Despite his "cute" ears and species, Atsuki was not a kind man. He did not have soft words or a gentle nature. His words were often harsh and uncensored and he had no caring for humans. Mostly, females avoided him and mostly, he was alright with that. As he hurried toward his infirmary, the tiny human baby cradled closely and gently to his chest, he could not help but be awed by her.

Like a new father, he feared holding her, hurting her, having her. She was so tiny, even smaller than the new young heir. He feared the blood leaving her wound and could not bring himself to judge her on her humanity. Holding what he assumed was Lord Toga's make shift bandage gently to the sluggishly bleeding wound, he wondered.

It did not take long to reach the small hospital, nor to heal her wound. Despite her human nature, demon tonics seemed to work just as well. It closed before his very eyes, leaving a small red scar the size of his thumb on her side. She slept still and he could see goose bumps rising on her white, white skin.

Turning, he snagged a blanket off the nearest bed and ripped it in half. When he turned back around, the young hare healer could do not but stare at what had once been a tiny human girl. Pitch black fur covered most of her body and she seemed even smaller now. Her dogs muzzle was brown, matching the tiny paws that curled under as the puppy herself curled into a ball.

Clearing his throat, at a loss, the giant of a rabbit could do naught but stare. Carefully, he picked her up and holding her under her front arms, examined her belly; as in her human form, the scar remained, smooth and red and small. Suddenly, a small yipping whimper startled him and he glanced up into startlingly blue, in-human eyes. "Oh Kami," he muttered, unable to stop his heart from squeezing with emotion.
