One moment. One match that separated Daniel Bryan from his place, his important match at Hell in a Cell. The bell rang and with this, Daniel and AJ Styles started to grapple, trying to find a hold that one of them could take advantage. Turning the hold to his side, Bryan went behind his back and suplexed Styles, throwing him on the floor, while keeping the hold on Styles'body, however, headbutting Bryan, he reversed the grapple, keeping both of them in a stalemate for the beginning of this fight.

"These two athletic warriors started by giving their best on their technical and prowess, using their strengths to keep the advantage pending to one side." Michael Cole started to talk, while at the same time, Jerry Lawler looked in silence. Bryan started to give strikes, using the palm of his right hand to hit the chest of AJ Styles, throwing him into the ropes. Bryan started to run, trying to hit Styles, until he reversed the strike, hitting Daniel on the face, leaving him dizzy, while at the same time, ran and hit a clothesline on Bryan, throwing into the ground. – "Clothesline! This match has started with more fire than the usual!"

"Keep your cool, Cole. I think Bryan has a trick under his sleeve. We know that on WrestleMania XXX, he went against the Animal, Batista and the Apex Predator, Randy Orton, with a injured arm and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2014. If there's one thing we know, is that nothing can keep Bryan down for long."

Hitting several punches on Styles's body, he ran to the left side of the ring, going into the ropes and clotheslining his opponent once again, however, putting his arms on the ground and going back to a intense recovery, AJ Styles started to use several of his moves, giving a kick to Bryan's left knee and putting into the ground, followed by a swift kick from his right leg into his chest, pushing Daniel Bryan to the ropes, while he dodged the following kick and grabbed his body, suplexing Styles and with this, ran, giving a body drop and leaving his opponent dizzy. Getting back into his feet, Styles went back for the counterattack and ran into the rope on the left, getting some impulse and with this, jumping and hitting Bryan on the face in mid-air, making sure to throw his opponent on the floor.

"Remember, folks! We're in Monday Night Raw, live from San Antonio, Texas, for the main event of the night between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. However wins will be the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell." While Michael Cole was talking, Styles and Bryan had it all on the ring, striking each other and showing how the fight was balanced for all the standards that they could imagine. Bryan then, pushed Styles on the corner, making him go dizzy and with this, started to prepare himself for the suplex on the ropes, however, anticipating this, AJ Styles hit Bryan on the face, in which he started to have some issues trying to see Styles's moves and with this, AJ Styles jumped, hitting a strike in mid-air that left everyone in shock. – "The Phenomenal Forearm!" Styles has dialed and hit it!

Going for the pin, Styles decided to finish the fight after a few minutes and with this, the referee started to count, however, after the 1 count, Bryan kicked out, that left the Phenomenal One in disbelief. His strike seemed to have left everyone divided, and after a few seconds, Bryan smiled and with this, decided to go with everything, that not even the announcement and commentary teams seemed to believe.

"The Phenomenal Forearm, most of the times, is the doom for every wrestler and Styles tried to-"

However, pushing Styles back on the ropes, Bryan ran, hitting a Running Knee that throwed the Phenomenal One on the floor and with this, the two fighters started to brawl outside the ring, showcasing how they were willing to go with everything for the victory and reclaim their glory in some points. Bryan started to punch Styles's body and face, throwing him between the table, while the two brawled on the outside. It was clear how the two fighters were willing to give all in their bodies to make sure that one of them would have a chance to take back all they had once, while at the same time, everyone in the crowd tried to understand what would happen now, while the referee started to make the count, trying to see what the outcome would be.

"1! 2! 3! 4!"

Realizing the count-out, Styles ran back to the ring, however, Bryan grabbed his body, superplexing his opponent and with this, throwed him into the ground. After getting into the 6 count, Bryan entered on the ring, while Styles did the same. Analyzing their next moves, the two went for everything again, on which Daniel Bryan pushed Styles into the ropes, making a reach and hitting a clothesline, however, AJ Styles got back into his feet in only two seconds, pushing Bryan into the corner and with this, suplexing him on the ropes, making both of the opponents fall with everything on the floor. It was a situation that left all the crowd, worried about what was happening now. Going for the pin, Bryan decided to do everything for his win, until out of nowhere, Styles kicked out before the referee could make the count and with this, Bryan hit Styles with a punch on the ground and following the scene, he started to apply one of his submission moves to make sure that Styles would give up.

"The Yes Lock! The Yes Lock!" Cole said, trying to make sure on what would happen now.

AJ Styles started to crawl, trying to get through the ropes, while Daniel Bryan was poised to get his victory and insert himself in the match for the Championship, but in the last second, Styles put his right hand on the ropes, forcing a rope break and making Bryan to stop the hold. It was clear how the two of them were trying to do everything to make sure that victory would come now. Getting up, Styles punched Daniel Bryan on the chest, while at the same time, Bryan pushed his opponent on the referee, knocking him down and with this, gave a low blow to AJ Styles, which made him go to the floor.

"Low blow! Just like when Bryan regained the Championship from Styles, he uses the same move against him to make sure that his victory will happen, in very way possible."

Both sides started to brawl once again, while the referee got up, still dizzy and with this, looked at the situation in his hands. Bryan had a fire in his body that seemed to grow after losing his Title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania, making sure to see that he would reclaim his former glory. And with this, Styles pushed Bryan on the ropes again and grabbed his body, hitting his right knee on his opponent's back and throwing him on the ground, but in the meantime, Daniel Bryan ran in Styles's direction and punched him, however, he ended up going to the outside once again and hitting his head on the floor, both opponents were passed out, with the crowd still in shock. A #1 Contender Match that seemed to become a all-out war between two opponents that were once champions and were seeing to put all of their intensities on the ring, going with everything for the win. The Road to WrestleMania already had begun, but with this, it would be a long journey ahead for whoever could win the fight.

To be continued...

Author's Note: Ok, folks, I know ending a chapter in the middle of a fight seems to be a thing you don't expect, but I'm using a little thing in Wrestling to create a cliffhanger, just like there's weekly shows, to create a certain tension, just like it happens on Raw and Smackdown, but indeed, there's a long road ahead, and you can expect the unexpected in all means possible, dear readers, so keep your eyes ready!

See you all next time!
