"Prime! What in blazes are your people doing out here?! We had an agreement! No collateral damage!" Agent Fowler roared over the monitor. "I am sorry, Agent Fowler. But all Autobots are present and accounted for." Optimus said.
"Then explain why I'm receiving reports of two jumbo-sized bots mixing it up 20 miles outside Omaha." Agent Fowler said. "Decepticons?" Ratchet asked. "There has been plenty of infighting lately. Megatron can't seem to keep his ranks in line." Arcee said.
"Well, I'm just arriving on the scene. Have a look." Agent Fowler said. The monitor showed two Cybertronians battling. The screen zoomed in on one who looked suspiciously like Skyquake. "I don't know, paint job aside, it can't be Skyquake. You and Optimus pounded him into the ground, " Bulkhead said to Bee. "Before Starscream yanked him back out as some kind of undead Terrorcon." Arcee followed.
"The question remains: Who's the other guy?" Cyclonus asked. The monitor moved to a spaceship with a familiar Autobot. "By the Allspark. It is one of ours!" Ratchet said. "Wheeljack! Haha! Jackie's back!" Bulkhead cheered. "Who?" Cyclonus asked. "What?" Bulkhead asked. "I don't care if Abraham Lincoln's back! We have to contain the situation before we all wind up on the 11 o'clock news!" Agent Fowler said.
Intro plays: Optimus, Bulkhead, Cyclonus, Arcee, Jetfire, Chromia, Ratchet, and Bumblebee drive down the highway and transform to find any Decepticons.
In Autobot base Raf jumps into Bee's hand and transforms. Miko jumped into Bulkhead as he transformed. Jack and Elsa jump onto Arcee as she transforms and they all enter the Ground-Bridge. Megatron points and shoots his cannon as Starscream transformed and fired a cluster of rockets at the Prime. Optimus and Megatron shoot at each other and clash their weapons together.

"You got nowhere left to run, 'Con!" Wheeljack said and he and the Skyquake look-alike shot at each other. He then chased the Decepticon as Agent Fowler hovered above him. "This is Special Agent Fowler of -" Wheels shot at him. "Whoa! Stand down, hothead! I'm on your side!" Agent Fowler said.
The Decepticon shot Wheeljack away, and Agent Fowler shot back. Then a Ground-Bridge opened. "Had a feeling the gang might show." He said.
The Autobots emerged and the Decepticon shot at them, then ducked behind a building to avoid being hit. "Jackie!" Bulkhead said alarmed and ran to help his friend. Arcee, Chromia, and Bumblebee shot the Decepticon, forcing him to hide behind the nearby gas station, and then Agent Fowler appeared.
"That will do." Dreadwing said. He scanned the jet, much to Agent Fowler's annoyance. "Gah! Not this again!" He groaned. Dreadwing started running. "Oh no, you don't!" Wheeljack said, and pointed a cannon. "Wheeljack!" Optimus warned. "Jackie, no!" Bulkhead yelled, but Wheeljack shot and hit a gas pump, causing the station to erupt in a massive fireball.
Dreadwing was in his new Earth mode and retreated as Wheeljack kept shooting him. "Dreadwing rigged the place to blow!" He groaned. "Dreadwing?" Bulkhead asked. "Actually, that was your handiwork, trigger-happy." Cyclonus said. "It's called a gas station. Kinda like an Energon depot, doesn't mix well with blaster fire." Bulkhead explained.
"Huh. Well, our 'Con's getting away." Wheeljack said. "Wheeljack, there are other considerations. While upon this world, you would do well to follow my lead." Optimus said.
The Autobots escorted the Wrecker to base where Ratchet began to repair him. "Ow! Take it easy, doc. I need that arm." Wheeljack groaned. "Hold still, and maybe you'll keep it." Ratchet remarked.
"Look, commander, apologies for the fireworks, won't happen again. But I tracked Dreadwing across a hundred light years of space." He said. "I thought you were roving the galaxy, you know, looking for Autobot refugees." Bulkhead said.
"I was until I found one, a Wrecker." Wheeljack said. "Who?" Bulkhead asked. "Seaspray." Wheeljack said. Bulkhead laughed with enthusiasm. "How is old barnacle butt?" He asked. "Not so good, Bulk. Blown to bits, actually." Wheeljack said, leaving Bulkhead horrified. "What? No!" He said.
"Dreadwing." Optimus said. "My flyer, the Jackhammer, picked up Seaspray's signal a couple of light years from Madeira. We made contact and arranged a rendezvous in the Andromeda system. But Dreadwing must've intercepted the transmission, 'cause he got to Seaspray first. A proximity bomb, supposed to take us both out, guess I should be glad the Jackhammer can take a punch. I picked up Dreadwing's ion trail and tracked it through a dozen solar systems before catching up with him, and he led me right back to this marble. Some coincidence, huh?" Wheeljack asked.
"I know of this Dreadwing. He was captain of a Seeker armada, and as such, like his twin Skyquake, fiercely loyal to the Decepticon cause. Dreadwing has no doubt traveled to Earth to pay allegiance to his one true master." Optimus said.
"Hope he's enjoying the visit. It's gonna be his last." Wheeljack said. "Wheeljack, this planet is heavily inhabited. Any strike we make against the Decepticons must be carefully measured as a team, lest we risk endangered the human population." Optimus interjected. "Are you suggesting we sit back and do nothing?" Wheeljack asked.
"You, loose cannon, your cowboy antics almost blew our cover!" Agent Fowler exclaimed. "Cover?" Wheeljack asked. "We're robots in disguise, Jackie. You need an Earth based vehicle mode outside of here." Bulkhead explained. "That spaceship you shot down, not Earth based! I Had to jump through some big hoops to get it hauled out of plain sight. You need to keep a tighter leash on your people, Prime." Agent Fowler said.
"A tighter leash? Let me clarify, tiny." Wheeljack started. "Jackie." Bulkhead warned. "I'm NOT one of Optimus Prime's people." Wheeljack said to Agent Fowler and left. "I'll talk to him. Err. With your permission." Bulkhead said. "Of course." Optimus said.
"So, the new guy has a little problem with authority." Agent Fowler said. "Wheeljack and Bulkhead served together in thr Wreckers, a combat unit that operated outside thr normal chain of command." Optimus said. "Hmm. Black Ops." Agent Fowler said. "They accepted missions no one else would and many of them did not come back." Optimus said.
Dreadwing stood high on top of a rock column, holding a red signal beacon, and then the Nemesis came. Dreadwing transformed and boarded the Decepticon warship.
"Lord Megatron, I live to serve." Dreadwing kneeled before the great warlord himself. "Rise, Dreadwing. Loyalty such as yours is a rare commodity." Megatron said. "Mine runs deep and true. Yet it is not loyalty alone that brought me here." Dreadwing said.
"Oh?" Megatron asked curiously. "I seek confirmation of the demise of one whom I considered a brother." Dreadwing said. "How did you learn of his passing?" Megatron asked. "My twin and I shared a Split-Spark, we're metal, but two halves of the same lifeforce. Even across the galaxy, I sensed when he emerged from Stasis on this planet, and when his Spark was no more." Dreadwing said with a hint of sorrow for Skyquake.
Soundwave's visor displayed the recording of Skyquake battling Optimus and Bee. "It is true. Skyquake perished at the hands of the Autobots." Megatron said, then Starscream filled the screen. "Though not in fact under my watch."
"Then by the Pit, every past Autobot on this accursed world will pay!" Dreadwing growled. "The Autobots will be punished for their crime, and many others, how and when I see fit." Megatron said. "But, Master -" Dreadwing started. "Conflicting agendas will only result in conflict and failure. You would be wise to remember that, Dreadwing. You are under my command now, and as such, you must follow my lead." Megatron said.
"Jackie. Look, even if it weren't for the humans, we couldn't take on the 'Cons right now. We're outnumbered." Bulkhead approached Wheeljack on top of base. "Roadbuster, Pyro, Impactor, Rotorstorm, Seaspray, all dust." Wheeljack said. "That's what I'm talking about. Wreckers are Autobots, there just aren't that many of us left, but if we get behind Optimus, we have a chance to end this once and for all." Bulkhead said.
"Guys like Optimus, they talk a good game. But when you're in the scrap, they don't want to get their hands dirty." Wheeljack said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You don't know Optimus like I do. Being a Wrecker meant everything to me, but I left that behind." Bulkhead said. "Because Prime was the real thing. Blah, blah, blah." Wheeljack said, then the Jackhammer's monitor beeped with a call.
"Wheeljack, I know you're out there listening. I have a proposition for you." Dreadwing said over the comms. "Is that?" Bulkhead asked. "Dreadwing." Wheeljack identified. "Meet me at these coordinates. If you have the Spark." Dreadwing said and the coordinates came on the screen. "I'll see you there, 'Con. Just to watch you fry." Wheeljack said.
"Jackie, it's a trap." Bulkhead warned. "I know, but when does that ever stop me?" Wheeljack asked, and then activated the Jackhammer. "You coming with?" He asked. Bulkhead sat down in the passenger seat. "At least let me call for backup." He said. "You know Wreckers don't call for backup." Wheeljack said. "They call for cleanup!" They said together and clashed their servos. The Jackhammer took off for wherever Dreadwing was.
Wheeljack approached the Decepticon. "I wasn't certain you'd come." He said. "I don't like unfinished business." Wheeljack said. They threw a bomb and grenade at each other, but the explosives collided and blew up. Dreadwing stumbled back as Wheeljack let out a battle cry, holding his katanas, and tried to stab Dreadwing, but he moved aside and ran.
Wheeljack equipped his battle mask, and chased the Decepticon. They slid into a small canyon. Dreadwing smiled as he held up a detonator, and pressed a button. A mine bomb next to Wheeljack exploded but didn't even phase him. "That all you got?" He asked. Another bomb exploded, but didn't affect Wheeljack. Dreadwing turned a corner, but ran into a dead-end.
"If you're thinking about flying out of here -" Wheeljack started as he approached Dreadwing. "Think again." Bulkhead finished from above the canyon. Dreadwing smiled again. Wheeljack saw a bomb right underneath Bulkhead, out of the green Wrecker's sight. "Bulkhead!" He warned, but Dreadwing pressed the detonator again, and Bulkhead was blown forward, and a rock slide covered him and Wheeljack.
Dreadwing transformed and retreated to the top of the canyon, then transformed again. He smiled evilly.
In Autobot base Ratchet picked up Bulkhead's life signal. "Bulkhead's signal, over a thousand miles from here, and I would have to imagine that Wheeljack is with him." The medic said. "Have you attempted contact?" Optimus asked. "No response." Ratchet said.
Wheeljack pushed the heavy rocks away, but a black servo with a red arm helped push them aside. "What took you so long, Bulk? Don't tell me riding with Prime has made you..." Wheeljack realized it was Optimus. "Soft." He finished, and the Prime helped him out. "If you will not take orders from me, that is one thing. But when you place one of ky Autobots in danger -" Optimus started.
"With all due respect, sir, Bulkhead knew the risks. Every Wrecker does. Now, I'm sure he's just somewhere in this rubble." Wheeljack said. "Optimus, Bulkhead's signal has moved from your current position." Ratchet said. "You coming with?" Wheeljack asked. They entered the Jackhammer and took off for wherever Bulkhead is.
Optimus awkwardly tapped his digits on his knees. "You and Bulkhead share quite a history, and yet you prefer to work alone." He said. "The Wreckers scattered a long time ago, and alone's usually less complicated." Wheeljack said.
They flew into a large container yard and tracked Bulkhead's signal. "We are close to population. Remember." Optimus said. "Blasters and fuel pumps don't mix." Wheeljack finished. "Our boy's just up ahead." He said. They turned a corner and were shocked at what they saw. Bulkhead was electrified to a bunch of containers with a bomb strapped to his chassis. "Hey, guys." He said.
"Scrap!" Wheeljack groaned. "You really got yourself in a heap of scrap this time, partner." He said. "Stay back, Jackie." Bulkhead said. "Better get to work." Wheeljack said. "Have you defused one of these before?" Optimus asked. Wheeljack touched the bomb, and the red screen extended. "Fail safes, dummy leads, booby traps. It's a work of art." Wheeljack said.
What they didn't know was that Dreadwing was watching them. "Dreadwing, where are you?" Megatron asked. "Merely pursuing my destiny, Lord Megatron." Dreadwing said. "Did I not order you to stand down?" Megatron asked. "Forgive me, one true master, but it is my hope that vanquishing Optimus Prime will earn your respect." Dreadwing said.
"Optimus is not so easily disposed of, as I keep trying to explain to all of those who foolishly attempt it." Megatron said.
"Jackie, if you don't abort, we're both gonna need clean-up." Bulkhead said. "Trying to focus here, Bulk." Wheeljack said. "Where's Optimus?" Bulkhead asked. "Like I told you, when the scrap hits the fan blades, the generals are the first to bail." Wheeljack said. "No. Not Optimus." Bulkhead said.
"I assure you, Master. In but a few moments, Optimus and two others will be blown to atoms." Dreadwing said. "I will allow it, Dreadwing. In memory of your departed twin, but only this once." Megatron said, then turned to face Soundwave. "I will be quite surprised if we ever set eyes upon Dreadwing again." He said.
Dreadwing continued observing the Autobots but noticed Optimus was gone. "Where is the Prime?" He wondered. "Dreadwing, if you are anything like Skyquake, I know that you value loyalty and honor." Optimus' voice echoed. "Is there a point to your bluster, Prime?" Dreadwing asked.
"Only that Megatron knows nothing of those principles. He lives solely for destruction and conquest, but there is another path. Deactivate the bomb." Optimus said. Dreadwing grabbed his cannon and fired as he jumped off the structure he stood on. He turned a corner and began hunting Optimus.
"Get out of here already!" Bulkhead said. "I didn't leave you on Sandakan, and I'm not leaving you here." Wheeljack said. "Face it, there's only one bot who can defuse this mess, and his name's Dreadwing." Bulkhead said. "Blaster fire's getting closer, as if the commander -" Wheeljack was suddenly pumched down by Bulkhead as he roke the electric restraints.
"Sorry, Jackie. It's 'cause I love you." Bulkhead apologized and ran off. Optimus shot at Dreadwing, who hid behind a container and then returned fire. Optimus ran off, and Dreadwing pursued him. He was neay hit, but dodged and saw Optimus shooting at him from the top of a few crates, jumped to the next mound.
Dreadwing climbed up and kept shooting. Optimus jumped to ground level and fired back. Optimus ran away, and Dreadwing chased him. He raised his cannon and scowled, then chased Optimus' direction and turned another corner.
Bulkhead turned and kept running and turned again before he found open water. "Sorry, fishies!" He said, then Wheeljack landed in front of him. "Bulkhead, wait!" He yelled. "Out of my way!" Bulkhead shouted. Wheeljack held on to him as he pushed towards the water. "Will you listen to me, Bulk?" Wheeljack strained, and Bulkhead finally stoped right at the edge. "You were right. Dreadwing's the only one who can defuse it. And Optimus knows it, too." Wheeljack said.
Optimus climbed to the top of a crane as Dreadwing slowed down, and cautiously pointed his weapon. He heard Optimus yell then a giant crane landed on him, knocming his gun away, and pinning Dreadwing down. "Dreadwing, diffuse the bomb, or fall victim to your own device." Optimus ordered.
"I will gladly sacrifice myself to avenge my brother." Dreadwing said. "Then we will, in turn, gladly join the Allspark with our brother." Optimus said. "And with you. You'll never shake us." Wheeljack added. Bulkhead groaned. Optimus, Wheeljack, and Dreadwing stared each other down. "Very well." Dreadwing said.
Wheeljack and Optimus remived the claw from Dreadwing, and he set to defuse the bomb by disconnecting the blue wire. "I had it narrowed down to the blue, or the yellow, or the red." Wheeljack said. Dreadwing secretly held his detonator, and pressed the button. Multiple bombs nearby started exploding.
The Autobots saw Dreadwing run away, transform, and retreat. "So, who do we call for clean-up?" Wheeljack asked. The entire shipping yard was engulfed in fire.
"Optimus Prime still lives. As do you, Dreadwing. And that is a victory however small, as Skyquake so tragically discovered." Megatron said. "Speak to me not of my twin, Lord Megatron. For I am here on Earth to obey your will and yours alone." Dreadwing said.
"Listen, commander, I just want to say it was an honor watching you work. I, uh, think maybe I had the wrong idea about you." Wheeljack said. "And it would seem tnat you place a greater value on community than you otherwise let on." Optimus said and offered a handshake. "Whoa. Let's not jump the gun here." Wheeljack said.
"Come on, Jackie. If you leave, you'll probably just wind up coming right back here again." Bulkhead pleaded. "All that wasted fuel, and Energon is in short supply." Arcee added. Bee buzzed in agreement. "Then again, we do have limited space." Ratchet said.
"Not sure if I'm ready to give up my freedom just yet. Naybe I could do some exploring, see if this rock suits me." Wheeljack said. "No offense to the Jackhammer, but you'll need an Earth based vehicle mode." Bulkhead said. Wheeljack smiled. Outside of base, he scanned a sports car and transformed into it, and left.
