A week after Samira's death

I walked on the slaver's path towards Astapor. 'I need men that I can trust to have my back. It just sucks that nothing in here can help me get there faster.'

I pulled things out of my mother's bag. She had made it larger on the inside. The amount of gold and silver that was inside was crazy. 'Was she planning this since I was born?' The amount was enough to allow him to live like the king for my entire life. The craziest part was the petrified eggs that were inside. I pushed my magic inside to check what it was. The eggs seemed to resonate with his magic as if a fire had been placed inside.

Well, thankfully his book had made it to his uncle. Though he had no real family bonds, he knew they still cared. 'Mom had always made sure to make me aware of the going ons. I just wish she was still here.'

Thankfully, there were no one around to see him, because I will admit. I cried. A lot if I am being honest. It was bad enough she had died, but to how she died was the cause. Poison. Of course they wouldn't be able to best her in combat. Still, it hurt. The two eggs seemed to hum to me as I sat down setting up camp.

Out in the road, it would normally be a good thing to light a fire. The warmth would allow you to ward off creatures and the freezing air of the desert. The downside is you became a beacon for any and all raiders in the night. It was really chill tonight.

Not my greatest idea in hindsight. I created a small fire placing the eggs near it as they seemed to enjoy the fire. I stared at the eggs as they seemed to just breathe in the fire. 'I wonder if they need more heat.' I thought as I placed the black eggs into fire.

I continued to stare at them in the fire as if I was in a trance. That was until the group of men walked up. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" I heard as I slowly pulled the sword from my bag.

"Listen, you are welcome to sit but please leave me be." I said as the 5 men walked into his camp. I started to push my magic through my body, just how mom taught me.

"Well, if you give us all your valuables. I am sure we can make a compromise." The man who looked to be the leader of this group.

"See that is a problem. I don't have any." I said slowly pulling my mother's blade from the bag. The blade slowly pulling from the sheath.

"Now, no need to lie. Your clothes look too perfect to not." A man on my right called out as he pulled his blade near my throat.

I pulled my blade out slashing the first man as he got close enough. Watching the blood fly into my fire onto my eggs. Pulling my dagger out, I threw it into the leader's throat before he could react. '2 down.' I thought as I pulled my mother's Valerian Steel blade out of the man's chest charging the third man that had yet to even realize what was happening.

'3 down.' I thought as the blade sank into the man's throat. Pulling it out, I turned to the two remaining men. "Do you really wish to continue?" I asked, knowing that they were going to run, like the cowards they are.

"Fuck this!" The man on right yelled and ran.

"So, you think this is going to end well?" I asked as I ran towards the turning to run man. My blade ran through him as his back was turned. "Now, what should I do with you?"

"Please, spare me! I was forced into this life. Please spare me." The young man maybe only a bit older than me, threw down his blade.

"Hmm, now you wish for me to spare you? What would have happened if I was in your position?" I asked as I pulled Dragon's Tooth out of the leader's skull.

"Please... I will do whatever you want!" The man cried out.

"Whatever I want?" I asked as the man was at my mercy.

"Yes! Please..." The young man cried out.

"Then, I want you swear eternal loyalty." I said as I was not in the mood for anything else.

"I will, I will swear it." The young man called out.

"Stick out your hand." I commanded as I pulled my dagger across my hand releasing a slight stream of blood.

"Here..." The man looked up to me as I slashed his hand slightly making him wince.

"You will have to agree to the terms. Know this I will not ask you of anything I feel would cause you to die." I started the ritual, the blood magic from his shadowland's heritage.

"Do you swear to follow my orders and be there to guard my back? To be my sword to attack my enemies? To be my confidant to talk my worries?" I asked as my magic flared.

"I, Daemon Sand, son of Ryon Allyrion, swear to be follow your orders, to guard your back, be your sword to fight your enemies, and confidant when my council is asked." Daemon said letting the magic wash over him. It was better than being dead.

"I, Hadrian Stark, son of Benjen Stark, swear to bring you honor, give you a home when needed, give you food at my table, and when you need be your friend that will protect your secrets." I said as the magic finished our pact. "So, Daemon, what does a bastard son of House Allyrion doing in Essos mugging people?"

"Well, we weren't suppose to be mugging honestly. We were in-between contracts and our mercanary group, the Shadow's Blade, were forced us away from the main camp." Daemon explained. "We were attacked by another group and most of us were killed."

"I see, well your men attacked the wrong person. I have been in a horrid mood because of the death of my mother." I explained as I pulled the armor and gold from the men. "Well, now that your fellow mercs are dead you no longer need to worry about if their gear is ours."

"Yeah..." Daemon started to talk before we heard a crack that did not seem like wood breaking. "What was..."

I turned to the fire. Inside was 2 little dragons curled up next to each other. "My god! It is actually dragons..." Daemon said as I reached in putting my hand into fire to pull them out.

"Well, now I know what they were missing..." I stated as I moved to pull them together. "Hello, my little Sirius and Samira."

3 weeks had passed since the dragons had hatched and with it became them a whole new headache for Hadrian. "I swear if that little shit keeps slapping me with his wing to wake me up at the crack of dawn, I am going to tie him to a post and leave him in the desert." Daemon stated as he came out of his part of the tent.

"Sirius stop pestering Daemon." Hadrian said to his black dragon.

Sirius roared back to him as he hopped over to the saphire colored Samira. "Why is he like this? Samira is not like this." Daemon complained.

"Honestly, he is similar to someone I feel like I know. Issue is the memory is a blur. My mom used to tell me they were memories of my past life but they do not make any sense." Hadrian explained.

"Well great. I am stuck here with dragons and a man who has full of visions he thinks are visions of the future. What did my oath get me into?" Daemon muttered.

"If you only knew." Hadrian said under his breathe.

The reason they were going to Astapor and the slave cities was because he needed first an army and second slaves to help him with his vision. He wanted to make a city. Not just any city though he wanted to build a castle and city that was meant to have his magic in it. The city will be seen as a safe haven for all. He needs an army to protect his new place.

"Well, we are a couple hours out from Astapor. Come on let's get into the city. We can figure out what to do afterwards." Daemon explained getting up from the chair from their table in the tent. "I still can't believe magic exists."

'There is more than you think.' Hadrian thought as both Sirius and Samira followed him out. In the 3 weeks since they started traveling together, Hadrian and Daemon had traveled across the desert in the harshest sunlight. They had used Hadrian's magic to get water for them and the dragons. With the extra person and dragons it had put strain on their food supplies. Thankfully the dragons seemed to know what as expected of them from Hadrian. They seemed to have bonded to him as Daemon had.

Hadrian walked with Daemon for the next several hours brushing up on the man's Valerian. Hadrian on the other hand was sifting through his memories. At first they came as visions when he was younger but his mother had always told him to avoid looking into them. She even went as far as using magic to seal them away. Unfortunately now though she was gone. The memories had come back as visions of his past.

VISION HARRY

Harry walked into the safe house he had setup for when he was out on the hunt of a new dark lord. This in particular safe house had been setup on a layline and had allowed him to access the magic of the planet to have all the amenities that Hogwarts had provided. 'Crazy to think that Dumbledore or any Headmaster before or after him had not setup more to the wards that the great castle had.' Harry thought as he went to his own ward them he added an additional to detoxify his food and water.'This should do for now.' Harry thought as he looked out to the ocean. The ward had expanded over the years as Harry had lost Ginny. Thank god his sons and daughter had been at Hogwarts at the time. But that prompted him to create multiple said safe-houses. Though none were as strong as this one. The wards prevented all that wished him harm. Slowly weakened enemies granting him strength. He had placed the wards to encase a small town miles out to enhance what he needed. 'The people actually thought he had just made the place better by technology.' He thligh as he added another ward stone to the area. 'No matter. The people provide for me and I provide for them. Equivalent exchange. After all this one of the few places that remain in England anyways. His own personal Avalon.'

Hadrian did not know what those runes meant. His past life had a reason for his acts but he feared he will never know. The crazy thing is the man had a wand that helped him with his magic while Hadrian used his mother's sword to use the blood he extracted from enemies. Apparently it was a how his mother used her magic. The runes on the blade glowed causing the blade to become blood red. 'How much blood did mom obtain?' Hadrian thought as the blade was almost black with the amount of blood.

Hadrian watched as Astapor came closer to view. "There is our start." Hadrian said as he had Sirius on his shoulder.

"What are you going to do if they don't want to sell to you?" Daemon asked.

"Then we become conquerers and take it with fire and blood." Hadrian stated as he walked towards the city.

Astapor

The Good Masters watched as each man and child walked into their walls. They had all seen the red comet a month ago. "My lords, 2 men wish to buy unsullied and other slaves." Missandei a 13 year old girl spoke to the man who owned her in Valerian.

"Well, if a fool wishes to spend their gold who are we to judge." One of the men stated as he got up. "Go get the men ready. We must be ready to make money." He said as he cracked his whip.

"What should I tell them?" Missandei questioned fearing getting whipped.

"Have them meet us at the training field you stupid woman!" The man with the whip replied.

Missandei quickly walked out of the room going towards the two men.

Hadrian watched as the girl not much older than him walked into their room. "The Masters will see you now." She stated as she opened the door for them.

"Why do you have a bruise on your face?" Hadrian asked as he looked at the woman.

"My master saw it fit that I was punished because I did not do something properly. It was my own fault." Missandei stated in Valerian hoping the men would not understand.

"Well, whatever it is, it isn't our business is it." Daemon stated as he noticed Hadrian tensing.

"What is your name?" Hadrian asked the girl as they walked.

"Missandei" short and to the point.

"Oh, what do you do for the masters?" Hadrian probed.

"I am a translator as well as personal maid for my master. I currently know 15 languages and dialects." Missandei replied.

"Hmm, interesting." Hadrian replied while his mind raced. His magic was flaring as he watched the girl in front of him. His blood demanded she become his.

They continued to walk in silence as Hadrian prepared himself for his first time dealing with true vile men. All to soon for his liking they arrived to the training ground that had thousands of soldiers lined up in waiting.

"Welcome to our city. We were informed that you will be in need of slaves as well as soldiers." The master closest to the them from their platform said as Missandei translated.

"Yes, I am in the need for multiple people. I wish to create a fortune of my own as an owner." Hadrian stated to the men.

"This arrogant boy, he is barely without his mother's breast and yet he wishes to make a fortune." Missandei's owner stated as he watched from the middle of the group. The man seemed to be the man in charge so to speak.

"He wishes to know how many men, women and children you require to buy?" Missandei stated as she knew if she said was really stated she would be punished.

"I wish to have a 500 men 500 women with 100 children. As for soldiers I require all that you currently have." Hadrian stated as he flared his magic as the blood from his blade seemed to drip out without ever touching the ground.

"Well as arrogance will be his reason, we have 20,000 fine this bastard will have to pay. 2,000,000 gold pieces for all." The leader of the masters stated as he wanted to squeeze every drop of gold from the young man.

"Their price is 2 million gold pieces." Missandei replied removing the comments.

"Fine, but first…." Hadrian started in Westeroian before switching to Valerian. "I would expect you to at least try to know your clients before insulting them."

Blood seemed to drop more from his blade as he started to concentrate his magic. "You all seem to enjoy taking money from the labor of others." Hadrian stated as he waved his hands towards the Unsullied. "I will not impede you. However, try to rob me again and no army will save you."

Hadrian started to walk towards the men as his magic froze all around him. "Blood MAGIC! Guards! Kill this man!" multiple of the masters called out but no one heard anything.

"You see, I know about you, masters of Astapor." Hadrian started as he finished his walk to their platform. "I am not someone to mess with. I am Hadrian Stark, son of Benjen Stark and Samira Blackblood."

Many of the man shuddered at the name of the woman who willing went into the fighting pits. The woman who slaughtered thousands. The woman who killed the last Masters of the city.

"Ah, I see you recognize her name. Well, now that you know who I am, I demand a certain price. For the Unsullied and slaves I will give you 500,000 gold pieces. But for the disrespect, I demand blood." Hadrian stated as he pulled his blade. "Either your blood or blood of a slave I do not care wish."

"Take her! She is fresh virgin blood!" The leader of the masters said as Missandei shuddered, she did not wish to die.

"Good, I will be then." Hadrian stated as he pulled a chest out of his pack. "500,000 gold dragons. Now the command whip?"

"Yes, of course." The oldest master said as he pulled the whip from behind them.

"Good. Gentlemen, I wish to say it has been pleasant but both know it has been a lie." Hadrian said as he walked over grabbing the whip. "I expect 10 ships for the slaves to be transferred in. Come Missandei."

"Unsullied, you are hereby under my command." Hadrian said as he walked down from their platform. "I request you work with me and once my goals have been met you will be free. Who is your commander?"

"I am Sorcerer. I am known as Blackhide." Blackhide a slightly older than the rest walked out.

"Hmm, I am known as Hadrian. Today, and until your last you are all technically free men. I do not wish to own you however, wish to have your services. I need men to help protect me and others. Can I trust you and your men?" Hadrian said low enough that the masters could not hear but the commander could holding his arm out in a shake.

Blackhide looked at the young man before grasping his arm. "The masters will not be happy about this." Missandei stated to Hadrian as they began their match out.

"Well, before they figure out what happened we should leave then." Hadrian said with a cheeky grin.

"Where are we going anyways?" Daemon asked as the next part of the plan was not told.

"To create Avalon." Hadrian said as his exit sparked something that no man or woman in Essos, Westeros, and beyond could count for.
