Chapter – 26
The request – SAO Integral fragments
Previously on SAO integral fragments
Everyone smiled at me with warm smiles and reassuring looks, I felt like I could go back inside and see what Kikuoka wanted me to do next… although, something bothered me in the back in my mind… one of these friends of mine… are a traitor…
You: Irgh… *I open the door*
As I open the door, the bell rings and we all see Kikuoka still sitting in the table with a cup of tea on the desk.
Kikuoka: "Slirp" Hmm… *he puts down the cup* so… you guys are back.
Now on SAO Integral fragments
XeXeeD: The notion of AGI is all-mighty… that's just an illusion! Sure, AGI is a critical attribute. "Rapid firing" and "Avoidance rate" if you were maxed out in those two areas, you could join the ranks of the powerful… until now at least.
Here I am, watching a video Kikuoka told me and Kirito to watch. He asked everyone to wait outside because he wanted to speak with me and Kirito alone. At first everyone was hesitant, myself included but Kirito said that if we wanted to get more information out of him, we had to do as he said. I accepted but didn't felt right after calling everyone here, as far as I'd knew, Kikuoka didn't seem like a bad man but… he didn't seem to be the nicest either. If anything, he reminds me of him… Akihiko Kayaba, who is still locked up in the black iron palace, nobody has been able to see him ever since the floors got shutdown. With both mans, I had no love… but no hatred either, it was more like… curiosity, I feeling of me wanting to know what they are thinking. We might have different thoughts… but we might share the same goal.
Anyways, getting back on topic, Kikuoka made Kirito and me watch this short prerecorded broadcast about an interview about a top ranking gamers named XeXeeD and Yamikaze from a game called, "Gun Gale Online" a game that is apparently based on shooting weapons. You could say that it's a game based on gun survival instead of sword survival, for some reason Kikuoka wanted us to watch it so here we are, watching the broadcast.
XeXeeD: but it doesn't work that way anymore. So all you sad wrecks who spent eight months boosting your stats, I have one thing to say to you… My condolences!
You: Wow, he makes Kibaou look like a class act.
Kirito: Look at the comments, everyone is booing at him. They must either not like him at all or they all just feel jealous because of how tall and mighty he is appearing.
Moderator: jusr what you'd expect from the top player of the most demanding of today's VRMMO's, Gun Gale online! Your comments are extreme!
XeXeeD: Well, this could be the first and final time I'll be invited onto M-ST.
Moderator: Oh please! You've set your sights on the upcoming Bullet of Bullets, too, haven't you?
XeXeeD: damn right I have. And as long as I am competing, I'll be gunning to win! *he says flipping his hair*
You: he seems to be very confident of himself, I wonder if that's how he is in real life though.
Yamikaze: But listen, Mr. XeXeeD. BoB is a solo encounter-oriented game. Meaning there's no guarantee that doing something twice will yield the same result. I am not sure why you'd imply that you won based on attribute type.
XeXeeD: No, no— you could say that this result exposed the overall trend within GGO. Your AGI-Oriented, Mr. Yamikaze, so I get that you're in denial.
Yamikaze: Hrr…
XeXeeD: Yes, until now! Boosting your AGI and pumping live bullets from powerful firearms was the best style. But by their very nature, MMO's go through ever-changing shifts in balance. Especially since with level-oriented games, you basically can't switch out your attributes. You have to constantly think ahead and be smart about using your points. Its not giving that the best style in one level zone will be the best in the next. The firearms in the future will have higher and higher STR requirements and accuracy. *he flips his hair* that's why, in the end, the full power of the player himself will— AUGH…!
You and Kirito: Hmm?
XeXeeD started to behave strangely, his face widen like as if he was in a lot of pain. He held his chest, snot and saliva came out from his face and then eventually got disconnected from the server.
Moderator: Oh, my! His connection seems to have been lost. I'm sure he'll be up and running again soon.
You: Okay… that was weird.
Kirito: Why did you show us this anyway?
Kikuoka: *he grabs a tablet* take a look at this.
A picture along with the BIO data of a man named, Tamatsu Shigemura, age 26, dead.
Kikuoka: this happened November 14. The landlord of the apartment complex in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, was cleaning the place when he noticed an unpleasant smell. Wondering what it could be, he disabled the automatic lock, and ventured in, there he discovered this man Tamotsu Shigemaru, dead. He'd apparently been dead for five days.
You: five days?
Kikuoka: Although the room was untidy, there were no signs that it has been ransacked and the body was lying on the bed. And on his head was an amusphere.
You: Amusphere?
Kikuoka: a gaming headset that works similarly to a Nervegear; However, it has been tested and confirmed to be safe for a user to use without having to worry about dying. As such, it was ruled an unnatural death, so there was an autopsy. The cause of death was determined to be acute heart failure.
Kirito: A hear failure? Why did it happened?
Kikuoka: We don't know. Since too much time had elapsed since he'd died, and there was little evidence of foul play, the autopsy wasn't very thorough. But it seems that he hadn't eaten for two days while being logged in the whole time.
You: But that's not rare, when it comes to hardcore gamers, they will play games from days to weeks without eating or sleeping and they'd still be alive and kicking. Heck, even we haven't eaten in years because we're stuck here, so I wouldn't say that was the cause of the heart failure.
Kirito: Yeah, its not very unusual. Whats up with this case, anyway?
Kikuoka: The game he had installed was Gun Gale Online. You two know it?
You: I did hear that it under development right after the SAO beta test ended, wasn't very interested in it though. I just had SAO in mind.
Kikuoka: This man had won a tournament held last October to decide the most powerful player in Gun Gale Online, also known as GGO. His character's name was XeXeeD.
Kirito: then when he died, he was still logged into GGO?
Kikuoka: No, he was appearing as XeXeeD's avatar on the program you just watched called MMO Stream. We know what time that was from the logs. And then, although his information has yet to be confirmed, at the precise moment that he suffered the heart attack, something odd happened within GGO, according to a certain user's blog.
Kirito: Odd?
Kikuoka: it seems that in a certain bar at that precise moment, there was a player who started acting out strangely. Here is the audio. *he plays the audio*
Deep robotic voice: XeXeeD! You spurious victor! Face the justice of true power! "BANG" this is true power. This is what true strength is about! You ignorant fools, carve my name into your minds-with fear! My name, and the name if this gun… is Death Gun!
You: Hmm… that voiced sounded very deep and robotic. Almost like as If he was intentionally hiding his real voice. (That sounded just like the traitors voice… could it had been them?)
Kikuoka: A player who was watching him happened to be recording the audio, and he uploaded it to a video site. Since the file contained a Japan Standard time counter, we know that the shot fired at the TV and Shigemura's sudden disappearance while appearing on the show happened at the same time.
Kirito: yeah but, it could have all been a coincidence.
Kikuoka: there is another incedent.
You and Kirito: hmm?
Kikuoka: this one happened November 28th. Somewhere in Saitama city, Saitama prefecture. Again, a body was found inside a room in a two-story apartment building. When a newspaper salesmen happened to look inside, there was a person lying on the bed wearing an Amusphere and again, an unpleasant odor surrounded the apartment and the cause of death was, again, a heart failure. He was another powerful GGO player. His character name was… Usushio Tarako.
You: Usushio Tarako? (Low-Sodium Cod Roe? What kind of name is that?)
Kikuoka: at the time, he was in the central Plaza in Glocken, taking part in a squadron, I hear that's what they call guilds, meetings. He was shot there by a player who stormed in.
Kirito: Was it the same guy who shot XeXeeD?
Kikuoka: probably. After tossing words like judgment and power, he identified himself the same character name.
You: you mean… Death gun?
Kikuoka: that's right.
Kirito: Death… gun…?
You: they are English terms. Death means dead and gun means the weapon...
Kirito: Hmm… those two, they really did die of hear failure, right?
Kikuoka: what do you mean?
Kirito: there weren't any damages on the brains?
Kikuoka: I wondered about that, too, so I asked the doctor who performed the autopsy, but he said nothing was amiss about their brains. And also, whereas the NerveGear generated enough high-output microwaves to fry signal elements and destroy the brain, the Amusphere is designed not to emit such powerful electromagnetic waves. Or so the developers declared.
Kirito: Hmm… you've come very well informed within SAO Mr. Kikuoka.
You: although these stories are… disturbing, to put it lightly, how do you even know they are not just coincidences and rumors?
Kikuoka: Well, even I think that there's a 90 percent chance of it being either a coincidence or a hoax, so I'm just speaking hypothetically here. But tell me… (You) and Kirito… do you two think it is possible to stop a players heart with in-game gunfire?
You and Kirito: Mm…
At this point, I believed anything was possible, so to say that if its possible to kill someone in game with a gunfire isn't impossible, I would believe it.
Kirito: personally, I don't think its possible.
You: regardless of what I think, why is it that you are bringing this down on us? Shouldn't the men out in the real world be solving this case?
Kikuoka: Well, as it stands, neither of these deaths were the result of the in-game gunshots, so the police didn't take much interest in it and, just like you two, concluded that they're deaths were just mere coincidence. But I, personally, think that this case goes in much deeper then we think. That's why I am here to ask you two… will you log into Gun Gale Online and make contact with this Death gun person?
You: (Shocker. He came here to get something out of us) just say it, you want me and Kirito to get shot by Death gun.
Kikuoka: No… well…
Kirito: Hell no! what if something went wrong?! We are leaving!
Kikouka, as a last attempt, gets down on both knees and begins begging us.
Kikuoka: W-Wait, please hear me out at least. We already confirmed that getting shot in-game isn't the cause of death. Besides, this Death gun character seems to have extremely strict criteria for his targets.
You: Criteria? Do you mean, he has specific targets?
Kikuoka: Y-Yes. Both XeXeeD and Usushio Tarako were renowned top players. Meaning that hes not likely to shoot weak players. Probably. Since Dr. Kayaba proclaimed you two to be the strongest, then you would—
You: Whoa, whoa, whoa, how do you know that?
Kikuoka: We were able to make a small connection to the lower floors of Aincrad and that was when we found an open space between the black iron palace and were able to make a connection with Mr. Kayaba. He said that you two are the strongest players of them all.
You: heh, flattery won't get him nowhere. Besides, even if it were true, GGO must be teaming with professionals.
Kikuoka: What do you mean by that?
You: for starters, this Gun Gale Online game seems to be based mostly on shooting range weapons, the only experience we ever had are with swords. Even with our stats converted into GGO, we wouldn't be any close to those in the higher ranks who have years of experience. They are professionals.
Kirito: besides, its just an occult kind of tale that you can find all over the internet.
Kikuoka: Actually, it's the higher-ups who are concerned. The effect of the full-five technology on the real world is the hottest topic in all fields today. Before the forces that will surely try to regulate it use this incident to their advantage, before the forces that will surely try to regulate it use this incident to their advantage. We want to get a grasp on all the facts. We want to know without a doubt. I will also compensate you two for our collaboration fee. *he shows three fingers* this much.
You and Kirito: "Gulp"
He didn't have to be a gangster to know how much that was.
Kikuoka: does this work for you two?
You and Kirito: Mm…
Kikuoka: I wouldn't like for just one to enter GGO all by themselves, that's why I am asking the two of you, so you two can have each other's back. The more the merrier as they say.
You: But if you are really willing to get to the bottom of this, wouldn't it save you time if you went directly to the admins?
Kikuoka: ZASKAR, the company that developed and operates GGO, has servers based on the U.S. they haven't made their phone number nor their email address public. Never mind the address of the physical office. Ever since the seed was released, shady-looking VR worlds have been popping up right and left.
You: Hmm… (How come Seed has already made a big impact if Seed was inside the Cardinal system of SAO from the beginning? Heck, SAO wasn't even available when the games were in development. So how come they got access to the seed?)
Kikuoka: for that reason, if you want to discover the truth, the only option is to attempt direct contact in-game. Needless to say, we have already taken maximum precautions. I am not asking you two to get yourselves shot. Just evaluate the situation from your own impressions, and I'll be satisfied. Needless to say… you two are my only hope, there is no one else we can ask for… so, will you two go?
You: Mm… let me make another guess… my Fluctlight is in that VR world, isn't it?
Kikuoka: Oh yeah, we were so focused on the deaths I nearly forgot about the second reason. Yes, we have confirmed that the next piece of your fluctlight, or Integral fragments as you call it, is somewhere within GGO. That is another reason of why I want you to go. We fear that it might have already been found by someone within the game.
You: why do you say that?
Kikuoka: we found traces of its energy spreading within the game, causing weird reactions and changes within the game. We can't prove for sure that it is the cause of the deaths but, if its energy is being spread, then that means that someone is manipulating it, from within the game. It is still not too late though, the energy is too weak to impact the game but we cannot afford to waste any more time.
Kirito and I faced each other, clearly concerned but... our minds made up. We have both witnessed deaths throughout SAO and every time we had… we wondered if we could have done something… but now, we can… but… this wasn't going to be easy. Heck, when is it ever.
The next day
You: and that's pretty much it.
Koharu and Asuna: HUH?!
Koharu: do you really expect me to just let you go off to an all killing game where you can get easily killed with guns all by yourself?!
Asuna: you guys need help, no way can you two do it all on your own!
Kirito: W-We have no choice. Kikuoka is going to create GGO accounts for (You) and me specifically and he said that once we enter GGO, the entrance will be sealed off.
You: not to mention that Kirito and I are the only ones that are in a safe location, a location where Kikuoka sent us both for better safety observation. Look, I know I said that I wouldn't leave any of you behind but this is a request from the government, this goes beyond our control.
Sachi: But still… we already agreed that we'd help you.
Yuna: isn't there anyway we can convince this Kikuoka guy to let us go?
You: We already did, but he said that the cut outs for registration for the next event have already been dropped off and he said that he wanted me and Kirito specifically. Look, I know how worried you must feel but if there is any reassurance, Kikuoka is going to transmit the battles within GGO here in SAO live.
Asuna: he is?
You: Think of it as Kikuoka compensating everyone for this request. You all may not be able to come, but... you can watch Kirito and I fight. Don't worry, we'll be safe. As far as we know, players don't die from being shot in-game, we'll just go into this game and look for my fluctlight and then report back to Kikuoka about the changes it's made there.
Koharu: Still… I really don't approve of you going into a different game all on your own…
You: I know, I know. Believe me when I say, I would actually feel safer if you'd come with me, we've faced everything together up till this point… but things are different at the moment and doubt is a luxury we can't afford right now.
Kirito: Besides, we already agreed that we'd do it.
You: that's why we're here. At the next portal gate.
Mito: And there is nothing more we can say to change your minds.
You: We know you all want to help… but this is something we must do on our own.
Kirito: We promise, we will be back.
Sinon: Hang on.
Sinon then walks in front of us with demanding eyes. Eyes I've only ever seen her do when she is facing a serious battle.
Sinon: I am going.
You: Sinon, what do you—?
Sinon: Look, I know this game… that's the game I first played. I know everything about it and everything you must know. You are going to need a guide if you wish to get to the bottom of this.
Kirito: but Sinon, what if you—?
Sinon: what if I die? It's just a game, if I am going to die then I'd at least have the courage to face it in a game. I know everything there is to know about GGO. You two are going to need my experience.
You: Hmm… but—
Koharu: I would actually feel much safer if she goes with you.
You: Koharu?
Asuna: if we can't come with you two, then at least let her go along. If what she is saying is true, you two are going to need her more than anyone.
You: but Kikuoka only made accounts for Kirito and me.
Sinon: I already have an account within GGO as well. That won't be an issue.
I looked at Kirito and, surely enough, we both had the same expressions. If what she is saying is true… then we could might as well use her help.
You: *I sigh* okay, but remember, we have no idea what we are going to be facing. Stay near us.
Sinon: Roger.
The three of us stood in front of the gate and I placed the light cube on the square space in the center. It was very early in the morning, so all the players were still asleep. No one will see us or question us, our friends had things covered in SAO and with Asuna back, the assaults will run smoothly… at least I hope so.
"Shwiiiing!"
With a flash of bright yellow, the portal activates and it summons a yellow portal. The same it did with ALO.
You: Alright, here we go.
Koharu: wait (You). *she grabs my hand* please… please for the love of god… come back safely… to me, to us. *she says on the verge of tears*
Twilight: Big brother… please come back safe.
Both of them looked at me with concerned, making me feel bad for half lying to them…
You: Mm… I promise. And you know how seriously I take my promises. And… *I hand them the phone* if at any point, something happens, call Kikuoka for questions. That phone is the only way to communicate to the real world.
Koharu: Okay… be safe. *she says as she takes the phone*
You: I will.
Asuna: the same goes to you Kirito.
Yui: Please be safe Daddy.
Kirito: don't worry Yui, Asuna. I will be back, with Sinon and (You).
Everyone waved at us goodbye with worried expressions on their faces as we began to enter the portal. Here we go… to Gun Gale Online.
"ShoowOOOoouuOooouuOOuu"
The world revolves around me and the same calibration test of the Nervegear sets passed before my eyes. Touch, sense, vision, taste, sound, all senses confirmed... and since Kikuoka already accounted for me, I had no need to choose or customize my avatar, the game began and a flash of black and yellow digital codes appeared before me. This technology seemed a little more advanced, I'm surprised the Nervegear can handle it. On the other hand, I've heard that some games can still run on different sets of hardware, but they may not calibrate the better graphical designs that were originally implemented in the game. Well, I'm not here to play, I'm here to investigate.
You: Mm…
I could feel myself touching the ground, without a doubt, I was loaded in the game... it smelled of gunpowder and oil. It reminded me of the stench that the nearby factories would display.
You: *I opened my eyes*
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a dark gray district where I saw players dressed as soldiers or hitmen. I looked down and saw myself and the avatar the game generated for me. It looked like I was wearing dark blue boots with my pants of the same color, I was wearing dark gloves on my palms along with a blue vest under a white jacket on the front, a metal chest plate in the middle, and a blue belt. My avatar seemed to be mostly blue and when I pressed my palms together, I knew my avatar was ready... but...
You: Hmm? Where is Kirito and Sinon? Weren't we supposed to spawn together… or could it be… that there are different areas to spawn in? Geez, if that's the case then so much for coming together… guess I'll just haft to walk around and see if I can find anyone…
As I started walking, I realized that most of the players had their sights set on me. Heck, and why wouldn't they? After all, I'm the novice player, it's like a kindergarten kid entering a high school classroom, most of the players here were intimidating, with scars and tattoos on their faces, it was like entering a territory of gangsters.
You: Man, this place is intense. But this is a gun based game so Pkilling is the goal of this game. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with this since I promised not to kill anymore... but this is a safe game, so it's not like I'm going to kill anyone. At least I really, REALLY hope so.
A few hours later
You: Geez, I have been walking for hours and haven't found anyone. And now it seems I am lost as well. How is one even supposed to start this game? Isn't there a tutorial for this game or something? "Bing"
A notification pops in front of me asking for a tutorial, it seems that it was inviting me to learn the basics of the game.
You: a tutorial huh? Hey… the letters underneath are in Japanese but the paragraphs above it are in English, I can understand it plain as day. It's been a while since I read and spoken English, I've even gotten a little rusty. Now that I remember, Kikuoka did say that GGO was developed in the U.S. So for it to have English subtitles as a main language wouldn't be surprising. Well, better than having nothing, let's see what this does. *I press yes*
When I press Yes a human sized orb starts teleporting me to a different area, before I know it I was standing in a high tech testing chamber, I knew this from all the training weapons and dummies displayed everywhere.
You: Hmm, is this it?
?: Glad you could make it underling!
You: E-Excuse me?
It was then when I met, the baffling training lady… she was blond, had a big rack, wore short pants and had a very annoying personality. Didn't left much for imagination if I may say so myself…
Baffling training lady: Now listen up! What is it you are here for?!
You: W-well—
Baffling training lady: too slow! You are here to survive! Here, there are monsters, robots and people that will kill you in any place, anywhere! Your only hope to survival is that you train up with one of these! *she grabs an Assault rifle* do you know what this is underling?!
You: A-An assault rifle?
Baffling training lady: Good, you were able to see the differences in weapon type. If you wish to last for at least five seconds out there, you will need to learn the basics of handling a weapon! Here you are to address me as Ma'am and do everything I say when I say! I will train you to handle a gun even if I haft to kill you, is that understood?!
You: U-Uh—
Baffling training lady: Do you not know how to speak?! When I say if that's understood you say yes ma'am! Now I will ask you again, is that understood?!
You: Y-Yes ma'am!
Baffling training lady: Good, now! *she shoves me the rifle* get a good grip on that rifle and aim at the target!
You: Whoa now! I never handled a gun in my life!
Baffling training lady: hold the upper part with one hand and the other with the barrel, make sure that your finger is on the trigger when you are ready to fire! Hold down your shoulders!
You: Mm…
Looking at the target, I saw a circle going from small to big as I aim.
Baffling training lady: By now you must be seeing a circle in your field of vision! That circle is your aiming assist, it will fire a bullet through any random area inside it! Its controlled by your breathing and heartbeat, the faster your heartbeat and breathing is, the harder it is to aim so stay focused!
You: (I would have an easier time if you weren't shouting so loudly and demandingly…) okay…
As I set my finger on the trigger, the bullet line circle got either wider or shorter, it was trickier than I thought.
You: Here goes…
"Bang!"
You: Ghigh!
The pressure of the blast was so intense I nearly dropped the rifle. I can now I say, I lost my V card for shooting. The aiming target was brought close and to my surprise…
You: What?! I missed?!
Baffling training lady: well would you look at that! I am impressed, you went from an underling to a numbskull! Back in formation and switch out weapons!
Sniper rifle
"Bang!"
Baffling training lady: I've seen blind people make a better aim then that! Switch!
Launcher
"Boom!"
Baffling training lady: that missiles is designed to cause damage to even the slightest around its target and yet you couldn't even dent it! Switch!
Shotgun
"Bang! Bang!"
Baffling training lady: Well, I am impressed. You were able to show that you can't even handle a shotgun, an impressive show of skill of a numbskull! Switch!
Submachine gun
"Tararararararara!"
Baffling Training Lady: So many targets and so many misses. I have to say I'm impressed by how low the rank you can get. Switch!
For god's sake! I just wanted to smack her! Can't she see I am a new player, of course I don't know my way around these weapons! Who even designed her?!
Handgun
You: Hmm… lighter, easier to grip… *I aim at the target*
The bullet line circle grew and shrank as I tried to aim for the center… my hands were shaken and it was hard to hold my breath…
You: (Come on… just don't think about it… instead, why not think about something calm or… maybe something that can give you an edge, like a motive to aim…) Hmm… *I breathed in and out*
The bullet line circle began to calm down and it grew smaller and smaller…
You: Hrmm… *I pull the trigger*
"Bang!"
Baffling training lady: Hmm…
The target moved in front of us and in its center… just a few centimeters from the center target though, was a black little hole where I just fired.
You: Whoa, I hit it. Not in the center though.
Baffling training lady: Well now. It seems Handguns are your main weapon of usage. Be aware though, that it is important to know the main basics of the other weapons since they could save your life. There are two types of guns here, one is optical and the other is live ammo.
She then proceeds to demonstrate with a weapon that seems to be more futuristic looking then that of a normal gun. It was mostly grey.
Baffling training lady: *she aims at the target* the basic optical gun is light and shots longer distances with accuracy. *she fires*
"Peeew!"
A shot that looked like a plasma explosion hit its target and left a burned spot.
Baffling training lady: the energy packs are a breeze to swallow. The down part is, if you fire at another player and their shield is up, it will only do half the damage. *she switches weapons* and then there is the live ammo gun.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The shots were louder and heavier than the past gun. She didn't even missed the target.
Baffling training lady: the bullets they fire have actual mass and can rip through shields like a hot knife on butter.
The calibers fall to the ground and disappear into orange-red particles.
Baffling training lady: but their trajectory is affected by wind and the mass can get heavy. It is more convenient to use optical guns on monsters and live guns on players. You got all that?!
You: I think so yeah…
Baffling training lady: What was that?!
You: Y-Yes Ma'am!
Baffling training lady: I will now show you the basics of how the gun on the opposite side works.
A red light shows in my field if vision.
You: WH-Whoa what are you doing?! (She has the gun pointed directly at me!)
Baffling training lady: You see that?! That is the bullet line. It shows up when your enemy has their finger on the trigger. It shows the bullets path so if you see it, fire at its origin point or get the hell out of the way. Got that?!
You: Y-Yes ma'am!
Baffling training lady: Good. *she holds a set of two wielding knives* I will now show you how to use knives in combat next.
You: (Oh geez…)
Baffling Training Lady: Weapons are what will keep you alive in this game, but it's also wise to have a backup in case you run out of ammo or your target is too close. These knives will save your life in the field, to use them you must know where you are pointing. The most important parts to hit a player are the knees or neck, cut them off and they will die faster than a bullet can penetrate. Lets see how you can dodge this! Hup!
You: Yikes!
"Swoosh!"
With such little time, I dodge her attack with my hand on my back grabbing nothing but air.
You: Igh! H-Huh? Oh that's right, I don't have a sword here…
Baffling training lady: well would you look at that. You actually managed to dodge my attack. Maybe there is some hope for you after all.'
You: (Geez… could this game be any more intense?)
Later
After a while, I was finally done with the tutorial level. Somebody better give that place an inspection.
You: Alright… what to do now? That lady gave me these two handguns for a new beginner. One was optical and the other was live ammo, maybe I should test them out somewhere… but where? Where are the hunting fields in this game?
As I looked around the district, I came across a teleporter right at the end of a street, it seemed to be the exit as it looked like nothing but terrain outside. I figured this teleporter could send me somewhere on the map.
You: Alright, let's test these things out… *I enter the teleporter*
Right next to the teleporter though… was a sign that said, "Event entryway".
To be continued…
