With quaint threats and silent, speaking looks, Kagome the once human was accepted into the House of the Moon.
The Lord of the house doted on her, coddling her as he could not coddle his son. In his thoughts, females were meant to be soft, for pretty words and prettier actions. It was his actions that drew the pup to him, had her nosing her way into his lap, gnawing with jaws yet to grow teeth on fingers she could not yet wrap her mouth around. Her fur was as soft and silky as any youkai and she curled in a ball on his thigh, napping and watching, teasing and biting and pulling.
The Lady of the house was more reserved in her attentions. She laughed, she chided, she watched. The girl was a constant curiosity and since she had come to them human, Fuiasu waited for her to change again, for something to happen that would once again catch her attention. Yet the girl did nothing. She slept and she ate, as pups did. She played, as her own son played. And so the Lady was content to wait, to watch her grow and perhaps to help mold, and hope for the day when her purpose here was made known.
The Son of the house was too young to pay much attention. He did not speak, could not voice his emotions. His nose scented the new presence, told him he was older and his instincts, young and untrained, told him nothing more. He played with her when he wished to and ignored her as well.
