Just like usual, the girls gathered in the bedroom and discussed what happened during the day. Unfortunately, they were having too much fun with their spar in the sky and Nisha already went to bed.
Eve sighed heavily, realizing how much they screwed up for the day. Maybe they needed a leader after all? She informed them about Add's guess on why Chung was being weird, including their plan to not question Chung and Nisha for the time being. "Let's recap for today. I think we're all having our information spread out. Pretty much the reason we keep asking the same question to someone, no?" Eve asked as she looked everyone in the eyes.
"T-Today?!" Aisha was startled as she recalled her day with Raven today. That was so unexpected. The hangout, the fake date, and a real date in less than 12 hours. Her face flushed red, her heart started beating fast as her mind went into disarray.
"Oh, someone is feeling real good today," Rena giggled and leaned her body closer to Aisha. "Were you having fun with Raven?"
Eve giggled, but still looked at Aisha with a serious look. "Let's start with you, Aisha. What can you share about all of us?"
"W-Well…" Aisha forced herself to laugh and shook her head to let go of the image of Raven in her brain. She took a deep breath, focusing on what was being discussed lately. Surely Nisha wasn't eavesdropping at the moment. "I don't know if you guys remember, but Nisha looked into pretty much everything in Chung's memories when we swapped our bodies. If anyone is being weird, it has to be her."
"Everything…?" Rena muttered. How much did Chung's memories affect Nisha?
"Also… I think Chung just needs a new bestie. Elsword is busy with someone here," Aisha narrowed her eyes at Eve with a smile, making the Nasod overheat for a bit. "Oh, Noah can somewhat control time. He was fine on that alternate timeline day."
"Wait… Huh?" Lu looked away from the others. Was Henir related to time and space if Add could just open a portal to enter it? Maybe Aisha would know something about what Noah was searching. "Titania. Does that name ring a bell to anyone?" Lu asked as she faced them again.
"Titania Landar? That's like, my ancestor!" Aisha said with a smile. "She went missing after trying to poison the whole big family, though!"
Lu raised her one eyebrow. "That… doesn't make sense. How did Noah know her?"
Aisha shrugged. "Eeh… Maybe he happened to meet her?"
Lu turned silent. She asked Chung about Henir earlier, but he burned the book after reading it. Why did he do that? Was there something unsettling written? Or maybe–if he was reading it when he was in a relationship with Aisha–then he read something about her family? Nisha refused to say anything too. "We need to buy that Henir book and read it together. I think Landar is involved."
"Oh, that would be interesting! Bedtime story, but creepy," Ara nodded at the idea.
"My family?" Aisha muttered, trying to remember if any of her family members were involved with Henir or not.
Eve looked at Rena. It was the elf's turn to share her side of the story. "I know nothing much, to be honest," Rena sighed, but she took out a piece of paper of someone's body size. "Elesis said it might be Celestia's, but I doubt it. Can anyone tell me?"
Everyone turned silent, knowing whose body was measured. They didn't want to believe it, but judging by the chest size, they could point it down to an exact one person. "Chung," Rose answered to break the silence. "Prophetess measured him."
"That bunny set is perfect for him!" Rena squealed and lost in her own thoughts. She would hug her counterpart and pat her for doing such a good job right now if she could.
Ara slapped Rena's cheek lightly. "Snap out of it! No horny!"
Sadly Rena was a lost cause for tonight. Eve decided to let her be and continued with the discussion. "As for myself… Honestly, I don't notice anything aside from Chung having good hearing. I'm with Elsword too much. I apologize."
"Same here. I'm spending my time with Ain lately," Ara forced herself to smile, feeling like she let everyone down. "All I can say is Chung becomes happier when you guys visit the cafe."
Elesis noticed everyone was waiting for her to say something. She faced Lu and uttered a question instead. "Are you and Ciel trying to live separately?"
"No, but we can't be with each other all the time. We're in a group for a reason," Lu answered as she narrowed her eyes. "Why? Do you find Ciel fun?"
Elesis shook her head and denied it, but her face felt hotter than usual. "N-No, but it's nice talking to him."
"Uh huh, sure," Lu smiled and faced the group, ignoring Elesis' explanation. "Noah and Ain talked to each other a lot. That's all I can say."
"Wait, where did you and Chung go?" Rena asked with a smile. The elf finally snapped out of her imagination.
"Do you really want to know?" Lu folded her arms and looked at each one of them that was excited to hear her story. She sighed, looking at them with a worried look. "Alright. Remember to not question him anything, okay?"
Lu followed Chung to the beach. The wave was getting stronger, but Chung paid no mind and walked around to feel the water, since they went out barefooted. Lu landed on the sand, walking next to Chung.
Chung was looking at the waves, hesitating to say what's been on his mind for the last few weeks. Maybe he could just say he wanted to go to the beach and leave it at that.
"You don't have to say it if you don't want to. I didn't mean to force you," Lu smiled and held Chung's hand. Surprisingly to her, Chung accepted it, even holding it tighter.
"Do you remember when you said you'll interpret it for everyone?" Chung asked and faced Lu.
The demon remembered their time in that hotel. Lu told him to open up once in a while because his actions could be considered creepy or annoying. Chung could tell her anything, then she will rephrase it to the gang, unless it's a secret. "Of course, Chung! What about it?"
"Do I need to shoot everyone so they won't bug Nisha anymore?"
The question startled her. That came from the same person who was willing to crossdress at a cafe as a waitress. Chung's face was distorted, having multiple kinds of negative feelings every time he thought about what the gang had been doing. "I don't have to share everything with them. Why are they asking Nisha for answers? I get that she looked at everything in my brain, but Nisha is Nisha, not me."
Lu nodded her head with a smile. She noticed Chung always had trouble communicating with people. She might need to tell Nisha about it too, since it took him years to talk to Aisha about something important. "I agree. Not everything has to be shared. Do you hate it when Nisha spoils your mind?"
"No, it's fine…" Chung muttered and looked down on the sand. Maybe he should leave traces like how he left his footsteps in the sand? That way, people wouldn't be so confused anymore.
"Don't you hate attention, though? Nisha told Ciel about it in the backyard," Lu said. With her ability to telepathy with Ciel, they could share pretty much any information they got.
"It's fine. Just leave Nisha alone… and you too?" Chung faced Lu, who got a bit surprised when she was mentioned. "We're hanging out a lot lately."
Lu giggled and shook her head. "I'm fine. They don't bother me too much."
Chung looked away from her. If Lu had to interpret everything for him, he'll burden her even more. "Sorry, I… I'll just say it myself when it's necessary."
And Lu didn't share everything. "We went to the beach and walked around. That's it," Lu smiled at them. It made her happy when they looked disappointed.
"I've been with Add. What do you want me to say?" Rose shrugged at them. She promised Nisha she won't say a thing about what she told her when they were in another timeline.
"That's about everything, I guess. Let's see what we can do tomorrow," Eve smiled at everyone.
Lu stood up and stretched her body. "I'm going upstairs. Bye."
The carpet on the first floor was brought up to the second floor. Chung was lying down on it, reading a novel series that he just bought. So far, the first book wasn't interesting, but the plot was bizarre enough to keep him away from stopping.
"Hey Chung," Lu laid down next to Chung, staring at the ceiling. She expected the boys to play with ghosts or something, but they went to sleep instead. Maybe the fight was too tiring. "Can you tell me something about the Henir book?"
"Titania Landar was a member of Henir Order. She wrote one chapter," Chung answered as he closed the book and faced Lu. "I don't know if it's related to Aisha or not. Landar is a big family."
"Hm… Well anyway, why are you out here?" Lu changed the topic, since they didn't have clear answers for who Titania was unless Noah talked about her.
"I like this place more," Chung answered as he opened his novel again. "I just want to keep reading until I fall asleep."
Click!
Noah came out of his room with teary eyes. Lu noticed a glimpse of them before he wiped them away. "Are you guys not sleepy yet?" He asked with a smile and approached them.
Chung pulled Noah by his hand and forced him to lay down next to him. "Did you get nightmares? Let's sleep here. Maybe it would go away if we're all here?"
"Would it?" Lu asked as she raised her one eyebrow. The house was starting to be filled by fog, which meant a potion was used. "I'll get Nisha! Let's sleep here," she grinned before she ran downstairs.
