Ch.16~ Shadow Zone

"Come on let's sneak to check it out." Miko whispered harshly.

"Miko that is terrible idea." Jack stated, I nodded.

I heard the groundbridge open behind me, Miko was already racing toward it. Quickly I let Jack and Raf onto my shoulders and chased after her. From behind me I heard Ratchet call I turned and saw the portal close. I saw Miko racing ahead her phone out, I hide behind a boulder.

"Big brother Jack how do I stop her?" I asked, he sighed as he and Raf got back to the ground.

"I'll go get her you two stay right here." He ordered, I nodded.

'Where the scrap do you think you are?' Ratchet yelled into my com link.

'Sorry Rache, but Miko raced in, we came to stop her, Jack is gonna get her and then can you bridge us back.' I replied.

'That girl…' he grumbled.

"Star look over here." Raf stated, I slowly peeked over the rock and saw some zombie thing.

"Dark Energon made that right?" I stated.

"Yeah, I wish I knew who he was." Raf muttered.

"Bad news if Starscream revived him, come on Jack get back with… Miko!" I yelled, I raced to where she was on top of a boulder.

"What are you all doing here?" Optimus questioned sternly.

"We came to bring Miko back." I replied, I scooped up everyone.

"Go hide while we fight." He ordered, I nodded racing back behind the big boulder.

"Come on I was getting so close to the action." Miko whined.

"Not the time Miko, you could have gotten killed doing this!" Jack yelled.

"Guys, guys!" Raf yelled, I looked over and saw Starscream fleeing through a portal and I saw ours appear opposite.

'Star take them back to base now!' Ratchet yelled, I nodded and raced toward the portal.

As I did I felt a strong current, I struggled to our portal entering I ran toward base, but it went back, and I looked around we are right where we were. I looked around and went to run back behind the boulder and I ran into Optimus, and I passed through him.

"Um… Optimus! Optimus!" I called, but he and the others fought while questioning where we were.

"What is real?" Jack asked, I saw a claw hand crawl toward us.

"Oh no, I think that is!" I cried running away still holding my human siblings close.

"Can't you fight it!" Miko cheered, I hide in an opening in the rock.

"Well I guess I can try." I stated, setting them down I activated my blaster aiming at the hand, but it dodged my blast. "Okay guys run, I may only be able to stall it."

"Miko photos later, we got to run!" Jack yelled, I stepped slowly behind them taking shots at the zombie limb.

"Frag this!" I cursed, picking them up I ran off as fast as I could.

"Star!" Jack yelled as I found a hiding spot.

"I am gonna comm Rache to get us home.. some how…" I muttered, I activated my comm but all I got was static. "Or not…"

"Wait I have my phone what about you two?" Miko asked, I sat down panting out my vents.

"Mine is with my laptop!" Raf cheered, I watched as they fiddle with their phones.

"What's that sound?" Jack asked, I peek around the corner and saw it heading our way.

"We gotta go!" I cried, picking them up I raced away, I need to find a place. I ran back to main area I saw them going into a portal, I raced through, but I only appeared behind it. "So much for going back to base."

"Maybe we need two of them like before." Raf mused.

"But we only have the one." I added.

"Well text them Miko, text them till they reply." Jack stated.

"On it, come on Bulk answer!" Miko whined.

"Still how are we gonna get two?!" I yelled.

"Lure Starscream back..?" Raf stated.

"I saw his arm back in the main area." Miko chimed.

"Perfect, let's go get that arm, and hey it has a missile, even better…" I murmured.

"You can use a missile?" Jack stated.

"I am the daughter of Autobot generals a simple missile should be easy!" I chimed, not that I really done it, but can't be too hard, right?

I ran and picked up the servo, pretty heavy, okay now to fire the missile. Rache said weapons training was only a precaution, scrap I need to fire it.

"Star did you see his fingers move into a position?" Jack stated, I grinned.

"Genius big brother Jack, now guys get behind me." I chimed, they got behind me as I used my visor to aim.

"Go Star!" Miko cheered.

"Fire!" I barked, moving the fingers I saw the arm get blasted behind a rock.

I scanned and could hear it scurrying, I froze, what would it take to stop these monsters.

"I got through, Ratchet is gonna get us a groundbridge back to our dimension" Miko shouted, "Head back to where we started.

"I will but where is that zombie!?" I yelled, I looked around scanning for the disembodied arm.

"Um Star it's behind us…" Jack stated.

"Okay and we are out of here!" I cried racing back to the original bridge spawn point.

Ahead I saw Starscream, must be searching for his servo, which I am holding… As I paused I saw a bridge open before me, I need to go through but if I do Starscream will see me. I know, that arm, it will attack him, just about the timing.

"I will tell you when to run." Jack stated, I nodded seems he had the same idea.

"I will have to slide under him, so you guys run ahead." I added setting them down. "Go in a second before me and I will make sure Starscream can't follow…"

"Alright, go!" Jack yelled, they raced through once they were behind Starscream I ran through sliding under his legs and saw the zombie arm grab him.

"Aw yeah!" I chimed dropping the mech's servo, I turned and saw Optimus standing before another groundbridge.

"You did good Stargazer let's get you home." He stated, I ran and grabbed his hand following back to base.

(Wheeljack's POV)

I paused the broadcast, and leaned back in my seat, so the terror twins were still online. Guess they had a sibling now, maybe I should head back to Earth, this might be the adventure for him. I mean it is those two, besides not that I need much of an excuse to see my bond-mate. Smirking I set a course back to Earth, can't wait to see Bulk and that girl of his.

(Ratchet's POV)

I tucked Star in who had fallen asleep during her check-up, she had quite the busy day. I was both proud and terrified for her, she was able to protect the humans. But I never wanted her to see Dark Energon and how it could desecrate a corpse. When he tried to send the army of the dead here… it probably means Prowl would have been one of them. I can never tell her that, it would break her spark. War ruined her sparklinghood I will not let it ruin her younglinghood too. Not her… Primus not her…
