I dunno what happened, but my 1000-ish words disappeared somehow and now I have to type it all from scratch. Here is a different version of the original chapter with modified things of the original that I remembered.
I was brought to a massive room- massive from my point of view, probably not and just 'big' from the huge robots' point of view- and was placed on the floor. I turned around and looked at Soundwave, wondering what he was trying to do. The door was still open so I walked to it, Soundwave closed the door right before I got to it thought.
I hadn't really expected to leave doing that anyway.
I went to a corner and sat down, pulling out my old headphones that somehow hadn't managed to get crushed in the struggle and played some music. Soundwave left the room to go to wherever he went in this place.
Standing up but still having my headphones on, I inspected the room for an escape spot. Sadly, I found none. It wasn't that surprising that there was no weak points in the barricades- I think I'd be speechless if there had been any weak spots- either, I mean, why would they put their captive in an insecure place? That'd make no sense.
I felt small tremors that signaled something was coming my way. I decided I was going to play a little game with whoever was coming and ran to the door.
The door opened and I slipped out, not seeing who it was. A tentacle grabbed me from behind and brought me back inside the room before I could get a good look at the hallway. I was dropped in a corner of the room.
"No!- Not the- corner!" Upset voices whined, voicing what I thought of the corner. Soundwave didn't respond -I don't think he could anyway-, and turned to something, using his tentacles -which I now think are basically extendable extra arms- on it. He was like a robot version of slenderman, what with the tentacles and such.
I put back on my headphones, hooked them up to my phone, and played some music while nodding to the beat. When all the music stopped, I realized I had been dancing. Soundwave was staring at me- extra arms still doing something- with his signature stare of doom, making me very uncomfortable.
I tried my best to ignore him and looked at my phone. It was dead, great, now how am I gonna talk without using my voice?
My stomach growled, giving me Soundwave's full attention. I did the stupid whistling that people do in cartoons while looking anywhere but at Soundwave. A question mark appeared on his face.
I figured that if I stayed quiet, I'd be ignored. That wasn't the case here, he just stared at me.
He can't access the web, I thought, so he shouldn't be able to... understand...
Oh no.
A website all about humans appeared on his face, something I hadn't thought about. I ran to the weird metal platform thing I had seen earlier and hid under it, silently hoping he wouldn't send his- nope, I'm getting picked up again by a tentacle.
I was brought back to Soundwave, who now had food shown on his screen. I sighed, realizing that I was not getting out of this, and pointed to a few things that looked appealing.
He nodded and left, leaving me alone. I was thinking along the lines of getting into trouble, like trying to break the seals on possible escape routes, but turned away from that when I realized that he could just leave me here to starve if I did.
Eventually my jailer came back with some food. He put it in front of me, dropping something heavy next to the wall, and went about his business. I ate then investigated the thing he had brought along with the food. It was a bed, a nice queen-sized bed.
I looked over to Soundwave and was about to ask him something when I remembered that my phone died. Making a noise of irritation, I tried turning it on. I saw something move in my peripheral vision. I glanced and, sure enough, it was Soundwave. I showed him my dead phone, not entirely trusting him with one of my last links in this place to home, and let one of his tentacles take it- albeit hesitantly.
I didn't have to wait long before my phone was dropped in my lap, fully recharged. I played a clip of thanks and then it was lights out for me.
