Chapter 29 – Atlantis Gate room part 2
With the guilt of splitting Jon and Cassie up just when they were starting their new life on Atlantis and they both knew Jon was no longer dying, rippling through his mind again, Jack looked across at Lya in silent acknowledgement of her words but not ready to move on just yet. Remembering her earlier comments and needing to distract his emotions of guilt and what their next actions were going to be, he commented in what he'd hoped was his usual casual manner. "I know you can do a lot of things Lady Lya, but even you can not be in two places at once. Be here to explain the twig communicators to Cassie and Jon while taking us to Earth. Especially as Jon might be off to NightOwl's planet before the three earth days you mentioned to General Landry as our arrival time and you have to return here. And, none of us know when Jon and Cassie will be reunited." and stopped before he dug his 'hole of concern about the couple' any deeper as he'd just felt Sam's silent mental concerned sigh aimed at him. He immediately flashed his own mental reassuring message nudge 'I'm okay' back to her and knew it was silently accepted so as not to interrupt Lya's reply.
Smiling slightly as she felt the mental support between the couple, Lya flashed the gentle warning to them "Short communications only between the pair of you." while nodding her acknowledgment of Jack's point, understanding fully his need for distraction and keeping her voice serious but a light tone she confirmed what he had picked up. "You are correct Master Jack, I can do many things but not physically be in two places at once."
Jack smiled, remembering she'd been on her home planet but mentally with him on Atlantis at one point, and nodded slightly to let her finish her point and settle his mind.
Knowing she had Jack with her, Lya continued in the same tone. "As you well know Master Jack, time between and on planets can vary, so does the speed and time of a craft travelling through the seas of space. Masters Landry, Cameron and yourself needed a length of time to work with, so I announced 3 earth days from leaving Atlantis will be our arrival time at the Waterfall Site."
Feeling his emotions start to settle again and Sam's concern for him ease at the hand of another expert of defusing mental tension, Jack chuckled, nodded and let Lya carry on.
Bright eyed and with a returning nod, Lya added. "Rest assured Master Jack and Lady Samantha, Master Jon and Lady Cassie will be in close contact with each other while they are apart via the twig communicators. Elder Ohper will be with Master Jon and there will be time before they leave for him to explain everything about them to the couple. If there is not, though he is young Master Nafrayu, as you would say Master Jack, knows 'all the tricks of the trade' regarding the twig communicators, and will be here on Atlantis as our link person to the travelling city that will stay in orbit here. So, Elder Ohper will have frequent communication with Nafrayu and the voice of Atlantis now has a twig communicator within its system. All of them can give instant visual messages to all of us if required. You and Lady Samantha will also have twig communicators once we are travelling to Earth and I will instruct you both on their use."
Feeling reassured and knowing what Lya was going through Jack checked. "So you'll be able to keep in close contact with your life-mate as he finds the Destiny and if necessary guides them back to Earth?"
Smiling knowing they'd both been playing the same distraction game and it was working on everyone around them as well, Lya confirmed. "Yes, we will be able to keep in close contact with him and his family team, that also applies to our home planet and our other travelling Cities. Also once we find them we will use the superhighways of the sea of space and be able to transfer any space family to or from Destiny, and to or from Atlantis or Earth as necessary." Feeling a change round Jack, Lya finished gently. "I sense a strange fluctuation within the gifts and I do not wish to labour the point but you are tiring so will rest once we have left Atlantis."
Jack sighed, knowing he couldn't hold back the gift he'd been hiding in his hand any longer as it wanted to get out and get on with what it needed to do. Also he needed to let his space family go before they got too fidgety, and glancing over at Cam who'd slowly left the group and was walking towards him as if in anticipation Jack's needs. Jack gave a slight nod to indicate it was alright to come closer without getting a sharp word about breaking away from the group, and silently waited.
Getting within easy talking range Cam stopped, and with a nod said. "Sir. Generals Shepard and Carter have explained your morning briefing with General Landry, and the need for me to pass on Orders as well as carry out the ones for myself." then with a slight smile added. "Though I'm not too sure how you can pass them over to me without a reaction from the gifts, other than you dropping them on the floor and me picking them up, which I'm happy to do."
As everyone was visualizing the orders falling in a mess on the floor and hearing Jack's huffed. "Oh Crap!" Voice of Atlantis immediately announced. "Master Cameron you will not be harmed if you take your orders from Master Jack's hands. A light silver forcefield will cover Master Jack's hand so he can give you the orders, this will not harm the written orders, you or him."
"That's good to know." Jack huffed with a slight smile, if no one else could sense or hear it, he knew Voice of Atlantis was enjoying itself. Seeing John Shepherd's slight twitch of smile, flashed the mental comment across 'Good luck' to him. Getting a glance with physical slight nod back knew John could feel it as well. Having the stronger Ancient Gene and being in charge of the Jumpers obviously gave him an advantage over the others. So they would make a good pair in leading this Space Family into the future, add in Richard and Landry with their Earth connections things could work out very well.
Putting those thoughts away and holding his hands palms up with the written orders resting on them so Cam could take them easily, Jack could feel the gentle warm tickle of the silver forcefield rippling under them and seeing the flickering hint of silver shinning through the packages. Watching a very cautious looking Cam hesitate, Jack commented. "The voice of Atlantis has promised it will not bite."
Still wondering about it all, Cam couldn't help smiling at Jack's tone of confidence with a hint of wariness and couldn't blame him. Them actually, considering some of their past missions when things had gone down hill at the last moment. Taking a breath and relaxing slightly so he wouldn't trip over his own feet, Cam took another step forward before reaching out and using both hands so he wouldn't drop the packages and papers on the floor, gently took them off Jack's hands. Could feel the warm tickle of the forcefield as he did so and was very glad nothing bit him.
Stepping back and considering everything that was going on, Cam gathered together the loose pages and the packages into one hand, just in case he needed the other one free for anything. Couldn't help noticing the packages had either 'VERY TOP SECRET' or 'EYES ONLY' written on them above the recipients' names, even on the rather thick one for him. Also though the silver forcefield retreated as soon as he'd taken the pages and packages from Jack's hands, one hand was glowing differently to the other one, or rather the gifts within the man's skin were glowing differently. Glancing at Jack and just going to comment on this observation, Cam saw the man's slight shake of his head indicating 'silence was needed' and immediately knew there had to be more going on and as he needed to hear any verbal orders anyway, he stayed still, silent and waited.
Quickly closing his hand to hide the inner gentle glow and letting his arm rest down by his side, Jack silently hoped no one else would notice it, after all it was the one furthest away from Lya and the others as his body would shield it, and no one could read his mind as he was shielding it even though he could receive and send messages when needed. So without hesitating he raised his voice, letting the others know they were included in what he was going to say, and addressed Cam. "These packages must not leave your side when you are in transit either before or on delivery, and should be locked in a secure guarded safe at Star Gate Command should you need to leave them. Take the commander of our special security team with you when you have to leave the base. You have three days in which to deliver and carry out all your orders."
Seeing Cam's nod that he understood the seriousness of it all, Jack carried on. "Make sure you are alone with the required people when dealing their packages or passing on messages, even General Landry at SGC and the commander of the General George Hammond. You and your security guard need to keep a very low profile and watch your back while in DC. The reasons are in your orders. Use the twig communicator for all calls to SGC from either DC or Waterfall Site rather than your cell phone." Pausing Jack glanced across at Lya and checked. "He has one?"
Picking up Jack's concerns without fully understanding the details, Lya immediately answered. "He does, and Nafrayu will show him how to use it so no one else can detect it when it is used in vocal form only, as well as the use of the forcefield and the warning it can give them should someone try to interrupt them at any stage. Master Cameron can have extra ones if he believes they are needed for those who travel with him to DC or the Waterfall Site."
Satisfied with that and seeing Nafrayu giving a smiling nod in Lya's direction at that added responsibility, Jack glanced over at General Shepard and asked. "Have the new Midway team and security team for Jon's mission been sorted and alerted?"
Understanding the change of direction, John first glanced at Rodney and Ronon to get their attention, then back at Jack to answer. "They will do that now, and the old Midway team will be here before Cam goes back to Earth via the two Gates rather than the Midway Gates."
There was an immediate flash of lights in the Gate, and Voice of Atlantis spoke. "All information needed is waiting for retrieval at Master Mackay's office terminal with Master Radek Zelenka in attendance. 'Medical J' and 'Security J' who look after NightOwl and U Sang have been alerted and have indicated the following in the proper manner. They have made checklists for equipment, food and clothes. These have been sent to the relevant department and computers. The gathering place has been named and appropriate transportation to the craft for them and their needs will be made available when required."
Smiling at that, John turned to Rodney and Ronon who hadn't moved, and ordered. "Do it now." Not waiting for any come back from Rodney and feeling some emotional tension building up in the room, John gave a slight smile as he asked in a lighter tone. "Cam, do you wish to go with them or stay here so you can tell General Landry that Jack and Sam actually left with Lady Lya?"
That made everyone smile even Sam and Jack, while Cam immediately answered seriously. "I'll wait here if Generals O'Neill and Carter don't mind." knowing Jack and the others might want some privacy as the rest of the old SG1 were close for a long time. Seeing nods of agreement that they wanted him to stay, even Vala who was trying hard not to bounce up and down with excitement, he could feel that familiar supporting buzz he always got from this team and relaxed a bit and waited.
Knowing Rodney, who was starting to wave his arms around and not so quietly huff about the situation, Ronon gave John a nod and started to make for the exit archway knowing Rodney would follow him. Understanding she should leave with them Teyla, in her usual slightly clipped manner but with a friendly smile said. "General Carter, I will go and be with Lady Cassandra and we can decide where their new rooms will be." Although she and others had said their farewells to Sam earlier, she added. "Thank you for your friendship and your command on Atlantis. I too wish to visit the Waterfall Site with Rodney and Ronon."
Trying hard to stop her giggle at Jack's immediate mind flash to her of "Really! Rodney! Must we! Can we lose him halfway?" Samflashed "Stop it!" backto him,as she answered seriously and out loud. "Thank you Teyla. We look forward to your visit."
Teyla nodded thanks before turning and walking to join the others. They nodded their silent farewells as they passed Vala, Daniel and Teal'c and left the Gate room. Rather than staying where he was, Cam walked over to join General Shepard, Richard Woosley and the Day Officer at the computer station so the others could come over and say their farewells to Jack and Sam.
Having changed out of their borrowed Atlantis uniforms when they'd gathered their 'go' bags, the team formed an interesting group as they walked towards the Gate room and now as they stood just inside the entrance archway. Their escort helpers and the bagged up extras, the group decided they could not be without for the journey and future, were waiting just outside in the corridor ready to be moved in when needed.
Vala, her long black hair in bunches, cut an elegant figure wearing black heeled boots, matching leather leggings, topped off with a vibrant coloured, low cut, sleeveless figure hugging top she felt comfortable in and could be a useful distraction when needed. Knowing she was safe here she'd packed her usual long black coat with extra deadly accessories in her 'go bag' that was just outside with the others bags. Beside her Daniel was back in his favourite his dark grey suit and blue shirt, with his 'go bag' nearly bursting to breaking point with books etc he had picked up during his very short stay and couldn't leave behind, was beside him just in case someone unpacked if it was out of sight or with the others. He was holding the Ancient tablet he knew he needed to hand back to Jack. Last but not least was Teal'c, in his Jaffa boots, tunic and cloak, with his short dark curly hair that didn't cover his tattoo on his forehead, even without his Ma'tok staff, that was already in the Gate room, his build and silent stoic manner made him a very imposing figure.
As soon as Rodney, Ronon and Teyla nodded their farewells to them and left, Vala, Daniel and Teal'c glanced at each other realising restrictions about joining Jack and Sam no longer applied. They would be the next to leave Atlantis and go their different ways. Though Vala was nearly bouncing out of her skin with excitement about this new adventure and future life, she stayed beside Daniel as he hesitantly moved forward, reluctantly leaving his bursting 'go' bag for the helpers to deal with and wasn't quite ready for this meeting. There were so many things buzzing through his mind, he really needed more time before he said goodbye to Jack then go into an uncertain future on the Yggdrasil. He had to ask for more details…..and came to a stop.
Having said his private farewell to Samantha earlier, and knowing what he wanted to say to his brother warrior, Teal'c didn't hesitate as he left Daniel and Vala to make his way towards Sam and Jack. His normal silent stoic looks and manner, that gave none of his thoughts or feelings away, along with his brisk walk, making his robes flow out slightly behind him, made him a very imposing and in other circumstances, a threatening figure. Knowing this was friends saying their farewells, the security officers and Nox family stayed at ease but alert, just in case something strange or untoward happened.
Stopping in front of Jack, but keeping a safe distance from the couple, Teal'c nodded his silent acknowledgement to Samantha before turning his full attention on Jack, his brother warrior and friend.
Answering Teal'c's silent nod with one of her own and a slight smile of understanding, Sam couldn't help wondering if this was going to be one of their silent meetings and farewells. But, spotting the brightness in the Jaffa's eyes, that in Jaffa language was a smile rather than anguish regarding the farewell, and their own earlier farewell, Sam was happy to silently wait and see what Teal'c had in store for her husband.
Watching Teal's silent stoic manner as he came to a halt in front of him, Jack stood his ground and made unflinching eye contact with him as he mirrored Teal'c's silent stoic manner. Knowing they could read each other's feelings only too well, so that brightness in the Jaffa's eyes meant he was up to something. Also Sam's slight smile didn't help Jack it just confirmation she knew something he didn't, and he was going to have to take whatever his warrior brother was going to do. So reining in his emotions of their close brotherhood/friendship that recent events had made even stronger, Jack turned his full attention to his brother warrior/friend ready for anything.
Jack, whose skin was still glowing with the energy gifts and Teal'c standing still and silentreminded some of the watchers of a pair of life sized bookend statues, waiting for the large books to be put between them. The two were in fact doing what they always did, tune out those around them, take in silent strength from each other, before getting on with the job in hand or discuss events as equal warriors. The watchers around them also stayed silent and not moving, not wanting to break the spell, while feeling their own emotions building up to a new level because of the continued silence and stillness between the pair.
It didn't last long because, knowing this was his only opportunity to honour their past and gratitude for the future of his own family and that of the Free Jaffa Nation, before leaving for his home planet, Teal'c broke the silence. Clasping his right hand into a fist, he brought it up smartly and hit his chest, before returning it to his side again, in the Jaffa salute of respect, friendship and close brotherhood. Then staying still and keeping his usual stoic tone and manner, that gave nothing away, he immediately intoned. "O'Neill. This is not our last or final farewell. We will all meet again at the time of the birthing ceremony."
Tying down his own emotions and feelings of their unique 'brother warrior friendship', Jack knew like everyone else he'd seen that morning, Teal'c was going to put him on a pedestal he didn't deserve. It had been SG1 and all those in the Stargate programme as well as their Alien friends who were giving them a future in this universe. So he immediately butted in, by perfectly returning the Jaffa's salute with true respect, friendship and brotherhood, before respectfully adding in his usual manner to relieve tensions or as diversion tactics. "So T. Short and no singing, then?" But stayed perfectly still while matching his friend's stoic manner.
Those words were a quiet running joke between the pair, both knew Teal'c had a very good baritone voice and kept things very short, except for certain Jaffa farewells or lists of achievements of one they held in high honour. Those were very very long and in one key, which would mean the Nox would be the only ones left, because Jack was sure everyone else would be asleep or dead, because once started they could not be stopped without a fight of honour, the loser being dead, of course.
Recognizing his friend's opening tactics, Teal'c gave a slight nod acknowledging them, and intoned. "Indeed." Before immediately carrying on the same manner. "Conversation, words of gratitude and friendship must be heard and answered. O'Neill."
Silently sighing, knowing he'd made his point, this would be a chat and no honour would be lost between them, Jack silently nodded, letting his warrior brother have the first verbal shot. While he listened with the true respect their deep friendship deserved, while working out his next moving knowing T would be doing the same thing.
Glad to see his brother warrior was still astute as ever, the Ancient child had not taken anything away from his friend, and had turned this time of honour into one of their conversations. Teal'c knew there would be verbal jousting between them, and determined to give honour where due, he intoned in his usual stoic tone. "O'Neill, it has been your unique strengths and leadership that have brought us to where we are now….
Feeling that was getting too one sided, giving a slight nod to his friend, staying serious but changing his tone to the one of respect and friendship they usually used when together, Jack butted in. "Oh! forcryingoutloud T, if you hadn't had the courage to help free us, then join our team and Stargate Command, shared your own wisdom, strength and support into brotherhood for all of us through the years. Everyone here and our space families, including Atlantis, would not be able to have the future we are all looking forward to take part in."
Accepting the truth of it all, the expert turnaround and closing the matter by Jack, Teal'c acknowledged it with a slight tilt of his head as he intoned. "Indeed." before immediately changing his tone to the more personal one they used in their conversations together, and adding. "Our bond of trust started when understanding my silent fears of death that first night in the brig at Stargate Command you stayed with me, assured me of life, and used your rank and voice to prevent others exacting revenge for the loss of their colleagues, as I started my new life in Stargate Command. The strong bond forged during the years brought me back to celebrate my news and request my Tauri family, with you my brother warrior as their leader, to stand alongside Master Bra'tac and my Jaffa family to become guardians of our children at their birthing ceremony, regardless of the obstacles that other Tauri may put in your way, O'Neill."
Feeling their true bond and honour by Teal'c's public statement, Jack nodded, and managed to quip back at his friend an emotional but firm. "Untamed Equines, T." knowing he would understand the true meaning and feelings of the words that Teal'c had said as a joke to relieve tension and statement he would not leave Jack regardless of the danger from the orb that not only pinned Jack to the wall at SGC but was also killing him, while Samantha was and eventually found the answer to releasing Jack and sending the orb back to the planet they'd taken it from.
Remembering it all, the feelings those words invoked and the promise they now held, Teal'c gave a rare smile and immediately intoned."Wild horses, O'Neill" the correction Jack had given him before realising it was Teal'c's joke.
With his own slight smile and nod Jack intoned. "Indeed." not only confirming the promise but also making the watchers smile as it was in the same tone Teal'c usually used, and those who'd not know the story behind the words could feel that hidden strong bond the two warriors were showing. Before anyone could comment, Jack immediately announced. "To that end, T. I have given Colonel Cameron Mitchell written secret orders and full authority with no adverse comeback, to take command of The General George Hammond and or The Raven to gather General Samantha Carter, himself and myself by any means and where ever we are at that time and transport us to Chulak."
Not surprisingly there were gasps from the listeners except two, Sam couldn't stop her soft chuckle, realising Jack had already covered all bases, and Cam who was smiling with a slight shake of his head realising the significance of some of the messages he held.
Noting their reactions and glancing at Sam, Jack commented easily. "I think my orders might hold more weight than yours."
As Sam smiled and nodded, Jack, knowing he needed to move things on as his hand was itching with energy, turned to Cam saying. "Use a vehicle from the Waterfall site and your position as First Fight Officer to gain access to General Hammond should the need arise."
With a smile, Lya butted in. "We will give The Raven a twig communicator so you, Lady Samantha and Master Cameron can have the right kind of contact, should the need arise. Also, via our communication network the Nox and possibly NightOwl's crafts will also be available to make sure you all attend the birthing as promised." Then, feeling he had more to say, Lya, with a tilt of her head and glancing in Teal'c's direction silently passed the attention back to him.
Without giving Jack a chance to divert attention, Teal'c intoned. "O'Neill we must part soon. I take with me the treasured memories of you the Ancient child, master Jon and myself playing one two three swing jump, and carrying him on my shoulders. These I will pass on to all so they can enjoy them. Also, I will remember your counsel of how to bring the Free Jaffa Council together to include all so they will rule in a respectful manner."
Smiling at the memories those words invoked Jack nodded and respectfully quipped back. "So no Zats at those meetings and you must record Master Bra'tac's reaction and actions. As well as telling them about the game of puddle jumping." Knowing they'd not actually discussed that game.
At Teal'c's unusual expression of puzzlement and exclamation of "They will need to grow to adulthood. O'Neill."
With the listeners who knew about the game smiling and the Nox family looking puzzled, Jack explained. "Puddles as in water in small dips in the ground, not the Stargate Jumpers going through the Stargates. The puddles should not be too deep or the child will get too wet when they jump in them to make a splash and a lot of noise."
"I will do as you ask." Teal'c intoned, then glancing at Lya who was smiling, he checked. "Your twig communicators will do this and transmit to Earth?"
"They use the boosters on the Superhighways of the universe and the one we have put close to Earth to make sure we have good communications now and in the future." Lya answered
Jack checked. "Shielded from detection and damage?"
"Yes. Master Jack." Lya answered not wanting to go into detail.
With a silent nod of acknowledgement to Lya Jack turned his attention back to Teal'c, made eye contact and his tone back to their special one said. "T. Thank you. The special memories we shared and your energy gifts of wisdom, company and counsel are deep within me, keeping the Ancient child safe now and for generations to come."
There was a stunned silence as everyone started to realise exactly what Jack was saying and what it might mean for the future generations of his family if the Ancient Child gene and memory were passed on in that form. Realising this was unusual and honoured that Jack could do this Teal'c bowed, then making eye contact with his warrior brother and with true feeling intoned. "I am deeply honoured my gifts are within you. My Jaffa family and I will standby all those with the Ancient child gene now and through the generations to come." then added with some concern. "Your hand is glowing gold and blue. O'Neill."
That got everyone's attention, especially as the lights on the Gate pulsated and the voice of Atlantis stated. "Lady Lya and Nox family do not fear Master Jack is safe. It is time."
Though Sam had stayed silent before, remembering what happened in their room she couldn't help checking quietly. "Little Jack?" Glancing at her with a slight huff at that remark, Jack sent a mind flash to Lya and Sam 'It is not my energy that is being used.' As he nodded a silent acknowledgment to Sam's slight smile and question, while silently hoping no one would pick up on her words.
Just to make sure, he immediately turned his attention back to Teal'c. Getting eye contact with him and seeing Teal'c was going to step back away from him, Jack said quietly "Stay and trust me."
Because he trusted Jack completely, Teal'c nodded and stayed. Remembering those strange energy butterflies, and as something was obviously going on, he made sure there was space between them and would keep ready and alert to help his brother warrior, if required or duck out the way.
Still keeping eye contact with his brother warrior, while feeling the energy gifts rippling through him, as if they were sorting themselves out, hopefully so the right ones left and the others stayed behind. Jack steadied his breathing, and concentrating on what was needed, slowly raised his glowing hand, in front of him at waist height. As soon as he turned his palm upwards and cupped it, the gold and blue energy dust started to become a spiralling thread which was drawing itself upwards into a small spinning blue and gold ball hovering above his hand, between the two friends at eye level. So it could be seen by all the watchers and giving little bounces in the air while staying where it was, as if eager to be off and away, but was held by an invisible thread or waiting for that final command of where to go.
Feeling the energy had left him and satisfied the spinning bouncing ball was complete, Jack gave a slight nod to it before stating. "T. Our mission to free your Jaffa families has one more step to go and this gift from the Ancient Child and the City of Atlantis will do this. It can not cure all ills or injuries but it will free them from the drug Tretoin and their reliance on the laboratory and its distribution which makes the Free Jaffa Nation vulnerable in an attack. We both know they are rightly wary of gifts so this must be done covertly, and will be over a period of time rather than in one dose. Hopefully they will assume the drug is giving back their immune system and natural abilities that were taken away from them. Their children, like yours and Bra'tac's, will be born whole as the Ancient gene started that healing process on our visit to the Lost City."
For once, Teal'c showed his awe at the statement, but stayed still and silent while giving a slight nod and the others gasped their amazement, Jack carried on. "Let the energy ball rest on your hand and disappear into you. When you return home walk through the laboratory and distribution centre. It will stay invisible as it does it's work, if it is impossible for you to do the walk through it, stay close by and it will do it."
As Teal'c raised and opened his hand palm up he intoned. "It is an honour to finish our mission. The Free Jaffa Nation thank the Ancient Child and Atlantis City for the gift of our future."
The spinning gold and blue ball gave an extra high bounce in the air before gently landing on Teal'c's hand and spinning disappeared into him, making him intone softly. "It is warm, but not uncomfortable." then with a slight bow added. "Thank you O'Neill."
Jack nodded as he said quietly. "It will go." then glancing over at Anteaus and Lya to check added. "Can your travelling gate connect with the Stargate on Chulak so Teal'c and Anteaus and family can land safely in front of it, but communicate through it? To suddenly walk out of the air would spook the Jaffa guards into firing on you all."
Though Lya nodded, it was Anteaus who answered clearly. "That can be done and our family will be safe. The Jaffa know of the Nox by legend so will not harm us or deny our landing safely. "Indeed, it will be interesting to see it happen." Knowing it was time and he could not give his brother warrior the 'human hug' close friends gave on parting, Teal'c gave a smart quick Jaffa salute again and intoned. "I wish you and Lady Samantha a safe journey to Earth and look forward to our future meeting and communications."
As Sam nodded and smiled, Jack returned the Jaffa salute, feeling his brother warrior's parting deeply, managed a casual. "So, T long distant twig calls."
To which Teal'c intoned. "Indeed. Perhaps to break up the meetings we discussed earlier." Then gave a slight bow at Sam's gentle chuckle and Jack's smile before walking over towards Anteaus leaving room for Daniel and Vala to come forward to say their farewells.
