Hey everyone! I'm back. Sorry it took so long to come back, I went through some personal things and it became hard to write. But I'm back and attempting to come back to my favorite couple! Hope you enjoy!
I don't own any of these characters till later!
Ana's frustration simmered beneath the surface, threatening to boil over as Christian remained engrossed in his phone, seemingly oblivious to her presence. She fought the urge to snap at him, her voice tight with pent-up irritation. "If you're just going to sit there and act like I'm invisible, then I'm leaving. You can explain to Kate and your dad's PR team why I'm not going to the after-party with you. Your mood swings are driving me crazy, Christian."
Christian's movements were quick and purposeful as he put his phone down, sensing the tension in the air. Ana could see the confusion in his eyes, unsure of whether he was being deliberately difficult or if this was simply his way of coping. The sudden shift in his demeanor left her feeling disoriented and frustrated.
Interrupting her thoughts, Christian cleared his throat, his voice tinged with a hint of apprehension. "Are you done with your internal struggle? We're at the party," he stated, trying to downplay the tension between them. Ana couldn't help but feel a surge of annoyance at his nonchalant attitude, wondering how he could switch so effortlessly from attentive to dismissive.
Ana's crossed arms and furrowed brow betrayed her growing irritation. She could feel her cheeks flushing with frustration, the heat rising with each passing moment. "I'm not going, Christian. I don't want to dress up and walk down the red carpet with someone who's been ignoring me for the last thirty minutes. I'd much rather go home and enjoy the rest of the night doing anything else but this," she vented, her voice laced with exasperation and hurt.
Christian observed Ana's reaction, his own emotions a mix of guilt and confusion. He struggled to find the right words, his voice softening with genuine remorse. "Ana, I'm sorry," he finally managed to say, his eyes searching hers for understanding.
Ana's skepticism was evident as she regarded him with a wary gaze. "Are you apologizing because you're worried about how it'll look if I don't go?" she questioned, her tone cautious yet probing.
Christian shook his head, a hint of frustration creeping into his expression. "Ana, I haven't cared about public opinion in years. I'm sorry because I genuinely didn't realize how I was coming across. I'm not sure how to navigate this with you. You're different from other actresses, and I'm still figuring out how to interact with you."
"Just be yourself," Ana responded more calmly, her earlier anger giving way to a sense of empathy. "I don't want someone putting on an act. You were different earlier, and that felt more like the real you than this." She softened her tone, hoping to bridge the gap that had formed between them. "Let's start over."
Christian's smile returned, a genuine warmth lighting up his features as he met Ana's gaze. "I think that's a great idea," he agreed,
The party wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, Ana would admit she did have a bit of fun with Christian. She wasn't surprised since their conversation seemed to put both of them at ease. He'd gained a bit of her trust as he kept her close by throughout the whole party.
Ana smiled at Christian, "I'm going to find Kate… find you in a minute?" He nodded before turning back to talk to one of his father's friends. Ana could feel him watching her. It was a weird sensation, random, but she didn't want to pay any attention to it at the moment.
When she couldn't find Kate, Ana walked over to the bar. Turning around she came face to face with Jack Hyde. Someone she'd known for a few years…and someone who didn't take any hints. "So I hear you're going to be singing on the album Anastasia. Are you nervous?"
Ana bit her tongue. She wanted to go off on him, the last time she'd seen him he attempted to touch her without her permission. "Jack, how did you get in? Did you crawl out of a hole?" Ana knew most people thought she was timid and scared of her own shadow, but her father taught her to bite back… Not to let anyone run over her. Something she promised herself to continue throughout her new role here.
"Tis Tis Little one. I come in peace." Something about his evil smirk made it hard to believe that. Jack Hyde was the bane of her existence. A reporter who always attempted to somehow get into the scope of anyone's life. When she was starting in Hollywood he was always around the corner trying to get her to talk to him. He wrote so many articles about her; the worst part was the weird obsession he started to have. "So I hear you're still single…Holding out for me?"
Ana rolled her eyes at him. "What gave you the idea, the day my father kicked you square in the balls, or was it when Kate's brother threw you in jail for shoving the camera in my face?" Ana tried to walk away but was cut off by Jack again. "I suggest you move so I can return to the party before said brother comes over and kills you." Ana knew Jack feared being around Kate's brother; he was tall, and muscular and didn't take much from anyone. Ana smirked as he started to retreat; he was an ass, but she knew he wasn't dumb. "Great, now please leave me alone Jack."
Jack watched as Ana began to walk off, anger boiling within him, he went to grab for her when someone's hand connected with his. "I strongly advise you to leave the lady alone." Both Jack and Ana looked up to see Christian Grey standing between the two of them. "I'm pretty sure you weren't on the list of guests invited Hyde. So unless Ms. Steele invited you…"
"That I did not Mr. Grey." Ana smiled up at Christian. He wouldn't understand how thankful she was currently for him stepping in.
"Then I suggest you leave Mr. Hyde, I wouldn't want your bosses getting a strongly worded letter from either of our lawyers talking about an employee harassing people." Hyde quickly removed his hand from Christian's and walked away. Christian turned to look at Ana. Christian didn't know what came over him, but he didn't mind it. "You okay?"
Ana hesitated to acknowledge it aloud, but Hyde's presence consistently made her uneasy. While most photographers respected her boundaries and allowed her to pose comfortably for their pictures, Hyde seemed intent on prying into every aspect of her life as if on a mission. "Yeah... Thank you for stepping in. I can't deal with him. He can become aggressively intrusive for no apparent reason," Ana sighed, her gaze shifting back to Christian. A sudden wave of tranquility washed over her, inexplicably soothing her. There was a subtle but undeniable shift within her, though its cause eluded her comprehension.
Christian's lips curled into a gentle smile as he gazed fondly at Ana. He knew at that moment things were different. The moment between what he wanted and what he knew deep down he needed. "Okay let's try and have a better night before we leave."
Ana couldn't believe how the night had turned out. From the moment she arrived at the party, Christian's attention was solely on her, and she found herself basking in the warmth of his undivided focus. Despite the allure of other women vying for his attention, he seemed genuinely interested in every word she said and every laugh they shared.
As the evening unfolded, Ana couldn't shake off the sense of disbelief mingled with happiness. Christian's caring demeanor, his gestures of affection like placing a gentle hand on her back or leaning in close to hear her over the music, made her heart flutter in a way she hadn't experienced before. It was a stark contrast to his usual cool and reserved manner, and yet, it felt so natural and right.
Amidst the laughter and music of the party, Ana found herself drawn to Christian in a way she hadn't anticipated. The way he looked at her with those intense eyes, filled with genuine interest and warmth, made her feel special and valued. It dispelled any lingering doubts she may have had about their connection, leaving her with a growing sense of hope and excitement.
As the night came to a close, Ana couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unexpected turn of events. It was as if a new chapter had opened up before her, one filled with possibilities and the hope of something meaningful with Christian. She couldn't wait to see where this newfound connection would lead them.
Ana woke up to the gentle glow of sunlight streaming through her window, casting a warm hue over her room. She stretched languidly, the comfort of her bed momentarily lulling her into a state of relaxation. With a soft sigh, she finally swung her legs over the edge and stood up, feeling the cool wooden floor beneath her feet.
The morning routine was a familiar dance – a refreshing shower to invigorate her senses, followed by selecting a cozy ensemble of leggings and a loose-fitting T-shirt. Ana's glasses found their place on her face, clearing her vision and bringing the world into sharp focus.
As she padded barefoot to the kitchen, the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted her. Ana couldn't help but smile as she poured herself a steaming cup, the rich scent enveloping her in comfort. She took a moment to savor the first sip, the warmth spreading through her body.
It was during this tranquil interlude that Ana's gaze drifted towards her bedside table, where her phone lay silently. With a curious tilt of her head, she picked it up and unlocked the screen, greeted by a flurry of notifications. Missed messages from Kate and a few friends blinked urgently, while the icons of celebrity news apps caught her attention with their bold headlines.
E! News, among others, had caught wind of the previous night's events, sparking speculation about her and Christian. Ana's brows furrowed in a mix of surprise and apprehension. She hadn't expected their private moments to attract such public scrutiny.
Setting down her coffee, Ana scrolled through the messages and news alerts, a whirlwind of thoughts swirling in her mind. The juxtaposition of her peaceful morning routine and the sudden intrusion of media attention created a surreal contrast.
With a deep breath, Ana braced herself for the day ahead, knowing that navigating the newfound interest in her personal life would require a delicate balance of composure and caution. Picking up the phone, Ana quickly called Kate. "What is going on?" Ana asked confused by the sudden interest. "I mean there weren't any photographers in the after-parties. I just don't get how they have videos."
"Oh, Ana it is way worse than just having pictures." Kate bit her lip before sending the most recent news article E! News.

Neither camp has comment, but we can't help but hope to hear more soon."
Ana stood there, her phone in hand, her gaze fixed on the picture of her and Christian. Her breath caught in her throat as she studied the image, feeling a rush of emotions sweep over her. The way Christian looked at her in the photo, with a twinkle in his eyes, left her speechless.
"Wow," she whispered to herself, unable to tear her eyes away from the captivating sight. It was as if the picture captured a moment of connection, a glimpse into something deeper between them that she couldn't quite put into words. Ana's heart fluttered as she replayed the memory of that look in her mind, a mixture of surprise and delight filling her thoughts.
Kate could sense that her friend was taken aback by something more than just her feelings for Christian. There was a depth of emotion in Ana's expression, something Kate hadn't seen in a while. Concern laced Kate's voice as she asked, "Are you okay?"
Ana blinked, breaking out of her reverie as she looked up at Kate. "Yeah, I'm fine," Ana replied, trying to shake off the intensity of her emotions. "It's just... this picture of Christian and me. There's something about it," she trailed off, struggling to articulate the mix of emotions swirling within her.
Kate nodded understandingly, her concern deepening. She had seen glimpses of Ana's inner turmoil before, especially when it came to matters of the heart. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" Kate reassured her friend, offering a supportive presence in this moment of introspection for Ana.
"Yeah, I just... you know..." Ana's voice trailed off, indicating a sense of uncertainty or hesitation as she continued to scroll on her phone. Her fingers paused on the screen, lingering on the picture of her and Christian, before she finally set the phone aside and turned to face Kate.
Kate, sensing Ana's unease, sat down beside her on the couch, her expression filled with concern. She could tell that something was weighing heavily on Ana's mind, and she wanted to offer her support.
After a moment of silence, Kate gently asked, "Is there something going on with Christian that I need to know about?" Her voice was soft yet probing, reflecting her desire to understand and help her friend navigate whatever emotions she was grappling with. "Do I need to come over?"
Ana's hesitation was palpable, her thoughts tangled in a web of conflicting emotions she struggled to untangle. "No... Well, we were getting a little closer during the party," Ana admitted, her voice soft and introspective. "But honestly, we just kinda made an unspoken truce, I guess."
Kate nodded, understanding the complexity of Ana's feelings. She could sense that her friend was wrestling with her emotions, trying to make sense of what was real and what might be imagined. "Ana, it's okay to take your time and process everything," Kate reassured her gently. "Sometimes things can feel overwhelming, and it's important to give yourself space."
Ana nodded in agreement, grateful for Kate's understanding. "I don't know... It might just be in my head," Ana admitted, a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "It's a lot to think about and process. So, let's table this conversation and focus on it later because I have a few things I need to do today before I pack for London."
Kate could tell that Ana was struggling to navigate her emotions, and she respected her friend's request to put the conversation on hold. "Of course, Ana. We can talk about it whenever you're ready," Kate replied, her tone gentle yet supportive.
As Kate continued to talk about their upcoming plans for London, Ana listened with a distracted air, her thoughts still lingering on Christian. She was lost in her world, her mind replaying moments from the party and grappling with the whirlwind of feelings they had stirred.
Knock... Knock...
The sound interrupted Ana's thoughts, and she glanced towards the door, expecting to see Kate. To her surprise, Christian stood there, his eyes gleaming with an unreadable expression. Ana's heart skipped a beat, a mixture of anticipation and apprehension washing over her as she wondered what Christian's unexpected visit could mean.
"Christian? What are you doing here?" Ana's voice was a mixture of surprise and curiosity as she greeted him at the door.
Nervously, Christian ran his hand through his hair, a gesture of unease. "This morning, my mother, father, and agent have been blowing up my phone," he began, his expression reflecting his confusion. "I was confused because my parents hardly bothered to check in after an afterparty, but to my surprise, they all needed to call me. All of them wanting an answer about our relationship."
Ana's eyes widened in surprise as she processed Christian's words. "What did you tell them?" she asked, her curiosity piqued as they locked eyes.
Christian sighed, his gaze meeting hers. "I mean, what is there to tell them anyway? There were a few pictures of us, and all of a sudden, people are interested in us," he explained, his tone tinged with uncertainty.
Ana felt a knot of nerves forming in her stomach as she opened the door wider, inviting Christian inside. The unexpected turn of events had caught her off guard, and she couldn't help but wonder how this newfound attention would impact their lives.
Christian stepped inside, his eyes scanning the familiar surroundings of Ana's apartment. "I didn't want to discuss it over the phone," he admitted, his voice softer now as he turned to face her. "I thought it would be better to talk in person, away from prying ears."
Ana nodded, understanding his concern. "I get it. It's just... surprising," she admitted, a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "I didn't expect all of this attention."
Christian offered her a reassuring smile. "Neither did I," he confessed, his gaze lingering on her face. "But I wanted to make sure you were okay with everything before I responded to them."
Ana appreciated his consideration, a wave of gratitude washing over her. "Thank you," she murmured, her eyes meeting his in silent understanding.
As they stood facing each other, the weight of unspoken words hung in the air between them. The sudden spotlight on their relationship had brought a new level of complexity to their connection, and neither of them knew what the future held. But in that moment, as they stood together in Ana's living room, there was a sense of unity and shared understanding that gave them both a glimmer of hope.
Ana looked at Christian, her eyes reflecting a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty. The soft glow of the evening light filtered through the windows, casting a warm hue over the room as they stood facing each other. "So what now?" she asked, her voice tinged with a hint of apprehension.
Christian met her gaze, his expression thoughtful as he considered her question. The subtle furrow of his brow hinted at the weight of their situation, the unspoken tension hanging in the air between them. "I think we need to be prepared for more questions and speculation," he replied, his tone serious yet comforting. "The media attention might intensify, especially with the movie coming up."
Ana nodded slowly, the reality of their newfound spotlight sinking in. She could feel the weight of expectations and scrutiny pressing down on her shoulders. "I know," she murmured, a sense of unease settling over her. "But what about us? How do we navigate all of this?"
Christian reached out, his hand moving to gently take hers in a reassuring gesture. His touch was warm and grounding, a steady anchor amid uncertainty. "We take it one step at a time," he reassured her, his thumb tracing soothing circles on her palm. "We can't control what others say or think, but we can control how we handle it together."
Ana squeezed his hand, grateful for his calming presence amidst the storm of emotions swirling inside her. The soft sound of their breathing filled the space between them, a quiet moment of connection amidst the chaos of their thoughts. "I'm glad you're here," she admitted, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Christian returned her smile, his eyes crinkling at the edges with genuine affection. "I'm not going anywhere," he promised, his gaze unwavering. "We'll figure this out together, Ana."
As they stood there, hand in hand, facing the uncertainty of what lay ahead, Ana felt a sense of comfort wash over her. The warmth of Christian's presence enveloped her like a shield, offering solace amid uncertainty. "It's crazy huh?" She asked. The idea that a few weeks ago you didn't want anything to do with me. Yet here we are trying to figure out the possibility of what this is…"
Christian sighed softly, his thoughts a whirlwind of uncertainty and newfound emotions. The events of the previous night had left him reeling, questioning everything he thought he knew about himself and his feelings toward Ana.
He had never expected to feel this way about her. At first, he had dismissed her as just another colleague, albeit a talented one. But as the night had unfolded, their interactions had taken on a different tone, a deeper resonance that had caught him off guard.
"Last night..." Christian started, his voice trailing off as he struggled to find the right words. "Last night changed things." He paused to look into her eyes.
Ana looked at him, her eyes searching his face for any hint of what he was feeling. "Changed things how?" she asked softly, her tone cautious yet curious.
"I don't know," Christian admitted, his inner turmoil evident in his voice. "I didn't expect to care this much, to feel this protective of you."
Ana's expression softened, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I felt it too," she confessed, her honesty bringing a sense of relief to Christian's heart.
Christian needed space for a minute to take a second to process everything."I should go," Christian said suddenly, a sense of urgency creeping into his tone. "There are things I need to sort out with my dad and our PR team."
Ana nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I'll be in London for the next few days...then I'll be in Ireland by the end of the week," she offered, her voice gentle yet hopeful. "Maybe then we can talk about everything before we start shooting the movie."
Christian's gaze met hers, a silent understanding passing between them. Despite the uncertainty of their newfound feelings, they both knew that this was just the beginning of a journey they were embarking on together. And as Christian turned to leave, a flicker of anticipation ignited within him, eager to see where this path would lead.
As Christian returned home, the events of the evening replayed in his mind like a relentless loop. He was accustomed to a life of casual encounters, where emotions were kept at arm's length and attachments were fleeting. Yet, tonight was different. Ana had stirred something within him that he hadn't expected—a mix of confusion, desire, and uncertainty.
His usual instinct to walk away, to maintain the status quo of meaningless interactions, clashed with a newfound curiosity. There was a part of him that wanted to delve deeper, to explore what this connection with Ana could mean. It was a foreign territory for him, one that he wasn't sure how to navigate.
Sitting in the quiet of his apartment, Christian grappled with conflicting emotions. On one hand, there was the allure of familiarity, of sticking to what he knew best. It was the safe choice, the one that wouldn't challenge his carefully constructed walls. But on the other hand, there was a yearning for something more, something meaningful that he couldn't ignore.
The rapid development of these feelings took him by surprise. How could one night with Ana have sparked such a profound shift in his perspective? It was a question that lingered, unanswered, as he tried to make sense of it all.
Christian knew he stood at a crossroads, faced with a decision that could alter the course of his life. It was daunting, to say the least. He didn't have a roadmap for navigating serious relationships, and the uncertainty of it all left him feeling vulnerable and exposed.
In the midst of his internal turmoil, Christian couldn't help but acknowledge that Ana had awakened something dormant within him—a desire for connection, for intimacy beyond the surface. It was a realization that both excited and terrified him, unsure of where to begin or how to proceed.
As he stared into the darkness of his thoughts, Christian couldn't escape the undeniable truth: this feeling, however sudden and unexpected, was real. And perhaps, just perhaps, it was worth exploring, despite the uncertainties that lay ahead.
Christian sighed before putting his phone to his ear. The weight of uncertainty pressed down on him as he prepared to confide in someone he trusted deeply. Grace's voice, soft and comforting, greeted him after a few rings. It was rare for Christian to reach out to his mother on Mondays, especially after attending an after-party the night before. His call signaled a need for guidance that only she could provide.
"Christian, is everything okay?" Grace's tone was gentle, sensing her son's unspoken turmoil. She was attuned to his moods and knew when something was amiss.
Christian took a moment to collect his thoughts before responding. "Everything is fine, Mom. I just needed to talk to you about something, and I don't know who else to turn to," he admitted, a hint of vulnerability creeping into his usually composed voice. He rarely showed this side of himself, but with his mother, he felt safe to do so.
Grace's maternal instincts kicked in as she picked up on Christian's hesitancy. "Is it about Ana?" she inquired, her voice filled with understanding. She knew her son well, especially when it came to matters of the heart and relationships.
Christian paused, grappling with how to articulate his feelings. "Yes, it's about Ana," he confessed, his tone reflecting a mix of confusion and longing. "I'm... I'm not sure how to handle everything. It's like I'm in uncharted territory, Mom," he admitted, revealing the depth of his internal struggle.
Grace's voice softened even more, infused with empathy and reassurance. "Oh, Christian, it's okay to feel unsure. Relationships, especially meaningful ones, can be complex and overwhelming at times," she comforted him, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence.
Christian felt a wave of relief wash over him as he continued to pour out his thoughts to his mother. "It's just... last night was different. I've never felt like this before, Mom," he confessed, his voice betraying a mixture of wonder and trepidation.
Grace listened attentively, her heart going out to her son. "Different how, sweetheart? Can you try to describe what you're feeling?" she encouraged, recognizing the importance of helping Christian articulate his emotions.
"It's like... I don't know, Mom. I felt something, something real with Ana," Christian struggled to put his feelings into words, the depth of his emotions making it challenging to express himself fully. "But at the same time, I'm not sure if I'm ready for this, for something serious," he admitted, his vulnerability shining through.
Grace's voice remained calm and soothing, her maternal wisdom guiding her words. "It's okay to feel scared, Christian. Opening your heart to someone means taking risks, but it also opens the door to beautiful experiences," she reminded him, offering words of wisdom born from years of life experience.
"I just don't want to mess things up, Mom. Ana means a lot to me, and I don't want to hurt her," Christian confessed, his concern for Ana's feelings evident in his voice.
Grace's reassurance was gentle yet firm, her advice grounded in love and understanding. "You're a good man, Christian. I know you don't think so sometimes, but know that you are an amazing man. Follow your heart, but remember to also be honest and respectful. Communication is key in any relationship, new or after years." she advised, she knew how much work it took to be in long-term relationships. "It won't be easy Christian, Hollywood relationships aren't always easy, but the ones that survive the media and speculations…those are ones for the ages."
Christian knew it wasn't easy, he knew in his heart his parents went through a lot. Even if the media wasn't as bad as it is now, they had their issues. He had to have faith that this was worth it."Thank you, Mom. I needed to hear that," Christian said sincerely, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he absorbed his mother's comforting words.
"Anytime, my dear. Remember, I'm always here for you, no matter what," Grace replied, her unwavering support and love shining through in her voice. "And honestly, Ana is a wonderful young lady.
Christian hung up the phone, a sense of clarity starting to replace the confusion that had clouded his thoughts. He knew that navigating his feelings for Ana wouldn't be easy, but with his mother's guidance and support, he felt more prepared to face the challenges ahead. The next week would be interesting.
Christian sat at his desk, his laptop screen glaring back at him with unanswered emails and unfinished work. The urge to see Ana again tugged at him like a persistent whisper, but he knew he had to tread carefully. Their connection had intensified in ways he hadn't anticipated, and he couldn't shake the feeling that she might not be ready for the depth of his emotions.
Frustration knotted his brow as he ran his fingers through his tousled hair, a telltale sign of his inner turmoil. Ana's presence in his life had stirred a whirlwind of emotions, from excitement to apprehension, and he struggled to find a balance between wanting to be with her and respecting her boundaries.
"How does she manage to drive me this crazy?" Christian muttered under his breath, his voice tinged with a mix of exasperation and admiration. He couldn't deny the intensity of his feelings for her, even if it meant navigating uncharted territory and wrestling with his own emotions.
The thought of spending months on this emotional rollercoaster threatened to overwhelm him. "God!" he exclaimed, his frustration bubbling to the surface. The uncertainty of their possible relationship and the intensity of his newfound emotions left him feeling on edge, unsure of how to proceed without risking everything.
Hope you enjoyed! New chapter should be out this Saturday... It will be fun to hear what you all think!
