I don't usually watch the news, but for some reason today I did. Maybe it was because I had overheard Sally talking at lunch about her interview with the hot news anchor about her mom's charity auction.

They caught them. Well, they caught one of the guys who attacked me. He had gone to the hospital, and when he was questioned, they figured out he was attacked after attacking a girl. Apparently, I wasn't the first girl they had attacked. I was their fifth victim. The fourth victim went to the police last night. He had drugged and raped her sometime over the Christmas holiday, and she finally decided to say something. I guess the police connected the dots somehow, or maybe the girl had given them a description of the guy.

The other guy died from his injuries.

The news channel displayed a screenshot from a security video. There must have been a camera behind the club. It was grainy and dark, but it showed a shadow of a man carrying a girl. It looked like he had a huge duffel bag or something on his back. All you could see of the girl was her legs - her face was covered by the guy's body.

I frowned when I saw that I was barefoot in the picture. When I woke up that morning, my shoes were on the porch. Maybe I was holding them as he carried me.

I thought about texting Kelly about it all, but again, I didn't. I don't know why.
