Hi. Bye.

I awoke to the sound of beeping. Sitting up, I remembered what happened and why I was in a big, strange room. I looked around and saw Soundwave staring at- hey, that's my phone! I threw a pillow at him- it hitting his arm- and walked over to him with an annoyed expression on my face. I looked at my phone, then stared at him for as long as I could without blinking. Soundwave seemed to understand and dangled it infront of me with his long fingers, I took the phone and made a clip asking him why'd he take it.

"Inspection." Wavelengths appeared on his face everytime he played a clip apparently.

Inspection, that reminds me... my eyes briefly flicked to Soundwave before I put my phone in a pocket, and tried to see what he was doing on the odd-shaped counters he was near. Soundwave picked me up and placed me in the same corner he had yesterday, but this time something was changed, there was a kitchen human-sized with actual appliances, food, etc. I looked around in wonder, my hand brushing lightly against some of the things.

I looked at Soundwave and played a clip with thankful and delighted voices.

"How do you know that?" An entire one-voice clip- that was unchanged- asked me in a voice I didn't recognize.

"Creating- clips?" I asked.

"Yes." Okay, now that one I knew, it was from that crazy old gray robot that I had met on day one.

I showed Soundwave my phone screen while I tapped furiously on its surface, I had done this so many times that I was almost certain I had made a few in my sleep. Soundwave tried it out after I was done demonstrating,

"_hy are- y_u- starin_ at- me?" I almost laughed at the absolutely destroyed speech in the clip he played.

I had thought there was something wrong with Soundwaves' appearance earlier, now I finally pinpointed where looked weird. His chest. I set to work making a clip asking why was the thing that had originally been adorning his chest missing.

"Laz-_r-be-ak." A glitching clip replied as Soundwave returned to possibly what he had been doing before he took my phone.

"Who?" I asked in my normal voice, it was in the same direction as my phone so he shouldn't notice.

"Friend." Was his answer.

I felt hungry so I looked in the fridge to see if there was anything I could eat. Surprisingly, there were many things- almost all of it was healthy foods, very little sweet things- to choose from. Soundwave seemed to know alot about my kind, although most of his knowledge was probably from the worldwide web.

I took out some salad materials and chopped them up, sprinkling the tomatoes with salt and pepper since I loved them that way. I had to root around the kitchen to find a bowl to put my salad in, rooting around some more to find where the silverware was placed. I took my bowl of salad and munched on it, keeping my face hidden as I pulled down my mask- I keep one with me at all times, you never know when you need to hide your face, besides, it's become a habit to carry one around-, watching Soundwave mess around with something on his own counters.

"What are- ya- doing?" It wasn't easy to tap away at my phone while holding a bowl, I almost dropped both things too.

"..." Soundwave didn't respond.

"Hey!" I used my own voice, trying getting his attention as I put away the finished salad. He turned to me and I repeated the clip, "What are- ya- doing?"

"Wa_ techn_logy- fo_d not- good respo_se." Well, Soundwave was getting better at, there isn't cut speech anymore- that's something I had to go thru too-, but he now has a problem of not clipping the words at the right time. I was about to play my new clip then realized something odd about his words, they were oddly chosen and if you broke them apart, they spelt out two different sentences.

"Ya don't- mix up- a single- sentence- with another." Soundwave turned to me and a little question mark appeared on his screen- face- visor- whatever it was. "It isn't- what- humans- would understand- easily-, and- it may- sometimes be- confusing." He didn't say anything and returned to what he'd been doing before I distracted him.

I explored the room- careful to keep out of my jailers' foot range- , finding nothing of interest anywhere. I doubled back to the kitchen area and sat down infront of it, staring at Soundwave, waiting for them to notice my gaze. I waited for a long while before he acknowledged me. Stopping what he was doing, he turned to me with a question mark on his face.

"How long- am I- to be here- for?"

"Keep the human alive, we want her to look her best when her brother comes looking for her after all." Soundwave played a clip that made me regret asking that question.
