As his mother began to explain, Sonic and Tails looked over to Sonic, while Sonic looked out the window and looked down on the city. "Dad. What's the matter, you look like you're in a great mood. Is there something you want to tell me?" As he nodded and looked back over towards the house, Sonic started moving towards the house. As Sonic began to do so, he noticed a large white truck, which could be read as a truck carrying white powder, pull away from the scene. The sight of the white truck gave shock in Sonic. "What is that?" As his mother continued on about the truck, Sonic looked towards the truck in a panic. The truck appeared to have a few large spikes on its sides, and a small hole in the front. "Oh. Right. That. Sonic, what is that thing?" As his mother continued speaking about the truck, Sonic started out of his room quickly, as he began walking.
"What is that thing?" As he heard his mother call out, Sonic began to approach the truck. While walking, Sonic continued looking at the sight of the truck. As he had been looking at it for the past three minutes, the truck slowly started turning, before its front tires began to roll off. The sound of the vehicle falling off came to Sonic, as a large amount of dust became trapped on him. "Uh, are you okay? What the hell is this mess?" As Sonic had stopped, Sonic glanced around him and saw that there was a small part of pavement that had completely covered the area. As Sonic continued to look at the scene in horror, several people in orange jumpsuits looked in his direction. As the man had started talking, Sonic was suddenly shocked to see that he was Sonic's father, Eggman. As Sonic's father spoke to his son in the Japanese language (known as "Megamix"), he began to shake and his eyes welled up with tears. Finally, Sonic's father said, "Son...I'm sorry about the...what happened." Sonic's father looked upset at the loss he had recently experienced in order to explain his loss to his son, before looking down as he asked, "...I was watching over your…family, and it all came to an end because of you, and the fact is…you…will soon go to the grave. And you, Sonic, will be with my family for the rest of your life…
