Within the Lamperouge Suite...
Geass…
They couldn't believe what they had read from the files, it was impossible! Geass! The Legend of Long Ago in Britannia. The power of Gods that could create, shape, and bend the world and other worlds to their will. Such power would both be a blessing and a curse. Those who have such things would be doomed to a life of loneliness, fear, madness, evil, and destruction. But… those were just old legends, right? Stories from long, long ago warn people of the dangers of power and greed. No such power exists… and yet… there was Lelouch and his research on such things.
"I don't believe it. This-this can't be true." Chiba gasped in shock at the knowledge on the drive.
"And yet here it is, in detail." Todou breathed as he looked at the videos, the pictures, and the information that their leader Zero poured into this drive.
"Woah, this is nuts. Geass and C.C. that green-haired girl with Lulu-."
"Don't call our leader Lulu. Address them as Zero." Todou sternly advised.
"…With Zero was the witch who saved her life with that power." Tamaki breathed.
"She did more than that. It seemed that she cursed him with Geass, too." Kallen added as she was angry with .C.C., "She didn't even give him any information on how to use this power, and from what Zero wrote, that power is now out of control to the point that 'an eyepatch will be required as contacts will eventually burn from the Power of Kings.' She did this to Zero."
"Do you think… Zero geassed us?" Rakshata wondered then noticed a listing, "Look, there's a list of names and commands of every person Lelouch Geassed."
"Let's look then," Ohgi demanded as he wanted to know every little detail.
It was a long list, with details of the geass, including the 'Live' Geass for Suzaku and the accidental geass for Euphie to bring peaches, but it seemed the only Black Knight Geassed was Kallen.
"What was the Geass?" Kallen questioned as Todou clicked on her names for details.
'Information on why she joined the rebellion and who she really was.'
"That's it?" Ohgi asked.
"That's it."
"She couldn't give anymore since she could only do 'one command at a time'." Rakshata answered, "Wow, she's pretty thorough on her Geass and… look not just hers. Look down below."
Todou then scrolled down to see there was another Geass User placed under Lelouch.
"Mao."
"Wait, there's more than one Geass User?!"
"From what Lelouch was researching, there could be a lot more. Even more people like .C.C."
"Keep looking into it. I want every detail about Geass, Code, and everything else." Ohgi ordered, feeling very unnerved, "This is more than just Zero's secret. I have a feeling that this 'Geass' is at the center of this war and maybe all of our problems…"
"I hope that's not the case. I really hope so." Todou breathed as they continued to look into to drive, "After this, let us seek C.C. She may help us learn more about this, though I don't know how cooperative she could be."
In Lelouch's room…
Lelouch was twitching in his sleep while his sisters and boyfriend were trying to soothe him.
"Bomb… Bomb… Euphie get down…" Lelouch muttered while Suzaku was placing a damp rag on his forehead.
"It's okay, Lulu. There's no more bomb, no more weapons. You're home safe." Suzaku whispered to the sleeping hero.
"Nii-san, it's okay. You save her. You saved everyone." Nunnally whispered too then saw Euphie crying, "Euphie?"
"This is all my fault. Lelouch is suffering and the people-."
"Euphie, none of this is your fault. Blame the Rising Sun Syndicate and the Golden Imperial Group for this."
That was when Lelouch bolted upwards screaming, "RISING SUN SYNDICATE! TRAITORS!"
Suzaku and Nunnally then tried to calm Lelouch.
"Lelouch! Lelouch! Luicia!"
Lelouch then finally came to his senses and lay back in his bed. Suzaku held on to his frail hand with gentleness.
"I'm okay… I'm okay." Lelouch muttered while trying to get over a headache, "Just a bad dream."
"Lulu, what do you mean that the syndicate betrayed you?" Suzaku asked trying to figure it out.
"Big Brother, are they-?" Nunnally wondered with deep worry.
"I should have made sure they were through. This error is on me." Lelouch confessed with frustration, "Looks like they and the emperor made a deal of some sort… figures."
"What?" Suzaku gasped.
"Suzu, speak with the Black Knights. Tell them what is truly going on. Strange how in my state and fevers I was able to figure it out."
"Of course. I'll also bring back some deserts and-."
Suddenly, everything froze except for Lelouch as he felt cold.
"Suzu? Nunna? Euphie? What's-what's going on? Is this from the sedatives?" Lelouch questioned his own mind as nothing felt real right now.
Then… a person appeared from nowhere with a strange puzzle box in their hands.
All they would say was, "Excogigate Embox… the key… Excogigate Embox…"
"Who are you? What are you?"
"Excogigate Embox… the key… Excogigate Embox…"
They were moving closer and closer to the bedside.
"Excogigate Embox… the key… Excogigate Embox…"
Then without any warning, the box was shoved straight into Lelouch's being as he screamed in pain before passing out!
"Protect it well."
Then the man was gone, and time unfroze.
"-tea with- Lulu?"
Suzaku rushed to Lelouch's bedside and looked at his pale face.
"Big brother?" Nunnally gasped not knowing what was going on.
"Go get Sakyo, it may be the sedatives, but we need to be sure." Suzaku advised, "I need to speak with the black knights about their old comrades."
"Of course, Suzu." Euphie nodded and then left the room.
Outside the estate…
The figure returned to the others while C.C. was waiting for them.
"Is it done?" One of the hooded ones wondered.
"Yes, the Excogigate Embox is secured with the child." The other nodded.
"You have no right to interfere with my contract and myself."
"No, we have every right since this disaster was your doing, Sister. We are forced to clean up your mess once again." The hooded ones sneered.
"The boy will be more than enough to challenge the king, but the order will protect him. Especially that other… they will be a problem."
"Nothing that the Brotherhood could not resolve. Lelouch will know of his role in this in time. But it is not the time yet. For now… we will let things continue as they are."
"I don't like this." The green-haired girl crossed her arms to the others.
"And we do not care. Don't forget that this is all happening thanks to you. If you had not interfered with the lives of the twins, none of this would be happening."
"Yes, you gave them dangerous knowledge and put all of our existence at risk, not just the mortals."
"Stay out of our way and let this be resolved. Remember, you are no match for our combined strength, Sister. You have already been punished for your crimes once before."
"Yes… I know."
"… Is it your endless fate you worry about or his short one?"
C.C. said nothing and looked away, unable to lie to them.
"Oh, so after all this time… your heart has been rekindled for him. How sweet! Who knew you were still able to love after all this time? Don't worry about the boy. We will not allow him to die. At least not until his roll is complete."
"Dying is not the only thing I fear."
Then the hooded people were gone, leaving C.C. alone with her thoughts, trying to harden herself once again.
