Ch.20~ Art and Dance
I peeked around Ratchet and saw Bumblebee walk in with a servo covering my brothers' optics as the walked ahead of him. Jackie was behind them stifling a laugh, it was funny. Bee winked at me and I hit play on the song, the music began, and I walked over grabbing their servos.
"Come along with me and the butterfly and bees." I began Bee removed his servos as my brothers looked down at me in surprise as I pulled them into a small dance. "We can wander through the forest and do so as we please, come along with me to a cliff under a tree, where we can gaze upon the water as an everlasting dream. All of my collections I'll share them all with you, maybe by next summer we won't have changed our tunes, we'll still want to be with the butterflies and bees. Making up new numbers and living so merrily. All of my collections I'll share them all with you I'll be here for you always and always be with you. Come along with me and the butterflies and bees. We can wander through the forest and do so as we please. Living so merrily."
"Sweetspark!" Side cried pulling me into his arms hugging me tightly.
"Sides I missed you." I hushed, he hugged me tighter.
"Sides my turn." Sunny demanded, Sides let me go and Sunny grabbed my chin and turned my helm. "I knew it… Carrier gave you his trusty visor."
"Uhuh, he put it on me before he sent me here, it's all the have of him… I rarely take it off…" I replied, I saw lubricant forming in his optics before he pulled me into a warm embrace.
"Sorry we couldn't be here for you, can you forgive us?" he pleaded, I nodded into his chassis.
"Of course, I forgive you Sunny, I am just so happy you guys are okay. I was scared I might never see you again." I sobbed finally breaking down.
"No crying you little cutie." Sunny said, pulling back he wiped my tears with his thumbs.
"Never leaving you again little sis." Sides stated hugging me from behind as Sunny kissed my helm.
"Now what name fits our little sister?" Sunny asked, whipping away his own tears.
"Stargazer." I stated, Sunny looked confused.
"I don't remember Carrier saying that name." Sunny murmured, I smiled and looked up at Ratchet who was looking at us in joy.
"Ja didn't name me Rache did." I answered, pulling away from Sunny I grabbed Carriers servo. "Rache and Optimus adopted me."
"Ratch." Sides stated, in a blink he was hugged Ratchet tightly. "You are just a big softie, thanks Ratch."
"Thank you Ratchet. How did you pick such a perfect name?" Sunny added, he smiled at Carrier as he rubbed my helm fondly.
"That name was special to your Carrier and myself, felt it was perfect." Carrier answered, I smiled.
"Wait really?" Side questioned, pulling back and looking at Carrier curiously.
"Yes, you both know your Carrier grew up in my hospital before the war, Stargazer was actually my old hospitals name." Carrier explained, Side smiled big.
"Is Hatchet even still in there." He joked, poking Carrier who glared at him.
"Keep poking at me and you'll lose that servo brat." Carrier threatened, Sides pulled back laughing.
"Yep Hatchet is still in there, sorry you look so happy for once." Sides stated, I smiled tugging Carriers servo.
"He is right you know?" I teased, he chuckled and scooped me up.
"You have that affect.' He said making it sound like a fact.
"I bet she does, she is too cute and sweet for even you Hatchet." Sides added, he rubbed my helm.
'I gotta go get my charge I will be back in a few!' Bee trilled, I smiled as me and my brothers waved him off.
"Oh, here comes the big bolt." Jackie commented, I grinned and jumped down grabbing my brothers' servos.
"Bulky!" I cheered as he drove in and Miko hopped out. "Hi Miko, how was school?"
"Wow! So, these are the terror twins! Nice to meet you I am Miko." She introduced as Bulk transformed picking her up.
"Sunny and Sides good to see you two trouble makers." Bulk greeted, my brothers looked surprised.
"What is that?" Sunny stated, pointing to Miko who waved a fist at them in annoyance.
"Sunny that is a human the main lifeform of Earth." I explained, he put a finger to her which she high-fived.
"She isn't that much younger than you two." Bulk informed, Sides smiled mischievously.
"So, will you help us cause trouble Miko?" Sides asked very interested now.
"Hell yeah!" Miko yelled, I giggled at their goofy antics. "Star I guess we can watch this new movie later."
"Which one is it?" I asked, she ran around the platform pulling out the film.
"I brought only the best film ever, say hello to Spirited Away." She introduced, I stared at the case, so it was by that Japanese studio.
"I like these movies." I chimed, she smiled big.
"I am glad, good to share some awesome films."
"Why is the cover a drawing?" Sunny asked seeming genuinely curious.
"The movie is made complete out of drawings; each frame is drawn the put together to mimic movement." Miko explained, Sunny seemed even more interesting.
"Miko put in a disc of Adventure Time so Sunny can see what animation looks like." I suggested, she nodded racing to put it in the DVD player.
"Sides come watch this too, I think you would like this." I called, he raced over peering at the screen from above me.
As the opening played I could see Sunny looking at it in marvel. So was Sides but he seemed more interested in the humor in the animation. Guess I now had two more people to watch TV shows with. Ratchet and Optimus held no interest in the media, only checking to make sure it was age appropriate.
"Fascinating, is this like a style of show?" Sunny asked, I nodded excitedly.
"Yep, they are called animation, isn't it cool." I chimed, he nodded rubbing my helm before pulling out a datapad.
"Wait are you gonna draw the show?" Miko asked, he shook his helm as he worked.
"I want to see if I can make this animation film." He replied, Sides giggled.
"He is obsessed, nice job Miko." Sides cheered, Miko winked as she sat over the back of the couch.
"I try, if he likes that then maybe your thing is music." Miko stated.
"For the love of Primus do not play that racket you call music." Ratchet ordered sounding in pain just imagining the music.
"Sheesh Doc-bot I was actually thinking he might be a rap kind or mech, Star play some Eminem!" she cheered, I went to grab my datapad, but Ratchet held it above my helm.
"Miko what did I say about appropriate music." Ratchet warned, I looked confused.
"What's bad about it?" I asked, he sighed.
"The artist." He stated, guess he found something bad about rap on the internet.
"Not the news again, seriously Ratch they are just trying to blame music for dumb people." Miko complained, he walked over holding up my datapad.
"Star is banned from listening to rap." He stated, I frowned.
"But Carrier what about Sunflower." I begged, he looked at me confused.
"What does an Earth plant have to do with this?" he asked very confused.
"You'll be left in the dust, but I'll stick by ya, you're a sunflower and your love would be too much." I sang, he sighed.
"I guess, okay if I hear a song I find it inappropriate then I want it switch immediately." He stated handing me my datapad.
"I promise." I affirmed.
"Okay since we got Ratch on guard play lose yourself." Miko stated, I nodded looking up the song on this app Raf had set up for me.
"A little soft start, oh I like the base…" Side commented I could see him begin to dance but he froze as the singer jumped in. "Oh yeah! I like this turn it up Star!"
"Okay but not too loud." I said turning up the volume a bit.
"I knew he would be a rap mech." Miko stated as we both watched as Sides danced and Sunny drew but his stylus tapped to the beat when he paused.
"I have no idea what half of what he says but I love it!" Sides cheered, I giggled as he danced with joy.
'I love this song!' Bee cheered as he drove in and Raf jumped out and I scooped him up helping to the upper level.
"Seems they are having fun huh Star?" Raf stated, I nodded smiling big.
"So, Bee you look after a human too?" Sides asked, Bee nodded.
'Yeah, he is the only human who can understand my beeps.' Bee stated, Sides looked awkward as he looked to Miko and Raf.
"So Miko you don't understand Bee?" he asked, Miko nodded reading the room and seeming sad.
"Yeah to me and Jack it just sounds like nothing, but Raf the boy genius here understands it. That is why he and Bee are besties." Miko explained, Sides put a hand to Raf.
"High-five little dude." Sides stated, Raf smiled and slammed his hands onto Sides' palm.
"Guess that works too heh, so bud can you dance?" Sides asked, Raf and Bee smiled at each other.
"Let's go Bee!" Raf chimed, and he and Bee began to do the robot, I giggled and joined them.
"Sunny come on let's try!" Sides cheered dragging Sunny over who shrugged and soon we were all doing the ironic dance besides Ratch and Jackie, even Bulk and Miko joined.
"Seems lively in here." Arcee stated, I turned to see her and Jack in the entryway.
"Jack! Arcee! How was your day?" I asked, Jack chuckled as he walked into my servos.
"Good had a shift at work but now I can relax." Jack explained as Arcee teased Bulk and Jackie who were flushed.
"Been a busy day here, well afternoon anyway." I replied setting him with Raf and Miko.
"Nice to see you so happy." Jack said, I smiled nodding.
"Thanks." I hummed.
"Miko and Star is this an animation?" Sunny asked, I watched a small drawing and me between Sunny and Sides as the walked.
"Oh my god! Yeah that is so legit, you drew that so fast! Man you should make your own shows!" Miko cheered, I smiled fondly.
"I love it, really looks like a show I would watch." I added, he smiled and nodded putting his datapad away.
"Maybe I will I never really thought of that kind of art, want to explore it more." He stated, I smiled and hugged him. "You are too cute."
"Sunny!" Sides yelled, turning I saw him being crushed in a hug by Bulk.
"You are on your own moron." Sunny replied, I chuckled as Sides gave up his struggle.
"Bulk come on let me go…" Sides whined, Bulk chuckled as he let go of my silly brother.
"We need to throw a party." Jackie said, we all turned to him with eagerness.
"Oh, for the love of Primus…" Ratchet muttered, I raced over to Carrier and drug him over to everyone.
"Gonna make Hatchet party?" Sides asked, I nodded as Carrier groaned.
"One dance then I got to return to work." Carrier offered, I smiled and spun to him nodding.
"I got the best song!" Raf called, I nodded as he took over the sound system of the base and played a soft song from a cartoon me and him had watched.
"Slow dance with you, I just want to slow dance with you, all of the other boys are tough and smooth, and I got the blues I wanna slow dance with you." I sang as I Carrier let me onto his pedes as we danced.
"Aww!" Sides squealed, I smiled up at Carrier who was blushing as we danced.
Carrier and I danced until the song faded he stopped and scooped me up smiling at me fondly. I smiled at him as he set me back down onto my pedes. Clearing his throat, he patted my helm before returning to his screens. I turned to see everyone smiling at me except Sunny who was clearly drawing in his datapad again.
"Ratchet that was precious." Arcee teased walking over to poke his shoudlerplates.
"Shut it." He muttered, she smiled and walked back over.
"Our turn!" Sides chimed, I let him pick me up and dance with me as Raf kept the best music playing. "Sunny come on!"
"In a nanoclick I need to finish this sketch." He stated, Sides spun around, and we kept dancing.
After a minute Sunny took me from Sides and danced with me soon everyone else was dancing. As we danced I saw Sire drive in, smiling I watched as he transformed and went over to Carrier. My brothers finally noticed him and set me down saluting him.
"No need to salute Sunstreaker and Sideswipe" he soothed, I raced over and hugged his pede.
"Sire dance!" I cheered, he chuckled and let me onto his pedes he led me into an Iacon waltz.
"I am a bit rusty." He stated, I giggled as we finished the dance and he patted my helm.
"Star made him party!" Jackie yelled, I turned to see him grinning devilishly.
"You are amazing Star." Sunny complimented hugged me close.
"Huh?" I replied, Sides knelt next to me and Sunny.
"Optimus hasn't loosened up since we were really young." Sides stated, I looked up as Carrier and Sire talked.
"He can get too serious sometimes." I stated, Sire was a serious man until he would let his guard down. "Opmis can be silly though."
"I bet mostly with you." Sunny teased, I giggled as Sides tickled me a bit.
"Our sister the cutest feme in the universe can warm the spark of anyone." Sides boasted.
'Almost.' Bee stated, I turned to see him smiling weakly.
"Anyone with a real spark." I replied, he smiled at that and nodded.
"Sunny wow nice memory." Sides cheered, I smiled as I gazed upon the family I had thought I might never see again. Thank you Primus.
