Toga looked up from the map he was studying and ignoring his generals, focused on the sounds and scents coming closer and closer to his study. And sighed.
Excusing himself, he stepped outside quickly as the two pups came racing by and reaching down to snatch up the girl, he growled in frustration when she slipped right through his hands and kept right on running, Sesshoumaru close behind her as he barked the palace down.
Looking at his hands and scenting the oil, he frowned, before giving chase. Deciding to let them enjoy their fun a little while longer, he kept his pace steady and slow. And as luck would have it, they stopped their running near the bathing chambers. He came around the corner to see them both holding onto the duck, playing tug.
Chuckling, he moved forward and snatched the duck up, not at all surprised to see them both hanging onto it as tenaciously as they had the obi they had destroyed two years ago, and many other things they had managed to get their teeth into. With quick, easy motions, he pulled them close despite oil soaked fur and wondered when they were notice the scent of the hot springs.
