Present Day

Aurora's POV

I felt a large pit in my stomach, as we approached the Republic Star Destroyer, and landed the ship in the hangar. I was petrified of what was going to occur. I hadn't seen my brother, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka in almost a year, and I didn't necessarily leave Coruscant in a good way. Looking back, I probably, shouldn't have left the way I did…but at the time, I was rageful, and all I wanted to do, was get revenge on everyone I could…I still do.

"You alright?" Zara asked putting a hand on my shoulder.

I sighed as I turned around to face her, I'd given her a spare set of clothes, as I didn't want her trying to fight someone in a gown (I've tried it…it's not fun). She's essentially wearing the same thing I am, only this time, her vest is blue. (A/N: Think Black Widow in Infinity War for both Aurora and Zara's Beskar woven suits, they're not wearing Beskar armor yet.)

I shrugged. "I guess, nervous at the reaction I'll get."

She gave me a small smile. "You'll be fine."

"You both ready?" Alex asked as he walked up to us.

We both nodded, as he hit the button, to open the hatch of the ramp. As soon as the hangar was visible, and we started to walk down it, my heartrate skyrocketed, as I fully expected to be met by every single person who probably has me on their shit list right now. But it turns out, none of them were there to greet us. Instead, a clone was.

Jesse.

Instead of walking up to me…he walked up to Zara.

"Princess Aurora." He began bowing to Zara. "Welcome back and aboard the Resolute, I hope your various travels have…"

I cleared my throat, making Jesse, Alex, and Zara urn towards me.

"Jesse, this is Zara, my cousin and former body double." I explained, making his eyes widen at his mistake.

"My apologies, Your Royal Highness." He immediately replied before bowing to me, making me roll my eyes. "I didn't recognize you."

I smiled. "I get that a lot these days. Where's Skywalker?"

"General's Skywalker and Kenobi are on the bridge in the middle of a briefing with Lady Bo-Katan Kryze." He explained making me walk right past him.

"Thank you!" I called back as I started to head up the bridge with Alex and Zara following me.

After a while, Alex broke the silence.

"I can't believe he thought you were Zara." He began as they followed me down various hallways.

I rolled my eyes. "I should've put on a blonde wig, so they'd know it was me."

"I highly doubt it." Zara began with a laugh. "Or did you forget we look alike."

"Sometimes I can't tell you two apart." Alex explained truthfully. "Now I can."

Zara and I rolled our eyes as we came in front of a door. I stopped in my tracks and turned around.

"Both of you, remain calm." I explained.

"That goes for you too." Zara said in the same expressive tone.

"No golden eyes." Alex explained crossing his arms.

I rolled my eyes as I turned around. "I'll try my best."

I opened the door, revealing the briefing room version of the bridge. As soon as I opened the door, all eyes were on me. I slowly walked toward the HoloTable, and gently rested my hands against it, as I stood near Ahsoka. Zara stood towards the back, and Alex stood next to me, allowing him to be near Anakin.

All their eyes, except for Bo-Katan's were in shock.

Anakin was at a loss of words, Ahsoka looked like she was going through a mix of emotions as well as Obi-Wan, and my brother, who was in between my aunt and Obi-Wan was smiling grandly at me.

"Nice of you to join us." Bo began with a small smile.

I shrugged and smiled back. "You know me, I like to make an entrance."

"Now that we're all here, can we begin?" Bo asked.

Anakin snapped out of his trance and nodded, pulling up a holographic image of Mandalore.

"Bo-Katan had been tracking Maul's movements for several months. I was able to obtain some transmission codes from the Pykes on Oba Diah, which helped her pinpoint some of his previous locations." Ahsoka explained gesturing to the holographic image.

"What were you doing on Oba Diah?" Anakin asked in both shock and confusion.

It's true, I also wanted to know what she was doing all this time. I did worry about her quite a bit.

She shook her head in annoyance. "That's a long story, and not really relevant right now."

"What is relevant, is that we know Maul is on Mandalore, in the city of Sundari." Bo explained pulling up an image of Sundari.

"You're certain of this?" Obi-Wan asked in curiosity.

"He arrived two days ago." I interjected crossing my arms.

His eyes laid on my and looked me over. He looked concerned, at least for me…but then again, he probably was still in shock that I came back.

He still was high on my shit list.

"So why not take him yourselves?" He asked. "Or to be more specific, what do you want from the Republic?"

I looked to Bo, and she looked back at me. She gave me a small nod, wanting me to go toe-to-toe with my father…not like I would have an issue.

"We don't have the numbers needed for a siege." I explained. "Without a complete lockdown of the city, Maul will escape again. That's what we are proposing a joint operation. If we are successful, you'll have Maul, and I'll have Mandalore."

Anakin and Obi-Wan turned to each other in shock, at the words that came out of my mouth. For the longest time, I never wanted to rule Mandalore, and now, I was telling them I want my planet back. I looked over to my brother and gave him a small smile. He was slightly taller, more so than I am, his hair was darker, and while he was dressed similarly to Alex, and not wearing Jedi Robes, I did notice the lightsaber attached to his belt.

Obi-Wan turned back to us. "If the Republic forces aid you in your assault, it will break treaties that are hundreds of years old. We will effectively be drawn into yet another war."

"If you are concerned about another round of the Mandalorian-Jedi Wars…that is the stupidest reason I have ever heard." I explained.

"The Crown Princess possess the same powers and has the exact same weapon that you all have, along with the prince being the same." Bo explained seeing my point. Besides, what's one more war, anyways?"

Obi-Wan glanced at my brother, before glancing at me, slightly ashamed knowing my point was right.

"Well, we're not finished with our first one yet." Anakin interjected, with sarcasm and annoyance present in his voice.

I rolled my eyes in frustration.

"I will advise to the Jedi Council of this development." Obi-Wan explained and immediately turned around and walked away.

That's it.

I've had it with the bullshit.

I slammed my hand down angrily on the HoloTable, causing it to shake.

"THERE'S NO TIME!" I angrily yelled.

He immediately turned around to face me, alarmed at the anger I had. Deep in the back of his mind, he knew I changed.

"Maul's influence on Mandalore is destroying my people!" I began with anger in my voice. "He murdered my mother, and out of every single person you aimed to protect and save in this galaxy…I thought she meant something to you!"

Anakin's eyes widened, as did Korkie's and Bo's. Everyone in the room knew my mother was a sensitive subject…for me especially. So, for me to bring her up…it meant I was really, really, really, fucking angry.

Which I was.

Obi-Wan's facial expression, as he looked down at the floor. Deep down he knew I was right. He loved my mother; my mother loved him. Korkie and I are proof of that. But would he ever admit it?

No.

"She did." He sighed. "And still does. But I cannot allow my feelings to cloud my judgement. The council will decide what our course of action will be."

I shook my head in annoyance as I looked down at the floor, my hands still on the HoloTable. I heard Bo murmur something before she left the room, and I looked up to in annoyance.

"So, that went well, all things considered." Anakin began with optimism.

I rolled my eyes.

"You two certainly haven't changed." Ahsoka commented.

"Is that a bad thing?" Anakin laughed.

"Depends on who you're asking." I said with a smirk.

He let out another laugh.

"By the way." He began gesturing to my hair. "I like the hair."
I sighed. "It kind of helps when you have a bounty on your head by the Republic."

"I knew that was you." Korkie said walking around the table and pulling me into a hug.

"I figured." I explained ruffling his hair a bit. "Is Geenine here?"

He nodded. "She's with Artoo getting briefed as well."

I nodded. "There's something I need to tell you…and it's a rather private matter."

Anakin gestured to Ahsoka, who left the room, and I glanced around the room as well.

"Come on." I said gesturing to the room. "We need to go somewhere private."

After telling Alex and Zara to find Bo and her buddies, I walked with Korkie down the corridors, catching up on everything he and I missed.

"So, Alex has a brother?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yep. You'll like him, his daughter is nice as well, she calls me Aunt Ro."

He laughed. "That's something I never thought I'd hear…I've missed you."

"I've missed you as well. How have your powers been?" I asked with concern, as I knew how difficult my transition with my powers have been.

"Good. I've been not falling into my anger and have been proceeding in training very well. Obi-Wan says my training is almost complete." He explained.

I sighed as we walked into a quieter portion of the Resolute. I didn't want any Clones or Jedi to hear what I was going to say to my brother. It wasn't the fact that I had anything negative to say to him…it was the nature of the topic that was going to be difficult.

Especially for me.

"Ok, there's a couple of things I need to tell you." I explained. "You may want to sit down for this."

He nodded, sitting down on a small alcove.

I took a deep breath before I started telling him everything I'd been up to, and my research on our powers. I told him all about about Hemlock, and explaining how I was part of Project: Harvester and he was part of Project: Eternal. I also went into explicit detail on how the difference with our projects and why our grandmother suppressed both of our powers for so long, along with how Korkie was kept in Carbonate for 5 years as an infant.

My brother's facial expressions were all over the place. I noticed how tears formed into his eyes at some points, how he sighed in disbelief, along with how his eyebrows furred in confusion on some parts. I also could tell when he was angry at some points as well.

But the worst was still yet to come.

"Is that all you found out?" He asked with a small sigh.

"No." I explained.

"Is it better or worse than this?" He sighed again.

I shook my head. "That's for you to decide."

I took a deep breath before gesturing for me to sit down next to him. I sighed and did as I was obliged and took his hands in mine, as I explained the hardest information for me to get through.

How Obi-Wan was our father, and how our grandmother and mother hid his identity from us, in fear that the Jedi would take us away from them, leading to the Crown to go out of our family, and the future of Mandalore out of our hands.

Korkie took his hands out of mine and placed his head in them.

He was in shock.

I read his mind…I know he was in shock.

I put my right hand on his back.

"Are you alright?" I asked with concern.

He nodded before picking his head up. "Yeah, I uh…need to take a walk…let it all sink in."

I nodded. "Ok, come find me when you're ready."

He smiled at me, before giving me a hug. I stood up smiling as he walked away from me. Since I saw him last, he matured so much…he's grown into an incredible individual.

Our mother would be so proud.

Just as I was about to head back down to the hangar a voice caught me in my tracks.

"Are you trying to copy my hair color?" A familiar voice asked.

I sighed as I turned around to look Obi-Wan in the eyes.

I shrugged. "Kinda works, when you're wanted by the Republic."

"I'm sure…Anakin and your brother wanted to lead a galaxy-wide search for you." He began. "They were worried about you."

"I'm sure." I replied coldly.

"What's wrong?" He asked with concern.

I was furious to the point where I didn't know if he was lying or telling the truth.

"Nothing." I lied crossing my arms.

"Aurora, I know you're lying…I can read your mind…what is wrong?" He questioned with sincerity.

I closed my eyes and sighed.

Here we go.

The long-awaited conversation.

Buckle your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen…this is going to be a good one.

"When were you going to tell me that you're my father?"
