Hello. Sorry if I hadn't updated any of my stories on this site until now. Things have been crazy with work during the Christmas shopping season and also because I reach the saved document number limit. But I'm gonna start making room for newer documents. But anyway, enjoy this newest chapter.
Chapter 13: Extremists and a New Friend
Next day, Fluttershy was taking a walk with Furrball and Fifi. Rainbow Dash was accompanying them too. "So, how did your date with Hamton go last night?" asked Fluttershy.
"Eet was a romantic one. We had dinner at a nice restaurant. I'm surprised Hamton actually managed to afford going zere," said Fifi. said Fifi.
"How wonderful," said Fluttershy. Just then, a toon dog wearing clothes approached Fluttershy. "Can I help you?" asked Fluttershy. Suddenly, the dog took out a knife. Fluttershy gasped right before the dog plunged the knife in Fluttershy's hand. The pink-haired girl screamed in pain. Before the dog could do another attack, Rainbow Dash grabbed the dog by the hand and forced him onto the ground. Some cops came to arrest the dog. The dog began to hurl hurtful words toward Fluttershy.
"Traitor! You're a disgrace! Cat sympathizer! You traitor! Kill that girl! Kill her before it's too late! Kill the traitor! Our looney traditions will be destroyed! They're going to be outlawed! You have to believe me! Kill the traitor! Kill her!" cried the dog as he thrown into a patty wagon and taken away.
"Fluttershy, you're bleeding!" cried Furrball.
"We got to get you to hospital now!" said Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy was rushed to the Acme Acres hospital. The doctors had her hand stitched up and bandaged. Mrs. Shy came to the hospital as soon as she got called by the doctors. "Fluttershy!" cried Mrs. Shy.
"Mother," said Fluttershy. Mrs. Shy went up to her daughter and hugged her.
"I came as soon as doctors called me. What happened?" asked Mrs. Shy.
"Some crazed dog attacked me with a knife. As the cops were arresting him, he claimed I'm a traitor just because I was showing kindness to a cat, which was Furrball. He said that I had to be killed or looney traditions will be destroyed," said Fluttershy. She began to cry due to the dog's hurtful words.
"Don't listen to her. What that mongrel says is nothing but a bunch of bullshit. If anything, this proves that people are trying to enforce cat segregation," said Rainbow Dash.
"Well ziss has got to stop," said Fifi.
Just then, somebody came to the room where Fluttershy was at. It was a female cat with black and white fur. "Excuse moi, meess?" asked the cat.
"Yes?" asked Fluttershy.
"I couldn't help boot ovairhear about how you were attacked just because you were a cat lover," said the cat.
"I was," said Fluttershy.
"Well . . . I hate how our species are treated badly just because of how zey're portrayed een ze cartoons. And I want eet to stop. A couple of cats, cat lovers and I are planneeng to do a protest, objecteeng to ze bad treatment toward cats. Perhaps you'd like to help out too?" asked the cat.
"Sure. Okay," said Fluttershy.
"Excellent. Ze more ze merrier. By ze way, my name ees Penelope. Penelope Pussycat," said the cat.
"Nice to meet you, Penelope," said Fluttershy.
"I'll let you know when we're ready. Au revoir," said Penelope. And she left.
A few days later, Fluttershy joined the cat lovers along with several toon cats in their protest, objecting to the unfair treatment that cats were getting. The toon cats that were present besides Penelope and Furrball included Sylvester, Claude, Pussyfoot and more. They were marching in the streets of Acme Acres, holding signs that said phrases like "Cats are people too!", or "Don't believe what you see in cartoons!" The protest was on the news. "I'm here live, in downtown Acme Acres where several people are protesting about how cats are treated unfairly in society. Several people think that all cats are nothing but bird, mice and fish eating monsters due to how they're portrayed in old cartoons. Among one of the protestors is Fluttershy, the girl who saved several animals from the clutches of Elmyra Duff weeks ago," said a female news reporter. The female reporter turned to Fluttershy. Fifi and Furrball were by her side. "Fluttershy, you didn't partake in these protests until now. Care to explain what motivated you to join?" asked the reporter.
"Well, when I first heard about how cats are treated here in Acme Acres, it made me feel sad. And after I was attacked by a dog just because I like cats, Penelope Pussycat invited me to join this protest. It would make me happy if people just treated cats with kindness and love instead of hostility and hate. They have feelings too," said Fluttershy. Unbeknownst to everybody, somebody was watching the news broadcast in a dark room full of TV monitors, and he was not happy about Fluttershy's words. "It's like what one of the signs that the protestors are carrying. You shouldn't believe what you see in cartoons. Cause a lot of times, what you see in cartoons isn't true like real life. So, cats aren't monsters like how the cartoons portray them," said Fluttershy. The shadowy figure threw a dagger at one of the TV monitors, cracking it and short circuiting it. "So everybody watching, please give the cats some slack and show kindness to them," said Fluttershy. The shadowy figure turned to some other people in the shadows.
"Find her. Silence her," said the Shadow Figure. Sweetie Bird was watching the protest on TV too. And she wasn't happy either. With her was the mouse from the horrible cartoon, "Canned Feud".
"It's bad enough dat Fluttershy chose to adopt Furball over me! But now she's helping some putty tat sympathizers fight for equal rights for putty tats?! What is this world coming to?!" asked Sweetie.
"It's no big deal, right?" asked the Mouse.
"No big deal? NO BIG DEAL?! If cats get equal rights, then that means they'll allow putty tats to win a lot more often in cartoons! It'll not just affect me, it'll affect you too!" snapped Sweetie. The mouse's smile turned upside down, realizing she was right.
"And if that happens, they'll allow Sylvester to get revenge on me for the Hell I put him through in 'Canned Feud'," said the Mouse.
"Dat's exactly my point!" yelled Sweetie.
After the protest, Fluttershy, Fifi and Furrball went down to the subway station to catch a train that'll take her back to the part of Acme Acres where they lived. "Is this the first protest you've ever participated in ever?" asked Furrball.
"No. I've joined other animal rights protests back at home. Some of them involved protected endangered animals," said Fluttershy.
"I see," said Fifi. They turned around and saw a group of humans & toon dogs, mice and birds. They were no doubt cat haters.
"Oh!" cried Fluttershy.
"We've been looking for you Fluttershy," said the human leader of the group.
"Can I help you?" asked Fluttershy.
"Your participation in that recent protest about giving cats equal rights has gotten several of us upset. So I deliver a message," said Cat Hater Gang Leader. He held out his hand in front of Fluttershy. Suddenly, he slapped her.
"Stay out of stuff that doesn't concern you," said the Cat Hater Gang Leader.
"I'm afraid I can't. When there are animals in trouble, I want to help them," said Fluttershy.
"Then I guess we have no choice but to remove you from the picture . . . permanently," said the Cat Hater Gang Leader. Fluttershy, Fifi and Furrball's eyes widened when they realized they were going to kill Fluttershy. Fifi and Furrball stood in defensive positions, ready to try to defend Fluttershy. But suddenly, some of the more muscular dogs and humans grabbed the two, causing them to yelp.
"Fifi, Furrball!" cried Fluttershy. Fluttershy ran to try to help her two pets. A mouse tried to attack Fluttershy with a mallet, but she dodged it. "I don't want to hurt anybody, but you leave me no choice!" cried Fluttershy. A bird tried to peck Fluttershy, but she swatted the bird aside. But without warning, one of the muscular dogs karate chopped Fluttershy, knocking her out.
"Fluttershy!" cried Fifi & Furrball. The two struggled to try to break free of their captors' grips. Fifi wanted to unleash her stink, but the cat hater restraining her was grabbing her tail, preventing her from unleashing her stink.
"Time to silence this traitor to society," said the Cat Hater Gang Leader.
But before they could kill Fluttershy, the cat hater gang heard a battle cry before POW! Somebody kicked two of the cat haters aside. It was an adult human with black hair & eyes and had scarring on his face. He wore a white martial arts shirt with gray trousers. Accompanying him were a blue and cream colored cat and a Rock-type Pokémon that resembled a wolf. This was Lycanroc, a Pokémon that had three forms; Midday, Dusk and Midnight form. The man's Lycanroc was a Midday Form one. In its Midday form, Lycanroc resembled a quadrupedal, light brown wolf. It had a white underbelly that extended up around its muzzle and eyes in a mask-like marking. It had pointed ears with dark brown tips and pink insides, big blue eyes, and a triangular, dark brown nose. There were four sharp fangs in its mouth: two in the upper jaw and two in the lower. Large tufts of brown fur extended from the sides of its head; three tufts on each side. A bushy, white mane covered its neck. Four dark brown rocks poked out of its mane, creating a shape similar to a stylized sun. The rocks were said to be razor-sharp. The lower portions of this form's legs were white, and each foot had three dark brown claws. It also had a long, fluffy white tail."Stay out of this, fool! This doesn't concern you or your pets!" said the Cat Hater Gang Leader.
"You think I'm going to stand by idly and let you kill a girl just because she likes cats? Wrong! If you don't leave her alone, I'll have no choice to fight you to defend her!" said the man.
"Just who do you think you are?!" asked a mouse. The man grinned.
"The name's Yamcha!" said the man.
"And I'm his companion Puar alongside his Lycanroc!" said Puar.
"Then we're going to make an example of you three first and show everybody that anybody who sides with cats must be killed!" said Cat Hater Gang Leader.
"I already died once and came back. I intend to leave this fight alive," said Yamcha. The Cat Hater Gang Leader charged and tried to punch Yamcha, but his punch was blocked. Yamcha then struck back by punching the Gang Leader in the gut. He followed this up with an uppercut that sent him crashing into several other gang members. Lycanroc executed its Rock Throw attack, hurl rocks that hit some of the humans and dogs in the heads. As for the birds and mice, they were squashed flat. Some of dogs and humans piled on top of Puar to try to beat them up. But suddenly, they were sent flying away from Puar just as quickly as they piled on him. For Puar used some shapeshifting ability to transform into a muscular, saber-toothed tiger version of himself. Puar began to beat up the gang members he was fight with his fist and feet. And he used his fangs to bite them in the butts too. Fifi and Furrball were shocked at how Yamcha and his two companions were actually winning against the cat haters. Very soon, the gang leader was the only one left to deal with. "So, are you gonna stay and fight or are you gonna run like a coward?" asked Yamcha. The Cat Hater Gang Leader let out an enraged scream.
"I won't be punked by the likes of you!" cried the Gang Leader. He charged at the three.
"Wrong answer," said Yamcha. Lycanroc was the first to react. It charged at the Gang Leader and head butted him, knocking him toward Yamcha. "Wolf Fang Fist!" cried Yamcha. He began to execute a combo of clawing and punching. His hand and finger movements may be intended to mimic the biting of a wolf. Yamcha then finished the assault with a double palm strike, sending him toward the transformed Puar. Puar then grabbed the gang leader. A subway train was coming on the side of the platform they were all at. Puar then began to scrape the gang leader's face against the passing by train, causing him to yelp in pain. Another train was coming in the opposite direction. Puar then threw the gang leader in the train's direction. BAM! The train hit the cat hater gang leader, killing him.
"Fatality," said Puar.
Just then, a couple of police officers called by some witnesses arrived to the subway. Leading them was Donna Doberman, the police chief. She was well endowed, both above and below. "We came as soon as we were called. Where are the cat haters?" asked Donna.
"Over there," said Yamcha, showing the defeated cat haters unconscious.
"The leader was killed during the struggle," said Yamcha.
"That guy was sentenced for the chair to begin with. You just saved us electricity and time," said Donna. Yamcha picked up Fluttershy.
"I better take this girl to the hospital," said Yamcha. And he began to hurry to the hospital, with Fifi, Furrball, Puar and Lycanroc following behind. The police then began to arrest the cat hater gang members.
This chapter not just introduces Penelope Pussycat into the story, but also a mysterious villain who's determined to make sure cats don't get treated fairly. Not only that, Yamcha from Dragon Ball has appeared. Before you go criticizing me about using a less popular Dragon Ball character, my brother and I have our reasons. One reason is because like some fans, my brother and I hated how some of the original supporting heroes were curbed to the sidelines in Z in favor of some of the newer characters. Also, since this is a fanfiction, I'm going to correct major injustices that were done to him. I won't say what, but you'll have to read as more details surface in the story. Next chapter will explain why he's in Acme Acres right now. Also, see if you find the Godzilla: Final Wars allusion, quote wise.
