Magna guided Asta to his new room, and the sight of it overwhelmed the grey-haired boy. Tears of joy flowed from his eyes as he whispered, 'My own room.' He couldn't help but take in every detail, his heart brimming with gratitude.

It was a small room with a tiny single bed, a writing desk and a chest of drawers next to it.

While the room was dark, it had a window, and it was full of dust and cobwebs.

"What is it," Magna asked as he looked at the new knight.

"This is the first room that I've ever had to myself, as I was always sharing with my siblings in the orphanage and making sure that they had enough room to sleep," Asta told him as Magna nodded at his junior.

"Fair enough. I had the same in my home house," he told Asta before smiling down at him. Don't forget to write a letter to them back there," he said to Asta.

"Got ya," The younger boy said before cleaning the room that would be his.

Golden Dawn Base

Yuno was being shown her room by one of the older female knights before she was given a smile. "Now, if there's anything that you need, do not hesitate to ask. All right," she said as Yuno nodded.

"Yes, ma'am," Yuno said as the woman walked out.

Yuno looked around her room to find that it contained high-end furniture and expensive equipment.

Her bed looked to fit three people with pristine white sheets.

Next to that was a large wardrobe and a vanity cabinet.

A writing desk was off by a large window. "I guess I should start to write something," she muttered as she walked.

The Next Day, Black Bulls Bace, Asta's Quarters

Asta woke up with a chibi version of Liebe on his head, still fast asleep.

Asta placed the chibi Liebe on his bed.

He went to one of the birds and gave them a letter before he went outside, pulled out one of his swords, and started training.

After a few minutes, he was joined by Yami, who began to go through his training.

"So what magic do you know," Yami asked his nephew.

"True Spirit Magic, Devil Magic, Anti-Magic, Dragon Slayer Magic, Fire Dragon Salyer Magic, Fire Magic, Earth Dragon Slayer Magic, Earth Magic, Sand Magic, Sealing Magic, and Alchemy," Asta told his uncle as he swung his giant sword.

"The elemental magic is because of the spirits you've infused with," Yami asked, and Asta nodded.

"That's right, and Alchemy is something from my ancestral home and so I use it every now and then," Asta said as Yami nodded.

"I understand; I'm the same," Yami said as Asta looked at his uncle. I always use a Katana. You see, they are made in Hino Country, and I make sure that I ship over the equipment needed to maintain them," he told Asta.

"So like the Wado," Asta asked his captain, who nodded.

"That's right, but Wado is a sword passed down in our family, and it's a tradition to pass it on to your first son," Yami said with a smile as he looked down. Now call it out, and I'll teach you how to use it properly," Asta said as he smiled brightly and bowed before calling out the Wado and following through on what Yami showed him.

Forsaken Realm, Hage, Orphanage Church

Father Orsi was sweeping outside when two birds flew through two portals in the sky and dropped letters to him.

He thanked the birds before they flew off.

He called everyone, even the new nun.

She was a relatively pale-skinned woman with brown hair.

Her bangs are slightly parted to the right side, covering most of her left brow.

She also has kind blue eyes lined with long lashes, a nun's habit, and a gold cross on a gold bead necklace.

"It seems that Asta and Yuno sent mail; I'll read Asta's first," Nash said as he handed Yuno's letter to Father Orsi.

"Good, good," He said as he opened the letter while Nash read the letter that Asta sent, "Well it seems that everything is alright with Yuno and she in apart of the Golden Dawn, and she said that Asta and Lily are apart of the same knight sqoud," Orsi said.

"Asta says the same, and he's in the same knight squad that his uncle is the captain of," Nash said as the other children looked happy, as did Orsi.

"That's good. He now has family, but is it from his mother or father?" the young boy asked.

"Father, and from what I rember from what Liebe said that Asta also has an aunt, but she lives in Hino Country," Recca said over Nash's shoulder.

That made the preacher sigh as the nun looked at him. "What is it, father?" she asked him.

"Jun, for all we know, Asta might be the last of his family and the last Amestrian alive as I gathered all the informaion I had and it all said that everyone in that county was killed over night," Orsi said as Jun covered her mouth in shock.

"Oh, that poor boy," She muttered, looking sad for him.

Orsi, seeing everyone's sad mood, went and got a broom. "How about a few of us go out and tell Hage about our Magic Knights?" Orsi said. The two youngest nodded, and they followed him. Sister Jun helped them onto the broom, and the three flew off.

"Well done you two, I am gland you two have found your place in the world and I am sure Asta that you will find your family," Orsi said as he moved over to tell the village.

Common Realm, Kikka, Black Bulls Bace

After he had finished training with his uncle, Asta walked back in as he was found by Magna, "Hey, Asta, it time that I give you the grand tour of our bace," He said as Asta nodded.

"You got it," Asta said before wading into a pillar. "Was this piller here before," he asked, his face in the pillar.

"No, but don't worry; you're not going crazy," Magna said as he walked past the pillar; you see, this place moves around a lot," Magna told him.

"Oh right," Asta said as he pulled his face away from the pillar of bricks, "So were we going first," Asta asked before Lily walked over.

"Oh, Charmy told me to meet you here," she said as Magna nodded.

"Right, and we were just waiting for you sister," Magna said as he started to lead the holy and demonic magic users around the base of the Black Bulls.

The first room they entered was the dining hall and kitchen area, with four large, long tables with benches.

And they found Charmy, who was gorging herself on the cake.

"This is the dining hall what do you think, rediculusly huge right," Magna asked them.

"Are you kidding? It's enormous," Asta said, with Lily nodding.

Then, they walked up to the communal bath. "Here is our bath, man and woman bathing together," Magna said as Asta and Lily looked in and saw that there were two tubs.

One is on the right, and one is on the left.

And they had roaring gargoyles for water spouts that sent water jets into the tubs.

Then they walked over to a hallway covered in wires, and Asta could feel the magic from the corridor. "Oh, is this the corridor to the women's rooms?" Lily said as Magna nodded.

"Rightamungo, and it's armed with Trap Magic, so that means that if you arn't given accsses by the girls or Yami then you can't walk down there," Magna said as Asta nodded.

They then walked along to a small set of doors, and Asta held his nose, "These but be the toilets," He said as Magna nodded.

"Yep," He said as he led them away.

The next stop was the basement, where behind a large set of iron bars were giant creatures that roared and shouted at the oncoming people.

"This is the beast room, where your uncle keeps his pets," Magna said as one of them roared.

So, Asta roared back.

And his was louder.

Magna looked shocked at the roar coming out of Asta, while Lily felt hot under the collar because of the look and the noise he was making.

On the other hand, the beasts moved away from the bars, and some started whimpering at the noise once he cut it off.

"Let me set a ground rule," Asta growled as the beasts looked at him.

"I'm the strongest beast here in this room, got it," Asta said, as the visage of the demonic dragon formed behind him, glaring at the beasts in the cage.

The animals nodded, feeling that they were close to an alpha.

They moved back upstairs, opened a door, and found a small room with shelves of books. "The Black Bull's Library," Magna said with a smile.

The next room was filled with different types of equipment, "This is the training room and thought that door was the reck room," Magna told them as he pointed to the door in a corner.

He then started to walk down another hallway before stopping and did the same with Lily and Asta.

The reason was that they had seen someone.

The girl joined at the same time as Asta and Lily.

They saw a young woman with a slender build and pink eyes.

She has long, silver-coloured hair, usually tied in pigtails, with centre bangs over her forehead.

Additionally, she wore purple stud earrings with a cross-fleury fitchy shape and a silver bracelet on her left wrist.

She wears a sleeveless, backless, short purple dress covered by a silver-coloured blazer that has a backless design with sleeves attached at the back that extend slightly beyond her elbows with gold-coloured cuffs with a pair of pins that hold a family crest attached to it around her collarbone area and the blazer had frilly edges and a rounded tailcoat that extends down to her knees and the blazer extends up to her neck where it has frilly edges and is held together by a gold locket.

She wears a brown leather belt that supports her pouch with a similar colour and gold ornaments at its corners.

The pouch is on her right side and contains her grimoire.

She also wears silver-coloured leg warmers, a gold-coloured cuff at both ends and sandals.

Like Asta, Lily, and Magna, she had the Black Bull squad robe around her shoulders.

"She the other new girl here at the Black Bulls," Magna said as Asta walked forward with his hand out.

"Hi, I'm Asta; it's nice to meet you," he said, and Lily smiled slightly at her fellow new girl.

"Hello, I'm Sister Lily Aquaria. It is good to meet a fellow new member of this Squad," Lily said as she held out her hand, "And by the feel of your magic, you're a Water Mage as well," she added as the girl looked at them.

She turned her head up at the two of them. "Don't speak to be so common to me," she told them before gently touching her chest as if regal. I am Noelle Silva, of the noble house of Silva," Noelle introduced herself to them as Asta looked shocked.

"Your nobility," He asked, shocked as Magna looked at Asta with a raised brow.

"Aren't you the son of a Queen," He asked as the Spirit of Fire formed beside him.

"That he is but he was raised in the world of a commoner," She said as Magna nodded at the primordial Spirit.

"Right," He said before looking at Noelle.

Noelle looked at Asta with an elegantly raised eyebrow.

"Then it seems that you are slightly above an insect in my eyes," Noelle said as she looked at the short boy.

"Hey, we joined the Magic Knights at the same time so you being nobility and me being royalty means nothing, we are the same here," Asta said as Lily nodded.

"You tell her Asta," Magna said as Noelle narrowed her eyes at Asta.

"We are not the same, and I'll show you with the differance in our magic power," Noelle said as an orb of water formed in her hand.

And she shot it at Asta.

But it turned and hit Magna and sent him into a wall.

"Dame it, he was right there, how could I miss," Noelle thought before she scoffed and turned away from Magna.

"Well, don't you have guts," Magna said as he got up and put his shades back on.

"You attacked a senior member of this squad," he growled at her.

But she did not care.

"You should not have stood there, if you—""You can't conrol your power and magic," Lily said, cutting off Noelle, who looked shocked as she looked at the nun.

"How did you know," Noelle asked with fear.

"It's because of me and our bond," Kufel, in chibi form, said as she and Leibi flew over to their hosts.

"But it seems that you are missing a focus of your magic to help you," Kufel said as Noelle and Lily looked confused.

"What do you mean because of our bond," Lily asked the angel as she sat on Liliy's shoulder.

"And what do you mean that I need a focus," The noble asked the angel.

"What she means, girl, is that you have too much magic for a human your age, and that means that the power and control you have is shoddy at best," Liebe said in his chibi form as he sat on Asta's head. So you would need something in the meantime to focus on and use it as a guide for your magic," The Anti-Magic Devil said as Noelle looked shocked by what was told to her before she looked at her hands.

"And for you Lily our bond grants you more than just Holy Magic, and if you would like I can train you in that," Kufel said as Lily's Grimoire floated up to her, and she flipped through the pages.

"How do I find a focus," Noelle asked as Kufel looked at the girl with a raised brow.

"Have you not tried a wand," Asta asked her as she looked at him with shock over her face, "Evidently not," He said as he shook his head.

Noelle hung her head, not thinking that before she heard something that shocked her, "Spirit of Rain, if we integrate, would I be able to help her," Asta asked as the water spirit formed next to him.

"It is possible," He said as Noelle looked shocked at what Asta said.

"Your willing to help me," She asked him as Asta nodded.

"We were squad mates, so it makes sense that I would want to help you out," Asta said as Noelle looked shocked at what he said as he walked past her. So come on," he told her as he led Noelle away.

Magna looked shocked before he smiled and gave out a laugh, "So that was what was stuck in her head," He muttered as Lily looked at him confused, "When she arrived last night, Vanessa said that something was eating away at her and I think that some of her family didn't even try to help or even all of them," Magna said as Lily nodded.

"I see," she said as she shook her head, "That pour girl," Lily said as she looked at Magna, held out her hand, and pulled the water off him.

"Thank you, sister," he told her as they continued the tour.

"Let's tell the others that house two is going to be training," Magna told her as Lily nodded, and the two walked on.

Outside Training Ground

Asta and Noelle walked into a vast open space surrounded by trees. Asta stood far from Noelle.

"What are we doing out here," she asked him with a huff.

"Were, out here so that if you lose control you don't flood the base," Asta said as Noelle's cheeks pinked.

"Oh," She said as she looked away from him.

"Right then," Asta said as the grimoire started to float up, "Spirit of Rain Spirit Ball Mode," Asta called out to another spirit as he held his hand up to the sky.

The giant form of the Spirit of Rain was called out.

He was also the same size as the Spirit of Fire and the Spirit of Earth, with a large, slender blue body and a large hood over his head.

His arms and legs were thin. His arms had rounded fins that came off the arm, and white markings covered this Spirit.

Over his head was a hood with a large circle on top.

The Spirit of Rain also turned into his ball mode, with a flaming tail, a hood, and a circle on top of it.

"Spirit Integration," Asta called out as he shoved the Spirit into his body.

Asta gained markings over his body like the other two times, but a circle appeared between his eyes.

Asta's grimoire gained another colour, a blue aura.

"Asta: S.O.R Mode," Asta called out.

Noelle looked at him, and she gasped when she saw his eyes.

His eyes gave the impression that he was blind.

"Are you ready," Asta asked, and Noelle nodded as she started gathering water with her magic.

Black Bull's Base, Main Hall

"So that nephew of mine is helping out that girl," Yami asked as Magna nodded.

"That's right, captain," Magna said as Yami sighed.

"I didn't know she had this much trouble with her magic," he said as he breathed a small jet of smoke from his mouth.

"But it does make sense if you think about it," he said as the others of the Black Bulls looked at him.

"What do you mean Captain," Finral asked as he looked at Yami.

"Her last name is Silva, and they are a bunch of Pricks that lead the Silver Eagles, and the current captain wanted Asta in his Squad and not his own sister," Yami said with a sigh as Lily looked socked.

"Why treat family like that," She asked as Yami looked at her.

"My family was no better but they atlest did not do this shit," He said as Lily looked at him with a raised brow.

"Is that why you killed your clan," Lily asked him as Yami shrugged at her.

"Hey, my sister is still around," Yami said as an explosion filled the air.

Everyone walked outside, and they saw that there was a ball of water that was being sent flying around the base.

This was followed by a giant ball of water shooting into the air and Asta and Noelle's appearance. "So training is not going well," Yami asked as he saw the ball go higher and higher.

"Her power is off the charts, but she just needs a focus," Asta said as he pushed his will into the other balls of water around them, popping them.

And tried to do the same with the giant ball of water.

Emphasis on tried.

"You don't have enough skill with me as with my sister," Spirit of Rain told him.

Asta cursed as the ball started falling back down on them, so Asta turned to Noelle, got an idea, and cancelled the integration.

"Asta what are you doing," Lily said as he called the Spirit of Rain back into a Spirit Ball.

"You'll see," Asta said as his grimoire flipped pages to the True Spirit Magic chapter before the spell appeared.

"Spirit Channeling," Asta said as he pushed the Spirit of Rain into Noelle, who gained the same markings as Asta did, "Rain," He asked.

"Already on my lord," Spirit of Rain said as he started to guide Noelle's power and how he was using himself as a focus for her.

And she slowed the ball of water down.

"Water is the element of change, and like it, you have to adapt to the environment around you as there is water always around you to draw from," Spirit of Rain told Noelle as the ball of water stopped in the air, "To guide the water you first have to know of the flow of the water and which way you need it to go, and when you gain a true focus that will aid you in finding what you need to find the flow," Rain told her as Noelle raised a hand with her fingers out.

Before she clenched her fist, the ball of water started to shrink.

Yami whistled at what he saw.

"When she finds a focus for her magic, she will possibly be indestructible," he said as the ball of water turned into a golf ball-sized ball of water and hovered over Noelle's hand.

Before it shot at a tree and burst through it.

Asta stopped the Spirit Channeling as the Spirit of Rain appeared beside him.

Noelle started to sway, but Asta caught her.

"Well done, kid," Yami said as Noelle looked at him in shock, "And if your brother saw what you needed to be great, you would have been in his Squad, but that brother of yours is a pick and a bastard," Yami told her as she looked around at her fellow Black Bull members, each giving her a smile and encouragement.

And for the first time.

She felt loved and wanted by people, and she started to cry.

"Thank you for accepting me into this Squad," Noelle said with a bow.

"No proble girl," Vanessa said as she helped Noelle to her feet.

Spade Kingdom, Lawton, Castle Grinberryall

Three people sat around a large table waiting for a report.

The first was a tall, slim, middle-aged man with green eyes, black, combed-back hair, and noticeable facial hair.

His most notable feature is a black mark that runs along his forehead.

He wore a black shirt with a high collar, a brown jacket, and a dark blue fur cape with a short white fur mantle.

His black pants are tucked into a pair of black, knee-high boots.

Two black belts wrap around his waist and a third crosses from his left shoulder to his right hip.

The Spade Kingdom insignia is on the belt's buckle around his waist. He also wears a gold crown with tall spikes and red inset jewels.

Then, there was his sister, a woman of medium-length black hair. Her most notable feature is an eyepatch that covers her right eye and is emblazoned with a gold spade symbol.

She was wearing a high-collared brown vest and a matching short skirt.

She wears a wide, black belt buckled at her waist and hangs her grimoire pouch in the back.

She also has a pair of belts forming an X on her chest, and a third belt wraps around her skirt.

Over this, she wears a dark blue fur coat with a short, white fur mantle on top.

She also wears thigh-high brown boots and a gold tiara with five spikes and red jewels at the base of each spike.

The final person in the room was another man.

He was a tall man with black, messy hair.

His most notable feature is a black, cross-shaped mark on the left side of his forehead, extending across his left eye.

Zenon wears a black shirt with a high collar and pants that tuck into brown boots.

Additionally, he wears a dark blue fur coat with a short, light grey fur mantle on top.

The back of the mantle is emblazoned with a spade symbol.

"So Mephis is not back yet," The woman asked as she sighed.

"Oh, calm down, Vanica; we will get that report soon," the first man said before a bat made of black sand flew in.

"See," he said as the second man looked over.

"Say your report," he told the bat as it turned into the goat demon Asta had killed.

"One of the heirs of Amestris is in the Clover Kingdom," He said to them.
