Chapter 3

Michonne spent the remainder of her day pampering herself until it was time to go to work, she thought about calling in sick but didn't want to ruin her perfect attendance, she got up from the couch and put on her uniform. She went to the kitchen to pack lunch along with some snacks for the overnight shift. She went to set her rumba to auto clean before leaving her home. On her drive to work she noticed someone running a red light and immediately started her pursuit of the vehicle, after 5 minutes the car pulled over, Michonne pulled right up behind them with her lights. She walked up to the driver's side door and saw it was Morgan.

Morgan smiled at her and exhaled a sigh of relief chuckling to himself.

Michonne: what's so funny

I hoped it was you he said. Michonne looked at him confused.

I saw your cruiser and decided to take a risk, he said in a flirty tone.

Michonne looked at him with flirty eyes and said license and registration please.

Morgan did as was told and gave her his info, he watched her walk away swaying her hips and biting his lip.

Michonne proceeded to conduct the stop as usual and wrote morgan a ticket, after some extensive flirting ending with her giving him her number and adding him of myspace.

As Michonne rushed into the precinct she took notice of how empty it was and how nobody was doing anything. Once she was clocked in, she went to the kitchen to put her lunch away afterwards she went the bathroom to tie her locs up in a bun to look more "professional" she rolled her eyes remembering the conversation she had with Hershel about workplace dress code.

After she got herself situated, she went to her desk and kicked her feet up ready for a long night.

Rick and Lori were out having a nice night out rekindling their love for each other.

Rick this place is beautiful said Lori, as she looked at the menu, she noticed there were no prices listed, rick there's no prices?

Rick looked at his menu taking notice.

Hmm must be something fancy restaurants do; he smirked and took his wife's hand in his and kissed her hand. Get whatever you want honey.

Lori blushed and kissed ricks hand throughout the evening. Lori became increasingly intoxicated and more unhinged.

The waiters took notice of Lori's increasing intoxication and gave Rick the check along with a glass of water, rick smiled pleasantly looking at the bill 250.64 cents + gratuity. Rick gulped noticeably and paid the bill with his credit card.

Rick took Lori's hand to lead her out of the restaurant on their way out the hostess a teenage girl whose nametag read Beth, bid them goodnight and to have nice evening.

Lori drunkenly took offence to the way the young teen was looking at rick and accusing her of flirting with rick, creating a scene, she started yelling at her that shh needs to get her manager. Rick managed to pick Lori up and apologized for her outburst while carrying her out to the car he put her down and watched her stumble a little, he shook his head and opened her door helping into her seat as Lori slurred "I love you's" and "you don't care about us" to him. He got in the driver side taking his seat. Before pulling off he made sure Lori put on her seatbelt and drove home disappointed at how the night is ending.

Back at the precinct Andrea, Michonne, Maggie, and Sasha sit around playing catch with Andrea's stress ball and talking.

Sasha: chonne who was that guy you were grinding on before sheriff dick swooped in? she asked cocking her eyebrow and smirking.

Michonne: hes cute right his name is morgan and omg he's fine, she bites her lips, he the reason I was late coming in today, this fool ran a red light and was just hoping it was me who pulled him over. she said chuckling in disbelief.

Maggie: wait he purposely broke the law just to talk to you?

Sasha: that man is down bad for you, you know he was watching you practically all-night Friday?

Michonne: speaking of Friday night Andrea where did you go off too with Shane?

Andrea: oh, don't even the real question is why were you dancing all up on rick? I thought you hated him since he took the promotion.

Michonne started blushing and threw the soft ball at Andrea and all the women start teasing Michonne in a playful manner.

Michonne: rick and I are just friends besides he's married and has a kid!

Maggie: I don't know he could get married so young.

Sasha: that's just the way some things work out. Me and Abraham got married when I was only 24 and I love him more each day.

Sasha smiled looking at her ring.

Andrea faked a gag at Sasha's sentimental words, effectively ruining the moment.

Michonne looked at Andrea and shook her head laughing, Maggie gave her an annoyed look shaking her head.

I think that's sweet sash said Maggie.

Maggie: How did you know he was the one? How did you meet?

Sasha: We were in the coast guard and one day in the lunchroom I tripped and spilled my food. He helped me pick up my lunch and we locked eyes once I seen those blue eyes I was taken but then he smiled and said the dumbest shit I've ever heard. This fool looks at me and says "I been to eight county fairs and one goat rodeo, and I've never seen anyone heaven or hell fine as you" than he proceeds to introduce himself and followed me around Sasha recalled the story of her meeting Abraham and chuckled.

Michonne watched the two-talk reminiscing on how she a rick first met.
