With Sakura victorious from her battle with Kira, she briefly does her victory dance and checks her surroundings before leaving.
BOOM!
Sakura turns around and looks up at the unfinished building where there are multiple explosions that only Michael Bay would love.
"Jeez, it's a straight up anime fight up there." Sakura says before continuing on her path.
The unfinished building is nearly ruined when it begins to melt from a pissed off Natsu's intense flames, as he begins to burst out of the fallen debris he was buried under.
Each step the salamander takes leaves melted footprints and steam behind.
SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!
Suddenly, over a dozen clones burst out of the debris, catching Natsu of guard, but he manages to burn them all with his signature-
"FIRE DRAGON BREATH!"
Natsu shouts, doing a 360 against all the clones, drawing like moths to flames.
Suddenly...
POW!
Naruto emerges from the floor and shoots Natsu with vicious uppercuts similar to what he did to Neji in the Chunin exams.
After sending the fire mage to the ground, Naruto begins to sweat.
Even though Naruto's chakra is protecting him from such high levels of heat from Natsu, some of it can seep through it like that of a water leak due to the fire's magical supernatural properties.
Growing weary of this fight, Naruto intends to finish the downed salamander by pinning him to the ground and uses a lava style rasengan.
"So you like playing with fire huh?"
"HAVE SOME OF MINE!"
"RASENGAN!"
With full force, Naruto dives his spiraling hot sphere down on Natsu's face!
But...
*SLURP*
"Eh.." Naruto said, dumbfounded after his rasengan was slurped up by Natsu as though it was spaghetti.
"HOT DAMN...That was delicious!"
"Thanks!" Said an excited Natsu, who is now fully healed and begins to power up yet again, the burst was strong enough to force Naruto off and send him flying out of the building and crashing into the middle of the street!
The groggy Naruto struggles to get back up after such an unexpected and unintentional power boost he gave to his enemy.
To make matters worse, the ninja's arm is beginning to melt crumble apart from both Natsu's extreme heat and damaged it took from clashing it with his first earlier.
Finally managing to get on one knee with the scratches and burn marks on his face and body slowly healing, Naruto looks up as the building falls apart completely by Natsu's new fire magic infused with chakra.
"This is bad... Kurama, wake up already, I'm in a corner!" Naruto shouts, but after all the time that has passed, Kurama still doesn't respond.
Left with no other option, Naruto enters Sage Mode as Natsu slowly walks closer to him and enters the Dragon Force.
Before this possible town busting level fight can continue, a green portal opens up near Natsu.
Natsu sighs in annoyance and reverts back to his regular form.
"Welp, it's been fun, but that's my cue to go." Said Natsu.
"But don't think this is over, let's put a bookmark on it until further notice!"
Naruto is confused, but smirks, saying-
"And what's stopping me from just kickin' your ass anyway?"
"Heh...well I'm not the sharpest fang in the dragon's mouth, but you're not going to take me down that easily if you're gonna keep holding back."
Naruto's eyes widened.
"I knew it." Natsu says, and shrugs.
"But hey, I was mostly holding back too so my friends wouldn't get hurt, and I'm betting it's the same for you too."
"You're makin' a lot of assumptions, spiky." Said Naruto.
"I don't need to, your body language from the fight said it all." Natsu says as he walks his way to the portal.
Had the two fighters not held back against each other, there's no telling how the outcome would've turned out, but one thing is for certain; the town would most likely be destroyed.
"See ya' around-"
Natsu walks into the portal, but moments later, he casually sticks his head back out.
"What's your name?" Natsu said with a deadpan look on his face.
"Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto says with confidence, as always.
"Cool name, water-boy, I'm Natsu Dragneel from Fair- I mean of the Black Dragon."
"So don't fo-AH!"
The portal closes around Natsu's neck before he disappears completely along with the portal.
Naruto lets a sigh of relief out, even though he was prepared, the ninja did not want to drag out the fight any longer at the risk of causing serious damage in town, getting Sakura and Tails caught in the crossfire.
Speaking of whom...
*HONK-HONK*
The black BMW Kira and her men were in to pulls up toward Naruto.
"Hey, buddy, can ya' stand?" Star Lord Asked.
"Yeah..."
Naruto says as he gets up.
"Well let's go for a ride, your friend here will tell ya' how much of a nice and honest person I am."
Naruto looks at Sakura, who is sitting in the front seat.
"We can trust him, he went out of his way to patch up Tails when he could've ran away."
Assures Sakura.
Despite knowing each other for half a day now, Naruto trusts Sakura's judgment and gets into the backseat of the car with an unconscious Tails laying across from him.
The car then pulls off as the fire truck,ambulance, and two brave enough cop cars finally begin to show up some moments later.
Jill, having seen all the action reports back to Chris in the earpiece.
"I hope all that was filmed, describing that chaos in words won't do it any justice."
"But Quill's safe for now and his friends left us with a few of the members, most of whom have been incapacitated with the rest being K.I.A."
"Understood, Jill out-"
"Excuse me, Miss Officer!?"
Jill's eyes widen in shock when she meets eyes with an adorable pink hedgehog named Amy Rose.
"Do you know where I can find a Sonic around here?"
"I'm looking for Sonic and I heard he was last spotted in Sonic."
Still processing the fact that she's talking to a video game character, Jill can't help but respond with a -
"Come again?"
