Litwak's Arcade has grown bigger, accommodating new games and even Indoor Amusement Park attractions like a Roller Coaster and a Ferris Wheel. Today's story is about a young boy named Arthur who, after losing a friend, found himself as an upcoming star in Sugar Rush, one of Litwak's Arcade's popular racing games, and he will form friends and rivals along the way.

6. Chapter 6

Time Trials, The Slayer and the IRON STEEL

It was 7.00 in the morning, and Mr. Litwak was early, because some TobiKomi officials are coming to his office, and his employees are invited to have the discussion.

Shinji Hiramoto: "Mr. Stan Litwak?"

Stan Litwak: Yes, that's me."

Naomi Sakura: "Hello, Stan, sir, so, would you like to start the discussion?"

Stan Litwak: "To my office then, I'll show you the way."

Mr. Litwak and the two TobiKomi employees, or better known as Shinji Hiramoto, creator of the Wreck-It Ralph Spin-Off franchise and Naomi Sakura, creator of the Sugar Rush racing game franchise starting with the late 1997 Sugar Rush Speedway. Del Johnson, Don Moore, and Brian Reilly, Mr. Litwak's top class employees transport the two additional Sugar Rush Super Speedway Cabinets to be connected to the four cabinets.

Shinji Hiramoto: "So, Mr. Litwak, as you may know, the Sugar Rush World Championship is going to take place, and you have agreed that your arcade shall be the host for it, is that right?"

Stan Litwak: "Of course, my good sir, and I can promise you a Pleasant event too. The kids are going to love it."

Naomi Sakura: "And that it's also our opportunity to show those Freedom Games up. There is a reason they made Slaughter Race, to compete with us, so in retaliation, we've made Sugar Rush the better racing game there is."

Stan Litwak: "Well, you're never too old to overhaul a childhood game, am I right."

Shinji Hiramoto: "That's right, and I'm sure you will be happy with the new update we've mentioned earlier."

Stan Litwak: "Of course! Six players at once in VS Battles! It was done in other games, but it's starting to get rare nowadays. Look at Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune and even Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, or Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing, only up to 4 players."

Naomi Sakura: "And I do recall you got a Quad set before the Overhaul, right?"

Stan Litwak: "Yup, it was by some benefactors. And i thank God for it, may He bless those who cared for Arcade Games."

Then, the two creators left the arcade after further discussion, and the Arcade then opens at 8.00. Felix, Tamora and the Sugar Rush racers came from Fix-It Felix Jr. to check on Ralph, Shank, and Vanellope and to tell them the news. Due to the Plug-In of Sugar Rush Super Speedway Seats #5 and #6, two new Marshmallow Cameramen joined in andgathered with the rest of the Marshmallow crew.

Felix: "Ralph! Shank! Vanellope! You three are not going to believe this! Sugar Rush Super Speedway was UPGRADED! Now can accommodate up to 6 players in VS. Battle!"

Ralph: "Well, that's great!"

Vanellope: "More power to that move! I barely noticed!"

Shank: "Well, that is a nice surprise. But I gotta get back to the Internet world. (Calls her crew out) Come on guys, let's bail!"

Vanellope: "Okay, see you around, (hops to Shank's body, hugs her, and kisses her cheek) Mom….."

Shank can't help but be happy to see her daughter this loving; and after a while, she and her crew left Sugar Rush. Ralph and Vanellope then help out the locals in preparation of the Election and the upcoming tournament, while Felix, Tamora, Adorabeezle, Jubileena and Rancis came to see Vanellope to see how she's doing.

Rancis: "Hi, sugarcheeks, how are you holding up?"

Vanellope: "Oh, Rancis, I'm doing fine…"

Rancis: "Look, Van, what Crumbelina said…. It was an Accident… She REALLY didn't mean it…"

Vanellope: "I know…. I hope you're not angry with her… You know how Gloyd reacts, right?"

Rancis: "Aye, I know how he felt. Grh, ESPECIALLY when he's STILL in Charge for 2 more months.

Adorabeezle: "The sooner the candidate won this election, the better."

Ralph: "Oh, you, uh, got a problem with that?"

Felix: "Well, um…. Uh…."

Tamora: "To answer your question, Wreck-It, Gloyd's no problem, that ain't it…. His FANS were….."

Vanellope: "Huh, how come?"

Jubileena: "Well, how do I say it, um… Remember when I told you that they are part of Sugar World's Armed Forces?"

Vanellope: "The Military?"

Rancis: "The VERY Same. Back in 2007, Taffyta used to be their Commanding Officer, and thanks to that King-Turbo-Candy guy, he established those Carrot Rejects into methaporical Pain in the…."

Tamora: "Ass…."

Felix: "Tammy!"

Vanellope: "(Raises an eyebrow, confused) Um… why is that a bad thing?"

Jubileena: "Oh, you didn't know? Those candy corns are a real hassle, Even nowadays ever since. You're lucky you're not on their sight back when King Candy ruled this game."

Adorabeezle: "Man, I remember when Taffyta remarked on how INFURIATING it is to discipline those runts, and can't you believe what King Candy said to those candy corns?"

Vanellope: "What?"

Rancis: "That King Candy has also allowed them to be Cruel without Remorse towards you. Man I tell you, that they are quite a few imbecilic people in this arcade."

Jubileena: "And with Gloyd being President, they've STILL taken advantage over it and Bark Orders on anyone, ESPECIALLY in Preparation of the 2018 Presidential Election of Sugar Rush AND the preparation of the World Championship the same year."

Ralph: "I see. To be honest, I suggest we play along. So, anyway, who would you guys be voting for?"

Jubileena: "Well, I say we Vote Vanellope for this year."

Adorabeezle: "Since this is the FIRST Time this Arcade is going to host a Worldwide event, Vanellope should be the lead Representative."

Rancis: "Wait a minute, Jubi, Adora, did you mean we should rig the Elec…."

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "(Walking towards the group with several soldiers) ATTENTION, ATTENTION!"

Vanellope: "Oh no…."

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "So, What is all this then, YOU, (Pointing at Vanellope) Why are you just sitting on your candy butt here?"

Vanellope: "Um, I… I was just… taking a break?"

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "I see. Anyway, you and your three men here are to March to Royal Raceway by 800 Hours! And as for YOU Three Foreigners, the Arcade is about to OPEN, Also in 800 Hours!"

Vanellope: 800 Hours? Does that in Military mean, 8 o'Clock in the morning?"

Rancis: "Yes, precisely."

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "Oi! There's NO whispering among the other ranks allowed!"

Tamora: "Lieutenant, wih all due respect, these kids are CIVILIANS! I'm the only one who's part of the Armed Forces, because my kids here are NOT Subject to Military Protocol!"

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "SILENCE! I don't want any word from you, Sergeant! And since you three are not part of this region, I say that you three are to return to your regions ON THE DOUBLE, and If I hear any nonsense from you, I shall report you to the Supreme Leader!"

Adorabeezle: "You mean Gloyd?"

Male Candy Corn Lieutenant: "OF COURSE! So Move your molasses and GET TO YOUR POSTS SHARPISH!"

Ralph: "(Annoyed) SIR YES SIR!"

Tamora: "Fine, we're going anyway. But I got my eyes on you."

Ralph, Felix and Tamora walked away annoyed, and the 4 racers ran back to their karts to get to Town Square where the other racers are waiting. Vanellope walked away pouting. Gloyd and Crumbelina were confused to see her like this.

Crumbelina: "Um, Van? What's wrong?"

Vanellope: "Those Candy Corns, that's what!"

Gloyd: "What, so you got a taste of their peculiarity?"

Vanellope: "Gloyd, I get that they're your fans but…"

Gloyd: "Ah, take no notice, they are just grumpy. Even though they DO Prioritize Dicipline, which I myself take LITERALLY Seriously, I do have problems with their playstyle."

Crumbelina: "Ugh, I remember when one of those threatens to spank me if I don't sort something out."

Rancis: "Grh, you could say that again."

Candlehead: "But enough about that! Is anyone ready to race?"

Vanellope: "YES I DO!"

The arcade opens as the clock strikes 08.00. Later that mid day, Arthur just finished his Schoolday, and he boards the train to Litwak's Arcade, where he met Molly and Swati. He also sees a rather big event at the arcade.

Arthur: "Hey guys… What's the topic about here?"

Molly: "Oh, haven't you heard? Sugar Rush just got updated for a 6-Player setting."

Arthur: "Oh, do tell."

Swati: "Well, TobiKomi made an announcement last night about the update. And there is something interesting too."

Arthur: "What about?"

Molly: "Sugar Rush World Championships. It started out as far as back in its First Anniversary in 1998, where the event started out back in New York. This year 6 Months ago, the event took place in Barcelona, Spain. I was one of the participants, and became the winner. I'll show you the trophy at my house later tonight, if you want to."

The three enter the arcade, and there's already a big crowd. Not only that; but the sight on Sugar Rush was already a big pack! Employees have made arrangements and Mr. Litwak is at the counter.

Arthur: "What's going on here?"

Molly: "(Sees a bunch of banners that say: Sugar Rush Monthly Time Trials! Enter now and reach Top 36 to qualify for the World Championship!) Oh, here's the thing. To join the World Championship, you have to join the Time Trials, and maintain on the Top 36. That is the Grade-A Requirements. And yes, you heard that, Grade-A. This means you have to Heather your way up to Grade-A to join the Top Leagues and Qualify for the World Championship. By the way, the Time Trials is once a month."

Arthur: "But won't it waste money if the championship takes place overseas?"

Swati: "Actually, you don't have to be insane, just go to your local arcade that has a Sugar Rush. For the World Championships, Every Arcade in the world is connected to one another, however, that's where the similarity ends. What Molly forgot to say on her part is to place Top 36 PER-Arcade during the regular Time Trials. Those who maintained Top 36 will then enter the Elimination Rounds, where All racers who reached Top 36 on the Regular Time Trials must race again for Top 36, only this one applies to ALL Arcades across the planet."

Arthur: "What the?! Well that's just crazy! Is anyone even able to keep track of ALL the records?!"

Molly: "Actually, they can. TobiKomi has taught the Arcades a magic touch to it, in a Figurative take, not literally, so you'll see for yourself to whatever this is. Come on."

Arthur, Molly and Swati walked to the counter to see Mr. Litwak.

Arthur: "Good afternoon, Sir, sign me up for the Time Trials."

Stan Litwak: "Ah, Arthur, good to see you, and you bet. I saw you've been making a name for yourself. And since the person who saved you was a superstar, it's best that I tell the world about it. Here's your entry number."

Arthur: "(Grabs an Entry Number card which has the #1 on it) Wait, I'm the first in line?"

Stan Litwak: "You're the first person to sign up for today."

Arthur: "Oh, okay. Say, whose record was the fastest in Royal Raceway?"

Stan Litwak: "Swati's got the fastest record, 07:56.988."

Arthur: "Got it! I'm going to try and beat that record today."

Arthur then sees a giant screen that was long installed ever since the Arcade's building was enlarged to a Mini-Mall size. At the screen shows the Sugar Rush Time Records, specifically, the flagship track's Race time. Because Royal Raceway is the longest track by lap, one lap is about 3-4 minutes to complete, and with the standard 3 laps set on this track, it takes 8-10 minutes to complete. Arthur walked to Sugar Rush Super Speedway and takes Seat #1 out of the 6 seats. Arthur waited for the announcement, and while he's at it, he saw the other patrons signing up for the Time Trials to qualify for the World Championship. And After a short while, the first Sugar Rush Monthly Time Trial begins. A familiar gamer takes Seat #2, and Arthur knew who it was.

Arthur: "Isaac?!"

Then, an employee who is the Showrunner of Litwak's Sugar Rush, named Mr. Dennis Weathers starts to speak.

Mr. Dennis: "Alright everyone, It's time for the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 Sugar Rush Super Speedway World Championship!"

An opening ceremony is held, and the first 6 participants: Arthur, Isaac, and four other kids are at the game's 6 seats, waiting instructions, while the crowd cheers for them.

Mr. Dennis: "And without further ado, Racers, Insert your coins to the game!"

Arthur: "I always wanted to join one of THESE…. (Inserts his first quarter of the day, followed by Isaac and the other kids.)"

Arthur, Isaac, and the other kids then tapped their Tobi-Save Cards, loading their Save Data. Arthur confirms his solo racer Vanellope, Isaac picked his racer Taffyta, and the other kids play as Gloyd, Swizzle, Minty Zaki, and Jubileena (Four racers of whom were previously played by Swati (Gloyd), Mike (Swizzle), Jackson (Minty Zaki), and Nafisa (Jubileena))

Vanellope: "Oh? (Jumps in excitement) Ha-HAAA!"

Taffyta: "(Brushes her hair with one hand and pumps her other one up, carrying a LolliPop.)"

Gloyd: "(Brushes his hair using one hand and snickers evilly)"

Swizzle: "(Does a Single-Jump-Triple-Flip and raises both arms up) HA HAAA!"

Minty Zaki: "(Jumps twice and raises both hands up) Alright!"

Jubileena: "(Jumps and points both fore-fingers up) Ha!"

As instructed, the 6 players chose "Play Together". The rules in the regular time trials are as follows: The gameplay is Casual Mode, and the only track allowed is Royal Raceway (For consistency reasons), and you are to stay in Top 36 in your local Arcade to qualify for the Elimination rounds, which starts using Simulation mode and the Top 36 for the Elimination round is Worldwide for the Finals. Arthur and Isaac are the only ones who set the Camera to 3D-Max and activate Motion Simulator, having fastened their Seat-Belts and wore the 3D-Power Goggles. As the loading screen takes place, the Racers inside the game are getting prepared. Due to the upgrade to 6-Seaters, there are 6 Marshmallow Cameramen who are assigned to the player-linked racers.

Vanellope: "Ready to lose, Taffyta?"

Taffyta: "Oh Vanny, you're just so… you (Smiling)."

Vanellope: "(Giggles) This will be fun indeed."

Gloyd: "Rrrgh (Annoyed with Vanellope's childishness)"

Minty Zaki: "Good luck, guys!"

Swizzle: "Alright, let's do this!"

The Four opponents are as follows: Crumbelina, Citrusella, Rancis and Sakura.

Minty Zaki: "Sakura… good luck with your campaign."

Sakura: "Hai,-sō shimasu! (Yes, I will.)"

Announcer: "ARE YOU READY? 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! START!"

And the race begins! Vanellope and Taffyta are launched to the Leading positions due to Arthur and Isaac's timing.

Mr, Dennis: "The race just started and WHOHW Look at that, Arthur and Isaac are already in front of the opponents, making the gap bigger and bigger as they rush off the straight lines!"

Arthur and Isaac's racers zipped across Gumball Gorge and into Cakeway Tower, and Isaac starts to drift as his racer Taffyta enter the spiral, and towards the launch cannon, Isaac accelerated around the last corner, leaving Arthur and Vanellope in 2nd place. On special occasions like the Time Trial races, all Power-Ups are restricted to only Sugar boost cubes. Arthur and Isaac's racers Vanellope and Taffyta got two each, one in Gumball Gorge and another in Cakeway Tower.

Molly: "Whohw, did you see that?! Isaac was insane, he didn't even crash at all when he accelerated around the tight spiral to the launch tunnel and he managed to stay focused! Normally speed mains aren't suitable for that kind of high speeds on corners…."

Driving through Frosty Mountain and Nougat Underground, Arthur and Isaac's racers Vanellope and Taffyta are still in the lead, but it's clear that Isaac and Taffyta are in 1st place. Arthur only raced a Player-Linked Taffyta ONCE, and that was when he first started playing Sugar Rush at the date of Heather's Death. Advancing to Lap 2 of three, with Vanellope and Taffyta's Superpower Bars fully charged, prompting Arthur and Isaac to activate their skillsthe other racers are still way behind. Arthur tries to copy every of Isaac's techniques, but it will take longer to fully master them all.

Swati: "Maybe you're right, look how calm Isaac is. The way he dodges the gumballs, his capability to stabilize Taffyta in tight corners, I bet he must have like millions of hours practicing this track."

Molly: "But look at Arthur, he's so focused too. It's like Arthur is copying Isaac's driving style, even with all Power-Ups being restricted to speed boost and only Character Skills are allowed."

Swati: "Molly, did you really not know, that both Vanellope and Taffyta have the EXACT same stats; Speed of 6 bars, Acceleration and Handling of 5 bars each, Defense and Sweetness of 4 bars each? The only difference is that Vanellope is Beginner Friendly, which is why her controls are the easiest, and Taffyta being restricted to hardcore players only, which is why HER controls are the hardest."

Vanellope: "(Upon reaching Cakeway Tower, still behind Taffyta) Geez, Taffyta's going pretty fast! ("Maybe she was still intimidated by my former glitch") Aaagh…. i…. i…."

Vanellope started sweating and losing focus, and just as Arthur accelerated her to the right side of Isaac and Taffyta, Vanellope starts losing her touch and closed her eyes nervously. It's because not only Taffyta is better than Vanellope and that the former's player was a complete elite, but also because she couldn't fully recover from last night's events. Taffyta saw this and was both worried and cross.

Taffyta: "(Punches Vanellope)"

Isaac: "? (Shocked to see his racer punch Vanellope like that.) (What's going on with the racers? Are they self conscious? Meh, it's probably nothing.)"

Vanellope: "Aaagh!"

Taffyta: "VANNY! Keep your eyes on the track!"

Vanellope: "Grrh, Ogh… ogh…. You're right… I'm so sorry."

Taffyta: "(Looking worried) Vanny, what's wrong?"

Vanellope: "(Shrugs in distress but tries to hide her stress anyway) I'm fine, I'M FINE!"

But Taffyta knew better. Never in her life had she seen Vanellope in a state of distress in a race. Usually, Vanellope has fun and taunts at the racers. Meanwhile at Fix-It Felix Jr., Ralph, Felix, Tamora, and the other characters watch Vanellope race. The other games were not played so it's clear for the arcade characters to be at Niceland City. This is so that players are not distracted by the situation in Sugar Rush, so all the other games are locked.

Mary: "Sergeant Calhoun, did you see your daughter Taffyta?! How dare she punch Vanellope like that?"

Tamora: "(Smirks) Well can't say I blame Taffyta, Like mother like Daughter? I taught her well."

Deanna: "(Disgusted) Lady, you really are MESSED UP; I don't get what Felix sees in…"

Tamora: "(Punches Deanna in annoyance) CAN-IT, citizen. I don't take kindly to you offending Fix-It over what he sees in a woman."

Ralph: "Come on, guys, be civil."

Felix: "Yeah, what he said."

Tamora: "Sorry, it's just that I can't seem to keep cool to anyone who would say something wrong about you two."

Felix: "But still, I'm worried about Vanellope. Did we really raise Taffyta OR the other racers for that matter to be harsh to Vanellope or were her actions justified?"

Tamora: "Look, I know the concerns with kids bullying one another, but if Taffyta meant well, and since that Arthur kid has Vanellope's control, it's natural for Taffyta to want the racers to stick with the program. I'm pretty sure you would learn what would happen if you didn't stick to the rules during Open Hours as shown in that movie about us, no offense, Wreck-It."

Ralph: "None taken, we all know."

Back in the arcade…

Mr. Dennis: "Isaac is on Fire! He's still in 1st place with Arthur hot behind him, and the two racers aren't slowing down one bit, and with them now advancing to the Final Lap, they are going to battle for the win, but there is also another question! Are we going to see a new record in this arcade for Sugar Rush Super Speedway's Royal Raceway Time Records? Well at this rate it might just happen! This is just incredible; Both Arthur and Isaac Roar past the obstacles and the tight turns and they're STILL UNDER 7 MINUTES!"

Grabbing more Sugar Boost Cubes, Arthur and Isaac activates the Power-Ups to accelerate even faster, and jumping off the Launch Cannon of Cakeway Tower to Frosty Mountain, their racers Vanellope and Taffyta made the gap between themselves and the other racers bigger and bigger. But then, Isaac drove Taffyta to the Shortcut which has Booby Traps, and so is Arthur!

Mr. Dennis: "What's this?! Arthur and Isaac take a Shortcut which has Booby traps?! They're not going to like what's coming to them, because you don't want to mess up on these kinds of track parts, kids, Booby traps like the Double Striped Tree Branches and Laffy Taffy areas are going to cost you the race!"

Isaac, still in first place, examines the traps ahead of him as his racer Taffyta enters the tunnel, and with the right timing, he dodges them easily! Arthur and Vanellope follow suit by slip-streaming behind. Slip-streaming is a feature in Sugar Rush Super Speedway, where by driving behind an opponent, you can follow them at a close distance and steering will be eased off, so that you don't have to steer too hard. But in Sugar Rush Super Speedway SPECIFICALLY, Slip-streaming is a Double edged Sword. If the opponent crashes, you will slow down as penalty.

Mr. Dennis: "Oh no! Look ahead! It's the biggest trap of this section on the track! It looks like it's the end of our two leaders!"

Isaac saw the BIGGEST Trap on this section, and when all seems lost for him, he decides to do something wild. He drives to a Banked Edge-wall on the right side, where a Tiny Gap is present.

Arthur: "("What is he doing?! I hope I can replicate it too!)"

Arthur replicates what Isaac does, and as expected, both Vanellope and Taffyta are in Tilted position!

Mr. Dennis: "HOLD IT! What are they doing?!"

Arthur and Isaac's racers Vanellope and Taffyta drove off the banked wall and ARE NOW IN A SIDE-WHEEL POSITION! They are going Faster and Faster, and they are advancing towards the gap of the traps!

Mr. Dennis: "WATCH closely people, you may never WITNESS THIS AGAIN! (Unaware that the audience is recording the race, and then sees Vanellope and Taffyta squeezed through the gap, and barely made it through and kept their speed maintained) THEY'VE DONE IT, AMAZING! Arthur and Isaac pulled off an Insane Maneuver just to PASS a TRAP!"

Vanellope and Taffyta then jumped off back to the main track via the merger, and the two racers are side by side!\

Vanellope: "Taffyta, Thank you….."

Taffyta: "(Smiling) You're welcome, Vanny…."

Swati: "Well, now that's pure talent! Isaac didn't even choke one bit!"

Molly: "And so is Arthur, he's a quick learner Who knows he might be on par with Elvin and Adrian!"

Swati: "Adrian?"

Molly: "Adrain is from Singapore, he's the winner of Sugar Rush World Championship 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand."

Swati: "Wait, are you saying that we have a South East Asian Sugar Rush player here?"

Molly: "Oh, you didn't know? I competed with him in the 2017 Championship back in Barcelona, Spain. He qualified here before the finals."

The two then got out of the tunnel and into the final straight! Their Superpower Bars are full, and this prompts Arthur and Isaac to activate the skills: Sugar Nitro (Vanellope) and Taffy Slingshot (Taffyta), hurling the two racers forward, accelerating to 236 MPH! And they crossed the Finish Line! Taffyta however came First and Vanellope in Second, but then….

Mr. Dennis: "THEY DID IT! ARTHUR AND ISAAC ARE BOTH THE NEW RECORD HOLDERS DESPITE GOING THROUGH THAT SHORTCUT WHICH IS FULL OF TRAPS, TWO NEW RECORDS ARE NOW IN THE HALL OF FAME, ISAAC'S IS 07:54.299 AND ARTHUR'S IS 07:54.536!"

Taffyta: "HAHA! I WON!"

Vanellope: "HOORAY FOR TAFFYTA!"

Molly: ("Whohw, Isaac's still got it! He must be one of those Absolute Mad Men who's desperate to win!)"

Swati: "Whohw, I though MY record was unbreakable!"

Taffyta: "(Received her 1st place trophy) Great job, guys!"

Minty Zaki: "You all did great!"

Jubileena: "You too, Taffyta!"

Swizzle: "And Vanellope too!"

Vanellope: "Aww, thanks, guys."

Mr. Dennis: "Alright, since Isaac is the winner, he will get a free game, and he is to finish it so that we can advance to the next batch! And don't forget, we have two new records today!"

Arthur leaves the game, and got his data saved, and then he met two familiar kids with their Entry numbers.

Arthur: "Oh, Nancy? Mike? You guys are in on this too?"

Nancy: "Well, we heard that the World Championship takes place here for 2018."

Mike: "And since we both live near this Arcade, why not give it a shot?"

Arthur: "Well, that's great. What are your numbers?"

Mike: "I'm number 8."

Nancy: "And I'm number 11. We're in the Second Batch of today."

Arthur: "Well, that's great! Oh, And you won't believe what happened."

Mike: "We saw it! You and Isaac beat Swati's record! Great Job!"

Nancy: "Well, we'll be on the game."

Arthur: "Good luck!"

Arthur then met up with Molly and Swati, who got their entry numbers. Nafisa managed to arrive to get her entry number as well.

Nafisa: "Sorry I'm late, guys. Oh, hey, Arthur."

Swati: "Hey, Nafisa, you ready for the World Championship?"

Nafisa: "You bet I am! If only Heather was here."

Arthur: "I know…. She would love to participate."

Molly: "Oh, speaking of Heather, she was the winner of the 2015 World Championship that took place in Taipei!"

Arthur: "WHAT?! Sugar Rush reached Taiwan?!"

Molly: "Like i said, It's the World Championship, so OF COURSE it can take place anywhere! Hell, 2013's World Championship was in Medan, Sumatera, Indonesia, and Guess who the winner was!"

Arthur: "Who was it?"

Molly: "Wisnu Haryanto from Jakarta was the winner of that year. I encountered him back in 2014, and he was a pleasant guy. And guess what, Wisnu was the Three Times champion of Sugar Rush World Championship, from 2012 in Hong Kong, 2013 in Medan like I told you earlier, and 2014 in Vancouver! But for two years, he has been absent, no one knows where he is, maybe he retired."

Arthur: "I see. Say, what are your numbers?"

Molly: "I'm number 19."

Swati: "I'm number 22."

Nafisa: "I'm number 24."

Arthur: "Okay, good luck, on, by the way, Nancy and Mike are on the Second Batch."

Arthur then walked to the second floor to the Café and ordered a Hamburger, while he watches the second batch of racers at the seat, right after Isaac finished his free game and left the Arcade.As Arthur purchased some meals to share to his new friends once they're done with their races, Jackson and Norton arrived at the arcade to see the whole Time Trial thing they've never heard of. This is because Jackson had never knew about the Sugar Rush World Championships, because he never even bothered to ask Heather about Sugar Rush at all, and Norton never even heard about Sugar Rush prior to his first visit to Litwak's, which was ALSO his first visit to a Video Game Arcade. Jackson and Norton then saw Mike and Nancy with their respective racers: Swizzle and Adorabeezle, at the Royal Raceway's starting line with 8 other racers.

And because Jackson and Norton never had experience in Sugar Rush before, they decided not to get involved in this "life wasting bullfire" they are misled to believe by some toxic Non-Gamers, like that one time where they heard some toxic feminist women berating video game companies for petty excuses. And in playing Slaughter Race, they don't try to join the E-Sports league of said game, which Major League Gaming is Slaughter Race's main Sponsor, while Sugar Rush's Sponsor in the World Championships is EVO. Both Jackson and Norton had a lot to learn if they want to join the Sugar Rush League, which had surpassed the Mario Kart Club in 2015.

After a while, Jackson and Norton see the race as Mike and Nancy are in 5th and 6th places behind Candlehead, Rancis, Gloyd, and Citrusella; while said six racers (Which Mike, Nancy, and the 4 other players drove as) are in front of Vanellope, Minty Sakura, Minty Zaki, and Nougetsia. The race is halfway of Lap 2, and Mike and Nancy have been making strategic overtakes against the other players, closing in on them whenever they pull away. As they approach Nougat Underground, Mike and Nancy managed to overtake two players and took 3rd and 4th place respectively. Jackson and Norton had never seen younger kids be this competent in racing games before.

Jackson: "Man, look at those two kids, they may be younger than us but MAN! They're good!"

Norton: "Who cares? Slaughter race gamers are much moar aggressive than these chumps."

Jackson: "Yeah, whatever. But you gotta admit, these guys are nuts as hell, like Mad Men!"

Norton: "Looks like your devilish Sister from Hell did left a tremendous impact on'em!"

Jackson: "Man, I'm gonna miss her. Every of her actions will be remembered."

Norton: "Every action? Are you saying that your sister had also done some…"

Jackson: "Damn straight, everything. And most of them are extremely problematic! And I ain't gona tell you about the whole thing here, because many gamers are afraid of her title, let alone her name. If you wanna, I'll let you visit my house in our upcoming study group with our classmates."

Norton: "Alright, I'm down. Say, wanna get Arthur in this study group? He's quite smart and he manages to be on par with the likes of Kim, Carson, Martha, and Olivia in terms of Academics."

Jackson: "Sure, I'll get him into this. What could possibly go wrong?"

Later, at the final stretch of Lap 3, Nancy wins 1st and Mike wins 2nd, and they managed to get a closer record below Swati's. Jackson and Norton noticed that the other games were locked and restricted, this is to prevent distraction from the event, and with Nancy being the 1st place winner, she got the free shot, and she races Adorabeezle in Sugar Speed Ring. Mike then met up with Jackson and Norton.

Mike: "Jackson, right? I heard about what Arthur said about you."

Jackson: "Uh, kid, you trying to creep me out or something?"

Mike: "So I heard, you're one of those from…."

Norton: "SHUT UP! Keep it a secret! We don't want any bullroar here!"

Mike: "Suit yourselves, punks, but remember, whatever stays hidden in the dark, comes out to light."

Jackson: "Norton, this guy's creeping me the hell out! Let's get outta here!"

Norton: "I'm with you, let's get to the café."

Jackson and Norton walked away to the Café at Floor 2, where they met Arthur.

Norton: "Hey, Arthur."

Arthur: "Hey, guys. What's going on?"

Jackson: "Listen, you didn't try to expose us, do you?"

Arthur: "Of course not, I wouldn't be that stupid."

Norton: "Well, that's a good thing, cuz' there's this creepy young kid named Mike who talked to us in a devilish tone that came from hell about us."

Arthur: "Just ignore him, he's clueless, that's all."

Jackson just came from his sister's funeral earlier that morning, but he's able to get over it. And later, a big crowd scream is heard. Nancy and Mike managed to get close to Swati's record, and made it to the Top 5 Local Fastest Royal Raceway time: 07:57.244 (Nancy) and 07:58.321 (Mike). After a while, it's time for the third batch. One of the racers in the third batch goes as Vanellope, but the third batch's racers only managed to get only 8 minutes to 9 minutes. After the third batch's winner's free game, it's Molly, Swati, and Nafisa's turn.

Arthur, Jackson, and Norton all watched the race from the Café's Interior balcony seats. It's a long while, but the three girls managed to get to Top 10 out of the Top 36. Swati was unable to reclaim her record, unfortunately, because the new record was so fast. About 8 batches later, it's time for the Last Batch, the 12th batch to be exact, and on Entry Number 70, was a young teenage guy in violet spiked hair and dark lavender outfit. He also had a scar in his left face. His racer is Candlehead. Alongside him is Rebecca, who is Entry Number 72.

Candlehead: "(Claps her hands and a fire is ignited on her candle, and then pumps her right fist up.)"

Minty Sakura: "(Pulls up her katana, swings it, and hoists it up with a serious face)"

The final time trial of the day then starts after the loading screen. The violet guy and Rebecca blasts off to the lead, and are now under the heat of 4 other players. Because the violet guy and Rebecca are experts, they are basically leaving the other racers behind. Arthur was surprised to see that this violet guy is basically similar to Isaac earlier. Both their play-styles are similar. Isaac going as Taffyta was one of the many things that Arthur finds interesting, and that part where Taffyta slaps Vanellope for getting stressed out does shock him a little. But Arthur decided not to ask. And after three laps, the violet guy and Rebecca crossed the finish line, the Viole guy being the winner with 07:55.100 while Rebecca came 2nd with 07:55.366, basically reaching Top 4 behind Isaac and Arthur. Because the violet guy wins, he gets the free game, and because it's the last batch, the other games are now open.

Ralph: "ALRIGHT, THE GAMES ARE NOW OPEN, EVERYONE GET BACK TO YOUR POSITIONS!"

The characters at Fix-It Felix Jr. then hurried off to the train station, and board the train to Game Central Station and hurried back to their respective games right on time. Likewise, Arthur walks to Sugar Rush's Seat #1 and have another go. Not only him, but Isaac returns to the Arcade to have another go at Sugar Rush. Tapping his Tobi-Save Card, he checks his stats, and still with Vanellope as his only racer, he confirms her. And Isaac has other racers than just Taffyta, like Rancis (But he drives the Kit-Kart)

Vanellope: "Oh? (Jumps in excitement) Ha-HAAA!"

Taffyta: "(Brushes her hair with one hand and pumps her other one up, carrying a LolliPop.)"

Jackson and Norton then played other games, which are open after the Time Trial ended, and everything goes back as usual, except for Sugar Rush. Swati and Nafisa came to Hero's Duty, where they met Jackson and Norton. Molly went elsewhere to play other games. Sally was nowhere to be seen, which means she had completely missed the first Time Trial of the week. Anyway, Arthur, Isaac, and the violet guy chose Caramel Abyss, but Isaac and the violet guy chose Simulation Mode, which is chronologically the second time Arthur would race using Realistic Setup, something he managed to get a hold of when he first raced Isaac and Rebecca. At the starting line of Caramel Abyss however.

Taffyta: "So, Candlehead, I heard you'll be campaigning for President for 2018."

Candlehead: "You bet I am. I have 2 months to make my campaign!"

Vanellope: "So do i. But when the World Championship is going to be held in 2018, Jubi and Adora suggest that the election should be rigged in my favor, like, what's up with that?"

Rancis: "I questioned that same thing too with those two! Like, seriously?"

Taffyta: "Alright, I'll have a word with them. I'll even get Terry, Ryu, and Mom to talk this out too."

Vanellope: "Sounds good to me! Now who's ready to race at the Abyss?!"

Announcer: "Are you ready? 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! START!"

And the race begins. Caramel Abyss has a short Main Straight of its Starting/Finish Line, and runs on 4 Laps for both Casual and Simulation. From the main straight comes the first Right Slalom into the narrow Valley of Caramel Abyss' environment; Arthur, Isaac, the violet guy, Vanellope, Taffyta, and Candlehead are in the Top 3 of the pack, with Rancis in 4th, Sticky in 5th, Torvald in 6th, Nougetsia in 7th, Citrusella in 8th, Gloyd in 9th, and Swizzle in 10th. Through the gentle left turn across the valley after the slalom comes a sharp left turn into a tunnel, specifically, a Caramel Gold Mine. Arthur and Vanellope are in 3rd place; Isaac and Taffyta are in 2nd, while the violet guy and Candlehead are in 1st. The tunnel was a straight line, leading into a larger tunnel with deep pits, and the track parts that are usually open in Casual Mode to get to shortcuts, are closed in Simulation Mode.

Exiting the mine is into a Bridge that leads the race into the top of the valley, which leads to another bridge back to the bottom of the abyss and a medium right turn into another tunnel, but wasn't part of the mine, and exiting this tunnel is a straight line, also a long gentle left turn back to the starting/finish line. During Lap 1, Arthur and Vanellope stayed in 3rd place because Isaac, the violet guy, Taffyta, and Candlehead were driving pretty much better in Sync. This is where Arthur realized something. The violet guy was suspicious to him.

Arthur: "(Man, that guy in violet drives good. He still managed to stay in 1st place. Isaac and Taffyta are still in second while Vanellope and I are stuck back here. Gotta think of something to pass those two. Molly warned me about…. Wait…. Violet?)"

Arthur realized who the guy in violet was. It was ELVIN. Molly told Arthur about Elvin's title, which was perfectly in line with his color of choice. Halfway of Lap 2 in the first bridge to the top of the Caramel Abyss, both Isaac and Elvin are Neck-and-Neck, and there is an opening for Arthur and Vanellope. And sure enough, Arthur caught up with the two. Elvin was the one who saw it, and he was shocked.

Elvin: "(What?! This new guy's way better than I thought he was! Aaaugh, he's coming up so fast!)"

Arthur: "(Ha! Easy for that to be done when you're distracted. I thought this Elvin was supposed to be good.)"

Isaac: "(Man, Arthur has grown, he's really getting a lot better! I don't know how he managed to catch up, but, it doesn't matter right now. But with him now catching up to me, i….)"

Advancing to Lap 3, it's apparent that Arthur and Vanellope are closing the gap and about to overtake Isaac, Taffyta, Elvin, and Candlehead. As the race progresses, Molly walked back to the first floor, and there, she saw Arthur, Isaac, and Elvin, now in the last lap of Caramel Abyss, and they have just exited the last tunnel to the final straight and long left turn back to the finish line.

Elvin: "(I thought newcomers would be driving sloppy, but this guy is not like any of them! Seriously? Is he really this good since we race?"

Arthur: "(Oh yeah, I am so gonna win this!)"

At the last turn to the finish line, Arthur and Vanellope took the inside and are now in 1st place, but Elvin takes NONE of it, and he drives Candlehead TOWARDS VANELLOPE and BIFF HER ASIDE, Slowing Vanellope down!

Vanellope: "AAAAAAGH!"

Candlehead: "Oops, Sorry, Vanny, this is MY win!"

Taffyta: "Oh no you don't!"

Elvin: "(No one gets in my way! Back Off, Isaac, you're going down too!)"

Arthur: "(Aaargh! That Elvin is one dirty player! He's not supposed to do that!)"

Elvin and Candlehead block Isaac and Taffyta, and with Arthur and Vanellope falling to third place, Elvin and Candlehead won the race.

Candlehead: "HAHA! I WON!"

Taffyta: "Whohw, Great job, Candlehead!"

Vanellope: "Yeah! Way to go, Candlehead!"

Rancis: "Awesome Racing, Candles!"

Swizzle and Sticky: "Yeah, you did great!"

Candlehead: "Aww, thanks, guys. You all did great too!"

Gloyd: "Yeah, you said it!"

Arthur then left the game, and his progress is saved, then he walked to Molly, Swati, and Nafisa.

Arthur: "Hey, Molly, what do you know about this Elvin guy?"

Molly: "Well, he's just an elite Sugar Rush Racer, no more no less."

Arthur: "Not quite. There must be something up with him? When I took the lead in that last lap, he drove Candlehead towards Vanellope and bashed the latter off, is that even allowed in real races?"

Swati: "I don't think so, Accident I get, but a Deliberate Attack is a yellow flag, to be honest."

Nafisa: "So, what do you guys wanna do?"

Arthur: "I wanna check on Molly's Trophy, and, oh, I got a message from Jackson, he said he wants me to be in his Study Group tonight."

Molly: "Sure, I'll take you to my house first then."

Arthur, Molly, Swati, and Nafisa left the arcade and took a ride on Molly's black Subaru WRX to her house. When they arrived, Molly shows Arthur the Champion's Trophy, which has a Monumental design with Racing Flags as wings, and Vanellope's kart, the Royal Racer (Which was her previous kart in the original game).

Arthur: "Whohw, now that's Insanity 101..."

Molly: "You bet. It's a tough challenge to win one like this, but with the upcoming 2018 World Championship, with any luck, you may be the next winner."

Arthur: "You really think so?"

Molly: "I don't think so, i KNOW you can."

Arthur just smiled. Molly is a friendly person, so much so that she understands those who want to do their best. It's not that she thinks they can, it's because she KNOWS that they can. Then, Arthur got a text message from his two new classmates Jackson and Norton, asking him if he wants to join a study group together. Arthur agrees, because he wants to introduce Arcade games in general and Sugar Rush to his new classmates. Arthur arrived at Heather's (Or rather, Jackson's) house onboard Molly's car. This is because Molly knew Jackson very well, especially because he is Heather's brother. Arthur met Jackson and Norton at the front door. The house is a HUGE 3 floor Mansion. This is because Heather's family runs a World wide Business conglomerate which happens to be partnered with techno giant TobiKomi, yes, the SAME TobiKomi that created Fix-It Felix Jr., Wreck-It Ralph, Sugar Rush, and Hero's Duty franchises (And partnered with Walt Disney Company for that Movie adaptation)

Jackson: "So, Arthur, you ready for the Study session tonight?"

Arthur: "Oh, of course. I'm in for this one."

Norton: "We also got some good friends for you to talk to."

Arthur: "Oh, okay… I guess…."

Arthur joins the study group with Jackson and Norton. Among them are other kids like Olivia, Martha, Jim, and Carson, etc. During the study session, the other kids discuss about Arthur.

Martha: "So, this is that Arthur kid who transferred to our class yesterday?"

Carson: "It is him. We saw him on BuzzzTube when those people recorded the race."

Olivia: "Hmmm, he's kinda quiet. I was expecting a loud arrogant jock or something."

Arthur said nothing. When the study session was halted for a break, Arthur began to speak up.

Arthur: "So, you guys wanna play Sugar Rush at Litwak's this Friday?"

Olivia: "Oh, I love that game. Vanellope is such an adorable winner."

Martha: "I love Jubileena, though. She's very amazing with those Twin Cherry Bombs."

Vanessa: "I like Rancis. I also think he and Vanellope would make a great couple."

Lara: "We'd like to play that game for ourselves. Too bad almost none of us have a Home Console to play the Console version of Sugar Rush."

Timothy: "Who cares about Sugar Rush, Slaughter Race is the Hottest Heat right now! BuzzzTube's sponsoring Slaughter Race."

Martha: "Oh really? Because from what I've heard, The Sugar Rush World Championship is going to steal the heat!"

Arthur: "Wait, you guys knew about the World Championships?"

Carson: "Dude, for real?! E.V.O., as in, Evolution Championship Series, Sponsors the Sugar Rush World Championships, have you been living under a rock?"

Arthur: "Maybe?"

Jeremy: "Speaking of Sugar Rush and Slaughter Race, did you notice that the latter game has a player by the username of V4n3ll0p3V0n5chw33t2, that guy is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, I tell ya, it's like that player is a Hacker or something?"

Darryl: "Wait, you mean the one whose avatar looks like Vanellope?"

Vanessa: "WAIT WHAT?!"

Martha: "WAIT, How is that even….. OOooooooooooooohhhh…. Very Scary….."

Arthur: "What do you mean Vanellope is in Slaughter Race? From what Molly told me, Vanellope is the token Beginner Friendly Sugar Rush Racer. If following the Wreck-It Ralph movie logic, Vanellope can't be on two games at the same time, that's Going Turbo!"

Jackson: "Arthur, you don't know anything, do you? The Vanellope in Slaughter Race is probably just a Player Avatar customization. It's NOT even the real Vanellope, judging by the username! I remember when my cousin Jimmy saw V4n3ll0p3V0n5chw33t2 and he was left distraught. Along with…. Um, Norton, if BabeRaham_Linkin wasn't originally your account, where did you get it?"

Norton: "It belonged to your cousin's classmate Agnes Parcell. She was killed in 2016 in a highway Pile-Up. I was thankful that Jimmy was kind enough to hand me her account. I remember when I wanted to play Slaughter Race so bad."

Jackson: "I didn't know that. As far as I know, I only let Jimmy borrow my account back then."

Norton: "Yeah,k but Agnes told me that your cousin Jimmy once YELLED at your Grandma about his homework."

Jackson: "Oh, don't remind me, i'm still disgusted with that stupid stunt Jimmy pulled. Glad he's got his own Slaughter Race account so he doesn't have to pester my face."

Arthur: "Um, okay, I guess…"

Arthur had a great time talking with his new friends, and they resumed the study session. Also at the same night, back at Game Central Station, it's the first day of the Presidential campaign of Sugar Rush. The five candidates place out posters across the station and in other games, while promoting their visions ans missions. But out of the five parties, Candlehead's and Minty Sakura's are the MOST intriguing and interesting of all.

One of the visions in Candlehead's campaign is to raise safety measures in the Industrial sector of Sugar World, because Candlehead spotted that while one part is thriving, another is struggling because of some, hidden robberies by some bystander characters. Another vision is also very interesting, and this one came from Minty Sakura's campaign, which is to enforce punctuality on public transport, NOT just because she believes in Japan's Society, who uses public transportation on a regular basis, but also for the upcoming World Championship. Sakura came up with this vision SPECIFICALLY, so that everything runs like Clockwork.

Both Candlehead and Minty Sakura took this Presidential election AND their upcoming term for 2018 VERY Seriously. Candlehead wants to maintain a Good "International" Relationship in Logistics to other games in the Import-Export industry. This explains why there are freight/goods trains making stops from Sugar World to Game Central Station. Minty Sakura's reason to raise punctuality and On-Time Percentages for Public Transit, like the pre-existing Sugar Rush Fas-Train network, is due to the fact that NO DELAYS are allowed (BEYOND 60 seconds). Both Candlehead and Minty Sakura's campaigns' main missions and visions are to raise enough "budget" for ALL the necessities required for the World Championship.

Vanellope however, has two simple visions in her campaign; one is adding more Railway lines for more Frequency IN CASE of delays and two, decrease parking lots. Litwak's Sugar Rush's Sugar World was suffering HEAVILY from car usage, and this can ALL be traced back to 1997 when King Candy STOLE Litwak's Sugar Rush for himself. When King Candy busted Vanellope's code with no one knowing, he also disables ALL TRAIN NETWORKS, which explains that there are NO trains arriving to Game Central Station. Not only the Sugar Rush racers, but the CANDY NPCs are restricted to use cars (Daily Drive cars), and Congestion increases over the course of years. Simply coding a train was NOT Simple, which is WHY Vanellope re-enables the train system when the racers (And Ralph secretly) helped her rise to power.

Vanellope was happy that Sugar World ran in true Democracy, and that Many people want to run as President for a year (Only if they WANT to, there's no limit) and the idea that she has to FIGHT to earn it. All her friends may be just kids who just want to have fun and that's true, but in terms of responsibilities, they are LITERALLY DEAD SERIOUS, ESPECIALLY Gloyd. The pumpkin prankster was chosen for 2016-2017 President because his campaign last year, was to encourage the use of Natural Energy like Water, Wind, and the Sun, reducing OIL (Or in this world, Maple Syrup) dependency, and that also means demolishing roads and building Railway Lines. The idea of Sugar World being majorly a Rail based society was traced back to 2015 when Vanellope learned about Japan's rail network. This is why cars in Sugar Rush are BEST SUITED for racing.

After the roster competition with Taffyta in 1st, Vanellope in 2nd, Crumbelina in 3rd, Rancis in 4th, Snowanna in 5th, Citrusella in 6th, Nougetsia in 7th, Minty Zaki in 8th, and Minty Sakura in 9th, Ralph came to see his daughter Vanellope, and since Slaughter Race is still under a Weekday long Update work in the WorldWide Network servers, Shank spends her time at Litwak's.

Vanellope: "Hi, Ralph; Hi, Shank; how are things going?"

Ralph: "Things are going fine. Looks like you'll be getting some literal competition. Candlehead and Sakura's campaigns are eyecatching."

Vanellope: "Oh of course they are. You can tell that they are NOT joking at all. I can't believe that Adora and Jubi said that the election should be rigged in my favor."

Shank: "Oh, do tell."

Ralph, Vanellope, and Shank talked all night long about the Election and her campaign. Meanwhile, Arthur is still with his classmates. They've just finished their study session and decide to play games on Jackson's big bedroom. Jackson's bedroom has 4 2160px TV Screens with a Microsoft Xbox One console EACH. And since Jackson is around, he decides to play Slaughter Race. Norton butts in with him too. Carson and Darryl are also Slaughter Racers themselves. The rest of the kids played other games on their mobile phones.

Arthur then took out a beverage of tea, and when he walked back to the study room to go back to studying while the other kids are playing games, he saw the opened door to Jackson's game room. Since Arthur doesn't want to disturb the 4 boys, he decided to spy on them through the door. Without making any noises, he can comfortably watch as their avatars DirtySocks537, BabeRaham_Linkin, K1Ll3RCl0Wn, and GaNgStaGunNeR. Arthur watched as the 4 boys played the game, and with none of them noticing, Arthur decides to record the gameplay on his phone. After a while, Arthur and the kids go back to their homes. Back at Litwak's, Vanellope is on top of Bon-Bon Breeze Mountains with Shank while Ralph is at Niceland City, managing the campaigns there, as well as Felix and Tamora on other games. Shank is still in Sugar Rush and this is her second night because of Slaughter Race's current Update process which locked the World Wide server.

Shank: "Well, V, I never knew that there's a lot in this game."

Vanellope: "Well, stick around, and you'll see lots of fun stuff here!"

Shank: "More fun than Sequoia Coast, or the upcoming Hell Ridge?"

Vanellope: "(Nervously) Probably. Wait, Hell Ridge?"

Shank: "Yeah, that new area is part of the Maintenance Update. It's gonna be crazy, Hell Ridge is a Mountainous area, and is also a Heavy Industrial area like a Steelworks factory, Warehouses, Power plants. It's gonna be smoking hot and oily, the roads are also going to be super tight, way more-so than Sequoia Coast's mountains and hillsides."

Vanellope: "Ugh, That one may be uncomfortable. I'm used to the City-scapes and the Coasts, but not Industrial areas. Okay that one was ironic because the Industries in Sugar Rush emit Magic Sparkles and they don't pollute the atmosphere and use clean energy like water, wind, and the Sun."

Shank: "Don't you worry about that, V. I already knew you won't be comfortable with insane smog, so, when you log in Slaughter Race, there will be a package waiting for you."

Vanellope: "Oh…."

Shank: "Hmm… I've never raced here before. You sure the others won't mind?"

Vanellope: "Oh, well, just between you and me?"

Shank: "Sure."

Vanellope hops on to her kart, while Shank got onboard her car, and the two have a race across Chocolate Coast into the mountain roads. Meanwhile, Sugar Town is still busy as ever, lots of people are visiting local shops, playing games, and work all night long. Not to mention the campaigns for the Presidential Election of Sugar World for 2018, AND the World Championships. On Wednesday and Thursday, the arcade is just as busy as usual. Arthur also visited the Arcade after school to practice, as he is now part of the World Championship. At the same Thursday Night, after the roster competition, Vanellope has something to show both Ralph, Shank, something that haunts Vanellope. Felix, Tamora, the Sugar Rush racers, and Shank's crew are with the three.

Vanellope: "Everyone, I wanna show you something. (In a nervous and fearful expression) Follow me."

Vanellope boards her kart, followed by Shank in her car, her crew in their respective cars, Ralph, Felix, Tamora and the racers in their respective karts. Racing away from Sugar Town through a small highway road next to a High Speed Express Railway line where Sugar-Rush Fas-Trains pass the the group; and into an isolated territory not commonly accessible to the players. It was an underworld like abyss surrounded by Ultra-Tall Mountains, way scarier than Caramel Abyss, and into a Spirit-Esque gate into a dark tunnel only lit by nougat lights like you find in Nougat Underground. Into a larger dark cave, the group drives across the road which is surrounded by creepily glowing nougat lights like scattered Cy-Bug eggs.

Felix: "Jiminy-Jaminy, this place is kind of unsettling, and creepy…."

Tamora: "Reminds me of that Cy-Bug egg pile in that movie about us."

Shank: "The attention to detail says it all. No wonder V is so…. Nervous…."

Ralph: "Looks like Sugar World has something I never knew about."

Felony: "Holy scrap. This is…. Oh god… This is so damn creepy…."

Little Debbie: "Little V, what the hell are you trying to show us?"

Pyro: "This is like Metropolis Slaughterville Metro but worse."

Butcher Boy: "Um, Pyro, you know this ain't Metropolis Slaughterville, right?"

And they arrived at the lowest level, which has another Spirit-Esque gate.

Vanellope: "Well, here we are."

Shank: "Where are we exactly, V?"

Vanellope: "The place no other Sugar Rush has, and DEFINITELY only I have the knowledge of."

Ralph: "Kid, if you really want to show us, you gotta be brave to show it, okay. We got your back, always."

Rancis: "Yeah, what he says."

Vanellope smiles at her father's reassurance, and she opens the gate, and the group enters a room, a REALLY HUGE room. This room is a dark room only found in what Vanellope dubs "the Deepest and Darkest Depths of Hell", decorated with Dark Chocolate stalagmites, lit with Red hots and Nougat light stones in the color of fire, with a Moat of Soda Lava, and on the center is an isolated island with a GINORMOUS Monstrous object.

It was a DARK Purple vehicle with 12 Axles and 48 wheels, the size of an OVERSIZED Mammoth, with a hooded tractor cab that has a head of a bulldog with a Mustache; its front bumper is a Snowplow that can wreck anything in its direction leaving damages worse than that of Ralph's; the three big compartments used to have dangerous weapons inside, specifically, weapons that can even KILL those inside their native games (Thankfully this is no longer the case because the weapons have already been destroyed and that inside the compartments are basically empty). It was a vehicle SO infamous that it haunts Vanellope, and nobody knew why she would preserve this monstrous beast if she is afraid of it. It wasn't the vehicle specifically; she still thinks it's an AWESOME boss fight weapon. What haunts her was the person who drove it. Yes, this is the infamous truck that nearly ruined the roster race 5 years ago, "THE IRON STEEL" itself.

Shank: "What the FIRE…."

Taffyta and Candlehead: "Oh dear sugar…."

Felix: "The…. The…. (In a scared tone and shrieks loudly) THE IRON STEEL?!"

Tamora: "Doomsday and Armageddon's Baby….. It is (In a deep tone) UGLY AS HELL….."

Shank: "V, what the hell did you just showed me?"

Jubileena: "Ms. Shank… What Vanny showed you…. Was a monster that haunts her life ever since that thing came; we all saw it for the first time 5 years ago."

Shank: "What do you mean?"

Adorabeezle: "Well, when Sugar Rush was plugged in way back in 1997, before we get to even be played, we were on our practice runs for the first ever Random Roster race, that is, until he came and ruined everything."

Shank: "Is this when that King Turbo-Kandy guy hijacked your game?"

Tamora: "Wait, WHAT, how did he manage to get in Sugar Rush all those years ago?!"

Felix: "I mean we all knew he was hiding in Sugar Rush, so how exactly did he ruin the game in the first place?"

Gloyd: "Well, we'll tell you how he got here."

And this, is the story the Sugar Rush racers told Ralph, Felix, Tamora, and Shank.

-Start of Flashback-

In 1997, two Sugar Rush Speedway Cabinets are transported to Litwak's in the night, as a surprise to the guests. When the game was plugged in, Game Central Station was quiet, except for one notorious racer: Turbo. He was one a Star of the arcade because of TurboTime's popularity, and when he became infamous for his action in RoadBlasters, he hides in the deep depths of Game Central Station, waiting for another shot to strike. When he heard about Sugar Rush, he made his move. Back then, Sugar Rush's trains were different.

The train that used to link Sugar Rush to Game Central Station was hauled by a steam locomotive, an American syled 4-6-0 Tender locomotive pulling 5 passenger cars, a dining car, and a caboose/brake van. When the train arrived, Turbo sneaks away into the castle. Lucky for him, no one is guarding the castle. When he got inside, he looked over the place, and found a Code Room vault, the SAME Code Room he tainted. Using the forbidden Konami code, Turbo sneaked inside the room, where he starts to do his dirty trick.

Turbo: "Oh, Code, Sweet Lifeblood of a Video Game…. Now it's time for this game to have a new ruler."

Turbo then creates his code block, and planted his new identity, rendering Turbo no more, and was now known as King Candy, and after he finishes coding himself, he looks over to Vanellope's code block, because he knew that Vanellope was the princess looking by the royal throne in Royal Raceway and her face as a flower bed. He decided to do something sinister.

King Candy: "Ohj, if only I was allowed to delete her code and erase her, but maybe, see her being tortured is MUCH more sadistic, and what better way to do so, by making her an OUTCAST? Well well well, only a vulgar GLITCH can be an outcast…. Mwahahahahahahhahahahahh! That one is FAR more preferable. (Heads over to Vanellope's code block, and then DESTROYS the wires) YOUR TIME HAS COME, VANELLOPE, YOU SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE GLITCH!"

With Vanellope's code block busted, King Candy then proceeds to lock the Memory code blocks, LITERALLY. And his consequences came to fruition. When the racers were on their practice run, Vanellope starts to feel strange, and then, it happened, she started to glitch, and was hurt!

Vanellope: "Aaagh…. Wh-(Glitches)-what's ha-(glitches)-appe-(glitches)-enning?! (Glitches and then the Royal Racer kart starts to spin out uncontrollably) AAAAAAAGH!"

Taffyta, Candlehead, and Rancis: "VANELLOPE!"

But Vanellope cannot respond, her kart spun out so bad that the racers lost focus and tried to save Vanellope, but it was no use….

Vanellope: "Oooooh NOOOOOO-(Glitches)-OOOOOOOO-(Glitches again)-OOOOOOO!"

A HUGE Pile-Up happened, and all the racers fell out of consciousness. The next thing they know was that they are back in the Royal Raceway Altar, and then, he showed up. The racers were confused, who was this person, why is he King, As far as they know, there IS no King in this game. They swore that Vanellope was the ruler, but they forgot about her, and she was nowhere to be seen.

King Candy: "The fee to compete is One gold coin we all Spawned with. I'll go first!"

Taffyta: "What the? One gold coin? (I swear, it was free of charge.)"

Then, Vanellope came by.

Vanellope: "Um, hello?"

Taffyta: "Oh, hello, who are you?"

Vanellope: "I'm… I'm Vanellope."

Taffyta: "Vanellope? (What a nice name…. Sounds familiar though.) I'm Taffyta."

Rancis: "Oh, hi, my name is Rancis (A bit smitten, clearly has something for Vanellope.)"

Candlehead: "Hi, I'm Candlehead, you know, the hat on top has a candle?"

King Candy: "HOLD ON! What the Sugarplum is SHE DOING HERE?!"

Taffyta: "Um, Your Majesty, why are you so angry?"

Adorabeezle: "You look like you ate some Red Hots!"

King Candy: "SHE'S A VULGAR GLITCH!"

Jubileena: "What?"

King Candy: "Are you little brats DEAF?! SHE'S A GLITCH!"

Taffyta: "A glitch? Uh… okay….. SO?"

King Candy: "SO SHE'S NOT ALLOWED TO RACE! She is a MISTAKE in the PROGRAM, an ACCIDENT waiting to HAPPEN! SHE'S THE LAMEST LOSER I'VE EVER SEEN!"

Starts to throw a big gumball at Vanellope, which hurts her and causes her to glitch RIGHT IN FRONT of everyone!

Vanellope: "(Gets hit with the gumball) AAAAGH!"

Taffyta: "HEY! That's not nice!"

King Candy: "Ohohohoh! Why concerned?! You don't want this pathetic JUNKPILE to ruin this game by selfishly racing, which will cause an UNPLUGGING, Would you?! (In the most sarcastic way possible)"

Candlehead: "SERIOUSLY?!"

King Candy: "Go ahead, Citizens of Sugar Rush, BULLY HER, HARRASS THAT GLITCH, TORMENT HER, AND MAKE HER WISH SHE WAS NEVER MADE!"

The Candy NPCs start to throw hostile objects to Vanellope, who was glitching while she was hit. The racers offered to help, however….

Taffyta: "Hey STOP IT you meanies!"

Rancis: "Vanellope, LET US HELP YOU!"

Both Taffyta and Rancis try to grab Vanellope while the racers scattered to calm the crowd down. Vanellope starts to glitch when both Taffyta and Rancis tried to help her get up, and then, Vanellope made a BIG change. She SLAPPED Taffyta across the FACE!

Taffyta: "Aaagh! Vanellope, what was that for?!"

Rancis: "Vanellope, we're trying to…."

Vanellope: "(Starts to cry) No…. I'm a MONSTER! STAY AWAY FROM ME! (Runs away cying) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Candlehead: "VANELLOPE, WAIT!"

King Candy: "Hahahahaha, Forget that loser. Let's start the race Anyway!"

The racers were confused, and disgusted. They have no idea what to do or where did this guy came from, so they have no choice but to oblige. After the race, King Candy makes an announcement.

King Candy: "Thank you for coming today. With my talent and the Racers' participation, We will make Sugar Rush a Popular game among players alike! We will be UNDEFEATBALE, We will become a SUCCESS, WE WILL BE UNTOUCHABLE!"

Everyone cheered, and even the racers, although they were still confused.

King Candy: "Now, I'd like to make a new rule for Sugar Rush. It is dangerous to allow vulgar glitches like that glitch girl we saw earlier. The existence of a Glitch in a race is very dangerous. Anyone who tries to help her will be SENT to the Fungeon (Smugly). A Terrible fate indeed, and Game Jumping in Open-Hours is strictly forbidden. And you may ask, why would I be against that girl racing? Simple, to protect her of course. If she appears on the roster and players choose her, they will see her curse, and will think our game is broken (Slyly) And once the game is to be unplugged, rendering us homeless, since che cannot leave BECAUSE she's a glitch, (Starts to have a dark menacing voice) She will basically (Now REALLY Dark Voice) COMMIT SUICIDE… Mwahahahahahahahhahaha…"

The racers were left in distraught… King Candy gave them and the Candy NPCs a reason to not let Vanellope race, but they couldn't do anything. Vanellope ran away as fast as she could, but since she was a glitch at that time, she couldn't leave.

Vanellope: "HELLO?! IS ANYONE THERE?! PLEASE, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY! HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME! I WANT TO GET OUT! Oh… it's no use…. I can't leave the game….. (If I can't be a racer….. then I'll have to choose my own calling. Oh… I wish I could be a racer….)"

Vanellope walked sadly back to the game, and she saw the train that was once a mighty transportation device to take its people to and from Game Central Station, now reduced to a nasty garbage heap in the Junkyard. She walked far enough to find what was at that time an unfinished Bonus track, Diet Cola Mountain.

For 15 years, Vanellope lived in hiding, and over the duration of that, she starts to perfect Diet Cola Mountain, all by herself. One year after the game was plugged in, Vanellope had built a makeshift kart of her own, the Likkity Split. And it was in 2011, when Taffyta and Rancis came to see Vanellope in the Candy Cane forest.

Vanellope: "Taffyta? Rancis? What are you doing here, please, stay away from me."

Taffyta: "Look, Vanellope, what happened 14 years ago, forget it. Look, we just wanted to check on you."

Rancis: "Yeah, glitch or not, you deserve a good treatment."

Vanellope: "But… why were you so nice to me, especially YOU, Taffyta, I slapped you across the face."

Taffyta: "Look, that one was an accident. I know you didn't mean it. Besides, there is one thing that King Candy doesn't know about us racers. We have memories in our hearts."

Vanellope: "But…. Please, don't tell King Candy."

Rancis: "We won't. I think you're a nice person."

Vanellope: "Thanks, but you really have to run now, I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

Taffyta: "Don't worry, Vanny, we'll keep safe, and we will check on you."

Vanellope: "Huh, Vanny? That's…. that's a cute nickname…."

Taffyta: "Stay sweet… (Softly) Vanny."

Taffyta and Rancis then left Vanellope as ordered, and the two secretly told the other racers, and they all agreed to keep Vanellope's friendship with them a secret, shrouded from King Candy. Over the course of 15 years, and about 5745+ random roster races that follow, King Candy would NOT make it to the roster 665 times. And whenever King Candy didn't make it to the roster or win in Open-Hours, he throws a temper tantrum. And in the year of 2012, it was at Felix and Tamora's second visit to Sugar Rush, where everything went horribly wrong for King Candy. Not only that race ended up with him finishing dead last, NOT only the Royal Racer kart was destroyed, it was the INFAMOUS day when King Candy DID NOT make it to the roster, the 666th time. That was his final straw.

Snowanna: "And that's how this… THING…. Was made."

Swizzle: "King Candy couldn't handle the 666th loss."

Minty Zaki: "He finished DEAD LAST in that 666th loss."

Sticky: "King Candy was Broken Karted"

Torvald: "And he became insane."

Nougetsia: "That he basically lost his sanity."

Citrusella: "And lost all trace of Humanity and Morality."

Shank's crew and Minty Sakura GASPED. Shank because now she heard the full story of her adoptive daughter's painful survival of all that and Minty Sakura because she was born in 2017, the same day Litwak's Sugar Rush Super Speedway was plugged in.

Shank: "What the hell?! V had to survive all that?!

Little Debbie: "That was insane!"

Pyro: "Think about that for a moment! Having to live with no one on your side for more than 10 years?!"

Minty Sakura: "Matte, nani? Sore de, ano King Candy no otoko wa Vanellope o tsuihō-sha ni shita nodesu ka?! Watashi wa kesshite iwa remasendeshita! (Wait, what? So, That King Candy guy made Vanellope an Outcast?! I was never TOLD!)"

Minty Zaki: "Sakura, I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you that…"

Minty Sakura: "Daijōbu, Zetto. Kesshite osoku naru yori wa mashida. (It's alright my dear cousin, better late than never.)"

Felony: "But, I don't get it. Like, why the hell did V have the balls to preserve it?"

Butcher Boy: "Yeah, V, why don't you scrap this thing if it haunts you?"

Vanellope: "I won't scrap it. Why do I preserve this beast? To remind me what I, and my fellow Sugar Rush friends have accomplished in that…. Uh… Ralph…"

Ralph: "The Vanellope Revelation race. That's what I call it."

Gloyd: "You came up with the name, Mr. Wreck-It Ralph."

Crumbelina: "Practically everyone knows that now."

Jubileena: "It was the day this monster wrecked havoc."

Adorabeezle: "And attempted to ruin Sugar Rush."

Tamora: "A beast so dangerous it can destroy Cy-Bugs faster than that Blue Hedgehog."

Felix: "This thing really creeped me out. Let's just get outta here."

Vanellope: "Okay…."

Taffyta: "Come on, let's just go to bed. Friday's always a big day."

Candlehead: "Yeah, and players are gonna flock up the place like a bunch of birds!"

Rancis: "Come on, my love, Vanellope…. Let's go."

The group exits the room, but only Ralph and Vanellope were left. He managed to take a closer look of the truck, touching its wheels, yet it stood still. Vanellope walked beside her father, and sighed.

Vanellope: "Even though I'm no longer a Glitch, and that no good King Candy is gone forever, this beast still haunts me of the past life I had to suffer."

Ralph: "And I thought my kart was over-sized."

Vanellope: "Don't worry about that, Ralphie; your kart is just right."

Ralph: "I just wanted to say… Thanks for allowing Felix to race. I can't describe how happy he was when he first saw your friends; he's like begging to be coded into the game."

Vanellope: "(Hugs Ralph as the good bad guy carries her out of the room) You're welcome… Dad."

Vanellope looked at "THE IRON STEEL" Truck another glance, but wasn't fearful, because she got Ralph on her back, the father and daughter duo left the room and joined the group back to Sugar Town, locking the gate, and leaving the ginormous monster truck alone, standing proud and silent.
