However, before the class is about to enter McDonald's, they were roused by sounds of screaming, which Todoroki saw the source as a group of robbers are using tools like hammers and wrenches in smashing glass display which the scene shows that the robbers are in the midst of stealing jewelry at a nearby jewel shop, and there Todoroki told his classmates about the situation.

Kirishima clenched his fists and said that a little exercise before lunch doesn't sound like a bad idea, and Iida instructed Kirishima to use his Quirk to harden his body and then instructed Sato to assist Kirishima while telling Uraraka, Jiro, Asui and Hagakure to assist in keeping onlookers back while telling Todoroki to use his ice Quirk to block the robbers' escape routes.

The scene shifts at the jewel shop as the robbers continue to ransack the jewels and are ready to escape when Kirishima and Sato showed up and told the robbers to surrender, which they scoffed, believing that they are just ordinary high school students and they raised their tools before proceeding to attack the two teens, but Kirishima uses his Quirk to harden his body and thus withstood the attacks before Sato intervened and punched the robbers into submission.

The other robbers slowly recognized the two teens and told the others to start running, fearing that other UA Academy students are here, which the cohorts nodded in acknowledgement.
