"Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored..." Dry Bowser, Silver The Hedgehog, Petey Piranha, and Toadette all muttered as they were sitting on the couch in their headquarters.

"There's nothing to do." Dry Bowser remarked as he folded his skeletal arms together.

"I'm so bored..." Toadette whined as she tilted her head back. "I'm not even motivated to eat."

"It's no use... trying to think of anything to make us not bored." Silver added as he had his face resting on his right hand, his right elbow on the couch's arm.

Petey let out a giant yawn as he had his gigantic leaves on his face, shaking his head.

"I would be propositioning a speech, but I just know that it would bore you guys even more," Silver stated as he moved his hands around.

Dry Bowser watched R.O.B. hovering past the group, pointing at him with his skeletal left hand. "Hey, robot. Where are you going?"

R.O.B. sighed as he turned around, facing the others. "I'm going to go read a book. If you're all bored, I suggest you do the same."

Several seconds of silence passed as Toadette spoke up, raising her left hand.

"But why? Isn't reading for chumps?" Toadette asked as she tilted her head to the right.

Silver sighed in annoyance as he placed his left hand on his face, shaking his head. "You just insulted everyone who's reading this right now, Toadette."

Toadette meekly shrugged as R.O.B. narrowed his robotic, yellow colored eyes.

"Make fun of me all you want, but your minds will never have a chance to flourish and grow if you just keep sitting there," R.O.B. remarked as he shook his robotic head, turning around and continuing to hover towards the western direction.

The four characters looked at each other, blinking as they realized that R.O.B. had made a good point. Dry Bowser stood up, stretching his bones as he placed his hands on his skeletal hips.

"I don't know about reading, but I'm definitely not letting my mind go to waste," Dry Bowser remarked as he left the living room, heading out of the headquarters and going eastward.

Silver, Toadette, and Petey all exchanged glances with each other as they shrugged, deciding to head out as well as they parted ways, trying to think of a way to not make their day a complete, total waste.
