Bella's choice to rescue

The next morning, it took Bella a few minutes to remember where she was and most importantly, who she was with. Kol was lying by her side on the bed, she was in his arms and she loved it.

She had fallen asleep quickly the previous evening, they hadn't had the time to talk much, but they had naturally found their spot in each other's arms. She had feared being uncomfortable with someone else in the bed by her side but it wasn't. It felt natural.

"Good morning darling." he told her without opening his eyes.

"I thought you were still sleeping." She smiled and he finally opened his eyes to look at her.

"I woke up shortly before you did but decided to wait and enjoy the moment." he smiled back.

"Last night, did we meet up again in our dream or was that completely made up in my mind?" She asked him.

She remembered the old lady saying that she's see Kol in her dreams until they were reunited, but maybe the magic was so anchored inside them that they'd always be linked now. She didn't mind.

"The ball, surrounded by your favorite authors? I was definitely there, though I think the presence of your favorite authors was part of our combined imaginations." He replied happily.

"So we're going to see each other every night now? Aren't you going to be sick of me after a while?" Bella asked him teasingly.

"I've been seeing you a lot these past years, I haven't gotten sick of you so far, Love. Never will." He insisted before he kissed her.

"Alright, I'll get ready and see if Charlie is downstairs, I'm starving." Bella declared.

"I'll be right behind you. I think I need a shower first." He nodded, knowing that at this stage in their relationship, it was too soon to shower with her, even though he desperately wanted to.

There would be time for that later, he promised himself. They had forever ahead of them.

.

When she arrived downstairs, Bella found Charlie and Rebekah in the kitchen. She could also see Klaus and Finn in the garden outside.

"Good morning." She told them.

"Morning Bella. Where's that brother of mine, surely not sleeping still?" Rebekah asked as Charlie nodded her way.

"No, he's in the shower, getting ready. Where's Elijah?" Bella replied.

"He's been up for a few hours and he went in town to see if he could get the stupid Doppelganger on our side. He's always had a thing for them and apparently Elena isn't any different. It's only because I love him that I haven't tried to get revenge on her for daggering me in the back on Homecoming night. It would have been my very first high school dance! She stole that from me!" Rebekah complained.

"And here you have Bella, looking for any excuse not to go to any school dances." Charlie chuckled.

"Given my clumsiness, can you blame me? Don't worry Rebekah, you'll go to school with me next year and you'll have any human experience you want. I'm sure Alice will make sure you live it all. Hey, you can even have Mike Newton, human teenage boy. Have him be into you so he stops being into me, that would be great! You could start as a junior or sophomore, we wouldn't be in the same classes but it would allow you to stay in school a while longer. Or you could be a senior with me, Alice and Edward, and go to college next year. There are many possibilities. The Cullens start over regularly, you could always do it with them later. " Bella told her future sister in law.

"You're right. But be warned, never trust a Petrova Doppelganger! Never!" Rebekah warned Bella.

"Of course, don't worry, I've seen enough in the dreams to believe you, but maybe Elena will be different. Maybe she'll be kinder. What's going on between Finn and Klaus? They both look so serious..." Bella asked while her father left the room.

"Klaus is trying to convince Finn not to trust our mother, that she's lied to us our entire lives and that, should she be awaken, he should stay on our side, he's arguing that he would be a part of 'always and forever' as well, be close to us instead of being the one who's apart from us. It seems to be working, especially since Sage is on her way." Rebekah replied, helping Bella make her and Kol's breakfast.

"Did the Cullen leave?" Bella asked, curious.

She was sure that she would have been teased by Emmett already if they had stayed over. Surely her big brother would have had something to say about her lack of "night time activities" with kol the previous night.

"Yes, they leaved about an hour after you went to bed. They wanted to go hunting. They're nice though. Thanks for introducing them to us." Rebekah smiled.

After that, Kol soon arrived and Rebekah left them alone. They sat in front of each other and started eating their breakfast when Charlie walked in again.

"Still hungry Charlie? There's plenty left." Kol told him with a smile.

"No, thank you. I just wanted to speak to Bella, well, the two of you, really." Charlie shook his head.

"What's going on, dad?" Bella asked with a frown.

"I know I said I'd stay for 3 weeks, but I know you're fine now, and you obviously don't need me. There's nothing I can do to help against their mother so I was wondering if you'd be upset with me if I went home now?" Charlie asked her.

"Of course not! You'll enjoy your vacation much more if you went home. You can go fishing with Billy and Harry." Bella replied with a smile.

"Good, I'm glad you understand. But make sure you come back before the end of summer though, alright?" He asked her and she nodded.

"Don't worry Charlie, we'll probably all move to Fork way before then. Klaus told me last night that he's already bought a big house in Forks that he's having renovated for all of us." Kol smiled.

"And you make sure she's safe, alright? You make sure she has your blood in her system every day in case something does happen." Charlie told Kol, surprising them both but the couple nodded once more.

"Alright then, I'll go pack my bags and I'll leave this afternoon. Alice called, she got me an earlier flight and Billy will send Sam to pick me up at the airport." Charlie added before he left the room.

"I wasn't expecting him to say this, about the blood, though it's a good idea." Bella commented once her father had left the room.

"He loves you and he wants you to be safe. Vampire is better than dead." Kol replied and she nodded.

"Let's hope I won't faint at the smell of your blood, that would be something your brothers and sister would tease me about mercilessly forever. Along with Emmett. Emmett wouldn't leave it down if I fainted around your blood." Bella chuckled.

"Oh, I would too, I assure you Love. I would tease you about this too." Kol laughed with her while giving her a bit of his blood.

Luckily, vampire blood, or maybe it was just Kol's blood, didn't make her sick. Maybe she'd test it out later with Klaus' blood or the others.

.

About an hour later, everyone was in the living room, saying goodbye to Charlie and every single Mickealson sibling promised to look out for Bella. She had just met them all in real life and they already treated her like she was one of them and had been one of them forever. Once he was gone, Klaus spoke up:

"Sage should arrive some time tomorrow, probably in the early morning. On to another note, my hybrids can't find anything about the whereabouts of our mother, no matter how much they try."

"What about the witches that are needed to wake her up?" Bella asked.

"They're watching Bonnie Bennett, or trying to, but she's attacked them twice now and they don't always know where she is. There's rumors of her mother being spotted in town too, which is bad news for us." Klaus shook his head.

"What did you decide, Finn?" Elijah asked his big brother seriously, protective of the rest of his family.

"I will stand by your side and, if mother tries to get me to work with her, Klaus has agreed that I should play along to try and stop her or at least find out what she wants." He replied.

"So, that means we have no plans for the day, right?" Rebekah asked her brothers who shook their heads.

"Not really, no." Elijah shook his head.

"Well, then Bella and I are going out. I want to get to know my new sister." Rebekah stated.

"What about me?" Kol asked immediately, making everyone chuckle.

"You can spend time with your brothers, bond. Get to know each other truly, because you might all be over a thousand years old, but from what I've seen in the dreams, you don't know each other too well." Bella replied softly.

"Don't worry brother, I won't let anything happen to her. I promise." Rebekah promised seriously.

"Fine." Kol frowned.

He knew that letting Rebekah get to know Bella was a good thing. His sister needed friends and Bella was someone they knew they could trust not to betray them, but he hated her being away from him. He'd miss her, and he'd probably worry about her too.

"What did you have in mind?" Bella asked Rebekah once they were both outside.

"First, we're going in town, to make sure everything is fine, get a coffee at the Grill maybe, and then we can go shopping." The original blond suggested.

"Well, I'm not a big fan of shopping, but I'll make an exception for you. Though you should be warned, Alice will be jealous that I went shopping with you without complaining." Bella replied teasingly.

"I'll go shopping with her before school starts to apologize." Rebekah smiled.

"That should make you her life long friend but be warned, she's a pro. She could do this for a week without a break if given the opportunity." Bella chuckled.

"Looking forward to it." Rebekah chuckled before she added:

"On the way to you last night, Kol told us of your back-up plan to wake him up, lying to the Salvatore brothers and all... it was brave of you."

"Well, not really. It hasn't happened yet, so it's not brave, just good thinking." Bella smiled.

"I can see in your eyes that you would have gone through with it, that you're truly brave. And I want to thank you for introducing me to Rosalie. We talked a lot last night, exchanged phone numbers, and you were right, we're going to be good friends." Rebekah told her new sister with a true smile.

"You're welcome. I figured you'd be able to understand each other the best when times get tough for you. I know that sometimes it's harder for you to handle being a vampire everyday, just like her, though she hides it by having a cold facade all the time." Bella replied.

"And I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, and when it gets broken, I get murderous." Rebekah chuckled at how well Bella truly knew her.

"To be fair, sometimes Klaus is the one doing the murdering. Kol did it once, Elijah a couple of times too." Bella informed Rebekah, who had no idea.

"Yes, as much as my brothers tend to get on my nerves, they do get overprotective sometimes." Rebekah nodded.

"They love you." Bella smiled.

"And I love them. Oh look, the Salvatore brothers are in town. And they brought their pet doppelganger Elena out for a walk." Rebekah declared, pointing in the right direction.

Stefan and Damon must have heard her because they turned their heads toward her and started making their way towards them.

"Stay behind me, I'll keep you safe." Rebekah promised Bella who nodded.

"Maybe you should have a talk with them before getting overprotective, maybe they just want to talk. Maybe they've learned their lesson and aren't there to pick a fight. Stefan seems to have his emotions back on." Bella suggested.

"Yeah well, they better watch their words too. Oh look, they're not alone, Caroline Forbes joined them. Klaus likes her, though I really don't understands what he sees in her." The original sister commented, making Caroline frown from afar.

"The heart wants what it wants. If I remember correctly what Klaus told me, Elena is the only one who is human, right? The others are vampires?" Bella asked and her friend nodded.

"Yes. Though if you ask me, Doppelgangers aren't truly human, they are supernatural too, though powerless."

"And Caroline's mother is the sheriff in this town?" Bella asked again for confirmation as the others made their way towards her.

"Yes, you have that in common, since you're father is the chief of police where you live." Rebekah smiled.

"Barbie Klaus, who's your new curious and human friend?" Damon asked.

"My name is Bella Swan, I'm with Kol and her name is Rebekah, know it, remember it and use it." Bella replied politely though firmly.

"You obviously know about us... And how are you with Kol? You're human and he's been in a coffin for ages!" Stefan snorted, not believing her.

"We're soul mates, have seen each others in dreams for years. If you want the details, I suggest finding a witch to call on the spirits for you, because I'll only speak of the details to my close friends and enlarged family. And since you want to kill my love and his family, you're definitely not one of them." Bella replied, making Rebekah proud.

As they all spoke, Bella kept her eyes on Caroline, who stayed a step away from her friends and seemed just as exasperated by them as Rebekah and Bella were. Caroline caught Bella's eyes and they had a silent conversation through their eyes. Caroline gave Bella a small smile, a kind smile. Bella knew that they'd get along and see each other again some day.

"Listen, we need your help with your mother! She wants to kill every vampire that exists!" Elena asked, making Rebekah and Bella laugh.

"Oh, that's rich! You dagger me in the back, literally, after pretending you want to be friends and then you wake up my deranged mother, after being warned not to, and come asking for help against her?" Rebekah replied.

"Klaus warned you that Esther wanted to kill everyone, that waking her up would be a bad idea, you didn't listen to him and now we should help you? Maybe you should consider doing something for Klaus and his family before begging for help solving a problem that YOU caused because you're too egotistical to listen to anyone else's opinion. While you think of a way to make things right, to apologize and what not, Rebekah and I have places to be. I'm sure you know where to find Klaus and how to contact him to make a deal with him. Have a good day." Bella added, making Rebekah smile before they walked away.

"Well, they're definitely intrigued by you now." Rebekah whispered in a chuckle.

"I think I'll try to befriend Caroline later, when she's away from the others. Run into her at the Grill or something. She seems nice, and smarter than the other 3." Bella whispered back.

"She didn't speak, how can you say that?"

"I don't know, something in her eyes. I think she was just as exasperated by them as we were. And the fact that she didn't speak during this particular conversation might be a sign that she's smarter than them." Bella replied.

"True." Rebekah nodded.

After that, they got some coffee at the Grill and went to get some shopping done. On the way, they met a few more people, or simply crossed them, and Rebekah informed Bella, each time, of who the person was and if they were friends, enemies or neutral. She wanted Bella to know everything and be as prepared as possible. It helped that Bella knew almost all of their history, she was well informed already.

"Why would I need a ball gown?" Bella frowned as Rebekah asked her to try a dress on.

"Because I can feel a ball coming. Whenever we reunite, we organize a ball. This time will be no different, especially since you're here. Kol will want to dance with you, in public, show everyone that you're with him and him alone." Rebekah insisted.

"You're right, I remember seeing a few balls in my dreams of Kol... And this might be the party Alice saw Carlisle coming here for." Bella nodded, resigned.

"Don't worry, we'll teach you the dances and we won't let you fall." Rebekah reassured her with a knowing smile.

"I know, I trust all of you."

"You're one of us now, a Mickealson. We won't let you fall down the stairs or anything else." Rebekah added.

.

"What has you so serious, Brother?" Finn asked Kol as they were all together, thinking of what to do during the rest of the day.

"There's this red headed Cold One, Victoria, that is going to come after Bella, out of revenge because the Cullen's killed her mate when he came after Bella a few months ago... Bella was hurt really bad and just got her cast taken off a few days ago... I know Jasper, Emmett and Edward Cullen are looking for her, but she's elusive... I'm trying to find the best way to protect Bella against her." Kol replied, getting the attention of all of his brothers.

"Do you think escaping could be her gift?" Elijah asked him curiously.

"Jasper considers it, he told me so last night. And he knows Cold ones and their potential gifts, he used to be The Major, in the southern wars, Maria's army." Kol nodded.

"The one some nickname the God of War? Nice!" Elijah commented, impressed.

"It would be best to take her out before she tries to come after Bella. After spending a little time with her, I know she'd be willing to play bait, I mean, she was willing to do it to free Kol and I just know she'll be willing to do it for any reasons, but I'm not comfortable with this idea." Klaus commented.

"Neither am I. I don't want to see her injured, she was hurt badly enough the last time. A few more minutes and she could have died, or been turned. She was bad enough that she could see me, hear me talk to her." Kol shook his head.

"Could Alice Cullen help us? We could offer to help her look for her answers about her past in return for her own help..." Elijah suggested.

"I already did, last night. She said that she couldn't see Victoria well. Obviously the red haired knows how to evade Alice's visions, which is easy, if you avoid making direct decisions." Kol replied.

"Maybe a witch could help us locate her, hunt her down?" Finn asked.

"We'd have to find one willing to help us, and she'd need something that belongs to the bitch, which we don't have." Kol shook his head, showing that he had been thinking about all of those possibilities before they joined in.

"You've had witches enchant so many objects through the centuries... Isn't there anything that could help us?" Klaus asked his younger brother, eager to help protect Bella as well, especially since she was uniting his entire family so quickly.

"I was thinking about that when Finn asked me what was wrong... The only thing that could have helped was destroyed shortly before you daggered me... I don't think anything else would be useful to track her down."

"Well then, first we never leave Bella alone, she has to always have one of us with her. It should be quite easy, there's so many of us, we should be able to find excuses to be with her. We're going to move to Forks with her before she goes back to school, so we'll be able to protect her better. Rebekah is going to go to school as well so she'll be safe even then. I'll buy us a few flame throwers, keep them everywhere, give one to Charlie, and get my hybrids to move close to Forks. We'll just have to wait and be ready for whatever comes next." Klaus decided.

"The house you bought, is it far from hers?" Finn asked.

"It's in the next street over, but Charlie assured me that he'd get the guest room ready so at least one of us will be able to stay with them at all times if we want. It's also part of the reason why he left early, he wants to make a viable second guest room out of the attic. he's going to get the help from a few local shapeshifters since his best friend is the chief of the local tribe. It should be done quite easily. We'll just have to decide who will stay there." Klaus replied.

"Let's not forget the Cullen's. They've kept her safe so far, they'll continue to help us do so, I'm sure of it. Alice and Edward will still go to school with her. Maybe even the local Quileute tribe will work with us, Charlie is their friend after all." Elijah added.

"Yes, the Cullens do consider Bella a member of their family, they'll continue to help." Kol nodded.

"Charlie also mentioned shape shifters last night." Finn remembered with a nod to Elijah.

"Right, on the reservation. Horse sized wolves. They'll help as long as they get to kill a cold one and as long as we respect life. Carlisle will help us use his name to buy blood bags, so we won't need to hurt humans, which should help us make friends with the locals." Klaus nodded.

"Good, I guess that's all that we can do for now." Kol nodded with a frown.

He would have liked to finish it quickly, get rid of the problem before Bella was even more in danger.

"Don't worry, brother, we'll think about other solutions, I promise you, we're all determined to help keep Bella safe." Elijah assured his younger brother who nodded, believing him.

"Maybe one of us can get hired at the school too." Finn suggested, loving the idea of all of his siblings willingly working together towards the same goal, a good one.

"You're the eldest, what do you want to teach? We could probably compel you any position you wish and it would be a human experience for you. Charlie would help us find the best way to send the actual teacher away without making too many waves." Elijah told his brother.

"Sage could teach PE." Klaus commented, imagining the imposing woman standing tall in front of horny teenage boys about to learn a lesson about respect.

"I could teach history, or literature, or a foreign language... But it might be best to have one of you do it instead for now, I need to catch up on a lot of things." Finn suggested.

"I'd love to teach literature some day." Elijah smiled.

"Too bad I'm too old to pass for a student and too young to pass for a teacher." Kol frowned.

"You can go to college with Bella later, I'm sure she'd love that. In the mean time, you can buy a fancy car and be the hot boyfriend who picks her up everyday after school." Klaus suggested with a smile.

"Oh, I'd love that, especially since her actual car is old." Kol smiled.

.

Later, when Rebekah and Bella came back with a car full of shopping bags, Kol couldn't help but run to take Bella into his arms.

"Did you miss me, then?" Bella asked him with a chuckle, having missed him too.

"Of course I did. Did you have fun?" He asked her.

"Well, I'm not a big fan of shopping, but your sister makes it fun." Bella nodded.

"Please tell me all of these bags are yours ad not our sisters?" Klaus asked Bella as they all joined the girls outside.

"Yes, please, tell me you spent a bit of our money! You deserve the best." Kol smiled.

"As if! She's hard to buy for, claims she doesn't need half of it. I managed to convince her to get a few things, but only a quarter of these bags are hers, the rest are mine. And I'm pretty sure that in her bags there are at least 5 gifts for her father." Rebekah replied, already sorting the bags.

"You made me get one ball gown, I had no use for a second one! And I already have 1 bathing suit I don't use, no need for three more!" Bella shook her head.

"I'll take you shopping later, just the two of us. And I'll make sure you use your bathing suit this summer." Kol whispered, making Bella blush because it felt like he was planning on doing more than shopping.

"You know, Kol's right. I'll order a swimming pool right now for here and ask my hybrid construction team to build an indoor pool in our Forks Home." Klaus exclaimed, excited, before he speed away with his cell phone in hand.

"Add a jacuzzi too!" Rebekah call after him.

"What happened while we were gone?" Bella asked Kol as he carried her bags in their room.

"We got a message from Sage, she'll be here tonight." Kol informed her.

"That's great! I can't wait to meet her." She exclaimed, truly happy for Finn who smiled her way.

.

The rest of the day passed much too slowly for Finn and the rest of his siblings, because his own anxiety and nerves seemed to contaminate them all. They still managed to have dinner all together. Bella had insisted she cooked instead of ordering out and she managed to make something they all liked. Rebekah had helped her and they had made a cake for dessert.

It not until 10pm that they heard a car park outside the large house, along with rapid steps running towards the door. Finn had the door opened before a knock could be heard and when the rest of the family arrived in the hall, he had a tall red haired woman in his arms and he was spinning her around and kissing her.

Introductions were quickly made before the newly reunited couple excused themselves to go isolate themselves in Finn's bedroom.

Bella and Kol went to bed as well, quickly falling asleep in each other's arms.

.

The next morning, the entire family met to have breakfast together.

Bella enjoyed getting to know Sage, who in turn seemed fascinated by the link between Kol and the young human who had united and calmed down the siblings so quickly. She had never seen them all agree on the same thing, yet they all agreed that they loved Bella, that she was family and that they'd do anything to protect her. When Sage learned of what happened with James and Victoria, she swore to herself to do anything she could to protect the young human her love already considered a sister.

"You know, I passed through Phoenix quite a few time in the last 10 years. I haven't felt the urge to go there in the last year but I did go through Seattle and Port Angeles... I think maybe this bond Bella has with Kol extends and tried to get me on her path, in her life." Sage commented.

"That's weird." Bella commented.

"More proof that Bella was always meant to be one of us." Elijah smiled.

They were about to clean the breakfast table and all go their own way for the day when a knock came on the door. Before they could open it, it opened by itself and Esther stood there, in front of them. Immediately, they all stood up and Bella was touched by the fact that they all rushed to stand in front of her, to keep her as safe as possible from Esther and her magic.

"I mean you no harm, I want us to be a family again." Esther spoke, wondering if she'd managed to convince them or of they'd kill her.

She noticed how they had rushed to stand in front of the human she had seen from the other side and she wondered if, maybe, the spirits had been right and this girl was the key to her children's salvation. She was expecting this to be a lie, for her not to exist. Maybe her existing would change things, then. She made a decision here and there to observe and, depending on what she'd see in the next few days, she'd help them or she'd kill them all.

"Are we really supposed to believe that, when you've been trying to kill us all for so long?" Kol asked.

"Please, give me a chance to show you that I have changed, that we can be a family again. I know that I was wrong, the spirits showed me what could be, thanks to Kol's Bella." She pleaded, deciding to tell them part of the truth for now.

"I'm not letting her go anywhere near Bella!" Kol protested as his siblings seemed to want to agree.

"Everyone deserves a second chance, Kol, even your mother. Spending so long on the other side could have helped her change, she at least deserves a chance to prove it. It doesn't mean you have to let your guard down." Bella whispered, her hand on his arm.

"I swear, I will not hurt her." Esther promised.

All the siblings looked at Kol, silently agreeing that the decision was up to him.

"Fine, but I'll be watching you. You're not to do any magic without us supervising and you're never alone with Bella." Kol nodded.

"Alright. I was thinking that maybe I could help prove that I've changed by doing something for you. I... Niklaus, I could call Ansel, your birth father, and let you two talk... he... he did love you. He does love you, because I'm sure he's been by your side for the past thousand years. The blame for him staying away all this time is all mine." Esther suggested.

.

Just like she promised, Esther called Ansel so that he and Niklaus could get to know each other, thinking that her son would feel better knowing that he was loved by his father, his real father. His siblings had stayed a couple of minutes before they left the two alone and Esther followed them, decided on watching them interact.

While her very first intention had been to kill them all, she now realized that she had been wrong not to listen to the spirits on the other side. One look at her children was enough to see that Bella had changed them all.

"So, what do you want to do, sweetheart?" Kol asked Bella.

"Rebekah showed me a small library when she showed me the town, I was thinking of going there. They probably have books about their town, its history. I'm curious." Bella replied.

"If it's books you want, we have plenty, I can definitely satisfy your curiosity in any subjects, being a bit of a bookworm myself..." Elijah intervened with a kind smile.

"I know, Elijah, and I thank you for it but your books are mostly antiques and... Well, you might not have noticed but I am incredibly clumsy. While I've never injured a book, I mean damaged a book, I refuse to risk it with books that are so precious and not only older than me, but older than my grandmother as well." Bella smiled.

"It's true brother, I assure you, I've seen plenty in our dreams, and let me tell you, my love's clumsiness is almost supernatural." Kol added.

"Now that you mention it, I have seen you trip over thin air a few times." Elijah smiled while Sage chuckled.

"Anyway, I want to see what sort of books a town like this has in store." Bella replied with a smile.

"I'll go with you, then." Kol declared at the same time as Sage, Finn, Rebekah and Elijah offered, making Esther smile in amusement.

"This is a run to the book store, not a field trip! We can't all go, it will draw too much attention on us." Bella replied, amused and unaware that they were all thinking that they needed to protect her in case Victoria was around.

"I think I'll go with Kol, but thank you for the offer." Bella told the others.

Esther was able to guess her children's desire to protect Bella and so, as soon as the young human and Kol had left, she asked the ones left behind to join her in the magic room.

"What is it, Mother?" Finnik asked.

"I can guess that your collective desire to go with Bella to the bookstore was to protect her from this Victoria, and not to inspect their book selection. I want you all to tell me everything you know about her, then I'll do my best to figure out her plan, and what would be the best way to stop her. I meant what I said. Bella is important to our family, you'll be a stronger and united family with her but if she dies... I'd rather not think of what will happen. I can't allow it to happen." Esther declared.

"Alright. Thanks to the Cullen's we've gathered quite a lot of information, though it's still not enough." Elijah nodded and they all sat down to tell their mother what they knew.

Once they had told her everything, she nodded and started doing spells to ask the spirits of the other side for help finding Victoria. She wouldn't get the answers right away, but she decided to ask for answers about Bella's friend Alice as well. They had protected Bella and would continue to do so. They deserved her help.

What did you think of this one? I know, it's longer.
