Author's Note
Nothing much else to add by this point, except that this has a sliiiiight sexual moment at the end. Still haven't officially released the fic by the time I write this, but it sure is getting my brain rot back to this series in a way. The show premiering while I was in college really shows on that and how I was so much into 2010 cartoons as that I just really like the animation medium that much when I got to be an adult by that point.
What was a pizza party sort of turned into a loose sleepover with everyone else snoozing on either a bed, a soft sofa, or in Janna's case, sleeping on the round table, even being heard sleeptalking "He's got...a horseshoe up his ass..."
However, Hekapoo was walking around the huge castle, trying to find someone as she wasn't exactly feeling tired yet, but she does hear some distant singing and guitar playing, and it just happens to come from the person she wanted to talk to; Eclipsa, who was on the roof top of the castle, vocalizing a familiar song.
"Here I am, this is me

The demeast approaches her, looking impressed, "That sure sounded familiar..."
"Feels oddly fitting, doesn't it? I mean, I'm less royal nowadays but I remember trying to impress the people and monsters of Mewni crooning this tune.", Eclipsa told.
"Knowing what my screwed up state was, I probably made bot accounts to give it as many thumbs down as possible...", Hekapoo sighed, looking up at at the full moon while crossing her arms.
"What's past is passed, I always say."
"Even when I was the one writing "evil" over and over in your trial? Us being in equal ground feels so...bizarre."
"I was stoned, you got warbled by strange berries. That's a start."
"Phbt, it's sort of a stretch..."
"And it was for years. That's another."
"That's still improbable..."
"And we're both, as they say "big mommies".", Eclipsa joked as she chuckled from saying quite the unexpected saying, and the demeast tried hard not to laugh, but does so and they keep on busting a gut.
"Oh man...okay, okay I'll give you that one.", Hekapoo took a deep breath after such a jolly joke.
"Ahem...anyways...seems like you were looking for me, right?", Eclipsa replied as she has a bit of a feeling on why she would find her specifically as they see each other face-to-face.
"You...know my Mom, right? Someone as long-living as you might have known a thing or two about her."
"I do.", Eclipsa said within a heartbeat, "But...I'm not sure if you're ready and even the details are still rather murky due to the fact that there's not much info on your kind...because there was even a bigger conspiracy on your race."
Hekapoo would roll her eye sand sighs, putting her back on a wall, "Of course there is..."
"But there's more...you were close with one of us. It was none other than Festivia."
That name caused Hekapoo to suddenly have a headache, falling to her knees, "A-aaahh...", she groans as Eclipsa gasps, grabbing her shoulders. "Hekapoo, relax! It might be memories starting to get back to you!"
The demeast pants out before the pain goes away slowly, "I...I think I just...don't want to be reminded."
"I know you and her were close and...it was mistaken that you told her to keep the war going and that Omnitraxus wanted peace...while it was the complete opposite. And I have my own regret that I never got to meet her. You and her were sort of the same...puppets in a bigger ploy.", Eclipsa continued clarifying on that, "And I don't even want to get started that she might have been abducted just out of spite because of me."
Hekapoo would then hug Eclipsa as while the pain is gone, and even if her memories were altered in some way, she still felt awful about it all, "At least...killing Glossaryck is starting to feel more and more justified..."
"I never questioned his methods...Star sure wasn't joking on him hiding stuff like this-"
"Eclipsa...just...stop...I need some Goddamn sleep.", Hekapoo would sigh and slowly goes downstairs as Eclipsa watches on.
"She still has unfortunate reminders...and that was only a fraction of it...life's truly can be unfair like that...", Eclipsa thought in her head.

Chapter 4: "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not"
At Bran Castle, a familiar looking crow approaches the place, screeching loudly, although there was something different about as Mina laughs evilly, and loudly states "Sebastian! Welcome back, ya edgy bird, you!".
"Wait...are my eyes screwing with me or is that bird getting bigger and bigger?!", Rhombulus sounded a bit intimidated, even backing off slightly.
"Indeed...I don't recall it looking that huge. Come to think of it, I didn't see it when you were attacking Star and others.", Moon questions.
The oversized crow lands near them as Mina pats on him with her lone hand, "He wanted to cause some chaos elsewhere, so he didn't join with me on my previous attack. Let's just say he ate a lot and we come in contact every once in a while, and now he's a big boy and ready to join my monster-eradicating plans, ha ha ha!"
"Curious what his diet could be, I mean...they usually eat snails, spiders, snakes...", Omnitraxus lists on before Sebastian spits out a human arm as he winces slightly.
Lekmek chuckles, "I respect your weird eating ways.", he smirked back, eating his favorite food ever; a tin can, chomping loudly.
"Looks like me and Sebastian is ready for an attack on those goodie gooders.", Mina smirked.
"Seems a little too soon, isn't it? I want to show Star what's for, too, but this feels a bit reckless, wouldn't it?", Moon added.
"True...but to fully win against your enemy, ya gotta know your enemy, and besides...I wanna test this baby out, too.", Mina shows off her new metal hand.
"Wait...is that?", Moon gasped seeing the steel fist.
"That's right, this is Solaria's Metal Masher! It's usually used as a glove, but with a little old school surgery...", she waggles her new fingers on it, "It's a pounding machine! Lord Solaria admits she never wanted to use it, almost as if it was made for lil' ol' me."
"Incredible...this means that this castle must have been a Solarian checkpoint of sorts...perhaps Solaria traveled between dimensions!", Omnitraxus proclaims.
"That's...some new info on me. Are you sure you don't need me to assist you this time?" Moon said.
"Oh, not just yet. Think of me as a scout of sorts, and besides, Hekapoo's all mine. I'm gonna shove this right up her ass so hard, then I'll rip her damn guts out from the inside!" she widely grinned. "But there's gonna be plenty of time for that cause first...let's see if we can do a bit of huntin' together. Maybe we'll find another human arm to eat!", she rides on top of Sebastian's back and starts riding off.
"I've got to give credit, she might have learned a thing or to in being an actual evil leader.", Moon spoke.
"Even better than you?", Lekmek added, eating another tin can.
"Well...close enough, really."
Rhombulus was carrying the arm that was spat out with his snake hands, trying to chomp with said hands, "Oh yeah...us magical beings don't need to eat stuff like this, right?"
"True, but this is like eating candy.", Lekmek continued on, still eating tin cans.
"Hrm...what are Star and others doing at the moment?", Moon ponders.
Cut to Star sleeping in bed with her abdomen showing as Marco couldn't help but stare at her slightly ripped hard abs, uttering "Aaaaaabs~.", which causes Star to wake up, "Caught ya!", she playfully said, getting into a friendly tussle, Star wearing a tanktop with boxers, and Marco wearing an even skimpier tank top and panties, doing submissions on each other, with Marco doing a light camel clutch on Star, as the door to their bedroom opens.
"Star, Marco, are you-", she sees their "foreplay" and then instantly closes the door, "Or, pardon me..."
"Morning, Eclipsa!", they both said non-chalantly surprisingly.
"It's okay, you only caught us having one of our sort of sexy wrestling fights.", Marco said.
"And Marco's bubble butt is making my back feel like marshmellow hell...or heaven!", Star cheerily said back before groaning slightly.
"Oh, good, I figured I could start to wake everyone up with me being the most responsible out of everyone, after all." Eclipsa added.
"Aha! Saved by the Eclispa bell! This is now a no-contest!" Star playfully replied.
Marco shrugs, letting go of the hold, "Next time, I'll just sit on your face before you even wake up to get an advantage.", he said coyly.
"Oh, ho ho, you got it!", Star menacingly said back, of course being playful, then kissing his nose.
Meanwhile, Hekapoo was heard giving out a loud yawn, which causes Kelly, who was already awake, checking on her smartphone, also to yawn.
"Dang, even after you wake up, the yawn infection happens.", Kelly says as she wore a shirt and boxers.
"Didn't mean it, dudette...hn...sure feels different sleeping at a big castle like this than inside of your house/Mom. Maybe it's the windy breeze.", Hekapoo replies as she stretches a bit, wearing a balck, oversized mid-2000's emo band shirt.
Kelly playfully then grabs the wrists of her arms, "How about a little surfboarding? Been a while since we did this!", putting her foot on her back
"Ooh boy...oof! Whoa!"
"Work it through, Hecky!"
Cue Eclipsa opening the door, blinking a few times, "There sure are a lot of funny morning routines I'm witnessing already..."
They get spotted by her and they both couldn't help but laugh, "Heya, Eclipsa, just preparin' ourselves for the morning ahead."
"Let me guess; you saw Star and Marco doing this, too?, Kelly added as they stropped doing the stretching exercise.
Eclipsa then approaches the demeast, "You're feeling better, right? No nightmares, headaches or anything of the sort?"
"Surprisingly, no...I slept pretty much like a baby.", Hekapoo replied, crackling her knuckles.
"It's okay, Hekapoo told me everything about her memories still being rather foggy.", Kelly stated.
"Hrm...well, that's lucky, did you two talk it out for a while? I mean, you two seem rather close, are you two-", Eclipsa wondered before Kelly interrupts.
"Oh, we're just friends. I'm Aroace, cause I'm tired of romance dominating my life.", Kelly added.
"And I 101% respect that.", Hekapoo added as she hi-fives the Woolett.
"I'm glad you got an acquaintance like her to shape into improving you for that many years...", Eclipsa said.
Hekapoo smiles back, although she then smirks, "Luckily, one small cure is playing a video game about cars crashing each other a lot."
A funny flashback follows as Hakapoo and Kelly are playing Burnout 3 as they get loud and rowdy playing the game.
"C'mon, bitches! Feel the wrath of my Takedown skills! Hyaaah!", Hekapoo was seen wrecking a car, increasing the amount of Takedowns to 350.
"Hell yeeeeeah! That might be a new record!" Kelly yelled.
"Come get soooooooome!"
Smash cut back to the present, "I ended up with 478 Takedowns in a Road Rage session."
"And I got proof.", suddenly Janna appears, only wearing panties and letting her boobs out in the air, with a smartphone in hand, startling the other three.
"I didn't even know you were watching us! But I ain't complaining.", Hekapoo replies back as she ended up being the most amused of everyone.
"Put some clothes on, though, please?", Kelly replied annoyed, but couldn't help but laugh herself, too.
"I know, I know, I was just tryin' to see if the white demon-like gal would dig this Filipina body.", Janna would then carry her bra on her shoulder.
"I guess I can give ya a 7.5 outta 10.", Hekapoo critiqued.
"Oh well, I tried.", she smirked, walking out of the room.
"Well, guess you're fully doing okay after all."
Star, now fully clothed, enters the room, "Okay, what did I miss? I just saw Janna Bannana with her...Janna Bannanas out so something must have happened here.
"She tried to come on to me, but I politely declined. Other than that, Eclipsa was just worried about my well-being.", Hekapoo added.
"Years ago you said Eclipsa was evil and now she's caring for you all sweet-like...is that ironic?"
"Perhaps it is, and me and Star figured that the best course of action is for you, Hekapoo, to make a big speech in front of many monsters and humans and mewmans, well, basically everyone to have their trust on you."
Hekapoo blinks in horror as it smash cuts to her being on bed, "No.", she responded flatly.
Star, Kelly and Ecipsa would look on dumbfounded and even a little annoyed.
Hekapoo then sighs and gets up, "Look, I...don't hate the idea, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get booed and get a lot of crap thrown to me because they don't know the full story about me yet..."
"You're going to have to live through with it. There's always going be people doubting you, I mean, it happened with me as well. Guess you're in my shoes, or in this case, my heels now.", Eclipsa responded in kind.
"We'll be with you the whole way, H-Poo. Something like this ain't gonna be easy, but it'll be worth it in the end.", Star added.
"And if they don't...", Kelly said menacingly and summoned her sword with a small cackle.
"Whoa, that's a bit too far.", Star grimaced a bit.
"What? Oh, I'm not gonna slash 'em, I'll just show my big effin' sword to them in an intense, threatening way.", Kelly clarified.
"Then, let's do this, just give me a big hash brown breakfast and I'll be fully ready for the speech! Hold on, though, what time will it be on, though?
"It's...", Star checks on her smartphone before bulging her eyes a bit in shock, "In an hour..."
"HOW MUCH DID WE SLEEP?!", the demeast screams out.
"A LOT! WE GOTTA GET READY!" Star screams back as Hekapoo rapidly goes downstars alongside the blonde mewman.
"We probably shouldn't have drunk a lot of vanilla soda..." Kelly admitted, scratching her head lightly.
"Strange it actually helped my sleep." Eclipsa admited.
Marco was then heard yelling off-screen, "What's with all the screaming? Did Janna show off her Janna Bannanas again?!"
"That wasn't me this time, dude!", Janna replied, also from off-screen.
Later on in the day, Hekapoo was seen walking around in circles as she was seen behind curtains of a community center with Star, Marco and Eclipsa watching her being a tad weirded out.
"Hekapoo, you can stop going around in circles, you know. I dunno if that will help in your speech to the Echo Creek community of humans, monsters and mewmans.", Star spoke.
"I can't help it, guys. I know I got at least sort of a day's rest from this but guess what? I'm still kinda nervous as hell here. Maybe the opposite way works..." Hekapoo does just that, but instead of walking forward, she walks backwards in circles.
"I made sure the crowd goes easy on ya, I mean, I still got some princess authority in me and I made sure they won't heckle you, even if it was a little desperate." Marco admitted.
"What did you do?" Eclipsa questioned.
"Well, it's a bribe of sorts.", Marco replied.
We then cut to a couple of residents looking rather surprised at pictures of Marco in a bikini that were underneath their seats. Two familiar looking bird-like monsters weren't looking lustful but more surprised, "I did not expect Star's loved one would take his princess sexiness that seriously! I could out-model him if I want to!", Ludo loudly said.
"Bro, I dunno if you could take him on, and I should know, I saw some of his other swimsuit pics, I tried giving it a shot and...eh, I don't think I can match that.", said Dennis, his brother.
"I dunno, maybe there's people out there who doesn't mind tiny limbs like mine."
Star briefly took a peek out of the curtain before viewing her friends again, "Never thought I'd say this, but you being an exhibitionist is paying off pretty well! You keep on being caliente.", Star flirted back.
"And to make up for that, later on tonight, I'll give ya a private strip-show. Want me to be a maid or a teacher?", Marco winks to her, puckering his lips slightly seductively. Hekapoo couldn't help but guffaw a bit seeing this as Eclipsa rolls her eyes, also in an amusing way.
"Hm...how about a maid teacher, for bonus points-", Star teased back, but then shakes her head, realizing on the situation, "Marco, focus! Today is her day to improve on her reputation!"
Hekapoo nodded back, taking one more deep breath, "Then let's do it."
Star then opens the curtains and runs close to the microphone, "Heya, monsteries, peeps and meeps! Star Butterfly here, and I brought all to here about one majorly important thing; you all already know that magic is back and-
Cue Talon Ravetalon yelling out from the crowd, "Does this mean you'll have many more cool battles to post on social media?!"
"That uh...wasn't us, we didn't stage or anything, a lot of people in the airport just couldn't help themselves, but I guess you could call that...ahem...and there's a chance that we might get a few more attacks at us from now on, but then again...you're all pretty used to that from like...6 or so years ago, right?"
The people murmur in agreement, seemingly not being super concerned.
Ludo was heard saying, "I agree and even I was dangerous at one point!"
"Alright then, guess there's no beating around the bush. But we got a big ally to join us and she was once, well, sort of against us, but it turns out she was a puppet by those dastardly miscreants of the MHC...and the poor girl just wants to rejuvenate herself. So, without further adieu...I introduce to you Hekapoo Theta Serpentis, whoooooooo!", she claps and whoops it all up as balloons, party streamers and a song is played on the speakers loudly.
[BGM: "The Boxer" by The Chemical Brothers]
Kelly, Tom and Janna were seen carrying signs, with the Woolett carrying a "Hekapoo 3:16" sign, the demon carrying a "KDPRC 4 Life" sign and the beanie-wearing loose cannon is carrying a "Deez Nuts" sign as Hekapoo slowly walks up to the mic while the rest of the crowd just watch on.

The song ends with an exploding sound, as Talon Raventalon was heard whistling and cheering after brief moment of quietness, "YEEEEEEAH, THAT'S MY GIRL BRO RIGHT HERE! ROCK ON!"
Hekapoo continues to stare at everyone in the crowd as she then starts giving out her speech, "Ahem...greetings, everyone. Now...there's some who know me and some who don't. I was formerly of the Magic High Commission and they're known to be a group who helped the Butterfly family and were against monsters, but that's not the full story. I was...used by them. They knew I'd be sane enough to go against what they stand for and what they want. It got me so bad that, they had me forget about my own being myself. I've since learned that I'm a monster myself...part of a race that I don't think many even knew about. And knowing them, they probably hid it from me, and probably backed them off , because if you all thought their conspiracy with the Butterfly family was shady, then oh boy, the rabbit hole goes deeper."
"She's killing it out there!", Eclipsa whispered to Star and Marco, looking impressed at her speech.
"But what matters is that now I see that I'm no one's plaything, and I can prove to live out my own life, and people like Kelly and Marco proved to me all those years ago and now...people like Star and Eclipsa are rooting for me in this, and they've gone through this oppression before. I won't let you all down. Mewmans, I'm sorry for looking down on you. humans, I'm sorry for thinking you were lame. And monsters, if I ever showed hate towards you, that wasn't my true self; that was what they wanted me to be. I wanted the previous war to be over...but they pulled my hand hard and tried to frame me about it. I still remember Eclipsa's words back then from her own rebel-like state; "I'd rather be hated for who I am then liked who I pretend to be.", well, in this case...whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not. Not anymore. Let's look onwards to the future, yeah!", she puts her first up in the air.
Talon was heard saying, "That was very cheesy...!"
Hekapoo would look flatly to him, but then Talon clarifies.
"...But in a good, heartwarming way, yeah!", he continued and the crowd started clapping and cheering, which confused Hekapoo a bit, but then breathes a sigh of relief, with Kelly and Tom also sharing the same sentiment.
"If that was the Hekapoo from years ago, I think Talon might have been fried.", Tom admitted.
"Once again, you can thank me for that.", Kelly replied with a slight smug smile, running over to where the demeast is and hugs her.
"So, uh...that's it? C'mon, there's gotta be something more beyond Marco fanservice." Janna complained.
"Oh, right! Did I mention we were gonna do a little show, too? With guitars, drums and pure rock!", Hekapoo said, doing the devil's horns with her hands.
Kelly does them, too, adding "Good thing we have all the instruments ready!"
Star and Marco uncover the instruments from dark sheets as Ludo was heard saying "Oh, phew, I thought those were gonna be torture devices if we react wrong."
Hekapoo was on guitar (with her yellow RG Guitar, which was also seen in her dream sequence), Kelly was on bass (specifically a Fender American Performer Precision Bass), Star was on rhythmic guitar (with a Flying V Guitar) and Marco was on drums. The demeast couldn't help but be amused and touched by this, "This is...something I sorta dreamt before learning about, well, myself.", Hekapoo admitted.
"Seems like it's come full circle in a way, huh?" Star said back.
"Oddly, Marco wasn't in it...my apologies on that, dude.", Hekapoo then clarified.
"That's a good call, actually, I wasn't really drumming material back then. I'd be like the the depressing guy seen frowning in most of a post-grunge music video.", Marco added.
"Okay, Hecky, we're ready.", Kelly gave the thumbs up.
"You got it!", she turns around to the mic, "Alright, people, thanks for your patience! We're here to cause a ruckus, in the partying out way, so please don't take this song's lyrics super seriously, okay? 1, 2, 3 4!", she yells out, then starting to play a cool guitar lick.

"Huuuuuuuuuuuugs!", Star yelled as she gets the quartet to a big group hug.
"Oof...okay, this hug is starting to feel a bit deadly now...!", Hekapoo said with a bit of a strain. Eclipsa watches on with confident smile.
Later on that night, Hekapoo and Kelly were having a bit of a laugh in their room on the Butterfly Castle, "Man, I still can't believe today worked out super well. I was worried some crazy hijinx was happen. Guess Star and Marco really found a way to get this neighborhood to not judge me that much."
"Make me wonder...what if we lived here sooner? It's like we're in a big apartment, but without worrying about a landlord, cause they got banned here.", Kelly said back, seen eating some fruit gummies.
"Oh yeah...I uh, might need to get a job around these parts, huh?"
"Yep, it's like my job working at a 1950's styled restaurant. I can sometimes still remember getting bored dancing to "Stayin' Alive" after so many times...and it was just part-time.", Kelly said with slight horror at the end.
"Oh yeah...their shakes were still pretty nice, though."
"Hrm...well, gotta be in contact with Star for that. Come to think of it, does she and Marco even need to have jobs?"
"Well, Star's not exactly a mayor or a governor, but she shouts out loud for LGBT+ rights, feed the hungry, give the homeless, well, homes and have workers get paid more than ever. Echo Creek is clearly becoming one of the best places to live..."
"You don't miss Woolandia?"
"Well, I think I stayed there long enough. I wanna be a stuntwoman, doing all the cool stuff for other actors not ballsy enough to do them, and maybe I'll become as cool of a stunt woman as Zoe Bell."
"Or better yet; an action star on your own right!"
"But hey, maybe the good reputation we had today will help it.", Hekapoo smiled with confidence.
