As Nathan continued back from the hotel after an errand, he was however watched by familiar wicked villains….
In heaven, Team Flare boss Lysandre observed his target with a sneer, knowing that he managed to undo his damage between the kid and Charlie. "That little s#!t thinks he's so smart, but he doesn't know what will hit him!" He laughed. "Uh sir, we may have a problem…." Dr Xeosect announced as he entered the room with a tablet in his hands. "It appears that Nathan has gained the trust of Xerneas!" He informed. "WHAT!?" Lysandre yelled before grabbing the tablet and seeing what was happening. "Has he caught the legendary?" "To our knowledge, no sir, not yet anyway…." "Ok, then make sure it doesn't come to that! If we lose Xerneas to the enemy, our plans are shot!" Lysandre ordered, before standing up and going towards the door. "And to make sure you won't f*(k it up, I will be overseeing it."
Back at the hotel, Nathan came back to see Charlie just beginning a new seminar for redemption with her guests. "Oh Nathan! Just in time!" She said, pulling her friend to the couch. "We're just beginning our lesson on good sportsmanship!" Nathan then sat down with the others. "Ok everyone, today we're learning how to be a good sport!" Charlie began. "When being a good sport one must play by the rules, be kind to others and not get too competitive!" The princess then pulled out a small hat that was turned upside down and filled with small cards inside. "Now I was gonna do a simple soccer game but then I realized that we might not have enough players…" "Awe I'm sure you guys would have loved seeing me in a soccer uniform!" Angel commented, planting a disturbing image in everyone else's heads. "So I decided to do something a little different! Nathan?" Charlie continued as she pulled Nathan up. "So I decided we could do Pokémon battles! It counts as a sport in your world right?" "Uh, yeah! Especially in the galar region, they take it very seriously!" Nathan answered. "So follow me outside and I'll tell you the rest!"
Outback, they noticed that Charlie decorated the place to look like a Pokémon battlefield, with a white chalk line drawn into a rectangle and divided with a pokeball in the center. "Nathan is going to battle each one of you, after I randomly selected them from this hat!" Charlie explained. "Are you sure, I mean he only has like five Pokémon, what with Yveltal being indisposed of at the moment!" Angel responded. "Hey, I can work with five Pokémon. Thank you very much!" Nathan argued. "Now then, I believe we can get started! Nathan, please take your position!" Charlie said as Nathan stood on the field and pulled out one of his pokeballs. "And the first one Nathan will face…" Charlie then drew from the hat. "Oooh! Sir Pentious!" The snake demon then slithered up to the floor across from Nathan. "Haha! It appears that fate has destined ussss to battle once more!" He laughed as he pulled out one of his nest balls. "Prepare for the fight of your life!"
Sir Pentious started by sending out his magneton, while Nathan sent out his tyrantrum. "Magneton! Ussse gyro ball!" "Dodge and use dig!" Titanasur dodged the oncoming strike and dug deep into the earth before striking from above but due to its sturdy ability it was unable to be knocked out. "Fire your flash cannon!" The Magneton then blasted out its flash cannon attack and greatly damaged its target. "Earthquake quickly!" With a single stomp and an earthquake, the Magneton was defeated.
The snake demon then retracted his Pokémon and sent out his emolga. "Haha! Emolga is a flying type! And your ground type moves are incapable of damaging it!" Sir Pentious laughed as his emolga laughed with him. "Emolga! Thunder wave!" The emolga then sent out a wave of electricity that caused paralysis upon her opponent. "Titanasur, try to push through! Use your stone edge!" The emolga dodged the stone edge attack. "Now ssstrike with your iron tail!" The emolga then ironized her tail and struck the opponent, damaging her opponent mightily. "Stone edge again!" With the stone edge attack, the emolga fell to the ground.
Both Nathan and sir Pentious then retracted their Pokémon and sent out their next partners, Nathan sent out his Greninja while sir Pentious sent out his murkrow. "Prepare for your defeat! Murkrow! Use your aerial ace!" The murkrow then struck the Greninja with a swipe of the wind. "Night tide! Freeze 'em with, ice beam!" The Greninja blasted out his ice beam attack and greatly damaged him. "Another one for good measure!" "Protect yourself murkrow! Quickly!" The murkrow then generated a barrier that deflected the attack. "Now, use your drill peck attack!" The murkrow then flew straight at the opponent and spun around in a drill like fashion and stabbed through the opponent. "One more ice beam, pronto!" With a blast of ice, the murkrow was defeated.
Sir Pentious then swapped out for his next Pokémon, a crobat. "Huh! I see your Golbat got friendly enough with you and evolved!" Nathan commented. "Is that what happened? I was just scratching his chin one day and it just happened!" Sir Pentious replied before shaking his head. "But enough talk! Prepare for your annihilation!" He yelled dramatically. "Crobat! Pin him down with your venoshock attack!" The Pokémon then blasted a venomous wave onto his opponent. "Night tide! Another ice beam if you'd please!" Night tide then blasted out another ice beam that damaged the opponent greatly. "Haha! I knew you'd try that attack!" He laughed dramatically. "You knew I'd use ice beam again?" "Indeed! So I have the perfect counter for it!" "What's that? X-scissor?" "Even better… crobat! Ussse Giga drain!" The crobat then began to absorb a massive amount of energy from the water type, damaging it greatly and healing the other in the process. "Whoa! Impressive!" Nathan said before returning his Greninja and sending out his Gardivoir. "Now, face my might! Crossss poison, crobat!" The crobat then slashed across the psychic/fairy type in an X shaped venom slash. "Now, let's get rocking! Kineticx! Use thunderbolt!" The Gardivoir then unleashed a powerful lightning strike towards the enemy, which nearly defeated it. "Now, use psychic!" With one final psychic blast, the crobat was defeated.
Once again sir Pentious then swapped his defeated Pokémon for his eevee. "Eevee! Ussse shadow ball!" The eevee's shadow ball then shot out his ghostly orb and damaged it greatly. "Two can play that game! Kineticx! Use, energy ball!" Gardivoir then shot out his energy ball and retaliated against his opponent. "Now use, return!" The eevee then unleashed a force of power that managed to overpower his opponent. "Here comes Shadowsaber!" Nathan yelled before sending out his aegislash. "Use, sacred sword!" With a single swipe the eevee was defeated.
"Go klang! Strike with your mighty gearssss!" Sir Pentious yelled before sending out a gear with a single Klink on it. "Klang!" "Wow! Klang huh?" Nathan said before checking his dex.

A steel type
The large gear and mini gear that comprise its body grind to communicate their feelings, when angered they grind extremely fast.
Nathan then put his dex away and readied himself with his aegislash at the ready as well. "Klang! Paralyze her with your thunder wave!" The Klang then sent out a wave of electricity that managed to paralyze its opponent. "Sacred sword once more!" Shadowsaber was about to strike but due to the paralysis, it stopped her before she could do it. "Haha! Now send out your dissscharge!" The klang then blasted out an electrical shockwave before fortunately the aegislash was able to withstand well. "Don't give up! Another sacred sword!" The aegislash tried to pull through but succeeded with slash and defeated the klang in one hit.
Nathan then returned his Pokémon to her ball with his victory. "Nice crobat and klang!" He congratulated. "Thank you my friend, I sssee that you don't hold back even with one of your Teammatesss gone!" Sir Pentious replied proudly before shaking hands with his fellow colleague. "See? Being a good sport means you must respect others even if you lose!" Charlie said, showing the aftermath of the fight. "Alright, who's next on the list?" Nathan said proudly as his friend pulled out the hat and began pulling out names.
After a few hours of battling and healing in between battles, Nathan got quite the kick from his friends, from husk's carvanha learning the moves, waterfall and ice fang, to Angel's spinarak learning poison jab and shadow sneak, and to nifty's minccino learning the moves iron tail and GIGA IMPACT of all things, even he was confused by how that was even possible since they don't learn without it evolving, it even if it requires a technical machine. Soon he got a phone call, and answered. "Yallo? Oh hey professor what's up?" He said over the phone. "Uh huh… wait really!?… Ok, I'll head over there now!" Nathan hung up before turning to the princess. "It's professor Sycamore, he says that he might have something that could help us find Yveltal!" He explained before Charlie opened a portal and the two jumped inside.
On earth, the two arrived at the professor's lab and went up to the man in question. "So what's up professor?" Nathan asked. "Well first, there's been sightings of a supposedly new organization." Professor Sycamore began. "Oh Team Void, I've had a couple run-ins with them." "Well this Team Void gang has been showing up at various places in Kalos, some have been stealing Pokémon, others strangely, have been found protesting against religion!" The professor then showed a couple of videos showing Team Void attacking trainers, but surprisingly protesting against churches, holding up picket signs, and throwing tomatoes at them. "No one knows where they came from but they sure are making themselves known." The professor continued. "But that got me wondering, what if Team Void are the ones who took Yveltal?"
That made Nathan's eyes widen, Team Void suddenly appearing JUST before his legendary friend's disappearance, that can't be a coincidence! "How could I have not seen it!" He yelled, banging his head with his fist. "I was so concerned about finding him and stopping the Angels that I failed to connect the dots!" "Well, do you have any clues to find them?" "Not much, just that one of their admins is named Agatha…." Nathan replied. "Is there anything else you can find about them?" "Sadly no, the grunts that were taken into custody just up and disappeared!" Professor Sycamore replied. "I'll keep on checking for any sightings of them however, and Serena's doing her best to stop any from their misdeeds." "Got it, we'll head back to hell for any sightings for them as well." Nathan said before the two went back to the portal.
Later back in hell, Nathan went into a hardware store to pick up some supplies, but that was interrupted by the sound of a loud bang. He turned around to see someone in a ski mask and armed with a pistol trying to rob the store. "EVERYONE HIT THE F*(KING GROUND THIS IS A ROBBERY!" He ordered as everyone landed on the ground, but Nathan however hid by a shelf, before sending out his Greninja. "Night tide, use water shuriken on his weapon, then use night slash to take him down." He commanded to which the Pokémon shook his head and stealthy maneuvered to the robber, who was currently in the midst of stealing cash from the register. "Haha! I'm eating good tonight!" He laughed, before his weapon and blasted out of his hands. "What the f*(k!?" He yelled before turning around and getting knocked out and defeated. Nathan then emerged from his hiding spot and kicked the weapon far from the robber. "More like you're starved!" He quipped before laughing at his awful joke, which left the room silent. "Too soon?" The Greninja shook his head, before Nathan put back the money to the cash register. "You saved us! How can we ever repay you?" One of the sinner clerks asked, Nathan then got an idea, while he knew that doing good is its own reward, he had something else in mind.
Once he left the store that now had a large advertisement for the hotel, Nathan strolled back to the building, but came to a stop to see a Team Void grunt that immediately recognized him and the two began a chase.
The chase eventually led to a dead end with Nathan staring down the grunt. "Alright buddy, I'm giving you one chance, where's Yveltal?" "I have no idea what you're talking about!" The grunt argued. "Uh, a legendary Pokémon of Kalos? Saps the life out of people and Pokémon like a sponge? Ring any bells?" Unfortunately before he could get any answers, he was pulled away by two members of another familiar villain team. "There you are, you little s#*t!" The Team Flare grunt sneered, grabbing Nathan by the arm. "Team Flare!? I seriously don't have time for this!" Nathan yelled before turning to the other grunt but came to find out that the grunt disappeared. "What the!? But how did!?" He was at a loss for words before turning to his attackers. "Now look at what you've done!" He then pulled out a pokeball and got ready to fight.
The two grunts sent out two houndooms, which were large and hellish versions of their houndour, while Nathan sent out his Greninja and Gardivoir. "Night tide! Surf! Kineticx dazzling gleam!" The two then blasted their attacks to the enemies, which defeated them on the spot. "Luckily we came prepared!" The male grunt laughed before they sent out a manectric, a large dog Pokémon with electric blue and yellow fur, and a golbat. "Manectric! Use Thunder fang!" "Golbat! Venoshock!" The manectric then bit into the Greninja with electrified fangs, damaging him greatly. While the golbat sent out a blast of venom directly onto the Gardevoir. "Night tide ice beam! Kineticx, use, energy ball!" The Gardivoir then shot out his energy ball directly onto the manectric, while night tide shot out his ice beam directly at the golbat, damaging it greatly and nearly defeating it. "Manectric! Use discharge!" "Golbat poison fang!" The manectric then blasted out a surge of electricity onto the Greninja, causing great damage, while the Golbat bit into the Gardevoir and poisoned it in the process. "Kineticx! Use, psychic! Night tide! Night slash!" The two Pokémon blasted out their attacks and managed to defeat them.
With the two defeated, Nathan had his Pokémon throw the grunts out into the streets, before turning back to the wall. "Now how did he get through here…?" He asked himself as he felt around the wall, looking for a secret passage or a hidden trap door, like in those old scary movies. "C'mon, secret passage… secret passage…." As Nathan continued to feel around, he heard a click. "Jackpot!" He then returned his Pokemon before a hidden passage opened up and he stepped inside.
Unbeknownst to him, the grunts saw their enemy entering the base and phoned their boss.
Inside Nathan was greeted with metallic hallways illuminated by purple light, he Stealthily walked through the halls as to not be found. "So far so good…." He said to himself.
As he continued on he looked to see the void grunts painting their emblem over, surprisingly, Team Flare's emblem! "Wait… is this a Team Flare base?" He whispered. "Why are they taking it over?" Suddenly the grunts stood straight up upon seeing none other than admin Agatha marching up to them. "Progress report!" She ordered. "We're nearly done with the renovations on this outpost mham." One of the grunts reported. "Good, and the grunts here?" "Drove them out, scurrying like rattatas!" "Perfect, we'll be able to have a view of this side of the city!" Agatha laughed before she left with the grunts following beside her. "So Team Void is turning flare outposts into their own… but why?" Nathan pondered, before following them from a distance.
Meanwhile outside the outpost, Lysandre and a group of his minions surrounded the front entrance. "So you're telling me that he somehow managed to discover one of our hidden outposts!?" He growled. "Yes sir, we tried to inform the others inside but we appear to have lost contact with them." The grunt replied. "What!? That's the third post this month!" Lysandre yelled before holding his chin. "Blast! Nathan must be taking out my outposts and losing my grasp of the city, everyone inside! Now!" Soon he and his squadron accessed the door and stepped inside.
Inside the base, Nathan snuck through the base before hearing chatter from the far end of the hall he was about to see them but saw two Team Void grunts heading toward him and immediately hid in another room just before the grunts could turn to the corner.
Inside however was a server room with a Team Void grunt on the phone with somebody. "Well this seems familiar…." Nathan said to himself before hiding behind one of the servers. "Time for a distraction." He said to himself before pulling out a pokeball and throwing it on the ground, causing the grunt to hang up and inspect the area before being knocked out by a single punch from Nathan. "That was much easier!" Nathan then turned to the computer and inspected it. "Let's see what we have here…" He then inspected the files, seeming operations involving Team Flare. "I gotta tell the others this!" Nathan said before pulling out his phone and calling the others. "Nathan what's up?" Charlie asked. "Charlie, I found some kind of Team Flare base being taken over by Team Void!" Nathan replied, before turning back to the computer.
Nathan then noticed a file, it appeared to be some kind file that detailed Lysandre's plan. Nathan checked it out as he discovered what Lysandre's newest scheme was. "According to this, he managed to get heaven's trust so he could use them to carry out his plan." "I guess that explains why the angels were working with him." Charlie added. "Yeah but check this out. "Phase two of our plan is complete, I manage to convince Adam to begin his yearly massacre earlier than expected." He's the reason why Adam moved up the extermination! But why?" Nathan then took a closer look. "It says here that he hopes that I'm killed in the crossfire so they can carry out the last step!" "Guess it would be enough to take you down, even if it's overkill." Nathan then looked at the last phase of his enemy's plan, but what he saw made him go cold. "He's… he's going to use the angels to kill all non Team Flare members on earth!"
"That's ridiculous! There's no way that the angels would do something like that!" Charlie argued. "He did manage to get Adam to move up the extermination didn't he?" Nathan replied worriedly. "Then we definitely need to stop him and the angels!" Suddenly, he heard footsteps outside the door that caused him to hide behind one of the pillars. The doors opened where, to his surprise, Lysandre entered the room with several grunts along with him. "Ugh… he even painted the room a disgusting purple…." He grumbled. "Searched The place, they couldn't have gotten far." He ordered before Nathan snuck away.
He then went back out in the hallway to catch his breath. "Speak of your dad… Lysandre's here as well, he must've heard about the situation and came to find them." "Well you gotta get out of there, two Team villains there are definitely bad!" Charlie pleaded. "Ok, I'll talk to you later!" He then hung up before turning to see Agatha standing before him and knocked him out cold.
When he regained consciousness, he was met with both Agatha and Lysandre arguing with one another, but with his ears ringing, he couldn't make out what they were saying, suddenly Agatha ordered two of her grunts to grab him by the arms and dragged him away. "Oh! Morning sleepyhead!" She laughed, noticing her captured figure waking up. "You… Agatha was it?" "You know it kid, I warned you what would happen if you'd keep sticking your nose in our plans, but it looks like you need to be taught this lesson again!" Agatha then grabbed Nathan by the shirt and threw him aside. Nathan then got up on his knees, but was sucker punched back down by his attacker. "You think you can just mess with us like this and just walk away? You're dead wrong, you little s#*t!" Agatha growled before grabbing Nathan by the throat. "And you're dead…." Suddenly she heard a loud noise and several people screaming. "S#!t…." The admin then let go of her target and stormed out.
Nathan, taking an opportunity, immediately went out with the door and saw several Team Void grunts fending off Team Flare. "Whoa, gang war…." He commented before rushing through, running past several Pokémon battles between the two villain Teams.
Once he reached a point, she saw Lysandre and Agatha again, this time with him growing while Agatha was laughing profusely. "If you got beaten by that child, then you clearly are pathetic!" She said proudly while Lysandre turned beside her. "Then how about take him on yourself, huh?" He laughed as Agatha turned around. "Seriously? You are definitely getting on my nerves!" She yelled as she and Nathan pulled out their pokeballs. "Fine, you want a fight? Then I'll give you one!"

Agatha began the battle with her first Pokémon, a pancham, while Nathan sent out his Gardivoir. "Pancham! Use, circle throw!" The Pokémon then grabbed the Gardivoir and immediately threw him back to his trainer, and caused him to be forcefully swapped out with Night tide. "Night tide! Use surf!" "Protect!" The pancham immediately protected the oncoming surf attack. "Now power up punch!" The pancham then hit the opponent with a powerful bash that energized it in the process. "Night tide! Use surf!" The Greninja then unleashed a powerful wave that struck down the pancham. "No way! Pancham! Low sweep!" Pancham then swiped underneath the Greninja, tripping him and nearly defeating him. "Quick water shuriken! Now!" The Pokémon then struck the opposite Pokémon and managed to defeat it. "Nice work night tide, now return." He congratulated, returning his Pokémon.
Agatha then sent out her next Pokémon, her houndoom. While Nathan sent out his tyrantrum. "Houndoom, use Thunder fang!" "Dodge and use earthquake!" Titanasur then dodged the electrical fangs and stomped on the ground, allowing the tectonic plates to damage the houndoom due to its fire typing. "You're gonna regret that. Houndoom! Use rock smash!" The houndoom then grabbed a large rock and threw it directly at the opponent, shattering on impact and heavily damaging him in the process. "Dig under Titanasur!" The tyrantrum then dug under the earth before emerging and striking the houndour, defeating it in the process.
Agatha growled as she retracted her Pokémon and sent out her last Pokémon, a scyther. "You do know scythers are extremely weak to rock type attacks right?" Nathan informed the admin. "Scyther, brick break Titanasur in half!" The scyther then struck the opponent tyrantrum with a powerful chop damaging him greatly in the process. "Stone edge Titanasur!" "Dodge and use, double team!" The scyther then dodged the stones and created multiple duplicates of itself. "Ugh I hate that more!" Nathan groaned. "Uh… Titanasur! Use Draco meteor!" The tyrantrum then struck the clones with a powerful meteor attack before it struck the real scyther. "Scyther steel wing!" The scyther then ironized its wings before striking the opposing Pokémon with them. "Now finish it with one last Stone edge!" Titanasur then blasted out the stones and managed to defeat scyther.
Agatha then crossed her arms in disappointment. "It appears that you're tougher than you look." "Yeah, I get that a lot." Nathan said proudly while Titanasur flexed his muscles like a bodybuilder. "But don't think you've won just because you beat me!" Agatha argued as she returned her scyther. "Team Void is growing stronger with each passing moment. And with the powers we now possess, we'll finally show heaven the pain they've caused!" "What's that supposed to mean?" Nathan questioned. "You'll find out soon enough, but for now, see you soon…." Agatha then pulled out a smoke bomb and disappeared.
With Agatha retreating, Nathan seemed to have a clear shot at Lysandre, but to his disappointment the Team Flare boss and the remaining Flare grunts retreated as well. "Great… and just when I was about to get at him." He groaned, as he was about to defeat him and question him for answers about what he was doing here. "Why was he even here in the first place…?" His tyrantrum whined in concern. "I know but it's not like he was the one who…" that's when a light in Nathan's head came on and the puzzle started to come together…. "How could I have not seen this before!?" He yelled as he marched out the exit with his Pokémon following behind.
Back at the hotel, Nathan busted through the doors with the groceries and tossed them on the floor. "Ugh! How did I not see this coming!?" He yelled, startling everyone. "It was right there in front of me yet I was too confused and focused on everything else to see it!" "Uh… see what Nathan…?" Charlie asked as everyone else turned around him. "Lysandre! He's the one who took Yveltal!" Everyone was shocked by that revelation. "But what about Team Void?" Angel asked. "They're the Same organization, that's why!" Nathan explained. "Team Void was a cover up, a red herring to throw us off from them!" "But why would they kidnap Yveltal?" Vaggie asked, concerned. "Duh! To use him for the extermination! Before they use him to fulfill the last step of their plan! They've done it before, they might as well do it again!" He yelled. "They're going down! Did your dad manage to get the meeting with heaven?" "Yeah, that's what we were going to tell you before you screamed like a maniac." Charlie replied. "Good, pack your bags, Vaggie." Nathan replied, turning to the co-manager. "We're going to heaven!"
Later that night, as Vaggie packed her stuff, she looked at her spear with regret, knowing full well of what she used before Charlie came to her life….
