Coming to some hole in the ground they jump down I look around spotting a few placeswhere stone peaks out.
"I think this is a forgotten city" I mumble jumping down following the group as they walkand fuss over Gianna.
Looking around I see it's more of a cave with drawings on it coming to a stop I look at thewomen seeing fur sat on the ground, they all sit on one pulling Gianna down on their laps
while one starts messing with Gianna hair braiding it.
"Zafrina" the tallest says pressing a hand to her chest "Kachiri" she say press her hand to theone on her left side "Senna" she says repeating the actions on the one on her right side whobraids Gianna's hair.
Nodding I introduce everyone "What is this place?" I ask motioning around the cave.
"Home"
"You've always lived here?" I ask.
I frown looking around seeing I'm outside I watch as Zafrina walks with Kachiri and Sennaas humans holding hand woven baskets gathering berries speaking in a language I don't
know, Kachiri and Senna wave heading back to the cave I guess but Zafrina stays behindlooking out into the trees before she's yanked up by a vampire running past he feeds from herand drops her body before running off.
Seeing a shift before Zafrina jumps up with red eyes looking around then takes off coming toan area, I see people wondering around with caves around them she moves to go after thembut freezes seeing Kachiri and Senna crying turning then runs the other way.
Seeing a shift again she comes back to the village catching Kachiri alone talking to her beforeshe picks her up and runs away then bites her.
Another shift and I'm watching them back at the village leading Senna away before bitingher.
I frown seeing it shift again and see all three of them return to the village in ruins likeeveryone either died or left, they move threw gathering anything left behind before setting upin a cave.
Shaking my head I look at them "Got it, you all lived here as humans".
"First woman" she says nodding.
Time lapse four days
Standing on a tree with Zafrina she points out into the distance looking out I see how largethe area is "Zafrina do you know anything about the Volturi?"
"Little"
"I think someone is controlling them there is something wrong with them" I whisper "Couldyou show me what you know?"
She nods playing her memories of their rise to power and the few time they met, I seeAthenodora in their cave talking and laughing promising to come back to visit soon before leaving.
Coming out of it I look at Zafrina "I don't think they can leave the castle someone is forcingher to stay".
Zafrina frowns looking at me "she is friend".
I nod having gotten use to the strange speech patterns and more feral actions "If I find a waywould you help?"
She looks around the area unsurely before nodding "Group attack the Volturi" she saysfrowning.
"The Cullens" I answer.
She nods looking at me "help friends".
I smile nodding before she presses her hand to my chest "friend" she grunts.
Turning I press mine to hers "friend" I say nodding.
Hearing Jane call my name I smile at Zafrina before jumping down running to Jane seeingher eyes look clearer and more focused.
"Yes" I say smiling.
"We need to return to the Volturi"
"Why?"
"Something is off I don't know what but someone is using my masters" she growls.
"I know I told you this that's what the trip is about trying to find out everything we can andgather help to stop them" I say slowly.
Jane looks unsure "Jane I promise we will figure this out and help them but we can't go backyet, they effected you and Alec I still think it's Corin and Felix but could be someone else, Athenodora supports this she helped me gather the information I needed then forced us outshe's trusting us to help".
Jane nods "we need to plan to figure this out soon I do not like someone controlling me I'mnot a fucking Marionette".
I smile reaching out touching her face "Wow that sounded like my real mate not the puppetyou've been".
