Settle

Ryūkotsusei narrowed his eyes at the girl, his hand caught in her teeth. They hurt like the very devil but he'd be damned if he allowed some child to make him show pain. Jaw clenched, he tugged, to no avail. "Toga," he warned softly, red eyes fierce as he stared the dog down.

Kagome glared at the male, her instincts screaming as she dug her fangs deeper into soft flesh. He wasn't right. He shouldn't be there. He shouldn't be near Sho'mru, or Alpha!

Sesshoumaru watched with wide eyes as his 'gome chewed on the dragon, his own ire rising with each second the dragon glared at her. Behind them all, Fuiasu watched with careful eyes, noting the deviousness in the dragon, the tension in her son and the power in the girl. With a gentle probe of yōki directed at her mate, she stood. "Kagome. That is enough."

Immediately Kagome let go but she did not stand down. She had at some point moved to stand before Sesshoumaru and continued to growl at the dragon. She didn't like this male. Didn't like him at all. She wanted him gone. She took a threatening step forward and prepared to launch herself at him, only to stop as a small hand settled between her shoulder blades. Glancing back into wide gold eyes, she calmed and moved back to her Sho'mru's side.

"You should put a muzzle on that mutt," muttered Ryūkotsusei as he watched the bite marks heal. He glanced at the Western Lord, a sneer rising pale white lips.

Toga snorted. "You should not approach creatures you know nothing about, Northern Lord."
