Chapter 10: The Silly New Student
Bugs Bunny sat in the teacher's desk, facing the students of Acme Looniversity. "Good morning, class. Today, we're going to have a new student joining Acme Looniversity. And I'm sure you'll all be able to get along with her just fine," said Bugs. All the students began to gossip among themselves, wondering who it could be. Bugs opened the door. "Say hello to . . . ," said Bugs. But then, he saw nobody was at the door. "Huh? Her parents said she was supposed to come today. I guess she's a no show. Ah well, onto class," said Bugs. He went back to his desk and started to open the desk, when suddenly . . .
"SURPRISE!" called somebody who popped out of the desk unexpectedly. Bugs shrieked like a girl and fell out of his chair. It was a girl with light ceriseish gray skin, brilliant rose hair that had a cotton candy-like appearance and pale, light grayish cerulean eyes. She wore a pink skirt with blue and yellow balloons, a purple sash, a white shirt with a sweetheart neckline and heart pattern, a blue jacket and blue boots with pink bows and white laces. The pink girl giggled and some of the students were laughing their heads off.
"Who are you? And what were you doing in my desk?" asked Bugs.
"I'm Pinkie Pie, the new student and I wanted to make a surprising entrance," said the girl. She giggled again.
"Well, could you care to tell us about yourself?" asked Bugs. Pinkie Pie turned to the students attending the class.
"Hi everybody. As you heard, I'm Pinkie Pie. And I just love to bring smiles to people and make them laugh. I'm very good at baking cakes and other baked goods. And I just love to throw funna-fun-fun parties!" said Pinkie.
"So where are you from?" asked Buster.
"I'm from Canterlot. When I heard about your school, I knew that was the perfect school for me! You guys love to make people laugh in your cartoons, so I want to learn to be just as funny as you!" said Pinkie. She then smiled a big toothy smile. It was at that moment that Fifi La Fume remembered that Pinkie Pie was one of Fluttershy's childhood friends.
"Wait a minute. Eef you're name ees Pinkie Pie, zen . . . Le gasp! You know Fluttershy ahnd Rainbow Dash!" said Fifi. The next thing Fifi knew, Pinkie zipped up to Fifi and grabbed her.
"YOU KNOW FLUTTERSHY AND RAINBOW DASH?!" asked Pinkie excitedly. She began to shake the skunkette as she asked questions. "How are they doing?! Are they still friends?! Do they miss me?! Do they?! Do they?!" asked Pinkie.
"Cut eet out!" cried Fifi. She let off her stink, which just enough to stink Pinkie and not everybody else. Pinkie's eyes widened when she sniffed Fifi's smell.
"Eeeew!" cried Pinkie, letting go of Fifi and holding her nose.
"Alright, alright, can we get on with class?" asked Bugs.
"Okay," said Pinkie. She smiled innocently and sat down.
Pinkie Pie excelled at her classes, much to everybody's surprise. Her silliness was what allowed her to do so. She was especially good at the classes that taught toons how to pop up in random places. And whenever Pinkie got an anvil dropped on her, she just carried on the same way. At lunch time, Fifi and Furrball sat down with Mary Melody. Just then, Pinkie zipped up to their table.
"Hello. May I sit at your table?" asked Pinkie.
"Sure," said Mary.
"So how do you know Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash?" asked Pinkie.
"I happen to be Fluttershy's pet skunk. Ma name ees Fifi La Fume, ze lovely protégé of Pepé Le Pew," said Fifi.
"I'm Furrball the Cat. I'm also another pet of Fluttershy. My mentor is Sylvester the Cat," said Furrball.
"You can call me Mary Melody," said Mary.
"The other students at the other tables include Buster and Babs Bunny, no relation. There's also Plucky Duck, Shirley the Loon, Hamton Pig, Little Beeper, Calamity Coyote, Gogo Dodo, Bookworm and Concord Condor. I'd be careful around Montana Max and Sweetie Bird over there. They're big bullies," said Furrball.
"So, how did you become Fluttershy's pets?" asked Pinkie.
"I first met hair when she saved moi from a student who used to come here before she was, how you say, expelled," said Fifi.
"Who?" asked Pinkie.
"Elmyra Duff, a pet obsessive girl. Although she loves animals, her three year old mentality makes hair unaware zat she's abusing zem. Some died because of hair carelessness," said Fifi. Pinkie Pie gasped in horror.
"That's terrible!" cried Pinkie.
"I know. When Fluttershy caught hair abusing moi, she charged to rescue and liberated moi. Aftair zat, zere was a lawsuit due to ze lengths Elmyra took to try to cahpture moi. Een ze end, Elmyra was found guilty ahnd punished," said Fifi.
"She lost custody of her current pets, including me. I prefer living with Fluttershy better than Elmyra," said Furrball.
"That's good to know," said Pinkie.
"As for how we met Rainbow Dash, you see, most of the residents of the town don't approve of Fluttershy adopting me, especially Sweetie. When they tried to bully Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash totally chewed them out. She even hit them with a soccer ball and warned them that they'll end up in prison like the infamous JimBob if they keep up their cat hating attitude," said Furrball.
"Those meanies! Why do they hate cats?" asked Pinkie.
"Cause in a lot of the cartoons, cats are portrayed as villains, always trying to eat birds, mice and fish. In other words, they view us as meat eating monsters," said Furrball.
"Just because you're villains in cartoons, doesn't mean you're villains in real life," said Pinkie.
"I know. Most of the students have been manipulated by Sweetie Bird into treating Furrball like garbage," said Furrball sadly.
"Cheer up, Furrball. If you're ever feeling sad, I'll be there to make you laugh," said Pinkie.
After school, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash arrived to pick up Fifi and Furrball. As the two toons approached Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie zipped up to the two. The next thing the two girls knew, they were being hugged by Pinkie Pie. "Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, it's so good to see you again after all this time!" cried Pinkie.
"Pinkie Pie?!" asked Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash.
"The one and only," said Pinkie.
"What are you doing here?" asked Fluttershy.
"I'm a new student at Acme Looniversity," said Pinkie.
"You always did like to make people laugh. And you always pulled off those crazy feats," said Rainbow Dash.
"And I met your pets, Fifi and Furrball and we're already friends," said Pinkie.
"That's good to know," said Fluttershy.
"I'm so happy to see you two again that there's only one proper way to celebrate this . . . A PARTY!" cried Pinkie.
And sure enough, Pinkie Pie threw a party at her house. Besides Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Fifi La Fume and Furrball, Mary Melody, Gogo Dodo and those who are friendly to Fluttershy and Furrball were present too. The food being served included cake, cupcakes, pretzels, chips, candy, soda and more.
"Wow. You sure know how to throw a party," said Mary.
"I told you I love to throw parties," said Pinkie. She plucked one of the balloons on her skirt and blew it into a real balloon. Fifi and the others laughed.
"Fluttershy was telleeng ze truth about you pulleeng funny stuff like zat," said Fifi.
"And these baked goods you made are so delicious," said Furrball, munching on a cupcake.
"You sound like somebody I could hang around with," said Gogo.
"If any of you guys want to have a fancy party, just turn to me," said Pinkie.
I hoped you loved reading this chapter. Starting in this chapter as you read, Pinkie Pie will be attending Acme Looniversity. So things are going to be even loonier with her around. I thought this would be a good way to explain how the EG version of Pinkie is able to do all that stuff that defies physics. Next chapter, Pinkie wants to hang out with Rainbow Dash, by going on a pranking spree.
