"Trans.: Them"
It's been a while since I've lost interest
Observing people passing by
I just always have to keep a brave act
Excited to feel something
You may not be new to my eyes
You're secretly in my arms and affection
For every meeting,
Can't stop the declamation of my feelings.
There's no answer to the question
Why you're important
No one compares to you
There's no answer to the question
Why you're important
No one compares to you
If there's ever a morning that comes
I hope to listen you again, listen
All I see is your smile
Even in a crowded room
No one compares to you
Whoever they are
You are the sun in the rainy days
And in my cloudy morning
There's no answer to the question
Why you're important
No one compares to you
There's no answer to the question
Why you're important
No one compares to you
Whoever they are
There's no answer to the question
Why you're important
No one compares to you
Whoever they are
No one compares to you
Whoever they are.
"Gomen, sir! Gomen! I'm Aihara Kotoko, I'm your assigned nurse for the night shift." as Kotoko hopelessly cried to the patient while picking up the medicines on the floor. "I'll replace these ones sir, don't worry! Just please... don't...report me to the head nurse."
"Hmmm... wait, does that mean you owe me a favor?" said Keita whose obviously holding back his laughter with all the commotion Kotoko is causing, but she clearly doesn't have a hint on it due to panic.
"Whaaaat? What favor are you talking about? Can't you let this pass between us? Why would you-" as Kotoko furiously talked back to Keita before he cut her off.
"Uhm, Nurse Heaaaa-" Keita jokingly calls out the nurse head, with Kotoko still obviously unaware of him making fun of her.
Kotoko then placed the tray full of medicines on the side table and hurriedly closed Keita's mouth with her two hands, "Okay... OKAY! You win! What do you want? Just don't report me to Nurse Head."
Keita then pointed at Kotoko's hands, signaling he can't talk back. "Oh, sorry." Kotoko said as she removed her hands away from Keita.
"I'll think about it, but for now, you owe me three favors.", Keita replied, still obviously holding back his laugh.
"Geez! How did it become three? You really are something huh? Whatever, just tell it to me soonest, 'cause you will be discharged soon... and don't break our pact!" said Kotoko as she grabbed the tray outside the room to replace the medicines.
After Kotoko walked out... Keita bursted out laughing from what just happened.
"Between the two of us, she was obviously the one who's really something. Cute." Keita exclaimed to himself, before his phone rang...
Calling: My Harumi.
Displayed on his phone screen.
(Back at the Irie's House the following morning)
"Oh my, Kotoko! You seem stressed out! How's your first day?" as Mrs. Irie, her mother-in-law, greeted her with worry.
"I'm fine Mom, just a bit stressed out from a particular patient. But still fun! Hehe. Where's Naoki?" Kotoko asked.
"Ahhh... I think he already went out to school. He's been very busy lately." Mrs. Irie replied. "The both of you barely have time for each other, especially with your schedules. Try to have some date sometimes... watch a movie or go on parks at least."
"I know Mom..." Kotoko sighed, "I'll try to ask him out this weekend. Thank you for your concern."
As Kotoko laid down their bed, she texted Naoki if he has some spare time this Saturday to go watch a movie.
"I'll be observing in the hospital this whole weekend." Naoki replied through text.
"As expected." Kotoko said to herself before dozing off to sleep.
