Originally posted on Archive of Our Own on May 19, 2024, this is a Cinquain about Kestrel from Wings of Fire. (There are author's notes addressing the whole Cinquain thing plus how I write my cinquains). Also on my Tumblr.

Five dragonets find themselves thrust into the world with only an enigmatic 'scavenger' for aid and protection. A man awakens to find that everything he's worked for is completely and utterly destroyed, with only a group of dragonets for company. Can these dragonets keep him sane and help him gain back what he lost? Who will be the heroes' hero, and who will be the hero's heroes?

Takes place during late 3rd arc. Attacus is a SilkWing dragonet. He and his twin sister, Lachia, for the most part, are pretty normal, except for Attacus being completely blind as a result of a fire accident. Everything's fine, they meet new friends all over the place. But when they undergo metamorphosis, the tables turn upside down. Work in progress.

Follow Coyote as he adjusts to his dream school Jade Mountain Academy he gets placed in the Silver winglet he has to adjust to his new clawmates and his classes, what will happen with the other dragons will they welcome Coyote or will he be rejected? Will Coyote get into any fights who knows? Will he get feelings for anyone you would have to read this story to find out.

Banished to an unknown realm, the betrayed Darkstalker must recover and walk forward to find answers and a good future for him. Time will tell if he succeed or if he breaks over what is before him, a desolate realm where its past is the Key...

After being left for dead by the IceWings, Winter changes his loyalties and helps the SkyWings and MudWings gain an edge in the war. After hatching under three full moons, Sunny grows up with the legendary NightWing powers, including visions of the future. After being found by a kind RainWing, Moon grows up in the RainWing village and is determined to keep her home safe.

A recent string of murders, all involving Icewing victims, has caught the attention of Queen Snowfall and her trusted friend Mistral. As the most recent victim was another friend of Mistral's, the Icewing will not stand idly by. Snowfall has sent him down to the Rainforest after a potential lead, and his investigation will have him working closely with the Rainwing Queen herself.
