In the streets of Paris...

Chloe ran towards the Eiffel Tower and didn't let up. Her legs hurt so much, but she didn't care about that. She had to get to Ladybug before Chrysalis pulled anything on them. Knowing Lila, she would definitely do something to think they got her back.

She tripped a little bit when she came across something on the ground. It looked like Uraraka's gauntlet.

Someone must've dropped it when they were going after her. Chloe picked it up and looked at it more closely. It looked a little big and bulky for a superhero costume, and she would definitely never wear something as ugly as this.

But bringing this to them make things a little easier on them. She hugged close to her and continued running the heroes. Chloe eventually could see them around the corner in the distance. Her eyes lit up as she picked up the pace to catch up with them. Then she noticed Midoriya on the floor, crying.

She wanted to roll her eyes at how pathetic he looked, but then she noticed that Uraraka was no where to be seen. She could tell that Chrysalis's plan to use the Dog Miraculous worked. Uraraka was back in HawkMoth's lair.

As she got closer to the group, she got a little nervous that they might surround her. There's no way they were going to trust her right away. She took breath in and out and walked over to them.

"Uraraka, she saw the ball."

She could hear Bakugo talking about Uraraka. He seemed a little upset that they weren't able to get her back.

"She grabbed it because she knew it would take her back over to Chrysalis. I think she wants to stop her from getting to our Japan."

Chloe stopped in her tracks, surprised to hear Uraraka do something so brave. She had to admit, Uraraka was kind of cool. Looking down at the gauntlet, she felt a bit of guilt for treating her so poorly.

"Hey, it's Chloe!" Ashido cried out, "And she has Uraraka's gauntlet!"

Class 1-A rushed over to pin her down and grab the gauntlet. Chloe shut her eyes as she expected to be hit with some weird quirk. But then, nothing happened. Ladybug had her arms out to protect her, and everyone around her stopped.

"Ladybug, what're you doing?!" Iida asked her, "She's on Chrysalis's side!"

Ladybug looked back at her, and Chloe could tell she wasn't here to save her. She was here because her friend needed help. Her eyes looked hurt, like she had done something that she shouldn't have. Ladybug noticed the gauntlet and hoped she was here to give it back.

"Ladybug... I know what I did was wrong," Chloe said to her, "I don't expect you to give me my-- the Bee Miraculous back, but here..."

She handed her the gauntlet, but Ladybug didn't seem to want to take it back. She smiled so brightly back at her.

Ladybug lowered the gauntlet and looked at Chloe so genuinely. Chloe was surprised that she even looked at her like that.

"I don't think I'm the one you should be apologizing to," Ladybug said to her.

Ladybug moved over and subtly pointed towards Midoriya. He was still crying over losing Uraraka to Chrysalis once again. Bakugo stood closest to him, hoping he would pull himself together soon.

Class 1-A watched as Chloe realized what she had to do and felt her shoulders slump. Her eyes rolled without meaning to, but everyone was watching her. They didn't look like they were very happy seeing her.

"Do I really have to?" Chloe asked her, "Can't I just give you the gauntlet and call it even?"

"No. After what you've done to Izuku, he deserves an apology," Ladybug said to her, "He really needs it right now."

Chloe looked back over at the one person she really didn't want to be talking to right now. He didn't even seem to notice that she showed up. She took a deep breath in and out and began walking towards Midoriya. He was sitting on the ground with his back turned, and she had this feeling of running off and never showing her face again.

But she kept going.

Chloe tapped on his shoulder, and he turned around with tears running down his freckled face. The moment he saw Chloe, he had to take a moment to realize it was her.

"Chl-Chloe...?" Midoriya said as he wiped away tears.

Chloe looked behind her and saw Class 1-A and the Parisian's heroes watching her. She felt very weirded out by all of this, so she pretended they weren't here. She looked down at Uraraka's gauntlet and puckered her lips, not sure how to go about this. She cleared her throat, feeling really awkward about this whole thing.

"Umm... Broccoli Boy... I'm sorry for hurting you back there. When I was Dragon Queen, I might've been a little harsh with you," Chloe said, "You're just so easy to make fun of, and..."

Ladybug cleared her throat when Chloe was getting off track.

"Anyway, here... I found this on the street. Someone must've left it behind," Chloe said as she reached out to give him Uraraka's gauntlet.

Cat Noir's ears lowered when he realized he must've left it behind when they were rushing to get back to the school. When Dragon Queen showed up.

Midoriya looked at the gauntlet with sparkling eyes, hoping Uraraka was okay. He looked like he was about to cry again, so Chloe gave it to him before any tears came.

"Here, just stop crying. Geez, you're like a fire hose!" Chloe said, "All you do is cry... but..."

Then she remembered what he said to her back at the school. How she was a bully to him and Marinette, but she didn't actually want to hurt anyone. He saw something about her that no one else did.

Chloe crouched down next to him, surprising everyone.

"You know... you kind of reminded me of Ladybug when we were fighting in the school."

Midoriya's eyes widened, not expecting her to say that to him. After all she'd said and done to him, that was definitely surprising. He didn't dare say anything as she kept going.

"Me and Ladybug use to be pretty close, and she trusted me with the Bee Miraculous to stop an akuma... that moment as Dragon Queen and you were trying to get me to stop... I guess you kind of reminded me of what we use to be, and I took it out on you. I'm sorry."

Midoriya's eyes widened with how honest she sounded. He never thought he'd ever hear an apology from her. Even Class 1-A seemed surprised by her apology, especially after what just happened with Uraraka.

"Well? Aren't you going to say anything?" Chloe asked him a little too harshly.

Midoriya blinked at her as he held the gauntlet close to him. He really didn't know what to say, so he just smiled so brightly at her that it almost blinding.

"Chloe, thank you," Midoriya said to her as he bowed, "I really appreciate you coming all of this way just to say that."

"Yeah, well... After disagreeing with what Chrysalis is planning, I didn't think it was for me anyway. Besides, she's so annoying when it comes to your Japan," Chloe said to him, everyone hearing her ramble on about Chrysalis.

"Wait a minute, she mentioned our Japan to you?" Bakugo asked her, "What else did she mention, Ponytail?"

Chloe gave Bakugo a piercing glare when she remembered the nicknames he kept giving her, but then took a deep breath in and out. Midoriya stood up and reached down to help her up. She looked up at him and realized how sweet he was towards her, even though she didn't deserve it. Before she did so, she noticed his hands were covered in scars. For a hero training, he already had quite a few scars. She placed her hand onto his and he helped her up.

"First all, Chrysalis is Lila," Chloe finally told them.

Class 1-A didn't even flinch, but Ladybug was ecstatic to realize that she was right the whole time. Ladybug held back her celebration to let Chloe tell them what she knew.

"Chrysalis is planning on trying to find a way to your Japan by using your Miraculous, Broccoli Bo-- I mean, Izuku. She really seems to have it out for all of you guys. This has nothing to do with Ladybug or Cat Noir."

Ladybug and Cat Noir both looked at Class 1-A, confused as to why Chrysalis was doing this at all. She wasn't interested in their Miraculous, although she might not know about the wish. If she did, she would've taken them already.

"She just wants Izuku's, not ours," Cat Noir repeated, "We've never had this happen before, huh Ladybug?"

"No, this is a first," Ladybug agreed with him, "We might have to go after her once again, kitty."

"But, last time that happened Dragon Queen kind of... you know..." Kirishima said, trailing off with her standing right in front of them.

"Yes, I know. I was Dragon Queen a for minute! No need to gloss over the details," Chloe said to them, "It's not like I'll ever get a Miraculous again. You might as well get some of your other superhero friends to join you."

Ladybug and Cat Noir were so wrapped up in whatever Chrysalis had planned that they forgot to hand out Miraculous to their friends.

"We should head back to the school. They're some friends that might be there already that could help us out," Ladybug said to them with a wink.

Ladybug and Cat Noir took off towards the school, but Ladybug zooming over there pretty quickly. Cat Noir sighed and started running up the wall and onto the roof. Class 1-A headed over to the school as well, but one of them stopped to look back at Chloe.

Midoriya wanted to give her a piggyback ride back to the school, but he didn't have his Miraculous with him. If did, he would've helped her out.

"Deku, hurry up. You're going to be left behind," Bakugo said to him.

Bakugo looked back to see Chloe just standing there, not sure what to do. He could tell she wanted to go back to the school, but was afraid of what everyone might think of her. He let a growl slip out, walked past Midoriya and stood up to Chloe.

"Ponytail, I can give you a ride over there," Bakugo said to her, "Only if you don't yell in my ear."

Chloe looked like she was about to yell back at him, but let it all go and just got on his back. She sat on his back as he propelled himself up into the air and towards the school. Chloe looked like she really wanted to get off of his back right away.

Midoriya held the gauntlet close to him as he looked back at the Eiffel Tower. All he could think about was Uraraka as Zero, and then after all that, she still chose to go back and face Chrysalis alone. He started walking back to the school, looking down at the gauntlet.

"Ochaco... I hope you're okay..."

Another amazing chapter!

This was actually a really good one to write! I liked the idea of Chloe finally going back to the way she used to be in Season 2. I just always thought she was such a better character at that this point in the series. I like where it's heading for Chloe and Midoriya. Obviously she's still not good with names, but she's getting there.

I kind of lost track of what was going on with Uraraka's gauntlet, LOL! I just thought it'd be best for her to find it for Midoriya.
