To my readers- I decided that instead of making 2 huge volumes of A Ketchum's journey, I decided to make them into 4 separate volumes. Volume 1 will contain the Kanto and Johto regions, Volume 2 will contain Hoenn and Sinnoh regions, Volume 3 will contain Unova and Kalos regions, last but not least, Volume 4 will contain Alola and Galar regions.

I want each and every one of you to know that if you personally don't like the way I'm writing the fanfic, then you don't have to read it. I will not reach through my laptop to force you to read any fandoms that I write for because you can probably find a lot better fanfics in those fandoms over mine. Even if you can't find what you're looking for and still don't like the way I write it, then I encourage you to write your own. Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.

Shoutouts:

"Whoah, that smells great!" said Ash, May, Hayley and Max.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu as drool started to form at Meeko's mouth.

Narrator: Still headed toward the first Hoenn Region gym in Rustboro City, Ash, Hayley and friends take a lunch break in the forest. As usual, they're amazed at Brock's ability to whip up delicious food!

Max: You bet we're amazed!

Hayley: I know I am. Have you even tasted Brock's cooking?

Narrator: Uh…no, I havent.

Meeko, looking at Hayley and Max while pointing at the Narrator: Riolu, Riol! Olu!

Brock tastes what he was cooking. "Yep, it's ready." said Brock. "Let's eat, guys!"

"Okay, Torchic." May said. "Lunchtime!"

"Forretress, come and get it!" said Brock.

"Taillow, Treecko!" said Ash. "It's finally time to eat!"

"Ziggy!" said Hayley. "Are you hungry?" Once they were out of their Pokéballs, the Pokémon looked up at their trainers, ready to eat.

"Tor! Forretress. Taillow! Treecko! Zagoon!"

"Torchic?" Torchic asked, looking at Treecko.

"Forretress?" asked Forretress.

"Zigzag." Ziggy said, looking up.

"Treecko!" Treecko said to the others.

"It looks like Treecko might be feelin' a little weird all our other Pokémon." said May.

"'Cause they're all staring." said Max.

"Hey, guys, there's no reason to be suspicious." said Ash.

"Plus, you're making Treecko feel uncomfortable, by staring." said Hayley.

"Torchic?" Torchic asked Hayley.

"If it was Team Rocket, that's one thing, Torchic." Hayley tells it. "But staring at a new friend could be considered rude."

"That's right, Torchic." said May.

"Say hello to Treecko." suggested Ash.

"Forretress." Forretress said as it and the others gathered round.

"Treecko." Treecko said, not wanting to say hello and starts climbing up a tree. "Treecko. Treecko. Treecko."

"Forretress?"

"Treecko, come back." Ash said. "Unless you want to miss lunch."

"Pika, Pika." said Pikachu. Treecko heard Ash and Pikachu but didn't want to come down. Instead, it pulled a new twig from the tree.

"Treecko." it said.

"Uh…."

"Pika."

"You don't think Treecko would rather eat twigs than Brock's famous soup, do you?" asked May.

"I don't think it's about the food." said Max.

"I doubt it's about the food." said Hayley.

"You're both right." said Brock. "Treecko are tree-dweller Pokémon. Plus they're pretty shy, so it's probably just more comfortable up there."

"Oh, yeah." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Meeko was shy at one point." said Hayley.

"Meeko? Shy?" Ash asked his sister. "Meeko was never shy."

"It's true, Hayley." said Brock.

"Treecko." said Treecko, looking at the clouds passing in the sky.

"Yummy." said May, eating the soup. "You should have your own 'Cooking with Brock' show."

"Thanks, May." said Brock.

"Torchic." said Torchic, running around with an apple in its wing.

"What's the deal with your Torchic?" Brock asked May. "It's seems pretty wound up."

"It always gets excited about food but I think it's eating too much." said May.

"Pokémon learn behavior from their trainers." said Max.

"Hmm!" said May, eyes widening.

"Just like Pikachu learned that he can have a bottomless stomach, like Ash." said Hayley, smiling.

"Riolu." snickered Meeko.

"And yet, Meeko learned that she gets hyper from having so much sugar, just like Hayley does." said Brock.

"Pikachu." Pikachu giggled.

"Hey, Treecko, you okay?" Ash called out to his tree-dweller. "You're not gonna sit in that tree all day, are you?"

"I take that as a 'yes'." said Max when Treecko didn't answer.

"Well, all right." said Ash, then picks up Treecko's bowl. "Your lunch is right here if you get hungry."

"Pika, Pika." said Pikachu.

"Treecko." replied Treecko, then sees something rustling in the bushes. "Treecko?"

Sticking its head out of the bushes, a Hoenn snake like Pokémon with fangs looked at the quintet. "Torchic." said Torchic, still running around with its apple. The Pokémon hissed and slithers away.

"Torchic." Torchic said with grapes in its mouth. "Torchic. Torchic. Torchic. Tor."

Suddenly, the Snake Pokémon held its tail out, tripping Torchic, causing it to drop the grapes and the apple. "Tor!" squealed Torchic as it ran after the apple. "Torchic. Torchic. Tor, Tor, Tor. Tor."

Torchic looks up and sees the Snake Pokémon in front of it. "Seviper." it said, hissing at Torchic.

"Tor!" Torchic squealed loudly as Seviper takes Torchic's apple. "Tor, Tor, Tor! Tor, Tor." Just then, Seviper eats the apple. "Torchic, chic, chic!"

Seviper hisses at Torchic. "Tor?" questioned Torchic and Seviper snarls at it. "Tor!"

Out of nowhere, a twig was thrown at the ground, stopping Seviper in its tracks. "Sevipe!" said Seviper, looking up at Treecko.

"Treecko!" said Treecko, kicking Seviper in the head.

"Seviper." said Seviper, confused by Treecko.

"Treecko." Treecko said, protecting Torchic.

"Seviper."

"Treecko." Treecko warned Seviper as it stares it down. "Treecko!"

"Seviper." said Seviper, heading for Torchic.

"Oh?" asked Treecko, looking over its shoulder. Torchic whimpers as Seviper heads for it. The quintet heard Torchic's whimper.

"What was that?" asked Ash.

"My Torchic." said May.

"Pika. Riol." Seviper starts bouncing Torchic on its tail, slowly torturing the small chic Pokémon. "Treecko." Treecko demanded Seviper.

"Seviper." said Seviper, refusing Treecko's request.

"Cut that out." May said to Seviper, gaining its attention.

"What's that?" asked Max.

"Leave my Torchic alone, whatever you are." said May.

"I'll look it up." said Ash.

"Seviper, the Fang Snake Pokémon. Seviper is known for its angry disposition, immobilizing its opponents by wrapping its body around them." Dexter explained.

"I think Torchic could use some help." said Brock.

"That's for sure, but that thing looks really strong." said Max.

"Pikachu, Taillow, lets help Torchic." said Ash.

"Meeko, Ziggy, join in." said Hayley.

"You too, Forretress." said Brock.

"Pika!"

"Taillow!"

"Riolu!

"Zigzagoon!"

"Forretress."

"Seviper." said Seviper, using Haze on the quintet, making them scream.

"Pi! Pika." Pikachu called out.

"Forretress." said Forretress.

"Riolu! Riol." said Meeko.

"This is Seviper's Haze attack." said Brock.

"That's a good name for it." said Max. "Wow."

"Better than Weezing's Smokescreen, I can tell you that." said Hayley.

"Treecko. Treecko." Treecko said, trying to look through Seviper's Haze for the others but then looks up at the tree branches. "Treecko? Treecko." It then climbs up the tree trunk to get a better view. "Treecko, Treecko, Treecko, Treecko, Treecko."

Treecko then sees Seviper, tightly holding Torchic in its tail. "Tree…." said Treecko, jumping from the branch it was on. "Cko!" Seviper hisses as it was hit by Treecko's tail.

"Torchic." squealed Torchic as it fell towards the ground.

"Treecko." said Treecko, catching Torchic before it hit the ground hard.

"Torchic!" May said happily as Treecko brought it over. "Oh, I'm so glad you're okay."

"Torchic."

"Thanks, Treecko." said Ash, proud of Treecko. "Good job."

"Seviper!" hissed Seviper.

"It's coming back." said Brock.

"Treecko?" asked Treecko as Seviper starts to use its poisoned tail. "Tree! Cko."

"Treecko!" Ash called out.

"Oh! Poison Tail." said Max.

"That does it!" said Hayley. "Seviper is going down!"

"Riolu!" screamed Meeko.

"Taillow. Use Wing attack." said Ash.

"Taillow. Taillow." said Taillow as it gets close to Seviper.

"Forretress, try to immobilize Seviper with your Spike attack." said Brock.

"Forretress." said Forretress, sending out spikes.

"Now, Pikachu, Thunderbolt." said Ash.

"Meeko, Vacuum Wave." said Hayley.

"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, sending out Thunderbolt.

"Riol!" said Meeko, releasing Vacuum Wave from her hands. Seviper screamed in pain from both attacks and slithers away into the bushes.

Everyone sighs as they relaxed. "Well, I hope we've seen the last of that thing." said May.

"Treecko. Treecko." said Treecko, grabbing its right shoulder.

"Treecko, are you hurt?" asked Ash.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.

"Tree." said Treecko, struggling to stand up.

"Maybe you should stay down." suggested Brock.

"Cko." Treecko said, taking Brock's advice.

"Treecko, where in your shoulder does it hurt the most?" Hayley asked.

"Olu?" Meeko asked.

"Treecko, Treecko." it said, pointing to the backside of its right shoulder.

"Man, taking that direct hit from Seviper's Poison Tail attack right into a tree? No wonder it's in bad shape." said Max.

"And it was all to rescue you, Torchic." May said to the little Pokémon. "How can we help it?"

"Tor. Torchic." said Torchic.

"I'm pretty sure that I saw a Pokémon center just up ahead." said Brock.

"Just hang in there." Ash said to Treecko as he picks it up. "We're gonna get you fixed up in no time."

"Treecko." said Treecko, gripping its shoulder.

"I've just spotted something that's going to make our day." said Jessie, looking through her binoculars.

"A taco stand with a jacuzzi out back?" asked Meowth.

"I think she's talking about that Seviper and its amazing fighting abilities, so we'll catch that first and then hit the jacuzzi." said James.

"Wobbuffet." Wobbuffet said in agreement.

"There is no jacuzzi." Jessie tells them.

"I get it." said Meowth. "The way that Seviper shut down the twerp's Pikachu and baby twerp's Meeko with its sneaky snaky ways and those sharp fangs and that powerful tail makes it a natural Team Rocket Pokémon."

"Then adding my superior intelligence and devasting good looks to that Seviper's power, nothing could possibly stand in our way." said Jessie.

"Which means all we need now is a plan to catch that Seviper." said James.

"Then we hit the jacuzzi." said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"There's the Pokémon center." said Brock as they ran towards it. "We're almost there."

"Nurse Joy!" Ash called out. "We need some help."

Out in the forest, wild Pokémon were eating when they heard something coming towards them. Peering out of the bushes, Seviper pops out its head. "Zigzagoon!" shouted the Zigzagoon trio, scared out of their wits and ran for cover.

Seviper gobbles up their food in one bite with not a care in the world of the fear it placed in the Zigzagoon. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Meowth said as they watched Seviper eat.

"With those manners, the doctor and everyone else." said James.

"Oh, I can't wait to have such a powerful Pokémon under my complete command." Jessie said with glee.

"Well, we know it has a fondness toward all things fruity, and its headed right for my trap, so it won't be for long." said Meowth.

Seviper stops and hisses, seeing something up ahead. It found the trap Meowth had set for it with a basket full of fruit. Pleased, Seviper slithers towards the fruit basket, unknown about the trap in front of it. "It spotted the fruit." squealed Jessie as she, James and Meowth hid in the bushes.

"Keep moving forward." urged James.

"Now go on and fall in the hole." said Meowth.

Seviper hissed, sensing something and finally spots Meowth's trap. "What's it doing?" Jessie asked Meowth.

"Maybe it don't like the basket?" asked Meowth.

"I told you the pineapple was a bad idea." said James. Finding the trap, Seviper got creative and used its tail to reach the basket, lifting it up. "Seviper." it said, carrying the basket of fruit away.

"That fruit basket wasn't mean as a gift." said Jessie.

"It was expensive, fruit doesn't grow on trees, you know." James called out.

"What's the big idea of gettin' away and making me look bad when you're supposed to be standing on this trap door?" asked Meowth.

"What trap door, exactly?" Jessie questioned Meowth as they looked down at the grass underneath them.

"The one we're standing on right now?" asked James.

"Yep, good thing it didn't work so well." said Meowth. Finally, the trap door fell beneath Team Rocket, causing them to fall into one of their own holes.

"Now, are you two sure you understand the new plan?" Jessie asked, trying again moments later. "I don't want any more mistakes."

"You'll say something clever to get Seviper's attention." said James.

"And then we both jump out and bag it with the Pokenet." said Meowth.

"Good, here it comes now." said Jessie, seeing Seviper coming down the path.

"Right." said James and Meowth.

"Hey, Seviper, its lunchtime." said Jessie as it slithered and hissed passed Team Rocket.

"Huh?"

"Hi-yah!" shouted James and Meowth, throwing the net.

"Seviper!" shouted Seviper, getting caught in the net.

"You're a part of Team Rocket now, Seviper, so stop struggling and accept this as your lucky day." Jessie said.

"I think it's mad." said Meowth as he and James pulled on the net.

"Pull!" shouted James. "It's too strong." Jessie stood there watching as Seviper, James and Meowth pulled the net in opposite directions. "Oh, come on, creampuffs." said Jessie. "Put some muscle into it." She then groans when James and Meowth weren't pulling hard enough, then joins in.

Seviper hisses and bites through the net, freeing itself, causing Team Rocket to be thrown into a tree and slithers away. "My spleen. I give up." complained Meowth.

"How about we catch something easier, like a taxi?" James asked Jessie.

"Catch this one, you cupcakes." Jessie said with a smile on her face. "Now that I've seen how tough that Seviper is, I want to grab it even more."

At the Pokémon center, Nurse Joy and Chansey ran tests on Treecko who was now bandaged up and laying across an exam table. Ash, Hayley and their Pokémon were looking through the glass window. "Treecko. Don't worry, you're gonna be okay." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"We love you, Treecko." said Hayley.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Seviper always seems to be one step ahead of us." James said to Jessie as they sat down for lunch.

"Which means we got to work that much harder and come up with a new plot." said Jessie.

"I plot much better on a full tummy." said Meowth.

"Huh?" said Team Rocket as they all reached for the last rice ball. "Rice ball free-for-all!"

"Well, what do you know?" Jessie asked, holding the rice ball in her hand. "It's over, and I'm the winner. Hey!"

"That's so rude." said James, snatching it away from her. "You don't see Meowth or I grabbing, do you?"

"Mine."

"Gimme."

"Hey, quit it!" shouted Jessie as the three of them fought over the rice ball.

"No!" screamed Meowth as it was thrown into the water near them.

"That was the last one!" whimpered James.

"Gone to a watery grave." whimpered Meowth.

"What do you think?" James asked Meowth. "Shall we say a few words in its memory?"

"Here lies a rice ball I didn't get to eat." said Meowth.

"Oh, quit your sniveling." said Jessie. "It was just a rice ball, like any other."

"Where'd that come from?" asked James, seeing Jessie pull one out of nowhere.

"And where's ours?" asked Meowth.

"Where do you think it's from?" Jessie asked them. "I stashed it away just in case."

"Really?" growled James, angry that she did this to them. "Just in case of what?"

"Yeah! In case of what?" asked Meowth.

"You two should know by now all's fair in lunch and war." said Jessie. "Down the hatch."

Out of nowhere, Seviper's tail grabs the last rice ball from Jessie's hand. "Huh?" she said, biting into nothing. Team Rocket looks over at Seviper who then gobbles it down.

"How dare you steal from me?" Jessie asked angrily. "You overgrown Weedle, don't you know who I am?"

Seviper hisses at Jessie as its tongue pokes out of its mouth. "What?" she asked again. "You gave me the raspberry?"

"Jessie, now's our chance." James reminded her.

"Huh?"

"Catch Seviper while its close." said Meowth.

"Right, I knew that." said Jessie. "Go, Wobbuffet."

"Wobbuffet."

"Teach that thieving Seviper a lesson." Jessie tells Wobbuffet.

"Wobba!" shouted Wobbuffet, glaring at Seviper.

"Seviper." hissed Seviper, glaring right back at Wobbuffet and Team Rocket.

"Uh, I'm sure you already know this, but Wobbuffet can't do anything until its attacked by something else." James told Jessie.

"Hmm?" growled Jessie, angrily looking at James. "Of course, you're never useful when necessary." She then recalls Wobbuffet back into its Pokéball, then looks down at Meowth. "Let's see if you're any use."

"Why me?" asked Meowth.

"Double Edge Attack!" shouted Jessie, throwing Meowth into battle.

"Wait." said Meowth as he was heading for Seviper. "I don't know that attack!"

As Meowth got closer, Seviper hits him back with its tail, causing Meowth to scream in pain. "My last rice ball." exclaimed Jessie as Meowth knocks into her and James, throwing them back and into the ground.

"Her what?" asked James, looking up as Jessie runs toward it.

"She had one hidden." said Meowth.

"No! You won't get away." said Jessie as the rice ball bounced its way towards Seviper.

Hissing, Seviper opens its mouth and Jessie screams in horror, causing Seviper to bite and cut some of her hair. James and Meowth gasp at this while Jessie screams once again.

Seviper stares at Jessie with part of her hair in its mouth. Jessie cries out in horror. "Not my hair." she cried. "My flowing hair is my trademark."

"Knowing baby twerp, she'll having something to say about this." said James.

"You can say that again." said Meowth.

"Now I'm really mad." said Jessie, glaring at Seviper. "You've made a very big mistake, Seviper. Seviper hissed in fear, leaning away from Jessie.

"Poor Seviper." said James, hugging Meowth.

"It know not what it's done." said Meowth. Jessie screamed as she attacks Seviper herself, with Seviper screaming in pain. "She used Fury Swipes Attack."

"Emphasis on 'fury'." said James. Jessie then screamed as she kicks Seviper hard in the head. "Her unstoppable Megaton Kick."

"And highly effective." said Meowth.

Seviper passes out on the ground, unwilling to take another Jessie attack. "You riceball-stealing long-hair chomping…." Jessie started ranting as she shakes Seviper.

"Wait, wait, wait." James said before she went further.

"Easy on the merchandise." said Meowth. "Catch it."

"Catch it?" asked Jessie, then remembered what she was set out to do. "Oh, yes, of course, catch it. That's just what I was just about to do."

"Hoo-boy." sighed James.

"That was a close call." said Meowth.

"Go Pokéball." said Jessie, sending out an empty Pokéball and it hits its mark. "Ha! I caught a….Seviper!"

"Seviper." said James and Meowth.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"Your Treecko will be just fine." Nurse Joy said to Ash. "It needs to rest a bit more, and then we can release it."

"Thank you, Nurse Joy." said Ash.

"Pika! Pika!" added Pikachu.

"I was wondering," May started to ask. "Could the Nurse Joy that we met when we were in Oldale Town be your little sister?"

"Everyone always asks me that, but no." she said.

"May, this Nurse Joy is the younger sister of the second cousin of the Nurse Joy in Oldale Town's first cousin." said Brock. "Isn't that right?"

"Yes." Nurse Joy replied as Hayley and Max were trying to figure it out.

"The younger sister of the second cousin of the what?" asked Max. "I'm confused."

"Me too." said Hayley. "It's making my brain hurt again."

"Riolu…" said Meeko.

"I hear you, Max and Hayley." said May.

"Chansey. Chansey." Chansey said, running out to the group. "Chansey, Chansey, Chansey."

"Are you saying Treecko snuck out of its room?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Chansey. Chansey." Chansey replied.

"Wha?" asked Ash.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu. They ran out of the Pokémon center and looked for Treecko.

"Treecko! Treecko!" they all shouted.

"Pika! Pika!"

"Olu! Olu!"

"Treecko!" Ash called out.

"Come back!" said May.

"Are you out there?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Chansey." said Chansey.

"Treecko!" cried Hayley.

"Hey guys, look." said Max, seeing Treecko's bandages on the ground.

"What's that?" asked Ash.

"Treecko's bandages." said Nurse Joy.

"It took them off." said Hayley as they all gasped and looked into the forest.

"It looks like Treecko decided to head for the hills." said Brock.

"Why do you think it ran away?" asked May.

"I'm gonna go find out." said Ash, then takes off. On top of a waterfall, Treecko looks down at the rock below, contemplating on what it should do.

"Treecko!" it said, spitting out its twig and jumps, deciding that it would learn a new move.

"Come on, Treecko." Ash called out into the forest. "Please let me know where you are."

"Treecko!" said Max.

"Where are you?!" said Hayley.

"Pika! Riol!" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"I'm surprised it was able to get so far when it wasn't even fully recovered." said Brock.

"Yeah, me too." said May. "Wonder where it went?"

"Hey." said Max, spotting something up ahead. "I just heard something."

Behind trees, Max heard the sound of a waterfall. "Treecko!" said Treecko, aiming for the rock with its tail. "Treecko. Treecko."

After hitting the rock with its tail, Treecko falls into the water. "It's Treecko." said Ash.

"What in the world is it doing?" asked May.

"Looks like it's doing some sort of training." said Max.

"Hmm." Brock said, following Hayley's train of thinking. "That's exactly right, Max. It's working out."

"Working out?" asked Ash.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"Yes, big brothers of ours. Meeko and I do the same thing." said Hayley.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"We've never seen the two of you work out." said Ash. "All Pikachu and I see is the two of you dancing or jumping rope."

"That's because the two of you never paid attention to what we're doing, Ash." Hayley tells him.

"Olu." said Meeko, shaking her head.

"Oh. Pika." said Ash and Pikachu.

"I'll bet Treecko's still upset with itself for losing to Seviper." said Brock.

"So now its pushing itself to train." said Ash.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said in awe.

"Guess your Treecko really doesn't like to lose, huh Ash?" asked Max.

"I think that's really cool." May said, happily.

"Treecko!" said Treecko, trying again before falling into the water. "Treecko. Treecko! Treecko!"

Treecko tries again and again, training itself for its new move as Ash and the others watched it fall into the water. "Treecko, Treecko, Treecko." Treecko said to itself, panting as it was once again at the top of the waterfall. "Treecko, Treecko. Treecko, Treecko, Treecko. Treecko!"

Treecko dives once again. "Treecko!" it said, trying to land on target as the quintet gasps at the sight. "Treecko. Treecko! Tree!" Treecko starts to spin as it heads for the rock. "Cko! Treecko!"

Using its tail to hit the rock, Treecko hits the rock extremely hard, splitting it to different pieces. "Treecko!"

"All right." said Ash.

"It broke." said Max.

"Yay!" said Hayley.

"Riolu!" said Meeko.

"Awesome." said May.

"I see what Treecko's been trying to do, it managed to triple its striking power by spinning before hitting its target." said Brock.

"Good job, Treecko." Ash called out.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.

Just then, a mechanical hand came out of the bushes and grabs Pikachu. "Pika!" screamed Pikachu.

"Really?" Hayley asked, making another mark in her notebook.

"What's that?" Ash asked, looking over his shoulder.

"Treecko." said Treecko, hopping over to Ash.

"Prepare for trouble with Pikachu."

"Mm-hmm. And make it double, times two."

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"We blast off so beautifully at the speed of light!" said Jessie.

"So love us and surrender or prepare to fight!" said James.

"Ha! That's right!" said Meowth.

"Pika-Pi!" shouted Pikachu.

"This makes how many now, Hayley?" asked Brock.

"Makes…..number 280 so far, Brock." said Hayley.

"I'm impressed." said Max.

"Team Rocket." said Ash.

"Not you again." said Brock.

"Chu!" shouted Pikachu, using Thunderbolt, only he had lit up the lightbulb outside.

"Yep, and again we sucked out all of Pikachu's electricity." said Meowth.

"And also again Pikachu belongs to us, so get used to it." said Jessie.

"Never!" shouted Hayley, glaring at Team Rocket. "Pikachu is a Ketchum; he will always be a Ketchum and he's gonna stay a Ketchum! He doesn't belong to your or your boss! You will deal with it!"

"I never want to see Hayley this angry ever again." said Max, hugging his sister.

"Me too." said May.

"This is Hayley at her best. You should've seen her when she dealt with Gary." said Brock.

"Oh, no you don't. You heard what Hayley said." Ash said to Team Rocket. "Go Taillow!"

"Taillow!" said Taillow.

"Go Cacnea!" said James.

"Cacnea!" squealed Cacnea as it hugs James.

"Looks like we have another hugger." Brock said to Hayley.

"Yep." she said, nodding with Meeko.

"Cacnea, Pin Missile attack." said James.

"Cac! Cacnea!" it said, aiming its arms at the quintet and fires off its Pin Missile.

"Taillow, dodge it." said Ash.

"Low! Taillow!" screeched Taillow, flying around Cacnea's Pin Missile.

"And now we'd like to introduce the new face of Team Rocket." said Jessie.

"So, after much anticipation….." said James.

"Get ready, folks, for the rookie of the year." said Meowth.

"What are they jabbering about?" asked Max.

"A baseball game?" questioned May.

"This should be good." said Hayley, getting a chair out for her and Meeko.

"Riolu, Olu." said Meeko.

"It's time, Seviper." said Jessie.

"Seviper!" it shouted, coming out of its Pokéball.

"No way." said Ash, shocked.

"Treecko!" said Treecko.

"That same Seviper." said Brock.

"Team Rocket caught it?" asked Max.

"Wow!" said Hayley.

"Now, crush 'em Seviper, and there'll be more in it for you than rice balls." said Jessie.

"Seviper." it hissed.

"Treecko." Treecko said, challenging Seviper.

"Treecko, hold on." said Ash.

"Treecko."

"Before you start battling, don't forget you're not alone." Ash tells it.

"You have us and Pikachu, supporting you all the way." said Hayley.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Treecko." said Treecko.

"We're your friends, Treecko, and we're on your side, okay?" asked Ash. "We'll battle with you."

"Yeah. Riol." said Hayley and Meeko. Treecko looked at Ash, Hayley and Meeko, studying their faces before smiling. "Treecko." it said, ready for anything. "Treecko! Treecko."

"Seviper, Poison Tail." said Jessie.

"Seviper!" hissed Seviper, scouring its tail with Poison and aiming it at Treecko.

"Treecko, use your Quick Attack." said Ash.

"Treecko!" shouted Treecko, using Quick Attack. "Treecko. Treecko. Treecko."

Seviper tried with all its might to make contact with Treecko. "Hold still, you little pipsqueak, and let Seviper thrash you." said Jessie.

"Treecko, show Jessie that you're not a pipsqueak." said Hayley.

"Treecko." it said, nodding.

"Treecko, Pound Attack now." said Ash.

"Treecko!" Treecko cried out as it swings its tail around and hits Seviper in the face. "Treecko. Treecko."

"Finish this before it can attack again, send that little green pest airborne with the power of your Poison Tail." yelled Jessie as Seviper hissed at Treecko, using Poison Tail again.

"Watch out, Treecko." said Ash. "Show 'em the move that you worked so hard on."

"You can do it, Treecko." said Hayley.

"Seviper!" said Seviper, swinging its tail around.

"Treecko!" shouted Treecko, dodging Seviper's Poison Tail. "Treecko! Tree!" Doing what it did at the waterfall, Treecko starts spinning in the air. "Cko! Treecko!"

Treecko lands its tail on Seviper's head, causing it to groan in pain. "Treecko." said Treecko, as Seviper gets thrown back and knocks into Team Rocket, who then let's go of Pikachu.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu as the container opens.

"Don't look now, but Pikachu just hatched." said Meowth.

"Pikachu." said Ash.

"Pika-Pi!" exclaimed Pikachu and hops into Ash's arms.

"Treecko." said Treecko, walking to the others.

"Treecko?" Ash asked.

"And where do you think you're going?" Hayley asked.

"Treecko, Treecko." it tells her, then picks up it twig. "Treecko, Treecko. Treecko."

"Whatever Treecko said, it's serious." said Hayley.

"You bet Treecko's serious." said Meowth, then translated. "It said now that it got its revenge, Pikachu and Meeko can take care of the rest. What are we, chopped liver?"

"You're right!" said James. "That's insulting."

"Olu! Riol, Riol!" Meeko said, pointing to James.

"Meeko said that you're insulting." Meowth said to James.

"Why you little…!" James shouted.

"Where's that big, bad Seviper-attitude you had before?" Jessie questioned her Pokémon.

"Maybe this will help you guys look for it." said Ash. "Pikachu, Thunder Attack."

"Hopefully you'll find it." said Hayley. "Meeko, Cross Chop."

"Pika…chu!"

"Riolu!"

As Pikachu released electricity from his body, Meeko crosses her arms and quickly ran towards Team Rocket, punching them. "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket.

"Wobbuffet!" shouted Wobbuffet. May and Max cheered as they ran up with Brock.

"Taillow, Taillow!" said Taillow.

"Thanks, Treecko." said Ash. "Without you, we never would've been able to beat them."

"You're an official Ketchum now." said Hayley.

"Pika! Pika! Olu!" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Treecko." Treecko said with a smile on its face.

"Hmm?" Ash wondered, getting to Treecko's level.

"Treecko." said Treecko, extending its tail towards Pikachu and Meeko.

"I see." said Ash.

"Pika!" squealed Pikachu.

"It's officially nice to meet you, Treecko." said Hayley.

"Riol!" said Meeko.

"Hey, that's how Treecko shake hands." said Max.

"This one sure is full of surprises." said May.

"Yeah, I'm happy it's on our side." said Brock.

Narrator: And so, gaining the trust and the awesome power of his newest Pokémon Treecko, Ash continues on his journey, looking forward to many more adventures and a lot more Pokémon.

Hayley: I wonder where our next adventure is.

Meeko: Riolu!

Max: I hope it's to another new Pokémon.

Narrator, smiling: You never know, you three.
