower collapsed upon both of them making contact.

Mephiles The Dark was playing cards with the evil witch Gruntilda Winkybunion, who was in her robotic body from BK Nuts and Bolts as they watched the skyscraper topple, glancing at each other.

"Do you want to go get them out for your 'furnace fun'?" Mephiles asked as he moved his crystallized left hand around, which had several cards in it.

Thinking about it, Gruntilda shook her head as she picked up a card from the deck with her robotic right hand. "Nah, I rather have new blood. Those two would be like sticks in the mud."

"...Huh. I would have never connected blood and mud with rhyming." Mephiles responded as he placed his right hand on his crystallized chin, nodding in response.
